Beware Of Where You Buy Your Undies!

Where do you shop for your underwear/swimwear? Do you buy directly from the manufacturer? From Amazon? How about eBay? If you answered yes to the latter, please read through to the end! I want to share a recent experience with you. First of all, I want everyone to be aware of all of the options we have in today’s age to buy ANYTHING we want online.

There are online underwear distributors, brick and mortar stores that sell online, and giant retailers (Amazon/eBay) that all sell underwear and swimwear at all different price points. All of these options have their specific pros and cons. If you buy directly from a manufacturer you may be able to sign up for some form of a rewards program. If you buy from Amazon and are a prime member, you’ll almost never pay for shipping. If you buy from an online store you may score some sweet deals on closeout products.

A few weeks ago I was browsing eBay for one of my favorite underwear brands when I saw a listing for a pair at a great price with free shipping. Additionally, the listing provided an option to “make an offer”, which I took advantage of. I made a lower offer than the asking price, which was quickly accepted. I waited a few days for the pair of underwear to arrive, carefully watching the tracking information online, and quickly opened the package once it arrived.

To my dismay, once I emptied the contents of the mailer envelope onto my bed, a simple printed invoice fell out along with a ziplock bag containing a pair of underwear emblazoned with the logo I am accustomed to seeing. I thought it was strange enough that I didn’t receive the normal manufacturer packaging that the underwear comes in, and even stranger when I removed the pair from the ziplock bag to examine closer. The underwear tag didn’t match the manufacturer! I quickly sent the eBay seller a message conveying my concern, and they quickly retorted with a “you should of read the listing closer” message and tried to pawn off the underwear as a product that was labeled differently as it had been packaged for international sale.

I did my research, and contacted the manufacturer (because I am an underwear reviewer right)? As I expected, the seller’s claim was bogus and the manufacturer stated the obvious-if you want an authentic product, make sure to buy it from the manufacturer’s website. Once again, I contacted the seller, explained that I had done some research and contacted the manufacturer, and indicated that I reviewed underwear. The seller immediately responded and told me that I was lying about being an underwear reviewer and made threats about reporting me for this or that on eBay.

I decided to just leave it alone and accept my losses. Until today-the seller sent me three more messages through eBay, making more and more threats, using profanity towards me (which is against eBay policy), and even using a number of racial and gender bashing slurs. My next course of action was to make another report to eBay who assured me that the seller had already been suspended from selling this item and if they continued to send me threatening messages their account would be terminated.

I have yet to see how this situation will conclude, but I felt that each of you should know how quickly an online transaction can change course. Please use good judgment when conducting online transactions, always deal with a reputable business, and use extreme caution when using platforms such as eBay, Craigslist, etc. There are too many variables in play to take chances dealing directly with another individual. Keep in mind that when you use a service like that, you typically make yourself vulnerable by either agreeing to provide your address or meet someone in person.

Above everything, I want everyone to be safe when you do your underwear shopping and not to put yourself in a bad position. Get your fight on with the AJ Team Wrestling Singlet

I LOVE singlets. I have for as long as I can remember. They have been sexy and super fun to me. If you are a fan of spandex and tight gear, I bet you are into them as well. One of the newest on the market is the American Jock AJ Team Wrestling Singlet. When I first saw this singlet, I knew It would be in my collection soon!

The reason I love this singlet is that it really mimics collegiate singlets. It mimics in color blog and size. Most fetish singlets are cut super low and can have strategic cut outs. Now, I love these as well but there is something to be said about the traditional collegiate singlet. I guess it leaves more to the imagination and shows off a guys body.

GoSoftwear site says this about the singlet: “This one piece is designed with spacious arm openings and a semi-scoop neck front as well as contrast color blocking for the ultimate sporty look.”

What can you do in a singlet? First, you can wrestle in it! This is one function that usually isn’t done when wearing singlets. Next, you can wear it to work out in. Some guys are wearing spandex to the gym. You can wear this as a tank under shorts or if you’re brave enough rock the full-on singlet in the gym. Another place you can wear it is to a bar. In my time I have seen guys wear them under jeans in the summertime. Lastly, there is another reason, a fun night inside. I don’t think I need to elaborate on that.

I may not be the biggest thong fan on the site but I am the biggest pouch fan on the site. I think the thong should always have an amazing pouch. Typeform Data Breech – UNB Forms Affected

This is not a post I thought I would ever post on UNB. We don’t collect info from our readers. That means we don’t have accounts on the log, track you guys or deal with sensitive information in any way. We do use third-party programs/apps that help us out. One of them that we have used in the past is TypeForm. They create forms we have used in polls and surveys. We had 5 forms compromised. Three of them didn’t have any identifiable information. We only asked questions and a pseudonym for posting a quote. However, our 2018 and 2017 Reader Survey forms were compromised. On these forms, we use email to limit voting once per day. They potentially got this info. Here is the statement from TypeForm.

