A LOOK BACK ATIt’s been quite a year at UNB. Like most things there were ups and downs through out the year. 2015 also marked the 7th year of doing UNB. Which is in sane to me! On one hand it doesn’t seem I have been doing it that long and on the other I can’t picture my life without doing it! I think this past year has made me look at where we have come and where we are going. Which may sound ominous, but we always have something up our sleeve!

Here is my Look Back of what happened this year!

Magic Feb 2015 – February is the BIG show of the year. Its the one more brands go too. It was great seeing brands that I only get to see once a year. It was the last time that Curve was a separate show. There were always one or two men’s brands at Curve, now they have moved on to other shows. While I still go to Curve its not like the old days where you could spend a full day covering brands. One of my highlights of the trip was going out to eat the the N2N guys. Whom I love each of them. They are amazing! This was also the trip I came down with Bronchitis on the last day of the show. Let me tell you there is nothing worse than traveling sick!

DrawerFull.com March Show – In Vegas I got the chance to meet the guys behind Drawerfull.com. They were doing a show on March 6th. The weekend before the winter storm hit Lexington, KY and it was iffy up until that morning. I kept checking the weather and road conditions and chanced it. I drove up and until I really got to the Kentucky state line there wasn’t much snow. The drive up wasn’t too bad. I went to the show took pics and had a great time. It was a really great show.

Swim Guide – Our guides have constantly improved. Our Swimwear was shot in May with four great models. It also marked the last time, for a while, that Matt helped with the shoots. At the time I didn’t know he would be taking a great job and be unable to help. He’s been a mainstay in UNB Guide shoots for the last few years. SHH don’t tell him I miss him greatly. He secured a great location and we had some amazing brands. the whole guide turned out amazing! We had Chandler, Michael and Nathan returns and the addition of Bobby. The brands sent great suits, Clever, WildmanT, JOR, aussieBum, N2N Bodywear, Modus Vivendi and Junk UnderJeans.  It was shot by Taylor Campbell.

UndiEdit 15-7

Clever Shoot w/ Damien – We branched out a little and did a shoot with Damien (from our Holiday Guide) with photographer Ignacio Rivera Jr. We found a great loft in Downtown Atlanta to shoot. The shoot turned out great! We had four pairs and after doing guide shoots, having just 4 pairs was easy and we could take our time! The pictures turned out great and we hope to do more!

Fox style discover

Fox Style videos – We launched the Fox Style videos. This was something I was super proud of helping create. We picked the right person to do fashion and design a look around a pair of underwear. The first one was done on the site but it really didn’t take off until we did the videos. It was amazing. We had a slight set back at the end of the year and hope to relaunch them in 2016. We have been talking to Fox Michaels and hope to be back on track in the New Year. His schedule went crazy with work, travel and such.

Magic Aug 2015 – Vegas in summer is always HOT. Luckily this time I didn’t come down with Bronchitis! This show was one of the smallest shows ever. Which for me was a good thing. I expanded the shows I attended from 2 to 4. In addition from just Magic and Curve. I attended Liberty and Mrkt. This made my first day really long. I went to the Venetian and got both passes to each show. Luckily Liberty and Mrkt registration areas were side by side. I spent the morning meeting Wood underwear, Nasty Pig. After that I went to check out Curve at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Previously it was held at the Sands Expo space aka Venetian as I call it. If you have never been to the Las Vegas Convention center, consider yourself lucky. Its is the most monstrous building. I had to walk all the way to the back. Little did I know it was so big they have a shuttle service that takes you around the building. It was very different than years past. The following days I spent at Magic. It was great having less brands from the stand point I got to hang out and talk with a few brands. We got the amazing video from Junk UnderJeans of their model stripping.

