New Soaked & Loaded collection has been released. This is the Basic & Sportive Swim Brief in Red. It’s available in six other colors! Find it at the ES Collection store!
We have to thank Steve Grand for doing this interview with us. He is an amazing guy to take time out of his busy schedule to answer these questions!
You are no stranger to swim briefs, you have posted a few pics in them on instagram. You look great in them. You are one of few public figures wearing them. How long have you been wearing them?
What makes you choose swim briefs over other types of swimwear?
I like wearing all kinds of swimwear. I think there is a time and place for it all. I like a nice, fitted, solid colored trunk when I’m in the mood for a more classic, stylish look. Other times, its summer in Chicago and I’m on the boats with my friends and it’s not so important for me to look stylish or modest. I wear a higher cut brief because I like the way I look and feel in them. I do it for myself. I have a rectangular shaped body, meaning that my shoulders, hips, and waist are all about the same size. I may be totally wrong on this, but higher cut briefs seem to help give me some shape and separation between my torso and my legs. My upper thighs are pretty large, so wearing a high cut brief seems to help to emphasize my legs and detract from my wide hips. But I’m no expert on this, it can just be my own warped perception causing me to see myself this way lol.
Has your celebrity status ever made you think twice about wearing a swim brief in pubic?
Well I’m not sure I can be considered a celebrity at this level, but yes, to some small degree I’m a public figure. I’m aware that, when I wear that kind of swimwear, there is potential for some of the blogs to pick it up, and most of the time I’m not looking for all that kind of attention specifically so it probably does, to some degree, factor in
to my decision to wear briefs, but at the end of the day, I still have to live my life and sometimes just do what I want without worrying about what other people may say.
How do you feel about the media coverage you receive when you post a pic in a brief?
It’s all in good fun and I don’t take it too seriously. I don’t ask anyone to post those kinds of things but it does create the possibility that someone, who was unaware of me before, ends up becoming a fan, buys music, and attends a live performance, which is how I make money to eat and pay my bills. So I have to be happy for that reason.
Though one probably wouldn’t draw this conclusion if their only source of information about me is some of these sites, I’ve done more interesting things (I think) in these last 2 years than stand on a boat in a little bathing suit with my friends: I have managed to carve my own unique path as an out artist by jump-starting my career with a self-produced, self-financed viral music video. I have since traveled all over the world to perform my original music and giving talks on LGBTQ issues. I’ve been on national television multiple times. I have been interviewed by people like Larry King. I ran the 3rd most successful music Kickstarter of all time. My independently released debut album “All-American Boy” sold over 10,000 copies in the first week and made it the 3rd best selling independent album that week. Best of all, I have been able to connect with people in the unique way only singer/songwriters can. I have sat with the people who have been moved and positively affected by my presence as an out artist making the kind of music I do.
I don’t expect most people to care about any of that, but for those of you at all interested in any part of my journey, I suggest you follow me on my social media accounts (listed below). You will get a more accurate, multi-dimensional look at my life and work that way. :
In your pictures I think one of the briefs was Andrew Christian, do you have any favorite brands you like to wear?
I like all different kinds! I haven’t received any compensation or cross promotion for the brands I’ve worn, but maybe I should start, with all the press this has gotten 😉
Has anyone in social media or in person giving you a hard time about wearing them, either in general or in public?
I try not to pay too much attention. At some point in life it’s important to realize that no matter what you do, people are going to have something to say about it so you may as well do/wear what makes you happy. I’ve seen a small number of gay men criticize my choice of swimwear for being immodest and ‘stereotypically gay.’ People are entitled to feel however they feel, but again, I wear what I wear for me and not for them; because it makes me feel good. I’m not looking for everyone’s approval all of the time. There is a time and place for modesty, but, for me at least, a hot summer day in Chicago, on a boat with a bunch of other gay dudes is not one of them. And frankly I don’t care what some may consider to be a gay stereotype or not, and anyone using that as some kind of jab is probably grappling with their own internalized homophobia. I wear what makes me happy.
What would you say to a guy who maybe on the fence on wearing them? Should he or shouldn’t he?
I would say: do what makes you happy and don’t be so worried about everyone else. Remember that everyone is far more concerned with what is going on in their own world than what you are wearing. Some people like them, and some people don’t. I think because it has traditionally been seen as a taboo, the guys that do wear them, and wear them well, are seen to be more confident. And confidence always makes a person more sexy.