We just received a message that Typeform had a data breach, which affected one (or more) of the typeforms we sent out. Typeform reports that an external attacker managed to get unauthorized access to respondent data and downloaded it.

The good news is that Typeform responded immediately and fixed the source of the breach to prevent any further intrusion.

If your name and email was downloaded by the attacker, then we recommend that you watch out for potential phishing scams, or spam emails. 

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.

We have since moved back to Google Forms for our upcoming Reader Survey and will be going back to them for all forms. I’m in the process of getting all the info off the TypeForm site and deleting the forms so this will not happen again. I’m not sure if you voted if your email was viewed by this third party.

We apologize for this but this was out of our control. If you didn’t vote in either award you are not affected by this issue. No other information such as credit card, names, or identifiable information was taken.

Be a Super-Ero In Gregg Homme

Gregg Homme never does “novelty” underwear. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t make fun underwear. One line that I liked when I saw it in Vegas is the Super-Ero line. This vibrant color blocking design is made with our exclusive super fine hyper stretch knit that is soft and slightly sheer. I mean, what would a fun pair at Gregg Homme be without some slightly sheer fabric?

The line comes in a Jock, String, Brief and thong. Which have been the standard styles in this year’s collection. The color block pattern focuses on three colors, Royal, Red, and Silver. My favorite is red!! The color block is the least on the jock and string. There is just a bit of contrasting color at the top of the pouch. The brief and thong both have a more defined color block.

One thing you might notice is the waistband or lack of waistband, in all but the jock. The brand in remaining three pairs is like a bikini waistband. A covered small waistband. Those who hate big waistband I think will love this line. It’s hard to believe but, there are readers who hate big waistband!

This is only the fourth range we are covering from the new Gregg Homme line. We will show the rest of the lines over the next two or so weeks. But if you can’t wait go to the Gregg Homme site and SHOP till you drop.

Lace and mesh and everything nice in the New Candyman

When you think of Candyman, what comes to mind? Mesh? Bright colors? Lace? Mix of masc and fem? Over the top designs? super fun? All those come to mind when I think of them. Over the years they have morphed into a brand that has no boundaries on masc/fem. There are no rules and they have firmly embraced this philosophy. More guys are loving this type of gear as well!

The new collection is even more “over the top” than previous ones. I know many of you are thinking how can this be possible, but just when you think it’s not possible they come up with some super amazing designs. I hear many guys asking “Who wears this stuff?” A lot of guys do and it’s not just gay and fem guys. All shapes and sizes, from muscle men to bears. All walks of life from the work room to the board room.

The new collection is divided up between lace, mesh, and denim. Denim in the smallest of the bunch, with just three pairs. A boxer brief, brief, and thong. The mesh is just what you expect from Candyman. There are cut outs and mesh panels used to show off every inch of your body. It has the traditional black but also some super fun colors.

The lace is the bulk of this collection. There are many new thongs, briefs, boy shorts and more. I would say my favorite pair is the new lace sided singlet. I saw it and immediately said WANT. One pair that is sure to turn heads (main pic) is the new lace pair with a built in garter. There are no stockings but it’s definitely inspired by the women’s lingerie industry. Last in this would be the new lace robe that you can pair with a black lace thong. It would be the perfect companion.

Evoke the new Gregg Homme

I hear many of you out there who will say “OMG basics are so freakin boring.” Well, that may be the case but, when Gregg Homme puts their spin on it, I think it will change your mind. So What do you get when Gregg Homme makes a mix of a basic line and a sports line. You get the Evoke line! As I say, basics are not boring at all. But, lets face it, Gregg Homme never does anything that isn’t sexy AF.

The New Evoke line has an amazing Austrian micro modal ribbed knit fabric. The fabric comes in three colors, Orange, Navy, and White. One thing that runs through all the pairs is the striped elastic. It’s bigger in the jock and boxer briefs. It’s pretty bold in those and it’s just around the legs. The waistband is a solid white. The smaller sizes have a much smaller striped elastic.

The styles are pretty much the standard for Gregg Homme. They are the jock, string, boxer brief, brief, and thong. Each one has the low key waistband. It’s low key for me since it’s white with black letters and the GH logo! The white is a perfect choice for against the bold colors.

Thong Thursday – Holy Moly from BodyAware

And now for something completely different! It’s Thong Thursday and why not have something different. Yes, it’s still a thong but a hybrid! The new Holy Moly Hybrid from BodyAware is part Thong and Part jock! Hybrids are nothing new in the world of underwear. It started with the Jock Brief and has morphed into so many other pairs.

The first thing you notice is the front is very much like a thong. The high cut sides and ample pouch will make this pair super comfy. When you head around back. that’s where you notice the hybrid The jockstraps are very much a jock brief look but in the middle is the thong strap. The two-tone colors will accentuate your assets as well.

The pair comes in two color combos. The first is the one pictured above, black and yellow. The white pair has white with peach accents. It’s hard for me to say which I like better. BodyAware is all about non-traditional colors in men’s underwear. They know how to make an incredible statement.
