New Brand: Garcon Model

Tell us about Garcon Model, how did you guys get started in the Men’s Underwear world? 

In 2012 we were inspired to manufacture high-end and high quality men’s underwear for the every-day wear. We’ve tried hundred of different brands, style and colors and their wasn’t anything that we truly liked; So we decided why not make our own brand that would please modern men. We wanted men to feel sharp and confident in their style of underwear whether they worn it under a suit, at the gym or under a pair of jeans. We also designed the fabric to be ultra comfortable, and convenient for today’s activities with iron-free technology and moisture-wicking properties.

You have just recently launched, what are the styles you currently offer?

A year in the making of carefully selecting the fabric, shape, colors and the right type of stitching is what is making our brand a top quality brand. We’ve focused our energy on 15 great pairs for people to start with! Our sexy collection of briefs, trunks and boxers comes in 5 classic colors.

The photography you guys did for the launch is amazing, was there a theme behind the pictures? Where was your location?

Selecting the right models and location took months, after extended research we found the right spot and models in Croatia. We were looking for a unique location that would be eye catching for our customers. We’ve also shot a behind the scene footage for our fans at www.youtube.com/garconmodel !

What inspires you guys to create new underwear? 

Our slogan at Garçon Model™ is “Undress for success”. With this philosophy in mind, we wanted to offer masculine classic designs that would look sharp and even eye-catching in any occasions. Our customers appreciate this sense of luxury and masculinity in our designs.

2wink Australia Launches “40 DEGREES & 38 DEGREES” Swimwear Ranges

Iconic Aussie underwear brand 2wink Australia are heating things up in the southern hemisphere by adding two new ranges of swimwear briefs to its summer collection, entitled “40 Degrees & 38 Degrees”.  That’s 104 & 100 Fahrenheit for those in the USA & others.    Once again the new ranges highlight a removable “Bulge Booster” pouch substituting for those cold water moments.

The “38 Degrees” range has two front square coloured panels one of cool blue and the other of white with opposite coloured leg trims.  To bring to light the rear, matching cool blue snugs the behind.  Heating things up to “40 Degrees” 2wink replaced the cool blue panel with a sizzling hot peach.  Both designs have a draw-string neatly hidden inside and centred to the waistband.  Each pair includes the “Bulge Booster” foam mould that can be inserted into or removed from the inside pocket in the front pouch. Branding the design and nicely positioned to the front is the Company’s rubber logo.

The ranges were shot at popular Australian beach, Cottesloe in Western Australia, Headquarters of 2wink on a warm Aussie summer’s day.   “We were in the middle of the shoot when the crew of the Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club came to investigate a growing crowd.  Before the crew knew it, we had them posing next to the models with much excitement” says 2wink Australian co-owner Carl McNeill.  “The girls and the guys from the Surf Life Saving Club enjoyed having their photo taking with the models and it added a buzz to an already hot summers day”

The Underwear of the Week this week is the Personal Fit Factor Shower Brief. This is a pair that Greg from C-IN2 was telling me about at Magic. This pair is one that uses the trophy shelf technology to give more room up front. For those of you who need it, it will be a welcome addition. Also the pouch has extra pleats to give the extra room, so it can stretch with your body. It’s great to see an underwear company pay attention to the male anatomy. Review – Cocksox Jockstrap CX21

I have to admit that Cocksox has been one of my favorite pairs to review on UNB. They make underwear that just fits me well and gives me the great support. The support is the important thing to me in underwear. This is my second jock to review from them; the first was the Leopard Jock. That pair quickly became one of my favorites and so I had very high hopes for this pair!

Let’s face it, there are only so many places that you can wear a leopard jock and get away with it. However, it does make a great pair to wear on a date night. The new pair I got was red with a black waistband. Made out of 92% suplex/8% Spandex blend. The material created a really great pouch. Which is one of my favorite things about Cocksox. The large size I got was a great fit for me. Their sizing is about the same as the US.

I wore these on a weekend for some errands and hanging out with friends. It was a low key but a great way to try out a pair. The pair was amazingly comfortable. The jock fit as well as the leopard jock. The pouch shows off what you have but gives really great support. It was one of those pairs that feel like you aren’t wearing any underwear. The leg straps fit great too; there was no bunching or rolling. As I said I forgot I was wearing a jock through out the day. Luckily I wasn’t going anywhere special and didn’t really pay attention to how much I was showing off under my jeans.

The jock is going to be one of my favorite pairs. As I have said I recently lost weight and am building my collection in the new size. It gets hard to go through the underwear drawer and find favorite pairs that I can’t fit in. So, a pair that fits great and in the new size is a good thing
