In case you missed it here is Arthus & Nico at Indulge Inn. This was shot in Palm Springs I believe last month in their underwear brand PetitQ

Rufskin is one of those companies not shy and will make some great gear that if it’s not fetish boarders on fetish. This is Logan in the Zapp top and the swim is Ashton. You maybe saying, that’s a great bikini, but it’s not, its actually a swim jock. So the back is a jock cut! So be bold or don’t wear it
Modus Vivendi always creates super fun underwear and swim. The new collection has a denim look. As you can tell by the silver pair above! Styles that are in this collection are a boxer, brief and low cut brief. The styles are available in gold, silver and khaki. My personal favorite is the Low Rise Brief, this is a true bikini and something we definitely need in swimwear.
I think this is definitely a fun collection. The metallic material is shiny but not over the top like some metallic fabrics can be! Being just released these should be at your favorite retailers soon or on the Modus Vivendi Site.
Modus Vivendi (http://www.e-modusvivendi.com) is proud to announce the release of its new swimwear collection 2014. Inspired by the eternal elements of the Greek summer, the collection embraces the gold of the sun, the silver flash of the sea and the deep, tranquil greens of the forests and mountains. Available in luminous gold, shiny silver and khaki, this first part of Modus Vivendi’s new swimwear is the perfect start to a dazzling summer – Greek style!
Its Summer time and that a means Swimwear season! It’s time to put on your favorite swim and jump in. If you’re looking for a new favorite then check out Aronik Swimwear! They have some great new suits
It is now swim season and it’s time to spend as much time by the beach/pool as possible. I would totally agree with this but here in the ATL it’s been rainy and cloudy every time you turn around. So you can wear swimwear but it hasn’t been ideal conditions. So I used the Teamm8 Lanai swim shorts to hang out in one day by the pool. This was the first time I ever wore Teamm8. So I was excited to give them a try.
I will say it’s not normally the style I would wear. This pair has a very retro look, it reminds me of something from the 70’s/80’s, and yes I was old enough to remember them! So I was a little apprehensive about them. Back in the day I hated these types of swimwear and hoped that I wouldn’t have a bad flash back! But, this is Teamm8 and they make out of modern materials/fabrics, so I should have known this wasn’t going to happen.
I wore these to a pool that really isn’t swim brief friendly. It was a friends neighborhood pool, but I did keep my swim briefs under them, I like the extra support. As I relaxed in the pool and hung out this did fit great. The color got a little big of attention because it’s not the usual navy, white or red most swim trunks are. A few people complimented me on them and asked who they were. I forget you talk to people outside of the underwear/swimwear world, most of the population hasn’t heard of Teamm8. Well I am changing it for them an other brands.
Back to my day. These dried pretty fast and didn’t bunch or bind when going form pool to laying out and such. One of my biggest gripes in swimwear are those that don’t dry fast. I hate sitting in wet clothes for over an hour! The 100% nylon dried pretty fast so I was super happy.
The color I received was Watermelon. You are going to make a statement in this pair. It has a small palm tree print that alternates black and white tree. The pair has white piping around the lets and seams. It also includes a drawstring waist. Which is pretty standard for swimwear. If the Watermelon is not your style check out the mint (green) pair.
As for sizing, definitely pay attention to sizing charts. It was a little tight on me, just because I have gained a few pounds. Which I’m not happy about but I plan on going back down. However, that said you can get the right size if you check out the sizing guide. Their chart is easy to find, a button next to the size selection brings it up!
Pros:
- Great construction
- Attention getting color
- dries fast
Cons;
- retro design some guys may not like
- Colors maybe too bold for some guys
Ratings
- Fit – 9
- Sizing – 9
- Construction – 9
- Styling – 8
- Performance – 9
- Overall 8.8
Teamm8 furnished this pair for review. You can find it on their site for $64 AUS
It’s swimmer season. If you haven’t already gotten your swim or if you like to switch our your swim over the season check out the new ES Collection swimwear.
Swim season is in full swing. Since Memorial Day last month every weekend is now prime swimwear days. Granted, that is if the weather cooperates! Quarter Homme has released a new swim brief called Rave. The Rave is simple designed but fun pair that they just released.
Not every pair of swimwear needs to shout look at me! It doesn’t need to be made out of wild patterns or bright colors. Those suits have their place but I think every guy needs some basic designed swimwear in their drawer. And by basic I don’t mean boring. Simplicity can be pretty awesome.
The new Rave is a swim briefs with a solid body color and a contrasting trim on the waistband and leg openings. The colors available are White/Blue, Red/White and Black/Orange. My personal favorite is the white/blue. There is something about white swimwear that makes people cringe. You can show off everything in swim if it’s the wrong material. Speaking of the material it is body hugging and fast drying. There is nothing I hate more than swim that takes too long to dry.
