Obviously is a brand I have heard so much about. Everyone I know whose purchased them has loved them. Needless to say, I was really excited about reviewing them. They came and I put them on the next day. First thing I noticed was the pouch fit me rather funny. It has a very good and fitted pouch, but it felt like it was slightly squeezing me. I thought, if this is going to feel this w
ay through out the day, there is no way I can wear them. After about 20 minutes, however, I didn’t notice it.
I wore them for that day and they fit very well. The material is incredible. We have told you about Micro Modal before and I wasn’t sure how it would fit. It reminded me of a nylon lycra blend. It was comfortable and breathed through out the day. I was glad they lived up to their reputation. The best thing is they sent me a green pair. Do you ask why I was so excited? Well, green is my favorite color and whenever I see green undies, I get them. It’s not often you see that color in the choices.

One thing I noticed is that you should never wash these with anything containing Velcro. I washed them with some cargo shorts and I 
found my briefs stuck to the cargos. I thought,”What in the hell is going on here!” I first thought that maybe they melted but I didn’t set the dryer that high. When I looked further, I noticed it was the Velcro. It didn’t do any damage to the undies except a little to the inside of the waistband.
I did like these and will wear them again. The materials are my favorite and I hope more companies use this type. It’s truly amazing. Even though the fit didn’t agree with me at first, they became much more comfortable and the day passed.

Saxx Apparel is a new company many of you have heard about. They are taking a new approach to the world of men’s underwear and we had the opportunity to talk to Trent Kitsch, the founder of Saxx.
How did you get into the Underwear business?
I am the founder of Saxx, and came up with the idea as an inspiration while salmon fishing in the Ocean.
What inspired you for your new and innovative design?
I was wearing an ocean suit and had my legs together in the front nose of the boat. Because of the suit and my spot on the boat my balls were on my legs and I was uncomfortable. I thought to myself “how could I re-design men’s underwear to 
prevent contact and be more comfortable?”
It was quiet and I was looking out over the calm ocean and I began designing the “Saxx Comfort Side Panels” in my mind. When I got back to Grad School, I hired a professional fashion designer and we got to work. Alot of prototyping later Saxx was born.
Can you tell us what styles you currently have?
We currently have three lines with four different leg length styles.
What is your best selling style?
Our Best 
selling Style is the Saxx Bamboo Boxer Brief and a close second the Saxx Bamboo Trunk. The Bamboos are awesome.
You offer just black, are you going to expand into more colors.
We are going to have white available for Spring 2010 and we are also working on a custom print, boardshorts, and a low rise version of the underwear.

Saxx Apparel is a very interesting company. They make boxer briefs, which you know is not my favorite, but they are made to keep your boys in place. They have a very interesting design with panels that keeps everything up and also dry. This is great if you do sports or are real active during the day.
Upon seeing the design, I was a little unsure of how it would fit. It was one of those things that it was either going to be incredible or 
something that would, as in today’s lexicon, would FAIL. I got the regular boxer briefs and gave them a shot.
I got what was listed as my size, and they were a little big. I figured, “oh no, I’m in trouble now!” But, it really was comfortable. I was surprised the pouch gave me such support. I like everything being held in place and these did that. When you see the design you will be like, how does it do it? I will answer, I don’t know but I’m glad it did. It’s a great design and one that I wish I had gotten a smaller size. I was told that if I wash in hot and dry on high they would shrink. I will update you on that. But all in all they are well worth a try!

I would say if you’re active, you should definitely give Saxx a try! They are made for the more active guy! I think they will go far! We just did an interview with them and should have that posted in the next week or so. If you’re on Twitter and following them, they posted about their photo shoot last week. And gave you a preview!
