It’s Jockstrap Wednesday. Today we feature the El Rey jock/ mirrored Harness from Raw Studio Designs.

I”m reusing the image from this weekend because this post contains information that Twitter deems is “against their TOS.” Which are total BS and a desperate attempt to hang on to people. No matter what happens with the dumpster fire that is Twitter (rumors I have seen on Twitter are investors are telling a certain billionaire he needs to step down and appoint an adult as CEO).
We have never had a home that could be ours. Every time we get an amiable underwear space, it gets taken away. I’m looking at you Tumblr. However, Tumblr is back and allowing NSFW content, just not porn. I came up with an infographic you can look at the four places I have considered going. The good and the bad of each.

This is by no means the end-all-be-all list. If you are familiar with these and I have something wrong, let me know so I can fix it. I use some of these sites I”m learning as well.
The site I am leaning toward the most is Hive. The first reason it seems to be a mix of Twitter and Instagram. It’s super easy to use, and you don’t have to do a lot to sign up. Lastly, it’s very welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community on the front discover page; it has a section for the community. I know Hive had some issues and was down for a few days this month. They are a super small team and are growing fast. Over the last few updates, the app has sped up, and it seems to be on the right track. I haven’t created accounts for the UNB Blog and UNB Store yet, but I’m debating my strategy.
I said it before, and I’ll say it again we need an underwear social media place we can connect. The sucky part of this is that we seem to be splintering and unsure where our online buds are going. The new TOS violation of linking seems A. Anti=competitive and B. are desperate.
I created a page here to link to all the UNB Social media accounts and mine. I plan on adding more for the podcast guys and this will be a place for you to find us where ever we go. Plus, there is always the blog, and I’ll try to write updates as I can.

I am not a fan of most boxer briefs. However, the Bikers from N2N Bodywear are the exception to that rule. These pairs it’s all about the pouch. The bikers have some of the most amazing pouches. Plus can you go wrong with pink!!!

One Brand I am looking forward to seeing their new collection in 2023 is JOR. In the last few years, JOR has created some incredible pairs on the market. The first thing that caught my eye was the cuts (such as bikinis and smaller styles), and the second was the bright, bold colors and prints. They are making some of the hottest pairs on the market, and can’t wait to see more!

Every year Ergowear releases their Long Johns/Compression tights. Until this year, I was under the impression that these were just long johns. But NO! They are also compression gear for the gym. My mind was blown. Two of the three pics I received are of the model working out.
This collection features the Max pouch. One thing about Ergowear is that you will show off your goods while wearing these compression tights. At the same time, they are made for ergonomic reasons (and they feel and fit great). It may be a little much for a gym. It will depend on the gym as to where you can wear these.
Here are some of the features of the Max XX Pouch Leggings

If you want to stay warm with a fantastic pouch and incredible fabric, then the Max XX is for you. Check out all three colors for 2022.

Sharing our love of underwear, swimwear, and gear at the best of times can be difficult. How many out there have had posts removed, accounts suspended, or even deleted? Mix in the current dumpster fire that is Twitter, and this makes connecting with others and sharing our love of gear much harder. There is a lot I want to say on this topic, and I will do an editor’s desk podcast this weekend and put it out for everyone.
Why is this important?
There are very few places we can go and share openly without violating TOS on services. This includes everyday guys, brands, and stores. It’s frustrating sometimes because even promoting the blog has gotten me into trouble with many social media sites. Adding in the UNB Store complicates issues even more. The last time I was in Vegas, I attended some marketing seminars for small online stores, and 75% of the ideas were ones we couldn’t use in underwear. Why should we water down what we want to promote to suit someone else? We want to normalize underwear.
Where do we go?
When Twitter was sold, I didn’t think it would change much. It’s been two months since the buyout, and things keep getting more chaotic. People are starting to leave and go to other places. It’s sad because it’s been a relatively safe space to share NSFW pics and connect on Twitter (outside of the profile pics and avatars, which UNB was hit for this “violation”). Where do we go? Tumblr is now letting you put up NSFW content again, but no sex acts. Hive is a new service with growing pains, but it seems open and ready to use. Mastodon has been around for. Few years but the learning curve to set up seems odd (I’m setting up an account now).
I’m doing a poll. If you are either leaving Twitter or looking for a backup option just in case, where are you going? I want to create a hub here where I can share info on where guys are going and hopefully find your undies buddies another service should something happen. Take the survey Below

Who loves mixing super bright underwear under their clothes? Codd 22 put this pic out and it so is something I would do. This features Stretch Shirt + Neo Mesh Brief + Cargo Short. The color of this brief just POPS.