IMG_8536

Holiday Guide – Its always odd to me that we shoot the holiday guide at the end of October/beginning of November. As I mentioned above this was the first shoot without Matt. I had to recruit all the models and find a place. Matt has a knack of finding amazing places. Over October I secured the models. Chandler and Damien we have worked with before and new guys Drew, Wes and Pat. Plus we had all the brands secured. Clever, Pikante, Ergowear, N2N Bodywear, Jack Adams, Junk UnderJeans, YOCISCO, BearSkn and BüLGE Clothing. The one thing missing was a location. At first I thought a hotel room again, but the ones with suites were way out of our price range. On top of that there were only so many options for a hotel room. Then it hit me a studio. I found MAPS Studio and we went basic. The pictures turned out great! The classic white back ground was amazing. The new guys worked out well. We hopefully will do some new projects with them in 2016. This also was the fastest shoot we have ever done. Most holiday shoots last 3-4 hours due to the number of pieces we have to shoot. This lasted just over 2 hours!

These are just the highlights of what happened this year! Many more things happened this year but I wanted to focus on the highlights and good things of the year! We look forward to 2016. We def need your help going forward! More on that in the new year!

ACORN
We got a chance to talk to three thong lovers, The Bottom Drawer, BikinisNThongs and UnderwearDude. If you are on Twitter we are sure you have seen any or all of these guys in thongs. We wanted to talk to three real guys who love thongs and have a great conversation about the most overlook style for men’s underwear. A lot who read this blog love them but the general public still lacks acceptance. We talk about a little bit of everything! Enjoy the talk
Thongs for men have been around for a while but in the last 20 years they have started reaching a boarder audience. When did you guys first discover thongs? (such as see them, not necessarily buy them). What was your initial reaction?

The Bottom Drawer: I discovered thongs for men back in college probably 1997 or 1998 when checking out the Undergear/International Male website. By this time I was a couple years into really enjoying string bikini underwear that I wouldn’t say it was a complete surprise discovering them. Of course the question that everyone seems to have “how can a piece of fabric between the cheeks be comfortable?” came to mind. Not that this question did anything to sway my interest in wanting to try them. It was more of a challenge to find the answer to the question and knowing that women seem to be fine with wearing them added to my desire of getting my hands on a pair.

UnderwearDude: I first discovered thongs entirely in middle school, either through the victorias secret catalogue or via the internet. I didn’t see one in the flesh until high school, ha. In regards to the male variety, while I had heard of “banana hammocks” and the strippers that supposedly worse them, I didn’t see any man thong’s till I began to look for new underwear options online sometime around late high school/ early college, so say, somewhere around 2006.  I was confused. many of them at the places that popped up earliest on google did look like something a stripper would wear, but eventually I discovered more sensible options. I remember being wired out by them, but found the front look of them to be quite enticing. I read all the reviews I could find on some of the more popular pairs, and was surprised at how many guys liked them.
I’ll admit, that when I first saw man thongs, I wasn’t enthused. I was in the firm camp of the “thongs are for girls unless your a stripper” side. Also, I had heard for quite awhile that many women found thongs super uncomfortable. Many only wore them to prevent VPL So why were guys wearing them? We don’t have to worry about visible panty lines normally.
Bikinisnthongs: Looks like I was the first to discover them. I’m a bit older, so that only makes sense. I saw my first thong in high school, so early ’90s. I was really attracted to the bikini style I saw in catalogs and saved up some money to buy some — asking mom was not an option. I went to the local K-Mart and strolled into the underwear section. There they were! I grabbed what I thought was a 3-pack of bikinis and made my way to the cashier, trying to get out of the store as quickly as possible to avoid any potential embarassment. When I got home to try them on, I realized they weren’t bikinis at all. Confused, I tried them on anyway.
They were tiny, kinda stretchy, zebra striped, and had an elastic string up my butt (the other two pairs were snakeskin and cheetah). That string wasn’t very comfortsble, but I remember the intense feeling of sexiness that rushed over me. I knew I would never be happy in tighty whities again!
Sadly, my parents found them a few months later and threw them in the garbage. 🙁
It wasn’t until college when the International Male catalog mysteriously showed up that I tried a thing again. These were much more comfortable and started my “obsession”.
What made you guys buy them for the first time? Bikinisnthongs mentioned he got them by mistake but when did you go to the store or shop on line specifically for a thong? What brand did you buy?