It’s always sad to see a company close up shop in the world of underwear. The world of men’s underwear really is a small world. Everyone tends to know everyone at brands and stores. It is for the most part a friendly world. I never thought there would come a time when there wouldn’t be an UnderGear
It started back in the 70’s when the International Male catalogue was released. If you didn’t come of age in the 80’s you may not know the International Male. It was the main catalogue that had clothes and underwear. Some of the clothes were a bit out there, like the pirate shirt! But it always had, for the time, a bigger selection of underwear. This was way before the internet made underwear super easy to buy. Back in the day you had to call in and order or mail it in the order form if you were shy.
Also in the 80’s International Male used to have a physical store in California. I used to think of going to California and shopping the store and how that would be so awesome to shop all the designs I see in person. I never made it to the store and it would be many years before I finally got to California.
International Male finally created the UnderGear catalogue that sold exclusively underwear and gear! I remember them announcing this and it was like I won the lottery! Here is this company devoting an entire catalogue to my love! What was not to like about this. I tried to find when it split off but was unable to find the exact year. But if I remember correctly it was in the 90’s.
Undergear/International Male used to be the main place to find new brands. Some of the brands I found through them were Mundo Unico, Go Softwear, and the list goes on. It was a big deal to be carried in the UnderGear catalogue. In the 90’s they carried big brands as well as their own brands. Recently much of what they carried was their own brands and just a few outside brands at the end. I can’t tell you how many new brands I found through them. It was the enabler to my underwear addiction!
You maybe asking how much of an underwear obsession I had back in the day. Well I’m not ashamed to admit this but I had and International Male credit card! Yes there were such things back in the day. I couldn’t have been more than 18 and had a $200 limit! It felt like I struck gold, here was this credit card just for gear! I used to place orders about every month, pay it down and charge it back up!
After I started UNB I got a chance to work with UnderGear. They were fun to work with and I enjoyed it. We did many reviews and profiles of their underwear. I was closest to them when I first started UNB. But over the years I could still contact them and get info I needed.
Will I miss them? You bet I will! Its hard to see them go after so many years. Underwear is my passion and it’s like a friend that leaving us. Whether you liked their gear or not they had a huge impact on the world of men’s underwear/gear. Without them being a trailblazer for men’s underwear we may not have some of what we have today!
If you do miss them let us know. I want to run a post on how UnderGear impacted your underwear buying and discovery. Email us or hit us up on social media!
NOTE: I haven’t heard any confirmation as to when they will be closing. I haven’t confirmed with them directly all my contacts are gone but all my sources have agree and Out Magazine has run a story about them closing

Garçon Model sent us a ton of pics. We love it when they send real guys taking selfies in their underwear! This is one of the latest pics!
Should I? We’ve all said it, whether while standing in a great underwear store or clicking through pages online. Should I? I mean, I’ll NEVER actually wear it. Will I? I just don’t see the point if I’m not going to use it. Right?
All I will say is: If you get it, you’ll find a reason, a time, an occasion to wear em if you want to.
Sometimes we come across those pairs, the leather straps, the unsupportive mesh the zippers that we secretly want to have even if it’s just to have it. One of the first pairs like that for me was a leather jockstrap with a zipper right down the pouch. I don’t remember the brand, I don’t remember where I got it and sadly, I don’t have that pair anymore. Did I ever find a time to wear it? You bet I did.
Deciding to buy a piece of what might be called fetish or erotic wear comes down to the same thing as any high quality underwear. Will it make YOU the wearer, feel good? If it will make you feel sexy, then forget about the potential viewer. Forget about a potential situation. If it gives you a spring in your step then it’s 100% worth it. This is about you and what makes YOU feel hotter than the sun.
For those who are really concerned about the usefulness…if there is a willy there is a way-y. Fetish wear or leather is not something that everyone uses or incorporates into their every day or their bedroom time, that’s okay. That does not mean, however, that you shouldn’t let yourself try owning one. Should I? Will I? Right? It’s okay to just, have it. To know that it’s there in a drawer and then one day you’ll mention it to your date, spouse, significant other, as a joke and the joke will become real and even if it’s just for that one time, worth it.
To date I have a handful of those pairs and I like having them. I have some black all mesh Male Basics briefs. I have a Petite-Q c-string. I have a generic zippered speedo. I have a blue and white Pulse jockstrap with mesh pouch, and more. Have I ever used any of them as regular underwear or to spice things up? Absolutely. Do I use them or wear them very often? Absolutely not. But I could, because I have them.
