2XIST_SS16_Runway_Images-2XIST_SS16_Runway_Images-Look_15_closeup2(X)ist just held their fashion show for showing current and pairs for Spring. They are one of the few brands that puts on a runway show in the wold of men’s underwear! We got a chance to talk to Jason Scarlatti, Creative Director & VP Design for Attribution about the show. He gave us some insight into the shows and 2(X)ist!

Q: 2(X)IST just held their fashion show for Fall (or were you previewing spring). They are one of the few brands that puts on a runway show in the wold of men’s underwear!
A: Our annual fall fashion show previews the upcoming spring collection for underwear, athleisure, swimwear and accessories. This year, in addition to a Spring 2016 preview, 2(X)IST is celebrating our 25th anniversary and the debut of our new women’s collection.

Q: 2(X)IST has been doing runway shows for a while, why are they so important to you guys?
A: The 2(X)IST fashion show is a multifaceted event and is an extremely important part of our year. In addition to providing us with a platform to preview the upcoming season to key press and industry buyers, it also helps us to illustrate the full lifestyle of the 2(X)IST brand. Our evolution over the last 25 years is brought to life through the fashion show, allowing us to tell various stories through editorial, retail, and social media.

Q: How often do you do runway shows for the brand?
A: The 2(X)IST fashion show is held annually each October and is comprised of items currently available in the collection, as well as pieces that are launching in the upcoming spring season.

Q: What product lines did you profile in the show?
A: This year’s fashion show celebrated the evolution of the 2(X)IST brand. Kicking off with a video montage that highlighted the past 25 years, the direction of the show focused on the full lifestyle of the brand (expanding from an underwear destination) and where the brand is headed in the near future. The show featured everything from men’s underwear, swimwear, socks, watches, bags and athleisure, and new for the upcoming season, the introduction of women – his counterpart. The 2(X)IST women’s collection is comprised of loungewear, daywear and underwear.
Q: Putting on a show is a lot of work, what is the hardest thing about producing the show? On the flip side whats the best thing about the show?
A: The hardest thing about producing the show for me is distinguishing an element of surprise. I know the clothes will deliver. I know the models will deliver. Our production team and PR team are the very best. So I’m always confident in the show, and I know the show will run. But I always want that moment where people say “WOW”…. and that’s what I think makes our brand and our show different.

The BEST thing about the show are always the people — from backstage to the models to the crowd. Hands down you can always feel the energy in the room and its electrifying! I thrive on the entire event. The stressful parts and the glorious parts.

Q: A show is not planned over night. How far ahead do you plan the show?
A: We have a 6-month calendar set up to produce the show, but I’m laughing inside because usually the day after we are thinking how to top it the next year!

Q: Models are a key part of the show, what does 2(X)ist look for in a model for the runway show?
A: Our models reflect our core company values — the 2(X)IST DNA. They’re all gentleman and sophisticated women who like to have fun and own a room when they enter it. They are approachable and energetic. They care about the way they look. They take good care of themselves and others. They are confident and proud of where they are – and hungry for where they will go. These are all core attributes of our brand that speak to us in every aspect of design, casting and marketing.

Q: Would you ever have a celebrity model in the show?
A: We definitely would – but our focus has been our product, so the timing hasn’t happened for us yet.

Q: Speaking of celebrities, do you get many to attend the show? What do they have to say about the show afterwards?
A: The attendee’s to our show’s over the years have been a wide variety of buyers and press that span different aspects of lifestyle media. At times we’ve sprinkled in celebrities, as well as stylists, bloggers, and influencers. The buzz is always electric and that’s something we thrive off of.

Q: This up coming year is the 25th year of 2(X)ist, can we expect big things from the next runway show?
A: You can expect new and exciting extensions from all the runway shows we do. Our passion is to consistently evolve with and for our customer. To round out his — and now her lifestyle with fashion forward solutions.

Unknown-13Just when you can’t get think aussieBum can’t make anything sexier… They prove you wrong. The new Punch range is one that is sexy without being over the top. Every day I get tons of emails about different things and when I saw the email from aussieBum and opened it up I did a double take. The first word that came out of my mouth was “DAYUM!” Not more than 5 minutes after I opened it a friend texted me to say that aB is on fire!

