2(X)ist is one of the mainstays of men’s underwear. They were around at the start of the men’s underwear revolution. Each year they continue to do great collections and make amazing underwear. This week they redesigned their site. It was a bit of a surprise when I found out.
They took their site to the next level. It’s very easy to navigate and find exactly what you want. One of the things I am loving is the filtering that is incorporated into the site. I hate it when I know what I want and color but have to sort through 200 selections. This site can sort by size, color and collection. So say you want a large, that is purple and in the Sliq Mesh line, and BAM there it is. This is under the styles
The individual pages are improved. The pictures are larger with a enlarged section as well. It is also easier to change and find colors, you can find the colors on the right side next to the picture.

Our friends at Designer Drawers posted this picture before Christmas. It got me thinking about being a kid and getting underwear when you really wanted toys and fun things. Now, the roles are reversed, how many of us would LOVE get get some undies under the three?
It got me thinking what would have been on my list for Santa in underwear. This made me wonder, who would you want underwear from? Knowing the guy who reads the blog, having your mother would rule her out. I don’t think many mothers would buy Gregg Homme or Cocksox for you. I think for this same reason family members would be rules out as well.
The most obvious would be a significant other. I think tho could go two ways. First they could buy us something they know we love. Outside of our selves the person we date/marry would see us the most in undies. I know when i do date i love to wear something super sexy at times to surprise them. Second, would be something they want to see us wearing. I think this is easier if they have a guy thats into underwear. I think most readers are adventurous and if our partner bought us a thong or something wild we would gladly put it on and show our appreciation.
The next is friends. A lot of my friends know I love underwear. They know about the blog and I have a few I would love getting undies from on Christmas. I have a friend who likes similar things as I do and think I would trust his gifting. However, if you’re in a relationship this could cause issues if someone gives you undies.

I continue my reviews of Gregg Homme the next pair I get to review for you guys is the Baller Boxer. The first thing you notice is that the Baller boxer is tiny in the package. Meaning the boxer came in a pouch that easily fit in the palm of my hand. I originally thought it was a brief till I took it out of the package. I was a little worried because it has a thin waistband and super light material. I have tried similar styles from other brands and half way through the day they were falling off… Would this happen with Gregg Homme?
Well I should have known my fears were unfounded. The pair performed amazing. First let’s tackle the waistband. Yeah, I was worried it wouldn’t hold up. It didn’t fit super tight like I usually like. However, it stayed in place all day and never moved out of place or sagged. Which was my biggest concern.
Second the material, which is super thin. I always am amazed with what Gregg Homme does with materials. The hyper stretch material just conforms to your body. I love tight spandex blends that conform to my body. So when I first put this on it was looser then I usually like but through out the day it was super light and really felt like I wasn’t’ wearing undies. Note that the material is also semi sheer, so if you don’t want to show off a little you may not like. It made me think that this would be an awesome summer pair under shorts.
Lastly, the pouch. I’m a stickler when it comes to pouches. This one is defined and I will say I’m amazed at the support I had in it. I wasn’t expecting it to hold me like it did. All I have to say is that I’m blow away by the pair.
I wore the pair to run around errands, around the house and to dinner. Each of these situations it performed above my expectations. I think the material is made for an active guy. It’s hard for me to describe with anything other then amazing.
Now on to the sizing. You are asking what is the sizing? It’s pretty standard with US sizing. I received and XL which fit my 36/38 waist pretty well. I gained a bit of weight back over the holidays but working it off. As with any brand always double check the size chart on their site, because some brands do change sizes! I think Gregg Homme has been pretty standard.

Hey guys, this is a quick post to explain a few changes you may see. We are always trying to improve site performance. The last few weeks we have been very picture heavy, which slows down load time. So we implemented the “read more” link on some posts. If you see that or we mention more pics below, click them to read or see all the pictures. The first, Entranced, is a line of undergarments that are soft, shiny, stretchy and very, very sexy. They are made with a sophisticated fabric that features a tone-on-tone hypnotic swirl, tinted in either black or electric blue.

What made you do a Kickstarter for the new line?
We wanted to some up with a selection that men would want to wear. Our idea was to have this interactive platform where guys could vote on their favorite designs and get what they wanted. It was all around a great way to connect with our audience and do something a little out of the ordinary!
You have having people vote on the new collection, are you energized or scared about having your fans choose the new collection?
We’re loving it! Our customers have a great sense of style, and by seeing what their taste are, we feel like we’re getting to know them even more.
What are some of the levels in the Kickstarter?
We tried to make our rewards the most fun and attractive possible. It goes from 1 pair of underwear at $20 (shipping included) to levels where people can come hang out with us at one of our photo-shoots or customize 3 pairs to their unique liking.
The biggest is the “Be a Model” has anyone claimed this level? Why did you choose to include it?
Yes! Someone already pledged for this level and will be flown to Vancouver for a special photo shoot session where he will be the star of the shoot! We’ll also spend some time together and make sure he gets the time of his life! We thought it was a wonderful way to connect on a deeper level with our fans. There is nothing like honoring our fans and making them the stars of our brand.
When does the Kickstarter end?
The campaign ends on January 10th, 2014 – so there is 25 days to go and for people to enjoy great rewards. We’re aiming at shipping the second collection out early February, so that backers can get their premium undies for Valentine’s day!
