Junk Underjeans is a brand we have been friends with for a while. They are always at Magic in Vegas. They are a brand we need to cover more. The last time we reviewed them was a few years ago. They have grown and evolved over the last few years. I am loving what they are doing. We have underwear and activewear reviews coming your way soon.
The pair I am reviewing is the Junk X Burn Brief. This is the first time I have worn Junk UnderJeans. I was really excited to try the Junk X line because the line has a larger pouch. Its not a super large pouch but it’s definitely larger than the average. I slid them on and I didn’t have that magic moment when you slide on underwear that you felt was made just for you. It felt like a good pair of briefs. The pouch seemed just ok to me.
It wouldn’t be till later that I would appreciate the pouch. The fit in these were very good. You can tell they designed these for guys to wear on a daily basis. As the day went on I totally forgot what I was wearing. To some this maybe a bad thing but not for me. If I wear a pair of underwear and forget I have them on it’s the sign of a great pair.
I wore these on a day when I knew I would be a bit active. I worked my part time job, that is a bit more active than my usual day. They held up really well with the lifting and driving I had to do that day. You definitely can wear these for a lazy day or an active day. I would dare say that these to the gym for great support.
The sizing of Junk UnderJeans is pretty spot on. In fact in certain lines they are making an XXL. These are just up to an XL. Which by happens to be the size I got. I’m still working my way back down to a large. It fit pretty well. It wasn’t too tight or too loose. The sizing across the board on Junk UnderJeans are pretty consistent. You should have no issues with them in sizing.
Some things I really liked about this pair is first the fabric. it’s a 90% POLYESTER/10%SPANDEX blend. I really loved the 10% spandex most. It gives it some great stretch. Next, is waistband. This isn’t a totally branded waistband but has the Junk X line name across the band. As for things I don’t like, there aren’t a lot. I was super happy with the pair. I would say that they could make the pouch a big bitter, but as it is snug but not too snug.
It’s Wednesday, that mean’s its time to support the jock! The pair we are profiling this week is great for a Jockstrap Wednesday and also great for a 4th of July celebration. It’s the C-IN2 Grip Mesh jock in the USA color combination. The Grip jock is a great take on the classic Jock that C-IN2 released a few years ago.
The new mesh collection has three different countries. They are USA, Brazil and China. Of course we chose the USA for this year. You can wear the Brazil during the Summer Olympics this summer. Why not cheer on your favorite country wearing the host country’s jock!
I have been a fan of their jocks since they had the Bamboo collection. Their jocks are perfect to wear during any work out or just a lazy day at home. C-IN2 jocks are for all occasions. We have readers who believe this is true of all jocks. More guys are starting to wear them as daily wear as opposed to the gym or other activities.
If by chance you don’t want to show off any national pride and want to remain neutral. There are a few solid colors in the Grip Mesh line. However, we think these country colors are pretty awesome. You can find this pair at the C-IN2 website or at your favorite retailer.

Running a pair of mesh, totally see through swim wear is not something we would usually show on a Tuesday. It’s more of a Fetish Friday type of event. BodyAware is known for their unorthodox styles, fabric and design sense. The Good Vibes Mesh Swim Briefs is one of those pairs!
The Good Vibes Swim Briefs are made out of a light weight industrial mesh. That as the BodyAware site says “Hides nothing.” As you can see by the pics that pretty much is true. This is not a pair I would expect to see on many beaches. It’s more of a private pool or resort area.
The Good Vibes Mesh Swim Brief as described by BodyAware “With comfortable elastic around the waist, two straps at the each hip trimmed in sultry black binding, and our miniature BodyAware metal logo patch on the side pocket. With a sleek full back.” I am not sure I would wear this pair but I know we have plenty of readers who will love this suit.
You maybe asking why are we profiling such a very out there pair? We like to, for a lack of better word, cover the industry. There are times when it will be things you can wear on the beach and other times not. This could be a great pair for a get away on a private beach or resort with your partner.
We also, always love our readers to step outside your comfort zone and try something new. This can be worn as swimwear or underwear. Now that I think about it, it could be also worn on a bar night in certain bars. Remember underwear/swimwear is about having fun, and this pair says FUN!

We know we have a lot of fans out there. On our social media accounts we get some great feed back from you guys. It’s not always how great we are, but things we are doing wrong too. That’s one thing I love about you guys. Many of you aren’t afraid to call us out when we aren’t doing something right. To do a blog you have to listen tot he good and bad. Sometimes the bad is not easy to hear but it makes you better in the long run.
Recently, we conducted our Annual Reader Survey. This past month we did a similar post to brands. It gave us just as much insight as our readers have done. We discovered that the two overlap a lot more than we would have thought. We will continue to do this to keep improving the site and work on meeting your, the readers, expectations and also brand expectations.
The brand survey reinforced that the Patreon was the right choice. It takes money to put on a blog the size of UNB. Plus we have plans for the future and need your help to accomplish them! The costs to run the site aren’t sexy. Such as hosting, email, postage and such. Then there are shoots we want to do for you guys. You mentioned in the survey you want to see real guys in pictures and shoots. Also you want to see up and coming models. These will be shoots we will have to pay for ourselves.

