Fun is all about enjoyment, pleasure and excitement. SUPAWEAR is the brand that evokes that kind of emotion. We choose colour combinations that challenges traditions and put them together like a comic book supahero! Each underwear collection is crafted for pleasure to the wearer.
The core focus is on fun with original designs for guys who aren’t a follower but a trendsetter. A guy who is confident and isn’t afraid to stand out. Our underwear collection is vibrant, sexy and colourful. We offer a large range of designs for every different day of the week so you can dress or undress for the occasion and mood.
Do you have a Philosophy about creating underwear? If so what is it?
Yes! We always take into account who is wearing it and why would they wear it. Underwear for us is not just a necessity but also an extension of one’s personality or ego. It represents their style and mood for the day. A good pair of underwear can lift your mood and gives you that extra skip and hop to your stride.
In one of your recent pairs/lines, what was the inspiration behind creating it?(tell the story on what inspired you and how you turned that into a pair of underwear)
SUPACHARGE UNDERWEAR
What was the spark of inspiration?
SUPACHARGE was inspired by comic character flash. We made sure the underwear looked like it was drawn on with a thick black marker. The collection is vibrant and fun with a twist.
How was this inspiration designed on paper?
We had a clear direction from the beginning for this collection. We wanted this collection to be charged with vibrant colours.
What changes took place to the pair during the production?
Colour is important and we must have complimenting colours so they don’t compete or clash. C0lours may look good on paper but the physical representation may be different. We often modify colours slightly to make sure we have the right balance. Our fits are usually consistent and we try not to alter it too much.
Who was involved with the process? Did someone have the inspiration and design? Or did someone have the inspiration and then someone else design?
We always work collaboratively on all collections. We have a team that works on the idea/ story and the designers will go off doing their magic. We will then discuss and modify the colours for the final collection.
How did the final product improve on the initial inspiration?
We always have fitting samples, fabric samples, fitting samples and production samples. We will make modification on paneling and colour selection during these steps. This is part of the everyday running of all our underwear. We always have several samples before final production so that the final piece is always perfect.
If this is a pair you designed before the previous collection, how did it influence other pairs/lines going forward. If a new pair, is this pair/line going to influence more collections in the future.
We always review the success of each collection a few months after it is launch and try to deconstruct why it did well. We will take that learning to our next collection. We normally read reviews and speak to our retail buyers. They love to tell us how to improve our fits.

SALVATORE Recommendation: This was my first pair of COCKSOX. I can’t believe I waited so long to add this brand to the collection. I am truly impressed. I wore the CX15 Mesh Brief around the house all day and decided to go ahead and give them a shot in the gym. The brief stayed in place and the mesh panels provided a very cool and breezy workout. This cuts down on sweat and odor while working out and allows for a more enjoyable experience.
Construction: The guys at COCKSOX do everything they can to provide the best of the best when it comes to how they put their underwear together. Not a single detail is left out as they sew and stitch some of the world’s finest men’s underwear. I usually see a diminished quality when brands work with mesh. This brief, however, is impeccable.
Fabric: The 95% Nylon and 5% Spandex blend is absolutely perfect. What’s not to love about its sleek appearance and soft touch? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! The blend is stretchy and form fitting giving you the lift you need with a natural feel. Soft to the touch and sturdy enough for a workout—sounds like a great combination to me.
Sizing: The sizing on this brief is true. I got what I ordered and will never second-guess the fit of anything I purchase from COCKSOX. Order exactly what their website has for measurements and you are sure to be pleased.
Pouch: The pouch is what makes or breaks a good pair of underwear in my opinion. I am no stranger to judging pouches by their appearance and almost always have a perfect eye. Honestly, COCKSOX appears to give an uncomfortable pointy look to the pouch that seems binding and uncomfortable. Don’t be fooled! The pouch is perfect for the anatomical lover. I enjoyed and it and can’t believe how well this pouch fits.
Daily Wear: I’d feel comfortable wearing this bikini cut brief to any function and under anything. The thin elastic leg bands and low-rise cut waist ensure no embarrassing lines. This is important if you’re like me and wear a few different outfits a day. Wear them to the gym, to work, out on the town, or even under board shorts. They are great for almost any occasion.

UNB Tim recommendation: This is a great pair for daily wear. It can be worn to work as equally as well on a date. It won’t loose it’s shape. Some mesh pairs can be made to be worn for an hour or more, this one I wore well over 12 hours and it felt great from the start till the end of the day. It’s also a perfect pair for a guy wanting to dip his toe in the mesh underwear world.
