Men’s Swimwear

D.Hedral is a brand after our own heart. They thing guys need to wear swim briefs. We full stand behind this! Here is what they wrote to go along with this video!

Let’s go back to a time when men were more confident… wearing less.
And more… European! about skin, on show, on the beach.

Where girls don’t prefer their guy to wear board-shorts. (Cos no one likes a farmer’s tan!)
Where there isn’t this need to cover up so much down there.

This is the way to our kind of beach,
Where you show off your skin this summer.

The beach brief is back!
And for guys… that are bolder than the rest.

When we mention Candyman what comes to mind? Is it bright colors, lace, sexy costume and over the top designs? If you said any of those we couldn’t agree more. The brand has a wilder design than other brands out there. They are often known for using lace fabrics and skimpy thong cuts.

What would happen if they released a swimwear line? Well they just did. This is the first time that I recall them doing swimwear. So what would you expect from the line? If you said lace, sorry not in the swimwear. If you said bright colors, YES of course those are included, If you said sexy cuts, that’s another yes. But sadly no thongs fro swim!

We group them in traditional, wild cuts and fun prints. In total there are 14 pairs of swimwear released from them. Let’s start out on the traditional cuts.

Candyman Summer Swim Briefs 99207 – Show your patriotism in this pair. It’s flag inspired but without the literal interpretation of the flag. The right side is red/white stripes and the left and back are solid blue. The waistband is red and the stitching in the leg is also red.

Candyman 99212 Swim Brief – Looking for something classic with a bit of a spin? This pair is available in three colors: blue, green and pink. It has a belt in the front that gives it a 1950’s feel to me. Something that more classic. The colors are anything but classic. The green and pink will draw attention.

Candyman Mix Color block Swim Trunk 99220 – If you’re not a fan of a brief but want a trunk. This is the pair for you. Where the pair above has a more classic feel, this has a model classic feel. Two tone color block in a longer cut.

Sexy Cuts are standard with Candyman. This includes the swimwear.

Candyman 99214 Swim Briefs – This is a pair with a cut out on the right hip with three straps. It reminds me of several pairs they have had over the years in underwear. They featured a similar design. It’s just available in black. It shows skin but not enough to get you in trouble.

Candyman 99216 Swim Briefs Color – Let’s say you want to show off the back more than the front. That is if you have some junk in the trunk. This pair of Candyman has a swoop deign in the pack with a few straps to show off the top of your bum. The ring in the center creates an interesting design that will draw attention.

Prints are not something Candyman has done a lot with, however this collection it has a lot more in underwear and swimwear.

Candyman 99210 Swim Brief – It doesn’t have an official name but it’s a snake print. The pouch is made out of a black snake skin print that isn’t over the top. It also has two snake skin stripes to accent the pouch. Its a black print on black spandex. You won’t be rocking blatant snake print but people close to you will be able to see what it is.

Candyman 99218 Swim Trunks – Looking to go for the gold? this black and gold trunks is for you. They have an interesting design but not sure its snake print. Its definitely different from the rest. This would be perfect for Miami or other tropical destination.

Candyman 99219 Swim Trunks – Bright tropical prints are made for swimwear. This print is if you took a tropical designation at sun set and made it into a print. Its something different than I have seen in swimwear. I’m on the fence with it for me personally but I can see it being a popular suit for them.

Candyman Mix Color block Swim Trunk 99220 – If you like the traditional cut of the trunk mentioned above, but want something a bit bolder? This suit has a floral and flamingo print. Its very “Brady Bunch” to me. This will sell some of you and make others go running off! I think it’s super fun.

Candyman 99223 Swim Briefs – Animal prints have been big in swimwear for a few years. This pair is a solid blue front and a leopard face in the back. It’s something very different and that Candyman put their own spin on it. The colors and print are definitely for a tropical local.

Candyman 99224 Swim Trunks – If like the pair above but want the cat print in a trunk. Candyman has you covered. This trunk has cat faces on both sides and a solid black background. Its’ a really fun print for the summer.

Candyman 99225 Swim Briefs Swim Briefs – Looking for something to let your inner wolf out? This pair is it. It has an almost string bikini cut with a wolf print on the back. The back looks to be 3/4 back. Meaning it won’t offer full coverage like the other briefs.

Looking for super fun swimwear make sure you take a look at Candyman for the Summer.

GM swimwear - Web

It’s Swimwear Sunday. Time for some great swimwear for the summer. The pair we are profiling today is the Garçon Model Graffiti swim brief. But don’t worry it also comes in swim shorts. This is the first time that Garçon Model has released a swim line!

