Let me state up front. My underwear drawer is full of two requirements that until recently have been non-negotiable: 1.) Briefs (bikinis count) and 2.) Anatomical Pouches. That’s right—If you want to get me a gift, align with those two categories and it’s a sure success. This combination is the staple of my collection.

One of the exciting things about being on the team at UNB centers on the exploration of new styles. Admittedly, it’s hard to get me to see past my bias. Occasionally a review pair will show up in the mail. That is neither of the two aforementioned categories. They BLOW ME OUT OF THE WATER. That happened recently and I want to share my experience with you.

Not long ago, I made contact with the guys at Big Boys Pants. A UK based men’s underwear company that a couple of brothers got together to start a few years back. The reason they started the company will make an awesome post in the future. The bottom line—they were tired of buying designer underwear that left them in a bind. The result—the manliest, most comfortable, anatomically correct men’s underwear on the market. That’s a lot coming from an anatomical snob like myself and I don’t say it lightly.

That’s not even the kicker. The fellows at Big Boys sent me a brief, a thong, and trunk to try out. I knew I’d love the brief, was leery about the thong, and certain I’d hate the trunk. Trunks just don’t do anything for me but right up my legs and bunch up in the most uncomfortable way. Boy was I wrong.

I’m wearing the Big Boys trunk as I type and want a dozen more for the collection. What’s so fabulous about this trunk?

  • The softest fabric I’ve ever put on. 95% Modal and 5% Elestane combine to create an exhilarating second skin feel. That I’d put up against any of the big brands. The 1 ½ inch waistband is soft, non-binding, and slimming. The leg bands are perfect. To top it off, the fabric is seemed in the pouch area (which by the way is how they get the anantomical design). It leaves no embarrassing lines on the seat of the pants (slipping into UK talk)—I mean underwear.
  • Price point—Something this comfortable should not be so affordable. Compared some other brands that charge upwards of $30 to $40 for something this amazing. Big Boys price point for their trunk is only $18. What?!? That’s insane. To make the deal sweeter, they offer multi-pack discounts. These guys are incredible!
  • All of their styles come in multiple color selections with the same mesmerizing fabric. Beware when you are searching; they call their trunk a low-rise brief. Must be another language barrier issue that I’m willing to overcome for this deal of a lifetime. Not only that, they have a US based site that offers FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75.

I cannot overstate how much I despise trunks. However, this Big Boys will go down in history as the COMPANY THAT SOLD ME ON TRUNKS!

Over the last few years we have a set of posts that gets traffic long after the pairs on them have been retired. Those are underwear for endowed guys. I think these posts are so popular because endowed guys face a challenge in finding underwear that fits. Speaking from experience, it sucks when you see an amazing pair of underwear and then think to yourself “There is no way that pouch will contain me”

This has happened so many times to me. Its hard to find underwear that fits and gives amazing support. That is not to say its impossible. Over the last year I have tried some new brands and have some standards that every endowed guy should own. And the pairs are not all about showing off, its about great comfort. Comfort is the number one factor for me finding underwear.

I am going to give you some brands to go research that will make it easier to shop. I will mix it up the styles because not everyone is a brief fan like I am.

B7a12saIMAEEYl6Sukrew – When they first came on the market they had pairs without any pouch. All your business just hung out. I was skeptical of how this would work. But their briefs and trunks came out and have an amazing pouch. It’s one of the most comfortable pouches of 2015. I reviewed a pair of the Tartan briefs. When I slide them on I knew they would be amazing. The pouch really conforms to a guy and gives you such amazing support. The way the pouch was designed it can fit guys of all sizes not just the endowed. I will say I didn’t notice too big a bulge in my pants but its a pair that is just amazing and I will be buying more of these.

