We all need new undies. Tuesdays are one of the best days to get new undies. Baskit has their $12 Tuesday from Baskit. This week’s awesome pair is the Utility Brief. This is what they say about the line:

True story: there are layers of fabric between you and taking care of business. Sometimes you’re in a hurry or on the run and you just want to let it fly! You want easy access. You got it!

Our Utility collection has a functioning fly-front pouch that lets you get right to the matter at hand. So, no more pulling down the waistband or fishing through the leg opening when nature calls. Ahh, the utility and ease of it all. But why shouldn’t convenience and style go hand in hand? Don’t worry, they do. Each pair of Utility combines flair and function.

Who knew everyday life could be so simple and look so good?

At my old day job, I learned about how to make and edit videos, both live streams, and recorded videos. This, of course, made me brainstorm ideas for UNB. I have a ton of ideas, but I hit a brick wall when I realized the problems we have had in the past.

Over the 11 years of UNB, we have had several videos get a Terms of Service (TOS) violation on YouTube. At first, this made mad because it was a strike against us. Then I realized it doesn’t matter because we can’t monetize our videos. Yup, you heard me. Due to the nature of our videos, we must mark them with “age restriction,” and when you do this, you are not eligible for monetization.

Yup, it’s a catch-22. You can’t have your videos on the site without getting removed to give you a strike, and therefore, can’t monetize. But, if you mark your videos as age-restricted, you can’t monetize either.

This is bad because there is a massive audience on YouTube. No other service has the reach or eyes that YouTube can deliver. I can hear some of you say, go to Vimeo. We are there, a lot of our “questionable” videos for YouTubego. I have the adage, when in doubt Vimeo. But, they don’t have the audience of Youtube.

One of our biggest videos was the Just /b/ Trunk review. It had a few hundred thousand views on YouTube before they dinged it for a TOS violation. I appealed, but they denied it. I placed it on Vimeo, and we have nowhere near that amount. This video has been on Vimeo longer than YouTube. I’m not knocking Vimeo, they are fantastic, and I have never had any issues with them. I think more creators need to go there.

This brings me to my dilemma. I have ideas for several video projects. I know that some of them will not be appropriate for YouTube. Do I post it on YouTube and take my chances? Post on Vimeo, or do I go to the third option a paysite (Patreon or Only fans).

Video content isn’t easy or cheap to make. I know ways to cut costs, but there is still overhead and production time. I would lean towards Patreon and not Onlyfans. Only fans you need content all the time. The content I would be doing would be every few weeks to monthly.

Before I start the work of developing, I am going to research more. If you are a creator, where are you sharing your videos? What have you found to be successful with content that may not be “suitable” for YouTube?

Do you remember the N2N Raider line? It’s one of the more popular line they have had over the years. The fabric is a mesh like design. It’s more like cut outs than mesh. If you recall they used to have this one in pink in the 2000’s. It was one of their most iconic pairs ever!

The Raider line is back, and here is what’s new: “Our latest 2.0 version is crafted from a thinner, stretchier fabric. Super sexy, super see thru…with those glorious holes!” The new line shows off a bit more than the previous lines. For some of you, this will be a new selling feature! N2N Bodywear is all about making you feel sexy and fun.

There are only two styles in the new Raider collection, the bikini and thong. I think they are two fo the most popular styles for today and the brand. I wish that it came in more colors but we can hope later this year for another color, like green or red!

This pic is from the first an only Valentine’s Guide we ever shot. This was another learning experience. The first thing I learned is it’s too much of a turn around from the holidays to get the Valentine’s Day pairs, get them shot and published. A lot of the pairs don’t come out till the first part of February. It also taught me about models we had one fall out and we would experience this so many times in the next few shoots. lastly, this shoot taught me never bite off more than you can chew. We can’t shoot 50 pairs in a day, we need to keep it under 30 and get more models! This shot features Baskit

Rating: 10/10

  • Fit: 10 (Waistband 10.0, Legstraps 10.0, Pouch 10.0)
  • Sizing: 10 (Waistband 10.0, Legstraps 10.0, Pouch 10.0)
  • Construction: 10
  • Styling: 10
  • Performance: 10 (Gym/Workout 10.0, Night Out 10, Everyday 10.0, Casual 10.0)

Pros: Pouch breathes exceptionally well, leg straps don’t cut into glutes, excellent pouch support

Cons: Manufacturing tag needs to be a tear-off, not a plastic sheet needing to be cut off.

Jockstrap Junkie recommendation: Jack Adams created a nice all-around jockstrap that is both function and fashion. Very few jockstraps I’ve tried over the years hit all of the requirements I have for a jock, and the Nano Jockstrap knocked it out of the park.