Who’s ready for a Liquid Lunch? We’re not talking about a brunch with Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Rather the swim Pair from Lunch called Liquid Lunch. I discovered them on Tumblr. They had some amazing pictures and I had to see what they were selling. Who is Launch and what are they about:

One reason we chose this pair is it’s a brief but it’s not too small. Its actually a larger cut than many out there. Does this mean it’s any less sexy? I say heck no. On guys sometimes a bigger cut is just as sexy as a bikini. In fact I think a larger cut can accent a guys body more than a bikini. The Liquid Lunch is a pair that I thought was super hot.
The Liquid Lunch is also an enhancing pair. It may not seem like it. The goods aren’t on display. “Designed with a contoured, supportive pouch to get you proudly out front.” Meaning it will enhance but not show off too much! There is sometimes too much of a good thing. Swimwear is where many guys want to show a little but not too much. More so than with underwear.

It’s Swimwear Sunday, what better Brief Distraction to have than one featuring swimwear. This is part of a shoot Photog Paul Smollen did featuring Cameron Beasley and Jarrad Cramp in Marcuse Swimwear.
Over the last few years. Swim thongs have been making a come back. They have always been around the world of men’s swimwear. But it was on the periphery. Many guys have been hardcore swim thong fans. They were not easy to find unless you knew where to look. In the last two year more companies have been making them. The latest company to enter into the swim thong arena is BodyAware.
You may know them from their sexy men’s underwear and lingerie. But I bet many of you didn’t realize they create some awesome swimwear. We already profiled the Patriot Swim Brief. We had to share the Super Power Swim Thong! Here is the official description:

Note the thong is not lined. As we have discussed a few times in other swimwear. Unlined means it has the possibility of showing off a lot more than traditional swimwear. This is very much the case with the white swimwear. You have been warned it will be see through when wet. This is a selling feature for some of you but others don’t want to show off all the goods.
One thing I really love about this pair is the wide waistband. Many swim thongs can have very thin waistband without a draw string. After many wears the band on some can come loose and cause issues. This one has about a one inch band with a draw string that will hold it all in place and not give a show! That is unless you wear the white pair!

Loungewear is not something we cover enough on the blog. Its something most guys either like or don’t like. I will be the first to admit that before UNB I was never a loungewear guy. I would throw on a pair of shorts or hang out in my underwear. After almost 8 years on UNB, I have discovered how amazing loungewear truly can be. Sure we all love to hang out in undies, but there are those times when you can’t. Maybe its a trip with friends/family, having guests at your home or you just need a cover up to answer the door.
The Dream line from N2N Bodywear has a brief, hoodie, pant and robe. I have a pair of the N2N Lounge Pants. Which is the “lounge” line from N2N. It’s a little confusing. I loved these because they were so comfy. I wanted to try more of the loungewear from N2N. These pants really didn’t let me down. When I put them on they felt great. The first time I put them on I wore them without underwear. Well that may not be the best thing around others. It made certain things very noticeable. If you’re with your partner or alone this is fine. You may not want to do this around others. The second time was with my Studio Groove briefs and it was fine.
I love the fabric of this line. The Dream line has a 92% polyester / 8% spandex. The fabric is super soft and has some good stretch to it. These are a bit loose and the spandex gives it a little bit of stretch where you need it. These are currently my favorite lounge wear. Yes, I have been working on UNB many times while I”m kicking it in my N2N Dream pants.
Sizing for loungwear runs different that underwear. The waist isn’t the only factor. The length of the pants are important too. You don’t want to seem like you’re running out to go clam digging. I received and XL and the waist was fine and the length was great. Being 6’4″ sometimes pants can run short. These didn’t and I was very happy.
These were great to wear. I need to get an entire sex of the Dream line. They are amazing pants and if you’re in the market for new lounge pants check these out and not those flannel ones. These are perfect especially for summer. They are lighter and a lot more fashionable.