9623 _6_Andrew Christian – Not only does Andrew Christian have one line but they have two lines that are great for endowed guy. The two lines are Trophy Boy & Almost Naked. The Trophy boy is made for the super endowed guy. Meaning is you are way above average these will fit. Where as the Almost naked isn’t marketed for endowed but has an ergonomically designed pouch. The Trophy boy I call the Magnum condom of underwear, guy want to brag they can fill them out (not that its a bad thing!). I like the Trophy boy line but is a little looser cut and not as much support to me as the Almost Naked. But this is a personal preference and you may like the cut and support of the Trophy Boy. This however is not a factor for me not to buy them. I have a few pairs and do enjoy them.

gold2International Jock John Sievers – This brand is one that is a hidden gem at International Jock. I think very few of the mainstream population knows this brand. It’s very well made and has an amazing pouch. While not specifically marketed to endowed guys, it is one of the best on the market for us. I haven’t seen this brand out in the wild that much, meaning i don’t see guys posting pics in them or guy wearing them out. Don’t let that fool you thought. They have a massive amount of colors and the most popular cuts. The line is designed and sold exclusively at International Jock. I have a pair of the Gold and I was more than pleased with the pair. Each time I talk to a guy who has tired them, they swear by them. Take note they aren’t the cheapest undies but finding a pair that fits, sometimes price isn’t a factor.

blue_miniBig Boys Pants – The name says it all here! These pants (UK for underwear) is made for big boys. This brand I have reviewed a few times here and is a lot more classic in their cuts and colors. So if you like to be a little more conservative in your underwear this would be a great brand for you. The materials and pouch are top notch. I have tried the boxers and briefs, each totally exceeded my expectations each time I tired them. The best thing about the brand is they designed a pouch specifically for them. Next, each pair is made out of modal so it feels so damn amazing on your skin.

csx_grey6

Cocksox – Where do I begin with this brand? It is one of the first pairs I have even tried. The CX01 bikini is a staple in my underwear drawer. I love wearing it! But one of the things you should know is that you will show off everything you have! That is with the original Cocksox. The pouch is like a wonder jock for women. It takes everything you have and shows it off to the world. There are some situations where this would be a problem but sometimes you want the attention. As in most underwear brands, I prefer the briefs more. But all their underwear is great. I have tried I think everything they have in their catalog. Each fit very well and you won’t have any problems with it being too small.

These are just a few brands right now I swear by. There are more on the market such as Ergowear (which I will be getting new pairs to review) and Obviously. More makers of underwear are making pairs for this market. Which is a great thing. As I try more brands I”ll let you know!

We are pleased to announce the Underwear of the Month for November. As you can tell the picture, the winner is the Mini Brief from Big Boy Pants. We did a series of great reviews on this brand and we are not surprised they won the vote this month. If you are a fan of great pouch underwear then this is definitely a pair you need to check out. Here are some reasons why it was voted on as Underwear of the Month

  • They look hot and comfortable at the same time. Id love a pair please.
  • The ergonomically correct pouch are a hands down winner in my book.  I’ve cleaned out my underwear draw and starting to fill it back up with underwear that are made with a pouch such as these. -PS
  • They’re stylish and give plenty of room & comfort!
  • Simple looking and accentuating, look perfect for the office or a night out on the town! -Travis

I get to wrap up my three review of Big Boy Pants. They have been a really fun company to review. As I have said I love pairs with great pouches and this brand has them. I want to try the thong next so I can have all the pairs they offer! But on with the last review!

These lived up to the other reviews. I hear you saying well DUH! But we have had brands where not all brands are created equal and sizing was not consistant across the styles. The Lo-Rise boxer had a very similar fit to the Boxer Brief. While I am not the boxer brief aficionado, I didn’t tell too much difference between the fit of the pairs. The Big Boys site says this pair has a waist band lower then the boxer brief. Either way it fit very well. This pair also had the great pouch the others had. It just felt so awesome to wear all day. It was a pair that I wanted to wear more then one day, but I didn’t!