So what is this Punch line about? “The new PUNCH brief is designed for the man who likes to live by his rules and stand out from the crowd. Made in Australia, these high spec undies feature a smooth elastane pouch and a comfortable mesh that will keep you cool during the day and hot at night! The bold branded waistband reflects the attitude, confidence and front of those who dare to wear it. The new PUNCH is ready to bring out the rebel in you, go for it”

The things I like about this line are: The waistband is classic yet fun. You need a more subdued waistband on a pair this sexy. The mesh is just around the back. I’m not a big fan of mesh fronts. Things tend to get wonky and uncomfortable after a while. Lastly is its available in three colors. I love it when companies mix great colors and sexy mesh. It doesn’t need to be all black!

The pair is just in a brief. If you were hoping for a hipster, you’re out of luck. The colors available for this range are Coal (black), Fire (red) and Ice (blue). They retail for $21.96 from the aussieBum site.

If you haven’t tried aussieBum you are missing out on one of the great underwear companies that you must try! If this is too wild, don’t worry they have some that show off less!

99134(2)CandyMan has always been a company that had intrigued me. They are never shy about pushing the limits when it comes to new cuts, styles and fabrics. Some people might say that can take it a bit too far sometimes. If you are one of those skeptics, don’t count this brand out so quickly.

I had the opportunity to review the Modern Varsity Brief in blue size medium. This pair was furnished by Macondo Trading. I have to say I was happy this pair got sent my way. This is not your typical brief, but if you are looking for a pair of undies that are sexy yet comfortable.  These are worth the look. From the clean cut waistband to the contrasting florescent piping around the legs to the little cut outs on either side of the pouch.  CandyMan cut no corners when it comes to details with these briefs.

These briefs are made from 96% Nylon and 4% elastane Sheer stretch mesh which is completely see through. It has a great wide elastic logo waistband that has a metallic silver look to it. I love a good pair of mesh undies. I think they are something sexy for sure. What I like about these is they are comfortable to wear as well as sexy. These will not leave anything up to the imagination. The front pouch is very roomy and keeps everything in place like a good brief should do. The cut-outs on either side of the pouch add for a little extra stretch in the front as well if you need it. The fabric is light and airy and almost feels like you are going commando under whatever you are wear over top.

The one down fall with these briefs that I could find is that like most sheer fabrics.  These are undies that should be cared for. I have had similar fabrics get caught in zippers of paints while in the washer and rip a hold in fabric.  So just be cautious when washin’. I would also not recommend wearing these all day. I did and they performed better than a lot of my other mesh undies; however I didn’t feel like they moved as well with me like some of my other undies do. BUT if you are looking for a sexy pair of undies that will add that little extra element of sexy to your night out, these are the undies for you! Sexy and functional for a great price!

PROS:

·       Great fit and true to size

·       Great color and contrasting piping along with detailing add to the sexiness

·       Comfortable waistband

CONS:

·       Sheer mesh doesn’t seem the strongest of fabrics

RATEINGS:

·       Daily Fit – 8

·       Sizing – 10

·       Construction/Materials – 10

·       Styling – 10

·       Daily Performance – 8

·       OVERALL – 9.2

This pair was furnished for review by Macondo Trading. These come in the blue only and can be found at CandyMan Fashion for $18.48.

ManView_MV4003_Green_2

If you have read any of my past +reviews, you know that I love trying new brands, and I am a HUGE fan of jockstraps. So when I was told I was going to be reviewing the ManView Campus City Boy jockstrap. Jockstrap was  furnished by Macondo Trading.  I was very excited. ManView is a brand I had heard a lot of good things about, but I didn’t own anything that I had released. I have to say that I have been missing out. I love a good jockstrap.  When you add in some sexy contrasting colors and that little bit of a unique look, it is hard for me to go wrong.

I reviewed the ManView Campus City Boy Jockstrap in Green/Orange in a size medium. One of the first things that caught my eye with this jockstrap is that just looking at it from the front.  It has the look of a brief. With most jocks you just have a pouch and the waist band. ManView added these extra side panels which add a whole new look and feel to what you typically think of when it comes to a jock.  This panel extends all the way around to the back of the jock.  Which I wasn’t sure if I would like at first.  But found out quickly, this was something that I am going to continue to look for when it comes to a jockstrap that I can wear all day every day. I hate it when I decide to wear a jock and the waist band rides up on my back advertising to the whole world that I am wear a jock. What I like about the Campus City Boy jock is that with the extra fabric just below the waistband.  IIt doesn’t seem to ride up and offers that little extra bit of coverage.