I am continuing the reviews of some of the latest Cocksox. So far they have been pretty good pairs. One of the newest lines is the Mesh line. I got the honor to review the CX75 Mesh Sports brief in white. It was one I have been curious about trying for some time now. It looked super sexy and a lot of fun.
The first thing I noticed was that this isn’t the same pouch in the CX01 briefs. It’s a more subtle pouch, meaning you won’t put everything out there. This maybe a bonus for some of you guys out there. Also, another thing that caught my eye was the tag. There is no tag in the back, it’s printed on the pouch. I thought this was a great touch. I can’t tell you how many times I have gotten mesh briefs, to only cut the tag out of the back.
I wore this to a somewhat active day. As I said above the pouch wasn’t as bulgy. The mesh wasn’t as stretchy as I thought it was going to be. This isn’t a bad thing but I expected something lighter and stretchier. However, it still fit great, I was not let down at all. It was a pleasant surprise for me. The mesh brief held up well to my running some errands and working. It’s a sexy pair that is made for a date night but designed for everyday wear as well. And, isn’t that the point of underwear to feel amazing and sexy each day.
Another area that worried me at first was the waistband. Having the fabric not be as stretchy, I wondered if it would stay up. I have reviewed pairs similar where the waistband couldn’t take all day wear. My fears were put to rest at the end of the day. The pair remained in place all day.
Speaking of fabric, this pair is made out of a 95% Nylon 5% Spandex. I received the white pair. It’s also available in black and red. The white seems to be the one that shows off less on me. Depending on skin tone you may have one that shows less than other pairs.
Sizing was spot on. It’s rare that I have had a pair that felt too small. I received and XL and it fit me to a T. Their sizing has been pretty consistent over the years. If you check the size chart, you should be confident the pair you get will fit you well.
I really enjoyed the brief. It held up to all day wear. It made me feel great all day. It is definitely a date night pair. I just need someone to wear it for! If you’re a fan of Cocksox and mesh, this is the pair for you. Also, if you want to try mesh for the first time. This is a great starter pair.

We introduced this bikini a little while back, but thought it was worth another shout out. What do you think of when you hear the underwear brand JOR? What comes to my mind with the brand JOR is their wide elastic waistbands with their name on it. That type of waistband is a turnoff for me when it comes to bikini or thong underwear. So I am excited that JOR has introduced a bikini in their line up that is to my liking. For those of you that are like me, you’ll want to check out JOR’s new bikini underwear called Tayrona (0314). It’s what I consider a true bikini.
This bikini is a low rise style with full frontal coverage and contoured pouch that supports and defines. The backside does show off a little of the cheeks. Always a great feature for a bikini. It’s made out of a super soft, stretch microfiber fabric that is 96% polyester and 4% spandex. They say it is soft and resilient and retains shape and color through wash and wear. The bikinis are handmade in Colombia of USA and Colombian fabrics.
I’m also not one that likes to advertise the brand I am wearing, so I like how JOR does the branding on these bikinis. They have a small tag with the JOR star and name, which is nice and subtle. You have the choice of three colors: Candy (pink), Orange, or White. All three colors have accent stitching that runs the outside edge of the bikini. I think it adds a bit of character to them. They’re available in sizes small to extra large.
If you like low rise underwear and want a lean cut with a sexy edge then check out the JOR 0314 Tayrona bikini. It’s the first true bikini underwear I’ve seen introduced from JOR. Let’s make this a popular pair for JOR, so they introduce more of this style without the thick elastic waistband.

For some reason wearing a thong created somewhat of an exhibitionist of me. Kind of like how when you get a new outfit or a funky new hairdo, you want people to notice and compliment you in the ways you’re trying to stand out from the rest of the pack.
On less than a handful of occasions, I’ve seen a guy on the beach wearing a thong. I’ve always wanted to go up to them to let them know how awesome I thought it was that they had the courage to wear one on a public beach for one and all to see. I envied that courage. To date, I’ve only had the courage to bare my thong on semi-private beaches.
The first time I intended to wear one on the beach I wasn’t sure I was going to go through with it. I put on my blue Joe Snyder thong, one that doubles as both underwear and swimwear. Over that I put on a pair of gym shorts, which felt rather fantastic to wear over a thong might I add, and a light colored summery tank top. I loaded up my backpack with some water, reading material, and hiking boots (I’ll explain) and hopped in my car feeling both nervous and excited.