BikinisnthongsAside from the accidental purchase (which I don’t count), I made my first purchase from the International Male catalog. I wasn’t looking for anything specific. I wasn’t even shopping to buy underwear. I received the magical catalog out of the blue and was flipping through the pages when I came across the underwear section. I was mesmerized — stunned. All of the thoughts of the sexy feeling I had several years ago returned. The thongs for sale were different though. They had more material in the back, so I wanted to try one hoping they were more comfortable. I ended up ordering a couple (and a couple bikinis) from the cotton contour line. I think I still have one of the thongs!
After receiving those, I made several other thong purchases from the catalogs — the Internet wasn’t the shopping haven that it is now. I think my first online purchase was also from International Male/Undergear when they first launched the websites.
Bottom Drawer: Basically the same sex appeal that got me into wearing bikinis. I’ve always enjoyed seeing women in them that when I discovered they were available for guys I wanted to give them a try. Also the desire to answer the comfort question. Like Bikinis ‘N Thongs, I found my first pair at International Male/Undergear. It was soon after I discovered them on their website I made my purchase with some bikinis. Technically it was a g-string I got in red and I think it was branded International Male. Then probably a few months later after deciding that I did enjoy the g-string,  I discovered a website selling the Magic Silk brand, which I got a couple traditional thongs from. Then the buying continued as I found other places to buy.
UnderwearDude: I bought them because I was curious about thongs. I really liked how they looked from the front. I was also curious about how they felt, as I had seen numerous rave reviews from guys about how they only wore thongs after trying them. Additionally, getting one was a bit of the taboo in it, as they are usually a girl thing. I don’t have good memory, so this may not be quite true, but I believe my first thong was by Polo Ralph Lauren and was purchased on eBay.
You guys mentioned some great brands you started with. What qualities do you look for when you shop for thongs?
Bikinisnthongs: I’ll admit that I’ve gotten pretty picky about my thongs. Here’s what I look for:
  • good, comfortable fabric. No more 100% cotton. They tend not to fit well, especially over time.
  • decent width to the back. Gone are the days of a string between my cheeks (probably why I’m not a fan of g-strings!).
  • roomy pouch. While I’m not huge, I don’t like to be smooshed either. However, I am not a fan of the latest “torpedo” pouch trend.
  • rich colors or interesting patterns.
Or I look for a thong that’s unique, one of a kind.
Underwear dude: The main thing I look at in a thong is the styling. I don’t want a banana hammock style thong, or something outrageous. I like clean lines, a classy look. Color can matter as well. A nice color or color selection on a pair can make all the difference. I also stay away from the G-string subsection of thongs.
Bottom Drawer: I typically look for the more traditional cut thong. Like everyone else, I’m not a real fan of the g-string. Mostly because of how it looks on than comfort. Then I look for back straps at least under an inch wide though if the fabric is right a wider one can still work. Fabrics with a bit of a stretch or soft to the touch are good things to have in a thong too. Again like the rest color and/or pattern selection is a factor.
Now that we know what you guys really like about thongs, have you shared your love of thongs with other guys? If so has it been negative, positive or neutral? Any of those friends wear them or expressed interest in trying?
Now that we know what you guys really like about thongs, have you shared your love of thongs with other guys? If so has it been negative, positive or neutral? Any of those friends wear them or expressed interest in trying?