The fabric on these is 94% cotton and 6% elastane. This is a great fabric combination if you want to wear these all day. The front pouch I did find to be a bit small, but wasn’t a deal breaker for me at all. The cotton/elastane fabric allowed it to stretch and contour to my body and was very comfortable all day. I love the color combination of these are well. The color is perfect for Halloween and I can’t wait to wear these out next weekend. You can bet I will be buying the red and blue ones as well for all of those patriotic summer holiday’s next year.

PROS:

  • Great fit and true to size
  • Great coverage, yet keeps the integrity of fun of wearing a jockstrap
  • Great fabric for everyday wear, even to the gym!

CONS:

  • Pouch was a bit cramped and might take some time to get used too.

RATEINGS:

  • Daily Fit – 9
  • Sizing – 10
  • Construction/Materials – 9
  • Styling – 10
  • Daily Performance – 10
  • OVERALL – 9.6

This pair was furnished for review by Macondo Trading. These come in the Orange and green as well as Red and Blue. They can be found through the Macondo Trading Amazon website  for $21.48.

I wasn’t going to dedicate the entire day to the 7th Anniversary. After writing the anniversary post It got me thinking of the last seven years and how we have started to do our own photography When we first started we had more real guys and want to continue that trend of seeing the average guy in underwear. However, as we have stepped up each year we improve in both photography and models.

We have gotten heat over the years for using “non models” but we need to see real guys in underwear/swimwer. One of the ones that sticks out is in 2012 we got the post “These guys are fat.” Which struck me as odd because the largest guy was a 32 inch waist. They weren’t full of muscles and  abs but they were good guys. We have heard from many of you that you appreciate what we do!

Now on to the pics before I get on my soap box. These are pictures over the years that I LOVE that we have done.

UNB-Ben-N2N-2011

Shoot: UNB Swimwear 2011
Model: Ben
Brand: N2N Bodywear
Photographer: Seven Continents Photography
Description; This was the shoot that almost didn’t happen. It was one disaster after another. It was done the day of the rapture (But we survived). This was the first time Ben wore a swim brief in public. A few boaters too notice but not too many. This picture is one I want framed and on the wall one day. It proves even when things go wrong, you can make amazing things.

Pool Shoot 013 - Copy

Shoot: Swimwear 2012
Model: Cody
Brand: Clever Moda
Photographer: Seven Continents Photography
Description: This was our first really big shoot. I was brand new to doing shoots. We had three models and traveled over an hour south of Atlanta to use a friends lake house. On the way there it rained and I thought it would turn our horrible. Well the day turned out great. However, the pictures for Clever didn’t. We had to reshoot them the following week. This ended up being one of my favorites due to the post and the suit.

Shoot: Holiday Guide 2012
Model: Adam
Brand: Clever Moda
Photographer: Seven Continents Photography
Description: We shot this on the 60 something floor of the Westin Peachtree Plaza in downtown Atlanta. We had some great models and the first time we worked with Matt from Designer Drawers. It was a LONG shoot. The longest we have ever done. This was done early right when the sun hit just right. This pic I have used a few times over the years. Just a great angle and model!

Shoot: Alabama Brewery – Dec 2012
Model: David
Brand: N2N Bodywear
Photographer: Seven Continents Photography
Description: This was the first shoot we did outside of a guide. We drove over to Birmingham on a Saturday morning. Might I add I had dental surgery the day before and was totally out of it. We had a bunch of N2N to shoot and David was our model. In the last minute we got Josh (who hopefully will be back on the site soon). This is a pic I love and is still out YouTube picture. David’s great smile and the focus is what I love. Its the perfect angle for this picture!

IMG_0248

Shoot: UNB Valentine’s Guide
Model: David
Brand: Gregg Homme
Photographer: Seven Continents Photography
Description: When it came to our early shoots we had Murphy’s law in full effect. One model fell out and we were left with David. We shot in an amazing house in the Mountains just south of Birmingham. Some of the pics didn’t turn out great but this one turned out amazing. David looks like the butler you wish you had for Valentine’s Day! It also taught us doing a Valentine’s shoot is very difficult. Hence, why we haven’t done one since!

Shoot: UNB Swimwear Guide 2013
Models: Kyle and Blake
Brand: Cocksox
Photographer: Seven Continents Photography
Description: This was a really fun shoot. Probably one of the most laid back we ever shoot. It was followed by everyone in the pool after fora few hours. I love this pic because it looks like two buds hanging out at a day at the pool. Granted the neon colors may not be one you think of but it was super fun! It was shot north of Atlanta at the former Black Jack Mountain Inn.

