I LOVE finding new brands for you guys. While on IG I saw a model wearing the singlet on the left and Wanted it. I love the print. But I couldn’t find it until I was on Tumblr (yes believe it or not) there is still a good undies community there and someone posted picture after picture of this print in a g-string, thong, and bodysuit. I googled it and saw the singlet! I will warn you it’s a pricy brand but it’s something different. The brand is called Patrick Church. Go check them out.

We bring you the final results of the UNB Reader survey. It was a great survey and gave us some really interesting insights into you guys and across a spectrum of guys. The last few slides are about challenges we face and media from UNB.
One thing this slide tells me is that guys across the sexual spectrum have different issues. A gay guy will have different issues than a straight guy, and a bi guy. This is an area that can be explored much further. One a podcast we have coming up it gave me insight into a bi guy who loves undies but the women he dates either don’t care for his choice in undies or are negative. On the gay side we have come a long way and when you see wild and fun undies most everyone says or things in society “only gays would wear that.” I am going to do some posts and podcasts over this slide this year.
Again see above to some extent but a supportive partner is key no matter your sexuality. I have had partners who didn’t get it, didn’t want to get it, and thought it was strange. Mix in social norms on the straight side and it can be a whole questioning the person you date. It shouldn’t matter because it’s just clothing but it does. If a woman comes home in a thong the guy usually is like “Oh yeah.” but I have heard stories when a man comes home in a thong the woman is like “what is that”
Ok, I left the Excessive part off this slide! Does your partner think your underwear love is excessive? Glad to see the majority of guys’ partners say no, but we have a very large maybe!
Our podcast has grown over the last year. We have crossed the 25K downloads mark, which is massive for a podcast. I know we have listeners who don’t read the blog and blog readers who don’t listen to the podcast. I really have taken a new passion for the podcast and have enjoyed expanding it since 2018. It’s given me a new creative outlet with underwear and gear. It’s also a lot more work. To write a post you just think it up, find pics, and bam you’re done. In a podcast you have come up with an idea, schedule people, record the show, then edit the show, then put it out. The bonus to this is you hear directly from a guy’s mouth his story. What he has to say and feel. I love interviewing regular guys telling how they discovered their love of undies. Or a group show where we talk about ideas and share our stories about a topic. If you haven’t listened go listen I think you will enjoy it. We will have more thong shows and more shows this year! I’m working on so much!
This has been a desire of mine for so long. I have mad video skills and want to put them to use. This one is even more difficult than podcasts. We have to find a willing guy to be in his undies, then film, edit, and release. We can’t release it on YouTube due to its nature and Vimeo has had some issues as well lately. I think this would need to be self-hosted and on our platform, which gives us 100% creative control but lacks audience discovery on YouTube. The one compromise is to do teasers on YouTube and drive them to the blog. One of my big goals is to do a documentary. I have so many ideas for this and just not the time or money for it. Maybe I’ll do a go fund me or something to get the money to do one. I need to put together a budget to shoot an underwear documentary and see what it comes to and see if I can make it happen. I have one topic I would love do and another on the back burner. But a regular series explaining new undies and sort of a 101 series would be awesome too.

Happy Pride! This weekend is officially Pride weekend. It marks the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots that kicked off the gay rights movement. The official date is June 28th but the last weekend in June is typically pride weekend.
After this week and the Supreme Court ruling, we need to remain vigilant about Pride. Get out and vote in November.

MODUS VIVENDI, this time decided to approach the right people to do this campaign, since we had a certain vision regarding the presentation of this unique campaign. We found the right man that had the necessary and the most suitable background for this yet combining those with his talent and his excellent artworks. His name is Denis Sdobnov but people also knows him as Drawmedenis.
Denis Sdobnov is known for portraying a collective LGBTQ+ imagery through his unique perspective, and visually manifesting private sensual fantasy. His works have been acknowledged and forwarded by numerous gay icons on social media. His work has been acknowledged and forwarded by numerous gay icons on social media. In February 2021, Sdobnov hosted its debut solo exhibition “Midsummer” in Shanghai.