This is my second round trying Jack Adams jockstraps. Several years ago, I tried one of their jocks and found out that I didn’t have enough ass to fill it up. Fast forward to today, I’ve done enough squats to justify owning multiple Jack Adams jockstraps. The Nano Jockstrap is a great all-around jockstrap, especially during the hot & humid summer months. The micro-mesh pouch provides excellent support while allowing the bat & balls to breathe. Another great feature of the micro-mesh is that you don’t feel like the boys are getting pushed through a strainer as with other mesh pouch jockstraps.

I wore the Nano Jockstrap while doing everything over the summer, and this jock has been in my normal rotation of jocks, and it gets worn about once a week. Whether you’re working out, mowing the lawn, hanging out & being lazy, or out on the town, Jack Adams hit a home run because you’ll be comfortable in all aspects. The breathability is the biggest asset of this jockstrap.

Micro-mesh is fantastic, being constructed from 67% Lyocell/33% Cotton, you get great support and no swamp nuts. The pouch is single-layered with a center seam as well as an accent stripe in one of the pouch corners along with contrasting piping pouch edge for a nice look. A 1-7/8″ waistband and 1-1/8″ leg straps construct this classic silhouette with the leg straps attaching under the waistband, creating a nice eye-line around the waist. On the waistband, the ‘jack adams’ name is prominently displayed on the front of the jockstrap.

Jack Adams offers the Nano Jockstrap in sizes ranging from Small to X-Large. I purchased a large and the fit is perfect. For those of us with larger glutes, the Nano Jockstrap is awesome because the leg straps don’t dig into your butt cheeks. When wearing all day outside, active, and sweating, the pouch maintains its shape and support. A word of caution for those who don’t have much junk in the trunk, this jockstrap may not be a good fit as the leg straps may sag on you.

The Jack Adams Nano Jockstrap is a nice addition to the underwear drawer. Whether you wear it in the bedroom, the boardroom, or the gym, you won’t be disappointed.

What are three things we love here at UNB? The first is undies of course. The second is pink undies, which are awesome. The third and last is buying undies that part of the proceeds go to charity! You can have a good conscious and buy those undies you want! Tell your partner “Hey this is to support charity!”

2(X)IST is celebrating National Great Cancer Month. They are giving form 10-50% of proceeds of pink underwear (both men’s and women’s) to the Breast Cancer Charities of America. There are quite a few fun pairs on sale> They range from solids to prints, trunks to thongs, and more!

Shop the pink pairs at 2(X)IST.

Our very first swimwear shoot was a bit of a disaster. You wouldn’t know it by the pics we got but it was the day of the Rapture in 2012. May 21, 2012 to be exact. The first photog fell through, I got the gear back and then found another an we went through 4 models before we got one. Next was the location we were supposed to be on a boat on Lake Lanier but we ended up at a friend of a friends house. These early shoots taught me a lot. The swim briefs are by N2N Bodywear.

Mesh Never goes out of style! There are always brands introducing new pairs of mesh, the latest is JOR. They have released a line of bikinis and tanks in mesh. I will admit the bikinis are pretty hot! They are skimpy and fun, as a bikini should be!

The new Tango Bikini is a traditional bikini cut. You bikini fans can rejoice and be happy! The fabric of the pair is colored mesh with a solid trim on the waist and legs. The trim is in a really cool contrasting color. It is pretty awesome. I think many of you would agree.

The four colors of both the Tango bikini and tank are purple, black, blue and turquoise. It’s refreshing to see them use some different color meshes in their designs. I love them all. You could pair the tank with shorts or jeans for a night out with the bikinis. It would give someone a surprise if they get to see you with your pants off!

Just yesterday, I was talking about UNB turning 11! How, in the last few years, I have gotten to know the industry. And that the most significant thing that I don’t like is going through old brands that are no longer around. We have a new brand to add to that list, and it’s an iconic brand, Prevail Sport

Prevail Sport is a brand that has been around since before the internet. I remember getting their catalog back in the day. They transitioned to the internet and have a big and loyal following. The other day they sent out an email that said:

After 30 years of giving you your favorite swimwear, underwear, and thongs, Prevail Sport is saying goodbye. We have loved everything on this journey, but it’s time to retire and put our feet up.

We are no longer buying new fabrics or supplies, so when our products run out, they will simply be gone. We don’t know when our last day will be. All we know is when the last product is Sold, we are closing the doors for good.

Prevail Sport Email

It was shocked they were closing, as are many of you who are reading this for the first time. As mentioned in their statement, Prevail Sport has been doing this for 30 years. That means they started in 1989 (Like I said pre-internet).

The strange thing is they are based in Atlanta, and I never met them. Which you think being in the hometown, we would find a time to meet up. Well, I wish them the best and kick your feet up and relax, you deserve it after 30 years of making awesome gear.

Everything will be going, and once gone, the end of another era in underwear goes with it. If you are a fan of the brand, leave a comment on what they mean to you or your favorite pair.