Have you ever wondered what your follow UNB readers love in fetishwear? I think we all want to know what another guy likes. This is out of curiosity for me. What are other guys wearing and why do they wear that style? Over the course of UNB I have had the pleasure to talk to numerous readers about what they love. Fetishwear is starting to go mainstream. There is less social stigma about it and wearing it. It’s something we have noticed in the last few years. Even our straight underwear loving brothers are “getting their freak on.”
In our reader survey we ran in May, we asked you guys what you love in fetishwear. This is just the top six answers. The rest were one off and a few mentioned Jockstraps and thongs.
48% of you guys love spandex. This includes runners, singlets, bike shorts and more. By in far the most popular of the fetish world. The second is Lingerie (Lace) at 18% of you love putting on something fun. Third is the other end of the spectrum, 15% enjoy Leather and harnesses. 12% are unsure about fetishwear. 4% love Rubber/latex and 3% are fans of mesh .

This list reflects the likes you guys listed above. Its a good mix of different types of gear. Gregg Homme has a bit of everything. Some of the best made underwear in the fetish area. N2N Bodywear is known for its super hot spandex gear, Andrew always blows it out of the water. Nasty Pig, Fort Troff, Cellblock 13, Mr. S Leather all reflect the more leather side of the spectrum. Delio Dietz has a very unique style. It celebrates the sex appeal of men. Their cuts can be small and has really great fabric. This pair features the Brief Pulso in white. Made out of a white mesh with contrasting red trim.
N2N Bodywear is releasing some new lines in June. The first is the Nitro Patriot and the second is the Basic Gym Collection. The one we are going to cover now is the Nitro Patriot. The Nitro line was released last year. Its a mix of solid and mesh design. It’s very daring for swimwear to have mesh. At least I think so. When I think of swimwear, I rarely thing of mesh.
Last year the Nitro was available in several different colors. When the new N2N line was released I was sad to see that it wasn’t being continued. I think it’s super sexy and daring for the guys who want to show off. Then about a week ago, I thought I saw the Nitro Patriot on a social media site. But, I couldn’t go back and find it. Then when I went on N2N’s site last week I saw it!
The new Nitro has a very stars and stripes design. The front has a pouch made out of blue material with white stars. The back has a band of red stripes with the N2N Bodywear logo. Just like the previous collection, they have mesh around the sides and around the back. It shows just enough skin but you won’t show it all off.
Where would you wear this pair? That’s a very good question and I can hear many of you asking yourself this very question. You can wear it to a beach, but make sure it’s one where thongs are legal. I would say probably most of our readers would wear the Nitro to a private pool or private function. But, we aren’t one to judge, if you feel awesome in this pair go out and wear it where you dare!
Color is in the top 5 things you guys look for in underwear. This year we wanted to know what colors you guys love. This was an open ended question that you guys could put in any color or colors you loved. You guys responded with 330 different colors you loved. Some said a few colors and others listed just one. As you can tell there is a lot of over lapping colors. Here are the top 11 colors (we were going to do just 10 but we had a tie)
Again, bar graphs are super sexy. I wanted to make every color what color it was but Excel wasn’t playing nice. The top color that most guys liked, almost a fourth of you guys said blue. This was no surprise to me. Blue is one of the most popular colors in the general pubic. So it makes sense you guys would love blue undies.
The second place was a surprise to me. You guys love black undies. I was expecting to see a few more options before we got to black, but it is a classic and can be very sexy. Third place went to Red. Again no real surprise to me. Red has always been the top color for many guys. I will admit I love a bright red brief.
The fourth place is a big shock to me. You guys picked white. I was not expecting white to make the top 10 with our readers. Many guys have said that white is boring. But it seems many of you see red as a classic and a color to embrace. It just an interesting pick you guys revealed.
My favorite color comes in in our fifth spot. Green! I love green and want more companies to make pairs featuring it. We go through phases of green being in and out. Next is pink! We recently did a non scientific poll on Twitter and asked you guys if you would rock a pair of pink undies. We had about 97% of you who answered said yes. Pink is no longer considered feminine. It also has been popular for a few years and doesn’t seem to go out of style.
When you think of underwear do you think of Grey? It’s not one of the top colors that come to mind for me. I would have never have guessed it would be in our top 11. It shows me something new about our readers! You guys like the classics of black, white and grey.
The next two colors can be on the bright end. They are purple and orange. I figured Purple would be higher on the list. It’s one of the colors in the last few years that has picked up popularity. Orange is one of those colors that is always in the periphery. It never really goes away but never has been the “it” color.
The two tied in last are Bright colors and Prints/Patterns. Bright colors are really primary colors. Ones that are fun and the blue, red, yellow and etc. Some guys bunched them into one. The last I was glad to see. Prints have been huge the last year in men’s underwear. More guys are branching out to try them and actively looking for them. We expect this to grow over the next year.

We all love underwear! We have a our favorite styles, colors and brands. However, there are things we really don’t like in underwear. You guys have very specific things you hate. Many of you aren’t afraid to share it in our survey. This year we had some new things get reported and other things were similar to last year. One big difference from last year, is you guys really voiced yourselves very well. Many of you were very specific about what things you don’t like.