UNB Underwear Derek Yates-9

Shoot: Derek Yates – Julyl 2013
Model: Derek Yates
Brand: Go Softwear
Photographer: Ignacio Rivera Jr.
Description: This was our very first time working with Derek. We shot in in some Go Softwear and Baskit. He drove down from Chattanooga to do this on a week day We shot this at the same place at the Swim shoot. Derek knows how to model and looks amazing in undies. I love this shot on the steps most of all. To me it was one of the most artistic of the day!

UNB Und Josh-38

Shoot: Josh in Birmingham – July 2013
Model: Josh
Brand: Clever Moda
Photographer: Ignacio Rivera Jr.
Description: I think Josh has some amazing potential when it comes to modeling. We decided to grab a few things from the UNB closet and head over to Bham to shoot him. The day ranged from a Bentley on a Parking garage, in a gym (this pic) and foot ball gear. This picture shows how incredible he is on camera. He’s not shy about what he wears.

UNB Josh 9.22-12

Shoot: Josh in Atlanta – Aug 2013
Model: Josh
Brand: Xtremen Underwear
Photographer: Ignacio Rivera Jr.
Description: We received some underwear from Xtremen to shoot. We invited Josh over to Atlanta to shoot at a friends condo in Midtown. It was the 26th floor. Ignacio did a mix of old school with the holding of the film, while shooting on digital. The camera loves Josh and it was one of our shortest but I love it because it shows off Josh and the underwear perfectly.

UNB Holiday-4

Shoot: UNB Holiday Guide 2013
Models: Matt, Martin & Scott
Brand: Mundo Unico
Photographer: Ignacio Rivera Jr.
Description: This is our only shoot for holiday that we did that featured a holiday theme. It was done is a historic house in Birmingham that was decked out for the holidays. Remember when I said we had Murphy’s Law in effect. This was the was the perfect example of that. We had four models lined up. Three of them dropped out the morning of the shoot. Matt jumped in to help and Martin got his trainer Scott to come model. It turned out to be amazing. This was on top of me getting laid off the day before. The guys were amazing and such troopers that day! This day made me love Matt even more!

UNB Swim14-32

Shoot: UNB Swimwear Guide 2014
Model: Derek Yates
Brand: 2EROS
Photographer: Ignacio Rivera Jr.
Description: We shot this at Martin’s house (the one in the holiday picture above). It was a nice calm day and no big surprise. It was also the first time no models fell out! This is one of my favorite pictures from the shoot featuring Derek in the 2EROS. Its amazing what Ignacio did! There were several I wanted to profile but this one stood out! Derek is so easy to work with and does amazing pictures.

unbfall14-10

Shoot: UNB Holiday Guide 2014
Models: Derek & Nathan
Brand: Clever Moda
Photographer: Ignacio Rivera Jr.
Description: We are back to the same location as the 2013 Holiday guide. However this year it’s not decked out in Holiday! This is the first time we worked with Nathan as well. The shoot produced this picture. I swear the camera loves both of them. Pair them together and its magic. They looked amazing on the shoot. It was our coincidence that the boys wore Red and Green. Both guys know how to stand and it shows in the picture. Each is a professional and we love working with them.

unb5

Shoot: Long Johns – Dec 2014
Models: Chandler & Nathan
Brand: McKillop
Photographer: Taylor Campbell
Description: This was a COLD shoot. It was done on Matt’s deck and fire pit. We did something totally different with photography and did more abstract pictures. Taylor played with light and exposure and did some amazing pictures. This one features both guys in the light of the fire. Both guys look amazing in the long johns. It was so much fun for us. Ask Chandler and Nathan and they may say otherwise.

Shoot: Fetish Shoot  – Feb 2015
Model: Nathan
Brand: N2N Bodywear

It skewed gay an had black underwear and leather. It turned out so amazing. We received a lot of feed back on this shoot, all positive. This picture of Nathan and his look on his face is amazing. Taylor captured the super sexy side of Nathan (not like that’s hard to do) and rocked this one out!

Celebrating 7 years of UNB

This month marks the 7th Anniversary for Underwear News Briefs. It’s been an amazing journey over this time. If you would have told me in 2008 that I would still be doing the site in 2015. I would have said you were crazy. I started it when I got laid off to occupy my time and share my move of underwear. After the start I figured I would score some free undies and kill some time. Well, I did score free undies but a lot more happened.

