It’s been a while since we profiled Andrew Christian. This is the 9863 Almost Naked Tagless Brief, Neon Orange. Model is Ryan Rose. The Almost Naked has one of my favorite pouches. Its definitely one you should have in your drawer.

I will start by saying that boxer briefs and trunks are not my first choice of underwear. So when I pulled out this pair I did;t expect them to be on regular rotation. I first noticed that the fabric was very soft. The anatomically correct pouch was going to leave very little to the imagination. Lastly, the waistband only said BLACK with no Andrew Christian in sight.
These were my choice for a typical Monday at the office, under jeans. When first pulling them on I was pleased by how they felt so broken in already. Its like they had been washed over and over. I’m definitely a fan of fabrics like that. The pouch was supportive and comfortable even though it leaves a less than attractive silhouette in my opinion. I was nicely surprised by the fact that the legs really didn’t ride up too much under my pants. The pouch wasn’t as obvious under my 
clothes as I had anticipated. I did have to make occasional adjustments to the pouch throughout the day but not enough to be a problem. A nice, light pair of underwear for a workday – or even lounging since they’re so soft.
These were a medium (30-32) and they fit true to size. The fabric has a LOT of stretch. If you like things a bit tight, you could size down if you’re on the lower end of the size range. I’m a 31-32 and these were fine. If you’re a true 30, you should get the small.
This collection also comes in a brief which I will try next and the colors available are black, blue and red.
Overall, the Black Collection Boxer was a great pair and will be in my rotation every so often – especially when I want to show off a bit.

Andrew Christian furnished a few of the new Black line to review. The new line is one of their newest collections. It is “Our BLACK Collection features a no frills, all sexy brief you can enjoy anywhere from work to the gym and on to your hottest date.” This is the answer to those who wanted a more classic design from Andrew Christian.
I really liked the look of the new Black brief. It’s very classic but not too classic. That may sound odd, but it’s a great classic design with new fabrics. The fabric of the pair is one of my favorite things about the line. It’s a 93% Rayon Made From Bamboo, 7% Spandex. Which may seem a little odd but it fits really well. The rayon is super soft and mix in the spandex for some great support.
The day I wore this was over a work day. As I have said before the new job is a bit more active. So I have to do a lot more than my desk job. Picking a pair of great underwear is even more important. The pouch gave really great support and it fit very well. The classic design had a full back which stayed in place. It moved with me and did an amazing job. This definitely could be a work pair or gym or date night. It’s pretty versatile pair of underwear.
Colors are more classic as well. Some of the previous collections have been a lot of neons and other bright colors. This has red, black and blue. The waistband is a black band with yellow trim and the Black name in the band. Its not classic but not over the top either. I think it’s a nice touch to the pair.
Sizing for Andrew Christian is pretty standard. I can’t remember when I had an issue with a pair being too small. I have found that the XL can fit larger than suggested. Trust me I know this for fact. Their size chart isn’t that crazy either. Its been pretty standard for the last few years.

A few years ago (more like 6 years) Andrew Christian has the football line. I remember it because it mixed two of my favorite things, underwear and football gear! When I fist started UNB, I wouldn’t have ever thought about wearing an animal print pair of undies. I never liked them. But as the years went on they grew on me and I started to wear them.