Bottom Drawer:I’ve only shared my love for thongs on my blog and with my wife and not in person to any friends as of yet. My blogging experience with people has all been positive. Also been positive with the wife :-)! Only personal thong talk I’ve heard is typically a friend inquiring to a woman about how they can be comfortable and nothing more came out of the conversation.
Underwear Dude: I’ve only shared my interest in thongs on social media, mainly twitter and my blog. I think it’s positive, at least to a degree. It’s kinda funny: Quite a few guys say they don’t wear thongs, but guys in thongs seem to be quite popular image wise. Also, a good amount of my blog traffic seems to come from those curious about/love thongs. Since I haven’t ever told my friends about my underwear habits, I have no idea if any of them would be interested in the idea.
BikinisNThongs: I have shared my love of thongs with guys that I’ve dated and even some friends.  Some of the guys that I’ve dated tried them for themselves and others haven’t.  Some like how I looked in them and some (really only one – he called it “butt floss”  LOL) didn’t.  I don’t think any of the reactions were negative – more neutral to positive.  A couple of the guys that have tried them did enjoy wearing them and still wear them to this day.
Friends are somewhat of a different story.  None of them have tried them, as far as I know – at least not as a result of our discussions.
I have also shared my love of thongs on social media.  The reaction there is mostly positive.  I think that’s because I’m reaching other guys who also have interest in thongs and it something we have in common.
You guys all love thongs and each share it in social more than in real life. How can we make thongs more acceptable for guys to wear? What would be a thong you would recommend for a guy just trying them?
BikinisNThongs: Well, I think a few things need to happen for thongs to become more acceptable for guys. First, society needs to give up on the notion that thongs are for women – not easily accomplished and I have no idea where to begin. Second, major brands need to stop marketing thongs to gay men and strippers. They also need to design pairs that most men would actually wear. Third, thongs for men need to be marketed to women – get the women interested in seeing their man in a thong and more men will be trying them, guaranteed. Finally, and this is the easy part, thongs should be thought of as the equivalent of a jockstrap without the (sometimes annoying) straps. Thongs are very similar to dance belts. Men in dance and theater were them without shame.
The first pair that always comes to mind when I’m asked which thong a guy should try first is the JM Skinz. It’s comfortable, well made, and a little more conservative. It let’s the wearer have the thong experience without being super self-conscious about what he’s wearing.
Bottom Drawer: Like Bikinis ‘N Thongs said it’s the changing of minds that thongs aren’t just for women and that is both the minds of women and men. The only thing we probably can do is keep doing what we are doing with being a voice that we’re guys that wear thongs and there is no shame in guys wearing them. Again like Bikinis ‘N Thongs mentioned I think it is more in the court of the brands and retailers to turn the tides with their advertising. I agree that there isn’t enough advertising towards straight men, which I did a post on a few weeks back about adding in some female models into the advertising photoshoots. Once again I agree marketing towards women would be a great idea, since they will have a lot of influence on the underwear their guy wears.
I think the Mansilk knit thong is a great first thong. It’s a traditional cut and a nice comfortable fabric. Only issue is that my search for them has them unavailable at several retailers.
Underwear Dude: Getting more guys to wear thongs is going to be tough. You are going to have to make people get rid of the mindset that thongs are just for women, and that they aren’t feminine. Also, you have to show that thongs aren’t all horrid, uncomfortable “butt-floss banana hammocks” as pop culture makes them out to be. As Christ wrote, getting women on board will be a big help. For a beginners thong, I would look for one without a real big, accentuating, push out pouch, unless you are already used to that sort of thing and like it. I would also try a variety of different style backs, until you find the kind you like the best. Can’t judge all thongs by just one pair. Some guys don’t mind wide backs, but can’t stand strings. Others don’t want anything more than a string between their cheeks. I’d suggest a classic pair like a CK Body thong, a 2Xist/Cin-2(if you favor the sportier look), or , really, anything you think you’d like. That’s what really matters.

Go BareThe title may sound odd but Timoteo has a new line called Bare. Why is it called Bare? Well glad you asked! I know we have many readers who hate waistbands. I mean they really hate waistbands and prefer a waistband the smaller the better. Timoteo, has been known for their awesome waistbands over the years, the Bare is for Waistband dislikers!

Timoteo says this is a “minimalist style.” I would have to agree. You will notice it definitely sits lower on the waist. Timoteo says its ultra clean and sexy. You maybe asking why the change in designs? Timoteo is a company that is always designing the next best pair of underwear. I think Timoteo is one of the great underwear designers of our generation. I don’t say that lightly. He likes to experiment and have fun with underwear!

