Men’s Underwear

Category

The last two years, thongs have been the big thing. Everyone regardless of being gay or straight went crazy for the pair. They are still super popular, but it made me often think of the Jock and was this style going away from the mainstream and just be in fetish world?

There have been a few new jock companies come onto the scene. Coyote Jockstraps is one of the newest to come across my radar. They have a very classic, varsity feel to me. While they don’t look like the “classic bike” they do have a sports feel.

The waistbands have a “sports” inspired stripe to me. It reminds me of the stripe in athletic sox or football uniforms. I really like the look of these a lot! They come in three colors, white, black, burgundy, and hunter green. Green is my favorite so I”m excited about these.

If you are a jock fan check out all the new Coyote jocks.

Just a quick reminder that there is new Male Power underwear out! Male Power is known for its erotic and fun designs. This collection’s pics are a little more low key than previous but there are still some super fun designs in the collection.

Check out all the new awesome styles in the collection. The Male Power site now has a store. In the past it’s been hard to find but now you can order directly from them!

As I have said many times if you’re a lover of underwear you need to be in Instagram. I find so many new brands on the site than any others. One brand that has caught my eye is Matt McCall underwear. It’s a small and up and coming brand. But the look of the undies is what got my attention.

I am a big fan of the classic bikini. It’s a style I grew up on and love till this day. Matt McCall makes very classic bikinis in very classic colors. This reminds me of my days growing up with Jockey Elance and a few other brands. However, the looks are where that stops.

Unlike those bikinis this one has a bit more design. Those old bikinis had no pouch and were pretty simple. This pair features a double layered contoured front pouch. This will get some of your attention. Because pouches are super important to a lot of us!

Sizing is one thing I hope they add too soon. The current sizing is up to a large and 36-inch waist. If you’re a taller guy like me you may have a bigger waist due to height. Time will definitely stell.

Pair: Matt McCall Underwear Classic Brief
Color: Black or White
Fabric: 95% Rayon with 5% Spandex
Sizes: Small – Large
Price: $27.00

You guys love deals and limited edition underwear. I had to remind you guys that Clever Moda has a collection of limited edition pairs of underwear. They range from boxer briefs/trunks to briefs. Sorry, no thongs or jocks as of yet.

The best thing is the price. When you say limited edition, it may seem like the price goes up with the exclusivity. However, the Clever pairs are $10 and up. Most are just over $12. Which by any standard is a freaking deal in underwear.

Go to the Clever Moda US site and check out all the pairs. Below is a sample of the pairs.

Are you after a brand with an amazing pouch? Sukrew has one of the best pouches out there. It’s def in my top 10 of pouches. They always have really cool styles and colors of their underwear. One new one that caught my eye is the Eagle Brief.

This is what Sukrew says about the new pair:

With a striking branded waistband and enhancing fit, the Eagle Brief demands attention. SUKREW’s Full Pouch fits perfectly around your package, shaping and lifting for a consistently impressive bulge. Sensually soft and silky, while breathable, our polyamide-elastane fabric clings to your bum, gives ultimate comfort, and begs to be touched.

I like this pair because it looks like a “basic” pair. Basics are always good to have in your underwear drawer. Plus when it looks basic but fits like a designer pair it’s a win win!!!

Get the Eagle Brief at the Sukrew site.

Pair: Sukrew Eagle Brief
Color: Black
Fabric: 82% Polyamide, 18% Elastane (excluding trims)
Sizes: Small – X-Large
Price: $18.84

Are you looking for an old school jock? One brand to look into is Timoteo’s Tight End Jockstrap. This jock has a classic waistband with the label in front. It also comes in multiple colors.

A piece of jockstrap trivia, the original “classic jocks” waistband stripes were different for each size. I heard this was for easy sorting by equipment managers.

This is what Timoteo says about the pair:

Combining the classic jockstrap look and detailing with today’s hottest colors & new fabrication.  This is the NEW Cellblock13 Tight End Jockstrap.  Built with a supportive woven mesh pouch and a sturdy elastic waistband, this rugged jock is the best-updated version of the traditional team sports jocks that livened up the locker rooms of days gone by.

I”m wondering if you guys have this same issue. When I pack to go on a trip, either work or vacation, I always pack about twice as many pairs of underwear than I would ever need. For example if i go out of town for 5 days I always pack 10-15 pairs of underwear because you never know!

When I start packing, I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t overpack as I used too. Back in the day, I would take way more than I would ever need. It was ridiculous. After a few trips with small carry-ons for a week trip. I learned how to pack with just enough. Now I add maybe one or two extra shirts but that’s about it.

Then we get to underwear; everything goes out the window. I try to pack pairs I love to wear. That leads to “oh I love this pair too.” and this one and this one. Well, I may want to wear this one too. By the time I’m done I have more undies than anything else. This kinda happens with swimwear but not as bad. I only pack 3-4 swim briefs.

An example, this trip to Magic/Project I was gone from Wednesday Night till Monday. This is for five days, but I had 12 pairs of underwear. I included underwear for cold, which Vegas was, and some just in case the weather warmed up. I also pack for activities and just in cases. Just in case I go out or for walking/cardio.

Who else does this? Do you over pack undies or everything? The only good thing is that undies take up very little space in a suitcase. Do any of your partners give you grief on packing?

I LOVE Ergowear. Their underwear has always been one of my favorites. They have just released the new Flamingo Fantasy line. This sounds a little funky but trust me it’s going to be AMAZING.

First thing to know about this line is it has the X3D pouch. My personally favorite pouch Ergowear makes. It’s ergonomically designed to fit a guy perfectly. Next is the fabric. This is what they say about it: “made using our ultra-soft, cotton-like Modal fabric, which is made from natural fibers, cellulose in this case (Viscose) and feature vibrant and sleek hues under the concept: Flamingo Fantasy, Part I.” I can’t wait to see part II

The line comes in three different styles and in three different colors. The colors are Dusk (pink flamingo), Olive, and Black. The styles are the Bikini, Thong and Mini Boxer. All three have an amazing fit. Yes, I LOVE the boxer briefs from Ergowear and highly recommend them.

Get these at either the Ergowear site or Candyman Fashion.