Should you? Sure, why not! Find one that the thought of having secretly excites you and then muster the courage and get it.
So if you’re thinking that Fetish Friday isn’t for you, it could be if you let it.

Cellblock 13 has literally ambushed Jockstrap Central with the arrival of their latest super hot collection of fetish forward jockstraps, shorts and singlets complete with contoured pouches and fully functional, “easy access” zippers, strategically placed in all the right areas. Made with a high quality sleek soft and super stretchy nylon and spandex designed to hug and stretch enough to show off your body and bulge to perfection. The Ambush Collection stays true to Cellblock 13’s masculine fetish roots, which guarantees that whatever you’re concealing always has the element of surprise.![]()
The jockstrap is the simplest of the designs with the above mentioned contoured pouch, contrasting piping around the outside and fully functional vertical zipper which not only reinforces the bulge but provides easy access (or exit). With two one inch jock “straps” round the back and a full two inch masculine waistband with horizontal sports stripping and bold Cellblock 13 logo.![]()
Our favorite, the Ambush Wrestling Singlet has a base color of black and starts at the shoulders and swoops down in a dangerous descent to the treasure chest below – the low rise zippered pouch is highlighted with white piping around the edge in case you didn’t know where to look. Around the back you’ll find a contrasting rear panel with another handy centered vertical zipper. The visual is stunning and even more so when unzipped.![]()
Similarly, the Ambush Short is a low rise bicycle short with legs that end just above the knee. Like the singlet, white piping edge the zippered pouch. Around the back you’ll find a rear panel also with contrasting piping complete with another centered vertical zipper that let’s guys know whether or not you’re open for business.![]()
If the body and bulge hugging spandex doesn’t get you noticed then simply unzip to ambush them with a full frontal (and rear) assault. A line like Ambush is a perfect fit for Jockstrap Central with their we-show-everything stance, uncensored original photography and never-shy models. Be sure to check them out.

Its Thong Thursday and I have 5 suggestions to make it a fun day! You maybe going, “Yeah but you’re a big thong lover.” I’m not one who normally wears thongs.” You would be wrong! I love underwear and briefs are my favorite thing. But, there are several thongs I love and would recommend for Thong Thursday

When you take it out for the first time you will go “No way that will fit me.” The fabric will stretch and feel amazing all day. Available in 10 colors and retails for $26.95
2(X)ist Essential Y Back Thong – This is the classic thong when I think of thongs! This was one of the first thongs I ever bought. The Y-Back design is super comfortable and fits amazing. Made out of cotton with a great pouch. Available in a two pack either white or black. Retails for $22
N2N Bodywear Vintage G – The vintage collection from N2N has become a favorite. The super soft fabric feels amazing against your skin. Kiniki Henley Classic Thong –A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of trying Kikini for the first time in a few years. Their thongs come in amazing prints. I won’t go into all the great things about Kiniki thongs but you can read the review I did! If you are a fan of prints this is the line for you. I choose the Henley but you can go with any one of them because I couldn’t pick them all! Retails for £15.90
Cocksox CX05 Thong – The last thong I recommend trying is the Cocksox thong. Why? Because just about anything from them makes me feel super sexy. Its especially good at showing off the front and the back! The last reason I love it is the supplex fabric they use in their underwear. Its soft, conforms to your body and holds up great! So it’s a win-win in the thong department. Available in 7 colors and retails for $25.00.
Here are some recommendations for Thong Thursday. I’d love to hear your favorite thongs and why you love them!
Check out this new company out of Berlin. Its a new line of organic underwear! Here is some info on this new an amazing brand:
G&A – ORG&ANIC INNERWEAR is a sustainable organic underwear label for males from Berlin, Germany. We showcased the first collection at the Ethical Fashion Show during the Berlin Fashion Week from 8th till 10th of July 2015.
G&A produces and distributes sustainable underwear made from organic cotton with respect and responsibi- lity for Mother Earth and in a socially responsible and fair manner. Designed in Berlin and produced in India, our products create the sexy alternative for all those out to save the world.
G&A – No Guilt Inside
WHY ORGANIC COTTON
About 25 percent of the world’s insecticide use and more than 10 percent of the world’s pesticide goes to cotton crops. In 2003, that amounted to about 55 million pounds of pesticides being sprayed on 12.8 million acres of cotton, according to the Organic Trade Association. Some of these chemicals are considered to be the most toxic chemicals in the world. The health risks of pesticide exposure include birth defects, reproductive disorders and weaker immune systems.