The Bare comes in a brief and jock brief. I will say I would love to see their take on a boxer brief in this line. The brief and jock brief are perfect pairs for the line. Each pair comes in white, black and blue. Each pair has a contrasting waistband color. The Brief retails for $20 and Jock Brief is $21 on the Timoteo site.

image006Men’s underwear is in the process of going mainstream. More and more guys are really paying attention to what they are wearing on a daily basis. This is proven by the growth in our straight readers every year. Yes, believe it or not we have quite a few amazing straight readers. They are just as passionate as gay guys!

So what do we want to see next year? We want to see more runway shows. This year we saw two shows from 2(X)ist and CA-RIO-CA Sungas. Both were amazing and the 2(X)ist was during NY Fashion Week and CA-RIO-CA did two shows, one in LA and one in Miami. Both shows were amazing. I believe we posted the videos of each and if you missed them they are on each company’s YouTube Channels

Every year Victoria’s Secret has a big show on network TV. Women’s underwear/lingerie is ok to show but men’s underwear still has a major stigma. It’s time to change that stigma! The shows by both companies were really great shows. CA-RIO-CA put some showmanship in the show featuring Carnival Dancers and a back flip on the runway.

Who would we love to see do a full on Fashion show? That is a long list, we’d love every brand to do one but here are my top picks for brands that would rock a runway!

  • Modus Vivendi – The diverse collection and Greek Heritage of the brand would make for an amazing show. They create fashion items not just underwear.
  • PUMP! Underwear – This year the brand has exploded and made some amazing pairs that would be awesome on the run way.
  • Clever Moda – Known for everything from basics to amazing prints. The prints come in brief and boxer, it would be awesome to see them walk side by side on the run way.
  • Garçon Model – This is a brand to really watch. They have some great new pairs and have stepped up their photography. We think the mix of bright colors would make a killer show
  • Jack Adams – The new collection is at a new level. Why not see it on the runway? Jack Adams is evolving and is becoming a major force in underwear.
  • Junk UnderJeans – They have been around for a while. With the addition of the activewear they would have a well rounded show. Plus their new underwear is pretty great!

These are only a few. There are way more brands to see on the runway. Let’s hope more brands try this out. I know we will see a new show from 2(X)ist and CA-RIO-CA this year.

Over the Christmas Holiday I had a lot of down time to recharge. Working two jobs before the holidays takes it out of you! While sitting around I started to think about classic underwear. Such as traditional white briefs. Knowing our readers the way I do, few of you out there would actually wear them on a regular basis. Granted, I think every guy should have a pair of them in his undies drawer.

What classifies a pair as a classic. I think the majority of the public classifies the conservative as a classic. It’s time to change that mentality. Real underwear lovers like styles outside of basic briefs. They include thongs, bikinis, and boxer briefs. They can be made out of any fabric from cotton to mesh.

Thinking of pairs over the last 10 years got me thinking which pairs are a classic. One of them immediately came to mind was the Cocksox CX01 Bikini. It has been a mainstay at Cocksox since their beginning. The pair has changed very little over the years, outside the colors. The fit and pouch is one of the best on the market. The fabric is 92% Supplex® 8% Lycra® that fits awesome and holds up very well. I actually have the first pair of CX01 from 2007 that I still wear!

The colors have been amazing in the CX01 over the years. I think it’s a true statement that it can be made in prints and solids and still maintain its design. That is a sign of a classic. The colors have been every color of the rainbow over the years. The prints include camo, stripes and more!

If you haven’t tried the CX01, you need at least one pair in your underwear drawer. If not a few of them! I have about 4-5 of them in various colors. My favorite has been the pink/magenta! The CX01 retails for $25 at the Cocksox site.

1330-Charger-Low rez
Gregg Homme always has used mesh. The new Charger line is a printed fabric on a red background. So it’s not your typical black or white mesh. It is something different and Gregg Homme is always pushing boundaries on what is sexy. The print was something unexpected to me when I first saw the collection. I definitely thought it was awesome and a welcome addition to the Gregg Homme line.