The beach I chose to go to was a nude beach called Black’s Beach in San Diego, California. I figured this beach offered me the best opportunity of feeling comfortable enough to wear a thong since nearly everyone else would be stark naked. I wouldn’t have to worry about my peers judging me or scaring any kids.
Getting to Black’s Beach isn’t exactly easy. You either have to go to the beach just North or South of it and walk there during low tide or you can hike down a rather steep and rugged trail directly above the beach. Being in my late twenties at the time and in relatively decent shape I chose the trail and hence the hiking boots.
I got down to the beach and it was a perfect Southern California day. The kind of day that would feel real nice on bare skin. There weren’t too many people on the beach because it was still relatively early in the day so I found as private a spot as I could find and laid my towel down. One deep breath and away my shorts went.
It was exhilarating really. My heart was beating out of my chest and I was smiling from coast-to-coast. I laid down on my stomach and just kind of took in the moment. I literally said out loud, “this is awesome!”. The sensation of the gentle breeze and the warm sun on my bum was amplified by the newness of the experience. I laid my head down, still smiling like a complete idiot, and began to succumb to the newfound comforts of sunbathing in a thong.
Oh my goodness, I can hear someone walking down the beach! They’re going to walk right by me! Stay calm. Quit freaking out. You’re on a nude beach for christsake man, relax. Just act cool, no big deal. You’re wearing a thong; showing some skin; so is everybody else!
My heart was definitely racing. I kept my head down but my ears had turned into NASA spec satellite dishes tuned to the direction of the beach walkers. I was just waiting for some kind of whispered comment remarking on how gross that guy is for wearing a thong.
They came and they went. No remark. No nothing. Just casual conversation between two people walking on a beach on a beautiful day.
Every person that walked by, my near heart attack lessened and lessened until my mind and body shifted back to that warm California sun.
It wasn’t long before I had the courage to get up and jump into the surf for a little while. Again, this new sensation of the cool ocean water enveloping my skin uninhibited by board shorts was simply amazing. It was freedom. It was joy. It was self-discovery.
So, I wore a thong to a nude beach. Kind of cheating right? I kind of feel like it is anyway. There is a beach much closer to my house than Black’s Beach. It’s the one I frequent most of the time when I go to the beach. It’s a gorgeous beach with the perfect amount of sandy shoreline in between some pretty cool beachfront properties and the Pacific Ocean.
It was the middle of a work week and I had the day off. I thought it a fantastic idea to hit the beach for a few hours because it was the kind of day where the ocean was calling to me.
Middle of the week. Day off. Sparsely populated beach.
On went the blue Joe Snyder thong. Over that, blue Joe Snyder briefs (insurance man), and over that, the socially acceptable board shorts. Let’s see how many layers I’ll peel off when I get there.
I got there and there were slightly more people than I was expecting. Can’t blame ‘em, it was a postcard day. I searched and searched for a spot I would feel comfortable in wearing a thong. The best I could do was a spot with a solo, 20’s – 30’s, female who was getting some sun in her bikini within about 30 feet. It wasn’t a thong. I’m not sure if it would have made a difference in the outcome, but I thought it worth noting.
Well, I got down to the briefs. I just couldn’t pull it off. It made a huge difference to me that there were more people than at Black’s and that they all had on “normal” swimwear. I agonized over my lack of courage for a little while. But then I closed my eyes and enjoyed the sun.
Someday, I thought. Someday for sure, I assured myself.
So what would it take for that someday to be today? It’s a great question really. I think for me the biggest obstacle is body image. If I feel I look fantastic in a thong then I think I would have way less of an issue wearing a thong more publicly. So I have a lot of work to do, probably mostly emotionally, but also in the gym and in the kitchen. And to be honest, feeling ready to wear a thong on the beach, any beach is a pretty good source of motivation along with my desire to please my wife by wearing one. My previous experiences at Black’s and wanting to see my wife excited about seeing my cheeks on the beach are powerful sources of motivation. My weight fluctuates like the ocean tides and I have been in a leaner form before. So every day I grind to get back to that place of confidence and free-spiritedness that I enjoyed previously.
Am I implying that men shouldn’t wear thongs on the beach unless they’re underwear models? Of course not! This is just my issue. I am straight up proud of any guy, any shape or size, who has the confidence to thumb social protocol and bare those cheeks on the beach.