This pair is perfect for those looking for a great, classic styled swim brief. Not only is the styling great the price is even better. The retail is $27.90. Which for a pair of swim is amazing. You can spend anywhere from $25-over 100 bucks on a pair of men’s swimwear. You can find this and more at the Quarter Homme site
I was on the Timoteo site looking up something else for the blog and what did I see on the site? The banner on the font showed the Marina Low Rise Swim Brief in the Star Print. Now, I don’t remember seeing this in Vegas, it’s quite possible that I did but don’t remember. The Olympian and knew it would be super popular! Right after we posted about it we heard a lot of you guys talking about it!
This pair I really love, the only down side is I wish I could wear Timoteo’s Swimwear. Maybe next summer, but in the mean time you guys should def get this pair! Its made in a low rise swim brief style. The fabric, front and back is the stars pattern with a blue back ground. So it’s not a flag but almost!
I really like the fact that Timoteo is designing super fun swimwear. This year I feel they are taking a few more risks in swim and it’s definitely paying off. In the past they have used color blocks and bright colors but this year its like they have a story to tell in their swim. I hope they def keep it up!
If you’re after a something fun check this pair out at the Timoteo site or any of the other swimwear. The Marina Low Rise retails for $38.00 and is available in a plaid as well!
One of the hottest trends in swimwear right now is country flag inspired swim. We have seen it from many of the swim designers some go literal and other do abstract designs. CA-RIO-CA has created a whole series around the World Cup. So no matter who your team is, they have a pair of swim wear for that Country.
Since it is World Cup inspired they of course have Brazil, the host country. The line also inlcudesUK, USA, France, Portugal, Argentina and more! But they just released Spain. If you notice these aren’t traditional swim briefs but more Brazilian inspired suits. Similar to the ones you see not the beach in Rio. The Classic cut suit (pictured) has a 12 CM side, which for us Americans makes it in between a brief and a square cut trunk.
CA-RIO-CA has been around for a while and makes really fun swimwear. The World Cup collection is just creative and fun! I love how they focus on more than the big countries of the world. It is not often I see swimwear for Argentina. If you’re a World Cup fan then this line will be calling your name. Just note the pairs aren’t cheap, this pair retails for $84.95. But if you’re a fan it maybe a small price to pay!
Timoteo has made some amazing swimwear this year. he’s been making some really fun pairs like this one the Boardwalk Square cut swimwear. Features model Steven Delher.
We bring you a brand new swim line from model Michael Guapo. Michael has taken his experience wearing some of the best swimwear in the world and he launched Wapo wear this month. We got a chance to ask him a few questions about the new line. Here is the interview we conducted.
You have been a model, what made you start your own swimwear line?
I have been playing with the fact of starting my own brand for a long time now. Since I have a lot of experience in fashion, not only as a model, but also stylist and have been working with some top fashion brands stores. I wanted to used this experience on my own. I also worked with different swimwear brands but since I was always a very creative I always felt like I need to start something mine. Something I would be fully in control with and that is how WAPO was created. In my head and with lot of hard work.
Tell us about your collection you have released?
WAPO is not working with the collection for each season like its usually done. We released a collection of few eclectic designs in the beginning and will add more and more. We want to be able to offer something fresh and new to our customers all over the world during the whole year.
Do you have any favorite pairs in the collection?
It is really difficult to pick just one. I really love all the designs and Im wearing them very often since I love to wear classic low cut swim wear. Every piece is different and unique so everyone can choose the one (or more) which fits his mood and requirements. Im constantly creating a new designs so there is a lot more to come.
What sets Wapo Wear apart from other swimwear lines?
WAPO is a European company. Our products are made from the best quality fabric and all production is made within Europe. Swimwear is handmade and fully lined. This offers the best comfort and also every single piece used for the swimwear is made within Europe. We want to offer the best quality, fresh designs, fitting cut all together.
Are you planning to branch out into underwear?
I definitely have a plans for the future. At the moment Im focusing on a swimwear but since WAPO is a lifestyle brand I would like to expand to underwear and sportswear. Our customers could wear WAPO 24/7 and always feel special and comfortable.
Where can our readers buy your swimwear?
You can buy all WAPO products on www.wapowear.com and at the moment we offer a free international shipping to every order. Also we like to keep in touch with our customers on instagram www.instagram.com/wapo_wear and Facebook www.facebook.com/wapowear where we also post Fan photos and will release some news about collections or possible discounts for the future
Alex this time not only takes on our Swim Brief Challenge but also reviews the Teamm8 Double Dash Swim Brief. The review went well but the pair didn’t fare well after the review. It wasn’t anything Teamm8 did but something Alex did!