The Charger line has a Trunk, String, Boxer Brief, Brief and Thong. That’s not all it also has 4 different shirts and a harness. The shirts were limited edition. Since the release most has sold out and only mediums remain.

Charger Trunk – This CHARGER trunk gives you slightly more coverage than boxer briefs with a seamless seat, and is designed with a contoured center-seamed pouch and black jersey leg trim. The defining detail is a prominent, rugged matte ”gun metal” horseshoe buckle at the center front of its 1.5-inch elastic waistband.

Charger String – Its 1/2-inch waistband has the signature Gregg Homme logo patch sewn in at center front, and ends in a T-back.

Charger Boxer Brief – These CHARGER boxer briefs give you full coverage, a seamless seat, and are designed with a contoured center-seamed pouch that features a hidden red cockring for extra enhancement up front. The defining detail is a prominent, rugged matte ”gun metal” horseshoe buckle at the center front of its 1.5-inch elastic waistband.

Charger Thong – This thong gives you typical thong coverage and is designed with a contoured center-seamed pouch that features a hidden red cockring for extra enhancement up front. The defining detail is a prominent, rugged matte ”gun metal” horseshoe buckle at the center front of its 1.5-inch elastic waistband.

Charger Briefs – These CHARGER briefs give you classic coverage, a seamless seat, and are designed with a contoured center-seamed pouch that features a hidden red cockring for extra enhancement up front. The defining detail is a prominent, rugged matte ”gun metal” horseshoe buckle at center front of its 1.5-inch elastic waistband

Charger Harness – CHARGER collection harness is made from a 3/4-inch wide elastic material covered in faux leather, with adjustable metal straps & buckles at the shoulders. The defining detail is a prominent, rugged matte ”gun metal” horseshoe buckle at center back

Jack Adams new collection this year is a departure than previous collections. It’s a new fresh look from the brand. Their previous collections were great, but this one takes it a step above! One of the new pairs that I love is the Triumph Brief. This is also available in a boxer but we are focusing on the brief.

The Triumph Brief has a very nautical feel to it. The actual description says “Sexy sailor style low cut brief made of the finest fabric with vertical stripes contrasting on the left side.  Made of 95% Cotton and 5% Elastane.” The blue/white stripes with red trim make it very nautical.

I love the duo tone Jack Adams branded waistband. The half red and white band really accents the brief very well. The front has a chevron V in the front to give an accent to the pouch. The red trim is really an awesome touch. The double line on the right hip is a design feature I really like.

This pair is only one of the pairs of the new collection. We profiled 4 other pairs in our Holiday Guide. All the pairs in the guide and here are a step up from what they have done in the past. I expect many great things from them in 2016. Find the Triumph Brief on the Jack Adams site for $32.00

Supawear Fruitopia

I LOVE watermelon in the summertime since I was a kid. I would always get it and eat till I couldn’t eat any more. I also, love underwear! So what could be better? Watermelon Underwear! Some of you out there may think it maybe crazy to create underwear based on fruit. I think it’s pretty fun and awesome. Underwear is about fun and expressing yourself! SupaWear furnished a pair of Fruitopia for this review!

The Fruitopia pair I was super excited to review. I thought I requested a jock but got a brief instead. I’m not complaining though! The brief is a lot of fun. The first thing that you notice is it definitely looks like watermelon. The Green waistband is the peel, which I love. It makes it so much fun. The other thing is on the brief, the back has seeds printed on the back. It’s just an added touch that is super nice

When I put the pair on the first thing I noticed was it was a little tight. Being the holidays I added a little weight on. Their sizing chart says it’s 36-37. I will say I’m bigger than that and it didn’t fit too tight. After I had them on I didn’t notice the tight fit. It was mainly in the waistband.

As for daily wear it fit pretty well. I wore this pair on a really busy and stressful day. I was on the go for a few hours. It really held up well. It was a little more of a manual labor day than I had expected. The tight fit was perfect for the day, it gave me extra support when I needed it.

