Real Men Do Wear Pink – Poll results

We had a few of you share your opinions on pink underwear. And I must say I was not surprised by the results. I think most of you feel the same way I do, that pink is an appropriate color for men’s underwear!

Almost 90% of you guys served rock pink at some point. Which is awesome, because I think pink gear is sexy as hell. It’s no longer a fem color, but a color for everyone.

Most of you wear pink underwear, however there are some of you who will wear swimwear, spandex, fetishwear and more in pink! I think the most pink items are in undies but we are seeing growth in the rest this year. Brands like Sparta Harnesses is making pink harnesses!

Pros:

  • New line print is awesome
  • Has a fantastic pouch for a boxer brief
  • Construction is awesome and will last for a few years

Cons:

  • Not every guy will like a boxer brief
  • It could be too “loud” for guys who love classic colors

UNB Tim recommendation: If you are a brief guy and need to branch out this is the perfect pair to try. It’s colorful, fun and has an amazing pouch. I enjoyed wearing it and will definitely wear it again

I am not a big fan of boxer briefs because they usually don’t have good support. That is not the case with this boxer brief, Cocksox puts a pouch in everything they make, which is a good thing. Plus with the stripes, I was looking forward to this pair.

It has been a while since I wore a boxer brief from Cocksox and was looking forward to seeing how it did. I knew being a style I don’t wear regularly; I wasn’t going to wear it out all day. I wore it for errands when I knew I would be back. However, the pair was excellent and gave me the support I come to expect from Cocksox.

The construction of Cocksox is one of the best. All their underwear is very well made. They use some of the best fabric on the market, that feels amazing against your skin. Plus they make undies that will last for several years in your underwear drawer.

Sizing for me in Cocksox has never been an issue. The brand has had consistent sizing that I have never had a problem. Check the sizing chart to be sure and always go a size bigger if you are on the upper end of the size scale.

I didn’t love this as much as I loved the brief I reviewed. That is because I LOVE briefs. But this is a pair that for a brief fan that needs to broaden their horizons. The pouch will fit amazing, and the color of the fabric will make a statement.

4Hunks has pretty much is out of the park with their Thunder Jock. While it has all of the basic jock elements, it takes it to another level with so many of the design elements and fabric.

Let’s start with the fabric because it is the first thing you notice when you touch this jock and put it on. The cotton is smooth and silky feeling, it’s a delight to feel against your package. Unlike the traditional jockstrap, there is no wide waistband here, it is minimal and comfortable.

Now let’s look at the styling details. A layer of mesh runs throughout this jock with a pop of colorful cotton fabric underneath. I received the yellow, but red is also an option. I appreciate that 4Hunks knows its audience and embraces some fetish abbreviations for their color options…WS for yellow and FF for red. The ass straps have the primary jock color (yellow or red) with a solid black trim.

So what don’t I like about this jock? Honestly, the only negative was the room (or lack of) in the pouch. I would have liked to see more stretch in the pouch, something that would show the bulge off a just a bit more. This is a fairly common occurrence for me with jocks so if you don’t typically have that issue; this is a great jock you should try.

Lace…a fabric that is growing in popularity in the world of mens underwear, but a fabric that is still controversial for some. Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of wearing my lace myself, but enjoy seeing it on other guys. For me, it falls into the same realm as mesh and I find both mesh and lace to be tricky fabrics when it comes to long-term comfort. The Bum-Chum Men’s Turquoise Lace Brief was no exception.

Overall, the fit of the brief is perfect. The size medium furnished to me was the same size as I typically wear and it fit as expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find the front allowed enough room for my package. That said, after wearing for a while, I found my equipment would rub against the fabric some and it rubbed in a certain way, it was not a pleasant feeling.

While I do not envision myself using this brief for all-day wear, I do think it is perfect to wear for some fun in the bedroom. I really love the turquoise lace with the contrasting black lace trim. It makes for a visually interesting brief. Bum Chums also offers some other lace color options as well, which I appreciate. The brief also appears to be well constructed and looks like it will last a long time.

Overall, if lace and/or mesh usually work well for you, then I would definitely recommend this brief. I would also recommend it for any guy who is looking to branch out and try something new. Lace may not be for every guy, but you never know until you try, and this would be a good starter lace brief.

New Nylon Brief – BodyAware Rip Stop Brief

If you have never tried nylon underwear you may not get how awesome the undies are. I know we have a good number of guys out there who love nylon undies. The briefs feel almost silky against your skin, but there isn’t a lot of give in the fabric. Note the pairs appear to be “baggy.” However the fit is pretty good.

Nylon undies takes me back to my teens. It was big in the 80’s and early 90’s but they have virtually disappeared. Only a few brands have these. So these are old school undies with a new design from BodyAware. Which I’m really glad to see out there! Retro is never really out of style in the world of undies.

UNB Tim recommendation: If you like fun and bold prints, this pair is for you. It’s not a typical print seen in underwear. That is what makes it fun. The pouch is spot-on amazing, still one of the best on the market. If you are a Cocksox fan or just an undies fan, this is a must-have pair.

I am probably one of the biggest fans of Cocksox there is! When I was in Vegas in Feb, I got to see all the new stuff, and I was amazed. The Paradise Palms print is one I MUST own! The super fun beach print is fantastic. It’s not something you see in undies regularly. Let’s not forget to mention the pouch!

This pair was worn around for errands and office work. But it could be used to work out or be active wearing. The Cocksox pouch is perfect for working out due to the support it offers. No matter what you do in this pair, you will love the fit and feel of these.

The construction of Cocksox is one of the best. I have had several pairs that have lasted 5 or more years. The fabric and construction of these are what you would expect for Cocksox. There is nothing worse than investing in a pair and only have it last a few times. Well, don’t worry that won’t happen with Cocksox.

Sizing for me in Cocksox has never been an issue. The brand has had consistent sizing that I have never had a problem. Check the sizing chart to be sure and always go a size bigger if you are on the upper end of the size scale.

I loved this pair! I want more of these and especially the CX01 Bikini! OMG, I love love the new prints that Cocksox has come up with for this year’s collection. Make sure you check them out. They have stripes and original animal prints as well. We will have those reviews soon.