We have a few of our readers sharing why they wear swim briefs! This time we have Wyane! He got the new 2WINK Graffiti Xtreme bikini we ran a few weeks ago! Here is what he has to say:
Here’s a pic of me sporting the new 2wink graffiti xtreme swim briefs. Just got them in yesterday. Love them! I always wear this style swimwear to the pool. Why? It allows me to get the best tan possible without getting arrested for indecent exposure. Lol. Just kidding. I’ve had a love for underwear (well over 250 pairs now) for years and I can’t get enough. I love my swim briefs while at the pool simply because if women can wear a skimpy bikini, then so can I. I encourage everyone to try it out. It’s very liberating. And let’s face it… Tan lines are kinda HAWT!!
We wanted to share a great pic about swimwear today! The pair most people have been talking about is the Limited Edition Olympian Super Low Swim Brief by Timoteo. This is one that is really big this season!
We have heard from readers who want to hear real life experiences of guys who are either taking the challenge for the first time or have always worn swim briefs. This is the second. Jonathan posted his pic on the UNB Swim Brief Challenge Facebook page and he agreed to share his experience:
I wear swim briefs partly because I’m an avid swimmer and I spend a lot of time in pools doing laps and regular swim trunks just slow me down. Also, I’m not a shy person so if someone wants to stand there and check out my bulge I’m not one to be discouraged by that haha. I have had lots of comments thrown at me for wearing them as it being a very “European” thing (I live in Canada) or I’m trying to show off or that I shouldn’t run too fast in them. Because I’ll probably pop out of them. At the end of the day, I’m comfortable in my own skin and don’t mind that I’m leaving very little to the imagination when I wear swim briefs. I wear them for a purpose most of the time. Obviously, when I’m swimming with my club I don’t get flack but on public beaches and stuff I’ll get looks and I think people just aren’t used to seeing a lot of people in swim briefs; it’s not the norm so naturally people are going to stick their nose up a little. I love my swim briefs, from Aussiebum, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
Jonathan said the picture was taken in Lismore, Australia.
This is one of my favorite pictures form the UNB Swimwear Shoot! Martin is on the Diving Board in N2N Bodywear and Matt is jumping off in Bwet Swimwear. This was the fun after the shoot! Enjoy and have a great memorial day weekend!
The swim brief challenge is on! We have brought you some really great pairs over the last month and this pair was too much fun not to include. If you are a guy who’s comfortable in swim briefs and love to show off, the Slick It Up Psychic Giraffe brief is just for you! I say this because the pink print will draw plenty of attention to yourself.
The first thing you notice about this pair is the electric print. I mean pink giraffe print is just super fun. Animal prints are either hit or miss with me, but this is a big HIT. The pink overprinted the yellow just is fun. It’s a print I don’t think we’ll see ever again! Partly because it’s a limited edition pair from Slick It Up. The brief also has a built in pouch so it will be comfy all day on the beach or by the pool
Yes, it’s a limited edition pair so if you are interested you better act fast before it’s gone. The second thing I need to talk about is the price. Regular price for the pair is $84. You heard me right 84 big ones. So if this is your first time wearing one you may want to consider another cheaper pair. But, if you want something that will set you apart from the crowd this pair is worth the money. It is unlikely you will see many guys in this suit this summer.
The sizing for Slick It Up runs on the smaller size. It runs small-large and the large ends at size 35! So currently on this pair I’m out of luck but I really want to get one. If you’re looking for something unique and fun this pair is made for you! BTW if you get one take a pic and share with us!
I LOVE Eric Turner. He’s one of the funniest and nicest guys around. I met him in Magic in 2010 when he did some modeling there. Since we are doing the swimwear challenge I had to run this pic. This is Eric shot by Photog Dylan Rosser featuring swimwear from Studio_805.
The UNB Swimwear Guide is not all seriousness. We have a lot of fun. This was shot after we were done with the shoot. Martin is in N2N Bodywear and Matt (jumping off the diving board) in Bwet! I don’t think I got this on Video because I was busy wrapping things up. But Ignaico Rivera Jr. got it on
We bring you another of our behind the scenes look at the UNB Swim Guide Shoot! This time the video features Bwet Swimwear. They have a range from swim briefs to shorts! Check them out and check out the guide
This has been one of the most talked about pairs in the guide! The Honolulu from EROS is a pair you’ll see a lot this summer. The reason is the brief cut has the amazing Hibiscus print on a blue or yellow back ground. It’s going to be one of the must have’s of the swimwear season! Picture features models Matt & Martin and photo taken by me!
We bring you another behind the scenes video today. This time featuring Vuthy Sim Swimwear. If you’re a fan of bikinis and swim briefs you need to check out this brand for sure. It’s not at too many retailers but is on Amazon!