“My name is Denis Sdobnov and I was born and raised in a traditional Russian Orthodox family and grew up with a struggle for self-identity. Moving to Shanghai and practicing art, have gradually become my agency for my slow but glittering process of self-acceptance and reconciliation.
Here in Shanghai, I feel empowered by the extremely supportive and talented queer artist community, which endowed me with the strength to follow my heart and instinct, and become more visually and vocally self-expressive.
I believe being a queer artist comes with a lot of communal and social responsibilities. Your work and practice should not be a merely about portraits or self-explorations. You need to give love and supports, empowering other queer people in struggle and agony and unreservedly celebrate difference and diversity.
Being able to showcase my work during PRIDE month would be no doubt to cheer more queer people up at the time of celebrating who you are. It would be a great chance to fulfill my mission as a socially caring artist and culture worker.”

Fetishwear is one area of the Survey that we have cut back on and has surprised me. I thought we would have guys who loved it and wore it. Nope, it’s always been lower than I expected, so I cut all the questions other than what you like and where you wear it. I enjoy many of these things, but you guys love undies and swim way more.
This slide sums it up. Over 40% of you guys answered none. The second closest was Spandex gear below 30%. I’m debating cutting this section entirely from the 2023 survey.
Just a quick slide on where you guys buy fetishwear. Most buy online, and few go to a specialty store for the type of gear.
Now on to something incredible. 75% of you want us to show guys of all sizes. I’m working on a system to have guys submit pics and profile guys in our brief distraction with a short list of questions so you can share where you are, your social, and a brief message on what you love in undies.
You want to see real guys across just about everywhere on the site. We love that and are trying to get more guys to be on the site. It’s not been easy to recruit guys. I have been hitting guys up on social media (IG and Twitter) to come on the podcast, and it’s been hit or miss. Please reach out if you want to come on or submit a picture.
This slide! OMG, I have such big ideas for this but a minimal budget. There is a lot that could be done but hiring a photog and getting pics isn’t cheap. Plus, we want to do a real guy shoot. I am trying to find guys in ATL who want to work with us regularly but have yet to find them. We have a significant gay community and bear community, but most don’t want to do an underwear shoot.
GUYS! Almost 50% don’t want to participate in a real guy segment. I love it when regular guys come on and share. It gives other guys the courage to come forward and feel they are not alone.

Do you love Candyman? Candyman has always designed by their own rules and mixed the masc/fem together for guys. I thought I would drop a podcast plan. We bring you the next part of our reader survey results. This time it’s Gymwear! We wanted to know what you guys wear while working out. I think we see a rise in spandex and other workout wear. Here are some of the
Running is an exercise that I hate; I only run when being chased! But I wondered what you guys wear. The main article is the gym short. I’m not surprised, but it’s good to see about 25% of you wear runners (spandex) and spandex shorts!
Workout wear is changing. No longer are we wearing shorts and tees. Guys are wearing a lot more. You may not see it on this survey, but there is one thing on this slide that keys you in. Don’t change. That is singlets. It’s growing, and we have seen more IG guys working out in singlets. I”m a little disappointed that runners and spandex shorts aren’t more significant, but fingers crossed it grows. I prefer spandex when working out for the support it gives. If you are old enough to remember the 80, there was a brand that I LOVED called Hind. They had some of the thickets and most comfy spandex shorts ever. They gave me such incredible support when working out my legs.
Gym shorts reign supreme on this survey. But I am showing hope that runners and spandex shorts are gaining acceptance. Over 25% of young guys wear runners while doing cardio. Two, in cardio, it depends on what you are doing.
I asked for Cross fit because I think it’s an evil workout regime. But many guys wear it. Again we see the gym short by a WIDE margin.
I thought that yoga would see more spandex in general but nope. However, we see a rise in Yoa pants in the Track/sweat pants (I shortened the yoga pants for the slide). Ok, next year I”m asking what kind of shorts you guys wear.
Our last question is how much do you spend on gym wear. You guys spend more on gym wear than you do underwear. It’s in the $36-$50 range. Gymwear is also a lot more expensive than undies. There are higher-end brands that go for over $70 for pieces.
Gym wear let me down a little, but there’s more coming soon, including fetishwear and some more fun things.