I LOVE singlets!! In fact, I just recorded a singlet show before I wrote this up. This singlet is one of the newest, and the design is impressive. My friend from Australia, Mr. Jets, sent me the image of this singlet, and I was blown away. Timoteo’s Cellblock is no stranger to singlets, but this one has a great new addition. This singlet has a Snap Front Singlet w/ Zipper Back.

The singlet comes in four striking colors. Purple (at the top), red, grey, and Blue. Each one has a black/white strip down the removable pouch. I think the purple pops the most but go with your favorite color.
This is what the Timoteo website says about the singlet.
All New ALL ACCESS Snap Front Singlet w/ Zipper Back is sure to become a hit with human pups and their handlers. Featuring a new graphic pup detail, this sexy singlet is available in 4 fetishy colorways that will make your tail wag. The stretchy, tight fitting nylon/spandex fabric clings to your body perfectly, and the added detachable front pouch and functional zipper in back gives ’em complete and convenient access (including tails). Perfect for mosh pits, wrestling and hot fetish play.
I know what many out there could be thinking. I’m not into puppy play, so I don’t know if I will get this singlet. This singlet is one I think you can wear without being into it. Puppy Play is not my thing but I would love to rock this singlet.
PAIR: Cellblock 13 ALL ACCESS ZIPPER SINGLET W/ POUCH
COLORS: Purple, Red, Grey, and Blue
SIZES: Small – XX-Large
FABRIC: 90% Polyester, 10% Spandex
PRICE: $86

When you think of long johns, do you think of the old out dated bulky ones we had as kids? Well, that isn’t the case these days. Ergowear has new leggings/long johns that fit amazingly and look incredible. Get them before they are gone.

We take you back to 2015 for our TBT featuring Timoteo’s holiday undies featuring this festive holiday plaid. Do you remember this pair from seven years ago.
The JOR 2022-2 collection is a tribute to Mexican culture and its
Day of the Dead celebration. According to tradition, on that day, the veil that separates the world of the living and the world of the dead is opened so that both can share, honoring and remembering our ancestors and loved ones who have already left this world.
Catrinas, Flowers and Skulls, make up our prints. The predominant colors are green
and the Orange.
A magical, colorful and fun world is what we propose in this collection

Looking for something festive for this holiday season? Check out the latest from 2(X)IST, the Velvet line in some of your favorite styles including a brief, bikini, and trunk. Perfect for wearing under your suit for any holiday party.

If you had told me that Twitter would have so many issues so fast, I would have said you were crazy. But here we are. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding social media sitesitesdon’t think they will crash and burn (well, It could; I’ve been wrong so far), but we are branching out to other social sites. It’s slow going it’s just me but stick with us.
Tumblr
Tumblr allows you to post nudity and adult content again, just not sex! Which is good for us because we have issues posting on IG and Facebook. The network may eventually tie into Mastadon, but we’ll see. I have the UNB Store and Blog on Tumblr. I may combine them into one to make it easier.
Follow UNB Blog – https://www.tumblr.com/unbblog
Follow UNB Store – https://www.tumblr.com/unbstore
Reddit is one that I am least familiar with and has a less significant learning curve. We have a blog and store online community. If anyone has advice and such about Reddit, please reach out. I’m figuring it out and string to be a good Reddit citizen.

Hive
Hive is a Twitter alternative that many of their underwear boys have gone to after issues with Twitter. One thing to know is Hive doesn’t have a web interface, and you have to access it through their app. It’s simple to use and has the slightest learning curve. I only created an account for myself currently, so look for me there.