I often think about organizing a beach day for all the guys, and their girlfriends or boyfriends, in my little corner of Southern California who want to wear a thong on the beach but just haven’t had the courage to. Maybe we can all benefit from a collective source of courageous energy. What an amazing day that would be. Someday for sure.
The thing with saying Someday about this or anything else for that matter is this: Tomorrow, and thus, Someday is never guaranteed. So YOLO man! This goes for me as much as anyone else: Fellas, if you want to wear a thong on the beach, do it! If there are obstacles in your path to doing so, destroy them, demolish them, annihilate them and feel that sun on your buns!

Pros: Great design, Ergonomic pouch design, designed to make you feel sexy
Cons: Not many may wear it to the gym, I had issues getting it on but its user error.
Recommendation: If you’re looking for a super sexy jock. Any jock from Sukrew is for you. The design is made to make you feel sexy. I’m not sure guys will be wearing this to the gym. It’s more of a date night or play night pair. I think fashion jocks are taking the jock to the next level.
Let’s face it jocks really aren’t designed for working out anymore. They are more fashion than function. This is a good thing because there is so much more that can be done with jocks. One company taking their own spin on the jock is Sukrew. I was looking forward to wearing the jock. I have tried a few pairs of Sukrew and the pouch is always amazing.
Before I delve into the review. Let me say for jocks with straps that attach to the pouch like these. I always have issues with. Is it design? Nope, it’s more user error. When I slid these on they felt a bit funky. I messed up the straps (see above) and the pouch felt funny. After a few seconds of adjustment, I got situated. The pouch that I knew from the other pairs became apparent. I really liked the fit and feel.
I wore these to my part time job that is a little more active than running UNB. The support they gave were great. My one annoyance is the waistband kept ridding up a little in the back. I think this was because I had to bend over a lot that day. The pouch feels great. Sukrew has their own design that if it’s not ergonomic it’s pretty darn close.
The design is pretty cool. I have to finally learn to put these on. I don’t have too many jocks like this and I think I can just slide it on like a regular jock. You have to adjust the straps so the fit just right. After 2-3 minutes of me cussing and fidgeting. It’s set up as it should be. The color of the style is black with red. I love how they have the red on the side of the pouch. Sukrew has a really great design philosophy. The design philosophy for this jock is “Designed with an elastic ‘X’ over the pelvis this jock is intended to give a sexual focal point to the garment.” If you don’t feel sexy in this, well you’re not wearing it right!
The sizing is really great with Sukrew. I got an XL and it fit me pretty darn good. It’s been my experience that they are consistent with sizing. You won’t have to worry about sizing from different styles and lines. Everyone I had fit me pretty well.

Gregg Homme is back with a new fun and interesting new line of underwear. Gregg Homme is known for their unconventional designs that can leave little to the imagination. This new line is the Wild West line. When I first saw this collection my first thought it wow those look interesting. The thong with fringe is what really got my attention. The Wild West line is available right now for people to get their hands on.
The Wild West line is made to look like it has been crafted from deer skin. The pairs of underwear are all made with fake suede material. The line comes in brief, thong, and string. The briefs are made in a sumo style so they wrap around your body covering your butt and crotch. That makes the pair more interesting and reminds me of an older time before everything was cut perfectly to fit us. The string features a T-back, as well as a pouch that has a bow in the middle of the top. The thong is the most fun pair with fringe hanging all over its pouch. It features a similar back to the string, just more coverage on the front. The thong and briefs each feature faux leather on the waistband and a metal Gregg Homme label. The string features a fake leather waistband with metal Gregg Homme label on the side. The pairs all come in a tan and black color.
This line is going to be more of a novelty thing to wear when you are having a sexy night. The string and briefs may be able to be worn other places, but the thong with its fringe would be hard to go out in. I think a special someone would find these pairs fun if you were to come out wearing them.
I love that this line brings back the look of Wild West. The fringe on the thong seems really fun and unique. It would also draw your eye to your package for sure wearing the thong. I also enjoy the look of the briefs. They look extremely comfortable and have a style that is not seen anymore. The string looks sexy and fun when you want to show off and have some fun.
Overall this looks like a really fun and unique line of underwear. The sumo look of the briefs and fringe on the thong make these pairs fun to look at. You can get these pairs of underwear right now on Gregg Homme’s website.