“We’re very excited to announce Garçon Model’s first swimwear collection! Named after its bold print, the “Graffiti Collection” is composed of 5 vibrant colours in an array of swim briefs & shorts. Perfect for this Summer! We’d also like to offer your readers a 15% discount to celebrate this event, using code SUMMER15″

The colors they offer are navy, blue, red, yellow and black. It is available in both the brief and short. Each one has the graffiti print you see above. You could even wear them as a set. Wear the shorts till you get to the beach then remove it and spend the day in the briefs. Not all guys like to walk to the beach in just a pair of swim briefs.

Some of the features of the brief are it has a double lined front. This should prevent everything from showing through (although, we have some who prefer no lining). It is salt & Chlorine resistant. Making it perfect for the ocean or any pool. The pair also has a low rise fit with an internal draw string. This is for those guys who prefer the string not to show. The suit itself is a high definition print on a 82% Polyester / 18% Spandex blend of fabric.

The two styles are available directly from Garçon Model’s site. The brief is retailing for $75 and the shorts are $95. These two styles will definitely catch attention on the beach this summer. For a first collection I think GM did an awesome job at creating something different and fun. I look forward to more swimwear from them.

Seeing the results of our Reader Survey, we found out that you guys like Swim Thongs. They are growing in popularity with you guys so why not share one for our Swimwear Sunday. One company that really makes great swim thongs is Cocksox.

This is what Cocksox says about the pair:

Take a trip on a psychedelic adventure with these spectacular combinations of colourful geometric shapes. You’ll be the envy of the beach as you ride a new- wave of vibrant floating arrangements. Almost every colour of the rainbow is featured in this diverse print – it’s the must-have swimwear print you’ve been waiting for.

Featuring the Cocksox enhancing snug pouch design out front and butt-cheek revealing thong out the back. Made from awesome, high quality chlorine resistant Italian Lycra.

I have a swim thong by Cocksox and it’s one of the most comfortable ones around. I’m not a die hard thong guy but I really like it. Just know that swim thongs are made a bit different than underwear. They have to be made out of thicker material, similar to a swim brief. The cut is a bit bigger in the back but it’s not totally uncomfortable.
If the thong won’t bring attention to you on the beach/pool. The print will definitely draw attention. It’s a tropical print, at least to me. But as seen through a kaleidoscope. It’s one of the more innovative prints I have seen in the last year. Plus, it’s a print you will only see at Cocksox.
Find the Kaleidoscopic Swim Thong at the Cocksox site. It retails for $38. Made out of 80% Polyester 20% Lycra®. Two important things in swimwear is this pair has UPF 50+ sun protection and High Chlorine resistance. If you want to rock a thong on the beach, make sure you go to the Cocksox site to see all the ones they offer! They include prints and solids!

After a winter in the north which was mild yet seemingly endless. Tt finally appears that beach season has finally arrived. Which means only one thing. The discussion on underwear blogs internet wide regarding what to wear at the beach. Many out there are hesitant to don the ever divisive swim brief. As UNB’s Undies Rock coined them “swimmers”. I was one of those guys throughout my entire life. My hesitations stemmed from American societal stigmas as well as body confidence. However, last August I stopped caring, went for the gold. I got my pasty white upper thighs some much needed sun and attention. It was a fantastic and course changing decision.

The moment I first hit the beach in my swim brief was pretty terrifying. Fortunately for myself I went to the beach with friends who also were wearing equivalent apparel. This did help to ease my nerves. As I removed my exterior clothes to reveal my black swim brief. My fears dissipated much like a balloon deflates. Within minutes I was not only comfortable but regretting not doing so earlier. A great day was had and I haven’t looked back, wearing only swim briefs at the beach and pool since.

Wearing a swim brief is the ultimate expression of personal confidence as well as physical and aesthetic pride. Prior to last summer, I didn’t have a very defined physical regiment. I was always fortunate to have a nice physique but to me. Wearing a swim brief full time at the beach or pool got me inspired. To get into a much more defined and regimented workout plan. It drives me to improve my physical appearance in a big way. Forcing me to “bring it” big time in the gym multiple times per week. The improvements have been major and I can credit swim briefs partially to it. In addition, my confidence in myself has never been greater when donning swim briefs. I have never felt more empowered and being brave enough to do it has been a major life change. While difficult to try the first time, it was an extremely positive decision and result.

Guys, I know many of you out there are reading this with a swimmer in your drawer. You bought one because you have always wanted to wear one in public. Due to potentially some of the reasons previously stated. You may be going to the beach this weekend and you want to wear it if you go. Heck, you will probably wear it under your swim trunks if you go. Dreaming of removing the external shorts. My advise to you: Just Do It. We are all not models, this is clear. But take pride in who you are. Embrace yourself guys because life is too short to cover up and conform. I am only one case of “coming out” in the swim brief world, but I sincerely hope you can take my story and advise to heart. Love yourself and have fun with it!