For the last few years, I have been impressed with JOR. They are making underwear for guys who love bikinis/thongs, those who love briefs, and those who love trunks. I hope they keep up this trend and keep making some of the hottest undies on the market.

To me, swimming laps and laying out on a beach are two separate things. Laying out and hanging at the beach, I want a pair of swimwear that’s comfortable, colorful, and just fun. While for swimming laps, I want a pair of swimwear that is functional and durable.
I’m about to return to swimming again and have been looking for swimwear perfect for the gym. The classic Speedo is top of my list. These swim briefs are tight and worn in a chlorinated pool several times. Plus, more guys also look great in the classic Speedo cut. I’m not talking about the Solar brand, but the 3-inch side swim briefs.
Speedo has upped its game in the design department. They have always had some funky prints, but now they are using bold and fun color block prints. They even did a Pride line as well! I love their swimsuits and have since I tried my first one on when I was 14.
Other brands that I love are TYR, Nike, and Arena. Each of these is a brand you have seen on college and Olympic Swimmers. I rarely wear something from many of the brands we cover here to wear for laps. They make me feel less of a swim jock (well, I’m not a jock in any way, shape or form, but I feel like one when I wear these to the pool).

Briefs Vs. Jammers
On the beach, I’m 100% for the swim Briefs; however, I am torn between the Briefs vs. Jammers in swimming. Jammers are the bike short-looking swimwear that most Olympic swimmers wear now. You can wear swim briefs under a jammer, but that’s too much for me to wear swimming.
Jammers are fun; more guys would wear them over a brief swim. When I start back, I will be wearing the Jammers. I feel I’m a little too big to just jump in the pool in just a Speedo.

Sparta’s Harness is a fetish brand that doesn’t play by the rules. I mean, look at these harnesses and jocks. They feature pink. In the world of fetish, everything should be black or dark colors. Sparta turns fetishwear on its head and mixes fun colors like yellow/pink, and blue/pink.
MODUS VIVENDI presents Vinyl Line and the “Curious & Curiouser” Campaign inspired by Alice in Wonderland in an expressionistic version.
December 2022. Curious & Curiouser
We present Vinyl Line and it’s coming fresh. A campaign from Joey Leo (@_joeyleo_) with the model Thanos Adamopoulos (@thanosadamopouloss) under the fashion direction of Stefanos Kapsalis (@stefano_kap).
Being Curious is the driving force of exploring the world around you. Being Curiouser is the power of exploring the whole universe demanding for more knowledge, experiences and fascination…
Just as our Vinyl Line is meant to give you the power to experience the world and accompany your journey on your way to captivate the universe with your personal style

Soft like angora, being caressed and cradled by feathers… that’s the NEW decadent LUSH COLLECTION. Once you experience the “feel” of this sumptuously sexy fabric no matter the style, you will fall in love.

Xtremen is known for its sexy designs and super fun styles. The brand initially started out as all boxer briefs but has morphed into a brand not afraid to bring the sexy to men’s underwear. This new collection builds on previous collections. It is full of jocks, thongs, and bikinis in various fabrics and colors. While they still have boxer briefs, it’s no longer the focus of this brand.
Part one of the 2023 Collection is out now. It’s a small drop, but we will see the rest of the pairs in January. But here is a preview of some of the pairs yet to come. One I am super excited about is the pouch bikini they have coming. It looks amazing. I was so disappointed when I searched for it, and it’s not out yet. UGH, but it will be out soon.
In the mean time to check out the new Xtremen collection at the UNB Store

One brand you need on your holiday wish list is Timoteo/Cellblock 13/Vaux. These are the Brands that Timoteo has currently! Each one has some amazing pairs that range from a little more classic to full-on fetish. Go shop the Timoteo site.
Top up your game and breeze through the competition with the Sports X collection. Available in crew neck t-shirts, sports tanks and mesh jerseys. Shop at Supawear.

I’m joined by Patrick where we have a talk about normalizing underwear. We talk about normalizing undies with kids, friends, family and more. It shouldn’t be a taboo thing we should hide from all those people and we both think we need to start having conversations about great underwear and more.
Give it a listen.