The design. As I mentioned above is awesome. Its playful and fun. SupaWear and 2EROS isn’t afraid of trying something new. They have a really great design aesthetic in everything they design. Lines such as AKTIV and X-Series brings out the fashion of the brand. The Fruitopia just brings out the fun. I want more pairs in the series! They would be great to wear during the summer time! (Which it is summer in Australia)

Pros:

  • I love the fun whimsical design
  • Great pouch in the pair
  • Waistband is awesome

Cons:

  • Some may not like the literal interpretation of the pair
  • Color may turn some off

Ratings:

  • Daily fit – 8
  • Sizing – 8
  • Construction – 9
  • Styling – 10
  • Daily Performance – 8
  • Overall – 8.6

NEW BRIEFS FROM XTREMEN -Xtremen has been a brand well known for boxer briefs. If you are a boxer brief fan you may already know the brand. If not we will give you a brief introduction today. The brand has been around for a few years. It has always been about 95% boxer briefs and 5% briefs. The last collection I think was almost 100% boxer briefs. That ratio is changing this collection.

The official description is: Xtremen takes underwear into high-performance territory rolling out a collection of fabrics designed to withstand the everyday rigors of the everyday man. Whether he s a casual runner full-time athlete or just braving the urban jungle in a suit and tie Xtremen design and fabrics provide the support comfort and wearability he needs.

You can wear the brand for physical activities or to the office. The pairs are made to give you needed support and look great while wearing them! If your’e a boxer brief fan, don’t worry it won’t change too much but there are 4 new briefs released in the collection. We are going to share a few of the new pairs with you, including the new briefs!

Xtremen 51361 Microfiber Boxer Color – For those who like a longer boxer brief, this pair is for you. It comes in Gray and Turquoise. Made out of a Nylon/Polyester blend with a contour pouch.

Xtremen 51365 Microfiber Boxer Color – A shorter boxer than the previous one. Comes mid thigh. Has a metallic waistband that off sets the main color (white, red or turquoise). Made out of a Nylon/Polyester blend as well.

Xtremen 91001 Brief Color – This brief has a very classic design. Made with the fly front with the white piping accents. The design is the only thing classic. It has a shiny Xtremen branded waistband. The colors are anything but traditional being red and green. The fabric is not the traditional cotton but 60 Polyester 32 Cotton 8 Spandex blend.

Xtremen 91002 Brief Color – Whereas the previous was a classic take on a brief this is a more modern take on how to make a brief. The material is a silky soft Nylon/Polyester blend. The trim accents are a nice touch. The trim contrasts the colored waistband. Available in white-blue or white-red.

91004 (2)

Xtremen 91004 Brief Color – Who doesn’t like a mesh brief? This is a blend of 80 Nylon 10 Polyester 10 Spandex.
Sheer mesh allows for flexibility and breathability. Its more of a sports mesh as well. It’s available in Black and Blue

Xtremen 91006 Brief – This is a total departure for the line. Its a bikini cut (no sides) with two cut outs on the front and back. Most of the pairs in Xtremen have been full cut, this is a very small cut and will show off a lot more! The fabric is 80 Nylon 10 Polyester 10 Spandex. The back while skimpy cut offers full coverage in the back!

Most of us who read this blog on a regular basis we want something different and fun. We are always on the look out for something sexy, wears well and is a different design. The New Air Jock from Andrew Christian fits that criteria. It has a really cool pouch design.

The pouch is made out of two pieces. The regular body of the underwear and the pouch that has cut outs in each side. I will say it’s a cool design but wondering the practical implications of the pair. I’m sure if you’re a little larger in the pouch you may show more skin than those who aren’t.

Overall it’s a new take on the jock brief. Since the late 2000’s, Jock Briefs have been gaining popularity. Its now pretty much a staple in the world of men’s underwear. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Many guys prefer the jock brief over the traditional jock due to the fit. There are no straps to deal with through out the day!

The Air Jock is available in Royal and Black. Each pair has a bright contrasting trim on the pouch and legs. Match that with a similar waistband. It’s a really fun pair to wear to work or out on the town. Both pairs retail for $22.50 on the Andrew Christian site.