Cheers to the summertime kickoff! It’s time to don your swim brief!

PRBI-RED-FRONT2

The last few Swimwear Sunday’s we have shown some skimpy stuff. The pair we chose this week is the WildmanT Chevron Bikini. The Bikini name is a little off, because it’s more of a full brief than a bikini. Also, WildmanT is known for making swimwear and c-rings that show off everything you have!

The Chevron bikini is a bigger cut. One I personally like and think is a hot cut. It shows off enough but still keeps all the good stuff hidden. It reminds me of a classic Speedo cut. The kind I call competition cut. Competition cuts are about three inches on the side and a full back. It would be suits you would see competitive swimmers wear, before the skin suits and jammers. This pair has a bit of that old school flair.

You maybe asking about the pouch. Being WildmanT it has an ample pouch to hold everything. WildmanT makes really great gear designed for men. No matter the pair you can guarantee that its going to fit you amazing.

The Chevron Bikini is available in two colors. They are blue and red. Each one has a chevron design on the hips in white. Hence the name of the pair. The WildmanT logo is on the left hip and it has a drawstring waist that ties in the front. All these factors make this a great pair for summer.

Who should get this pair? Anyone who wants to wear a swimbrief but not show off everything. The pair is available at the WildmanT website for $45.

In less than 90 days the world’s eyes will be set on Rio de Janeiro as the Brazilian city holds the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. With more than half a million foreign tourists expected to flock to Rio and thousands likely to hit the sandy beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema it’s important to adhere to the Carioca’s beachwear etiquette… less is more!

The square cut ‘sunga’ style beach brief is the style of choice worn with a pair of flip-flops and a canga (sarong) – the Brazilian version of a beach towel.Whether playing futevolei (foot volleyball) on Copacabana beach or sipping a Caipirinha on Ipanema it’s important to do so in the Carioca way!

D.HEDRAL’s ‘sunga’ style HECTOR beach trunk, made in Italy using two finest quick-dry fabric, is available in five colours from khaki green to samba orange.

To ensure a better fit than traditional swimwear the trunks are engineered with D.HEDRAL’s patented AngleFit Technology to create a visual enhancement of the rear. Something that could come in useful when faced with the perfectly formed physiques of the sports-mad Cariocas!

The Hector sunga is available at the D.HEDRAL site for 96 Euros.

cx02pr-birds-of-paradise-1_d57cc43e-b311-4136-98ea-c86b08959b01We needed a “go bold” pair for this Swimwear Sunday. Something that is definitely not tame or will let you blend in the crowd. The pair we chose this week is the Cocksox Bird of Paradise Swim Brief. Right away you know, being Cocksox, it’s going to show off what you have!

This is their classic CX02 swim brief. It’s one of their first styles of swimwear they ever released. Its a bikini cut with the original Cocksox pouch. Personally it’s one of my favorite pouches of underwear/swimwear. It’s one of the most supportive around, it just fits amazing. The pouch will also show off everything! The pouch doesn’t have c-rings or anything to make it do what it does. It’s just the amazing pouch they created.

If the pouch didn’t scare you off, I don’t think that the print will either. The Birds of Paradise print is just as the name implies. It’s the Birds of Paradise flower with a green background. It’s a very subtle print that gives you a tropical feel without being totally cheesy. It’s masculine and floral at the same time. How often can you say that?

I think this pair would be a conversation starter on the beach. Why? Because its not a print you will see many people wearing in the states. I think you will have a lot of people asking where you got it and how can they get it. I have started to see a lot more Cocksox underwear in the states but we are lacking wearing the swimwear.

The fabric is 80% Polyester 20% Lycra. Which will be very comfortable to wear as swimwear each day. The print is an exclusive for Cocksox. This means you won’t see other companies use it. It’s also fast drying, which is a very important thing in the world of swimwear. The Birds of Paradise Swim Brief retails for $42 at the Cocksox website.

1.Lifestyle_Log-Swimwear-Collection-Neon-Line (3)The time has come for Modus Vivendi to show its Summer 2016 swimwear collection! The first of many exciting new lines is called Neon and comprises men’s swimwear in four distinctive styles to suit every taste: briefs, brazil cut boxers, boxer briefs and boxer shorts. All four styles come in three vibrant colours: neon aqua, neon fuchsia and neon yellow. Setting the trends this summer, Modus Vivendi’s Neon Line, stands for eye catching colours in classic swimwear styles.
The official campaign for this line was photographed by P2Photography in Chalkidiki, a beautiful region of Northern Greece known for its stunning beaches and breathtaking landscapes. Model Sotiris Thomaidis was called upon to pose in the new Neon Swimwear and the shots, we think, are amazing!