In many countries, cotton is still hand picked; therefore anyone working in those fields is exposed to extreme amounts of toxic chemicals. The chemicals can also affect others in the community once they have seeped into the water supply. With so many products made from cotton, we are all exposed to these chemicals at some point. Even some baked goods, cookies and salad dressing contain cottonseed.
S.O.S – SUSTAINABLE · ORGANIC · SEXY
With our products you don’t have to choose between sustainability and sexiness, we aim for both. G&A means lifestyle for underneath, on top, indoors and outdoors – so go and get busy. With our fair and socially and eco- logically responsible underwear you can „guiltlessly“ set off on any adventure or simply live your day-to-day life – thanks to the “peace-of-mind effect” that saves you from a guilty conscience…
TRANSPARENZ
Transparency is important for us. We regularly travelled to India for two years to find the right partners. Trust plays an important role. All producers along the supply chain work according to the GOTS standard and most of them also hold other certifications. We can provide our buyers and partners with these standards and certifications.
The motto of our partner Pranav Khanna (founder and owner of frajorden) has inspired and motivated us. We respond to his appeal: change is simple – be the change!
THE CONCEPT
Buy less, but buy the right things. G&A has developed a collection of fourteen different underpants – enough to meet the needs of all men, whether they are saviours of the world, fetish lovers or heroes – but, boys, please wash them every so often – thanks! Act with sustainability in mind but still be sexy.

In addition to sustainability, what’s important for us is to treat our staff fairly and in a socially responsible way while paying them fair wages.
#SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We support the NGO „Voice of the Poor“ in Kolkata and also two kids of families in need. G&A covers all school fees, the educational materials and meals. We constantly communicate with the kids and their families, regularly visit them and spend unforgettable moments together.

Well, actually, mostly all briefs and a few jockstraps but the word play was just too tempting. Hi! My name is Tim and on Twitter I tweet under the name @underloverwear. I have been in love with higher end underwear ever since I would sneak the Nordstroms catalog into my bedroom and stare at the models, even in tightie whities. When I was 13 I bought my first pair of Calvin Klein, black, hip briefs and my obsession was sealed. Generally I sway towards fun, bright briefs and very supportive, active jockstraps but I try to have a good sample of everything.
A few years ago I got to live out one of my dreams and moved oversees for a year, to France. Oh la la, c’est vrai. I had studied French throughout college and this was the perfect time in life to get some travelling under my belt. I took a position with the French Education Ministry to teach English in Normandy for 8 months. It was the perfect chance to get long term paperwork to live in France and have a small bit of income coming in throughout the time there.
Now, this was not my first in Europe or in France. I can say that I definitely have a pair of cute trunks with the French tricolor (their flag) on my ass. When I was in my “home town” of Caen I tried to go underwear shopping. The mission was not going super well and I bounced between stores for a better part of the afternoon before settling on a sheer black bikini from HOM Chic. It was by chance that I picked up a French brand among all of the offerings.
Then it hit me, underwear was a perfect souvenir. Sure one can always pick up some cute knick-knacks and take tons of photos but underwear is interactive and special. It gives you that extra bounce in your step and can be kept as that day’s little secret. So why not have it remind you of an amazing trip, a fun city, a moment in time?
For the rest of my year living and teaching in France I tried to travel a lot. Hitting two different locations or countries every time I had a two week break. First up, Ireland. I am IN love with Dublin and now I have a Modus Vivendi green jockstrap to remind me of the streets of Temple Bar, of meeting new friends at The George, and taking a bus out to Glendaloche. Also, it makes my ass look amazing.
I was not always able to find countries or cities with local or native underwear companies so. In the case of Ireland, I tried to tie it together some other way (green might be cliché but that’s okay with me). Edinburgh is thought of every time I slip into my (slightly small) black briefs with bright orange trim.
And not only is having the underwear great but buying it is too. Generally I would find the “gay” neighborhood or street or area of the city, if there was one, and explore if they had any underwear or even sex items shop, since they often have a small selection of undies in them. Cities like London, Paris, and Berlin these were easily spotted and explored. Other cities like Dublin and Stockholm did not seem to have them. In these instances I would turn to the dreaded department store to browse the racks of universally sold underwear from big names.
In one instance a guy on Grindr directed me to an underground sex store in Stockholm that had a small wall of undies. I checked it out but in the end decided to go with Sweden’s own Bjorn Borg for good measure. Most times that I would ask guys on Grindr if there were any specific stores to go to. I would get a very typical response that they just go to the big box stores or they buy them online.