I put these through the paces running around town. They gave me really great support. I can’t rave any more about the pouch. If you love ergonomically designed underwear then this is a must for your underwear drawer. It feels like you aren’t wearing any underwear. Which to me is the best compliment you can give a pair of underwear, as odd as it sounds. Because there is nothing worse then underwear you know you are wearing and it will drive you crazy. But, back to the daily wear part of the review…I love these and the fit. They are going to be one of my favorite new companies.

These are made out of a 95% Modal – 5% Elastane blend. Which for those of you not familiar is super soft and stretchy. The fabric conforms to your body and allows your body to breath. I very much doubt you will feel constricted or hot in these. The legs stayed in place and just felt great all day.

Pros:

  • Amazing pouch
  • Super soft breathable fabric
  • Stayed in place
  • Available in great colors

Cons:

  • I need more of these!
  • None to mention

Last week I got a chance to review the Big Boys Brief and I loved them. So, with that great review I had high hopes for the Boxer Briefs. I was hoping that the great pouch carried over and  I wouldn’t disappointed? Well I can say that I wasn’t disappointed at all!

I got the Big Boy Briefs in a size large. They fit me very well and moved with me through out the day. Its great to find a pair of boxer briefs with an amazing pouch. So many times I have high hopes for a pair of boxer briefs but they never live up.  I’m always wary of when I get a pair of boxer briefs to review. Many boxer briefs don’t build in a pouch.

My worries were calmed when I put these on. These like the briefs were made out of the modal mix material. Which makes it super soft and conforms to your body. I actually liked the way this pouch fit a little better then the briefs. Which I didn’t think would be possible. The way it holds everything in place and gives you amazing support. For me one of the most important factors is support. I hate to have everything flop around all day. This pair meets and exceeded my expectations.

I wore the pair to work and had no issues. The boxer brief didn’t ride up or bunch at all. The modal material really conformed and held in place all day. Nothing worse in any pair of underwear then riding up or bunching up. These would be great for someone who has an active job. The material will breath and keep in place. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I think that Big Boys is going to be one of my new favorite underwear companies. They have designed really great underwear and I’m super happy that I got to try them out. Its  great to have an underwear company pay attention to how guys are made and deign around that.

Pros:

  • Amazing pouch
  • Great Fit
  • Super Soft Material

Cons:

  • Can’t think of any

Big Boy Pants is a brand I have seen for a some time and one I really wanted to review. I love the styles and ergonomically design. If you are a long time reader you know how much I love underwear with great pouches. Some of my favorites in the past, which are similar to Big Boy Pants, Obviously, Cocksox, Ergowear and such. We received three pairs to review. The Mini Brief (this one), Lo-Rise Boxer Brief and Boxer Briefs.

It recently have begun a weight loss program of eating better and am down 50 pounds since the start.  So this is making some of my favorite undies too big for me. Which is a good problem to have. I now wear larges and they pairs they sent me fit me just perfectly. I am super happy to be back in a large. The material is a modal blend and is super soft. Modal really forms to the body and feels amazing. The pouch at first was a little strange to me, but I realized that that you need to make sure you fit snuggly in the pouch. After I adjusted it, I had no other issues with the fit.

The Mini Briefs are a bikini cut with a branded waistband. It’s higher cut on the legs and really moves with you through the day. I didn’t have any issues with the pair riding up. They make this claim on their website and I’m glad it held true! The pair also is one of those that fits so good you forget you are wearing underwear. Which to me is the best sign of wearing underwear. Because there is nothing worse than wearing a pair that constantly rides up or bothers you!

I would highly recommend this pair for anyone who wants ergonomically designed underwear. Its a trend in men’s underwear and one I am glad to see. Big Boy Pants really took the time to design a pair that would fit a man. The pouch has to be my favorite part, it just held everything in place and gave me the support I needed!

Pros:

  • Great ergonomic fit
  • Made from super soft modal
  • Higher cut that didn’t ride up

Cons:

  • Just make sure you are fit securely in the pouch