Sometimes, like with England (London specifically) I went with a native brand, SURKEW, and scored even bigger because it used the good ole Union flag as the pattern. In Berlin I got a mesh pair of briefs that I was not 100% in love with, so what did I do? I bought my first ever singlet. Now I will never forget Berlin.
As mentioned, London, Paris, and Berlin had huge selections, multiple stores, and pairs for days! Browsing through selections was so much fun. Brands from home that I love, like Timoteos and Jack Adams, weren’t found much over there. I got introduced more to Addicted and ES3. It was fun to see the difference in brands. In some places (cough, Germany, cough) had a wider selection of kinky or fetish themed underwear.
I mostly stuck to my favorites with briefs and jockstraps. In France, I tried some new ones too. I picked up a grey swim thong with orange piping and a black and maroon square cut jockstrap just to try something a bit new. You never know what you might like if you don’t try.
My friends rolled their eyes at me when I told them of my souvenir plan. But I honestly can’t think of a better way to commemorate a trip. Without trying to sound too hokey. every time I step into those undies, I step back in time and think about that year, that trip, that place and that pair of underwear gives me an extra spring in my step that day.
So what all ended up in the Souvenir Trunk:
- Dublin: Green Modus Vivendi Jockstrap
- Edinburgh: Black and Orange hip briefs BRAND
- Stockholm: Multi color Bjorn Borg trunks
- Berlin: Andrew Christian black mesh briefs, BRAND assless singlet
- Paris: Addicted Jockstrap, BRAND Jockstrap, BRAND swim thong, Sheer HOM Chic bikini
- London: SURKEW Union flag trunk with peek a boo hole
- Boston (on my way home to Seattle): Lavender Calvin Klein Steel briefs

Let’s face it how many of us actually look forward to Monday? Anyone? I didn’t think so, no one is happy for Monday to come rolling around. Many of us spend the weekends in our swim briefs by a pool/beach or lake. Others to out to Fetish nights and wear the stuff we wish we could wear during the week. Lastly there are those who just want to hang in their undies all weekend and relax.
We have a blast over the weekend and then reality makes us come crashing back to earth to be a responsible adult again. So what are we to do? We want to start #undiesmondays. Which is to wear a fun pair of underwear every Monday. Fun depends on your definition. It could be a thong, trunk, bikini or anything that makes you feel awesome. This pair could be something you may not wear a regular basis or one of your favorites.
We all know great underwear gives you a bit of confidence. It can change your mood and put a smile on your face. We hear many of you guys with similar stories all the time, so why not start doing this every Monday. It will give us something to look forward to on Monday morning.
Starting next Monday Tweet us or Instagram us with hashtag #undiesmondays and tell us what you are wearing!
Have you seen the crochet jocks made by Crochet Empire? This picture features Brian Naas in the jock and bow ties! They do really fun jocks! Make sure you check them out!
I’ve had the pleasure of getting my feet wet here at UNB by reviewing the Marcuse United Brief in blue. I was excited to try these because I don’t own any Marcuse and thought the style and colors of their line would be right up my alley. The United comes in 8 different colors individually ($13.13 USD) or you can buy a box set of all 8 together. ($74.13 USD)
I chose a relatively lazy but hot Los Angeles Sunday to try these out to be on the safe side. After cleaning the house a bit, lounging in front of the TV and walking a few blocks to go eat dinner, I have to say they held up well. They were even my PJs for the night. They stayed in place, were comfortable and I feel would be a good choice for everyday underwear. They would not be my first pick for a really active day or the gym. I think the pouch was a bit too snug and I prefer a
spandex/microfiber fabric that dries easily for really sweaty days.
I am a 31-32 waist so I go between small and medium depending on the brand. This pair was a medium (which says it fits 32-34) and I’m glad that’s what I received! Based on their size chart, a small would be my usual choice but they wouldn’t have fit. I definitely recommend going up a size – especially if you need more room in certain areas…
I loved the styling and royal blue color with the white contrast trim around the legs and down the sides of the front panel. The Marcuse waistband with a red stripe and their logo written in rubberized lettering (air dry – no dryer). There is a fun, little button on the fly which is functional if you aren’t a “pull ‘em down” type in the bathroom. The material is nice and soft (95% cotton) with a good amount of stretch (5% elastane). The only area I would have liked to see a difference in would be the pouch, or lack thereof. The briefs fit well but don’t leave much room up front so everything was a bit squished. I’m not a fan of “show it” pouches but definitely appreciate a little extra space for my package. The back is cut smaller than classic briefs, which I love because I’m not too well endowed in the back. For guys with a real bubble butt, this would probably just barely cover everything, which isn’t always a negative. 🙂
Wearing the United brief has definitely piqued my interest in Marcuse as a brand and I will absolutely try more in the future. Overall, a great first experience as an underwear reviewer (my dream job)!
PROS

We all have those long shot dreams that we don’t ever really think will come true. For me, that was becoming some kind of underwear model. Let’s face it, I hate the gym and work out very reluctantly, I don’t have an athletic build or a classically handsome face. The dream was never going to happen.
That love and long shot dream started when I was 13 years old and would sneak clothing catalogs into my bedroom to look at the underwear section. I did not know why or what it was about them, but I was captivated. I would see those men in the catalogs and I somehow wanted to be like them, in any small way.
I grew up in a very conservative household where things weren’t flashy, tight, or sexy. Things were very traditional, expected, and plain. Except…for my new, secret underwear collection that all started with a pair of Calvin Klein hip briefs. The packaging caught my eye for how they cut across the thigh, how they formed a well-rounded bulge, and how bold the black was. After a few more pairs of Armani Exchange and Tommy I bought a grey, Calvin Klein thong. The obsession and slight rebellion was in full force.

What was it about the underwear? No one besides me ever saw it. Heck, when your first kiss doesn’t come until you’re 18, it’s not like your seductively pulling down your pants for a captivate audience.
What was it? It was my secret, move over Victoria these were mine. Sitting just under my clothes these well-made, sultry undies hugged my lil bum and supported everything that needed it but more than that, they made me happy. Really happy. It made me smile in secret, it made me feel attractive, attractive! I was a goofy looking kind, big nose, straw hair, slightly gangly, just about average height but underneath I had a secret weapon.
The obsession grew and grew.
In college I branched out from my safe, known brands and into new and exciting territories. I started to get Andrew Christians, 2xist, Diesel, Aussie Bum, and Timoteo. At the time I would always go for regular briefs or trunks. I don’t mind trunks but briefs, and later jockstraps and thongs, are what really excite me when it comes to different cuts.
I was in love with the colors, the styles, the design and the feel. Knowing that at any moment I could slip out of my pants and be rocking some cute baby blue Diesel briefs or bulging out in some white lined red Andrew Christians.
And then one day, I snapped a photo. *click*
These days who hasn’t taken a “naked selfie” or in my case an “undies selfie”? They were happening way before camera phones and I’m sure they will continue with whatever technology comes next. The camera phone and subsequent smart phone sure did make them easy. I wanted to share my picture. Not just with a few close guy friends but I wanted people to see it because I felt SO attractive, so cute, so proud of myself in those photos and believe me, I had a few photos to share.
Twitter. The first time I launched @underloverwear on Twitter just last summer I started with a simple tweet: For my first tweet I thought a thong would be good #underwear #manthong. With a photo of my backside and a classic cut, teal, Andrew Christian thong. In my mind, the world exploded at that instant. Seeing as I only had 7 or 10 followers by that time I was blown away that it got retweeted almost 20 times and liked almost twice as much.
Thus, my tweeting began. I would post every few days and tried to find all of the brands and other enthusiasts to follow. Sometimes a photo would hit it big and I would be lifted even higher that day. Other times photos would sit there with just a little attention, but that was okay. It was all fun and apart of this new, uncharted adventure.
I kept my face out of the photos for the beginning until some fun, fellow tweeter @Chase_Z91 told me how much more personality my photos had with all of me in it. Sure, the photos of my bum had always been the most popular but now when I would post a frontal photo with my smiling or smirking face, people noticed. From there I was shocked and humbled by the numbers of likes, retweets, and followers. I never thought it would get anywhere near 300, or 500, or 1000, or 2000 like it has.
So, maybe it’s not the same as being that guy in the catalogs that I used to sneak into my bedroom. And maybe it’s not the same as actually working as an underwear model. And maybe it will all end tomorrow. But it has helped fulfill that long shot, impossible dream of mine and I am excited with each and every post. I’ve amassed a small collection of around 200 pairs of underwear and each and every one of them gives me the ability to be, in a small way, like those underwear models I used to see in the catalogs and let me share what was once just my secret.