Well isn’t life funny. I did get jobs but I never forgot about UNB. Well in fact I got laid off 3 times in 5 years. UNB was always there to keep me occupied and busy. If I had to sit at home and do nothing I would have gone crazy. UNB is something I built and has become successful. It makes me smile to realize so many guys share my passion and love the blog!

There have been good times and bad times at UNB. However, I tend to focus on and remember the good times. So what have been some of the best things to happen creating UNB?

Solidified My Love of undies – I have always loved undies and this has made my love stronger. I can’t wait to see new lines and talk about them. UNB has exposed me to more brands than I would have ever found on my own. On the same page it allowed me to try many more brands than I ever could on my own.

Made Some Amazing Friends – I honestly at times forget people read the blog. Its like I”m doing it for myself at times. I guess it’s because I’m so focused on trying to write things you guys will like and show whats cool in underwear. Out of this I have made really good friends of people in the industry and out of it. There are a few readers I talk to on a regular basis via text, DM or email. Guys  who love underwear are rare breed. We are friendly and share one big thing in our lives. They are easier to talk to as well, at least for me. The same goes for in the industry. The men’s underwear industry is an amazing and friendly place. There are very few people I don’t like working with in the industry.

Taught me the Difference between Personal and Business – This is something that the blog taught me and is an important life lesson. I don’t get upset if someone makes a decision purely on business. If they don’t want to do it and it’s not in the best interest of their business, I don’t get upset. Its the price of working with people. You can’t take some things personally.

All Guys Love Undies – We are a group of guys who shares something special. Many out there keep it hidden from family and friends. Its super personal to a lot of guys. After writing the blog for a few years I started to get straight guys writing me about the blog. My goal was to show all guys how underwear is amazing. This has paid off and we have gained more straight readers every year. These guys are some of the biggest underwear lovers around. Many far surpass the gay guys. It makes me smile every time I get a new email from a reader gay or straight.

I can write… sorta – Some of you have pointed out that grammar and spelling can get jacked up at times. The main reason is I am dyslexic. I have never liked writing and always tried not to do much of it. Things in the past have gotten mixed up in my head and would come out all wonky. I know I still have work to do but I have improved since the start of the blog. I CAN write. This may sound stupid to some but when you had no confidence in your writing skills its hard to start a blog. Now I am starting to know what it look for in my writing and improve.

UNB Readers are Awesome – I have mentioned that I have made friends and getting all guys to love undies. You guys never cease to amaze me and make me smile. There are days when I have things getting me down (site wise or in life). I will get this great email telling me how much someone loves the blog and I am smiles. You guys make the site worth doing. I ask you guys things and you guys always follow through.

These are just a few of the things that have I am thankful for the last few years. The first 7 years have been amazing. We have grown our reader base, do our own shoots and bring guys together. The last is my favorite thing! So whats in the future for UNB?

That is always a work in progress. We try new things all the time, sometimes they work and other times they don’t. But, it’s about trying new things. I have a few ideas in the works that revolve around video and some features. I also love feed back an ideas form you guys. So you guys can always feel free to reach out on Twitter or email!

Here’s to 7 more years of UNB and hopefully a lot more! Again I want to thank all our readers for reading and participating over the last few years. I Love you guys!

1Are you a big fan of our blog? Have you been with us from the beginning or just found us? Either way if you like what we do consider supporting us! I founded UNB 7 years ago this month. It has been a fun journey for me sharing my passion for underwear with you guys. It takes a lot of guys to create content and promote the blog every week.

Why did we do crowd funding? We do get some money to cover most of our expenses from advertising. But there are more things we want to do! I am not a big fan of sponsored content. Our only sponsored content we do are photoshoots and I guess you could say reviews. I say reviews because almost always the pairs are given to us to review. I felt the best way to do bigger and better things was ask you guys to help!

Patreon is a service for content creators to raise money from their readers/viewers/fans. Its kind of like PBS pledge week, but year round. If you like what we do, then definitely consider donating. If just 25% of guys who read the blog on a regular basis donate $1 a month, we could do shoots every month, launch a new web series and hire a copy editor.

What will we do with the money? As I mentioned above I want to hire a copy editor to help up step up our game. Second, do more than Christmas and Swimwear shoots. Be able to do some fun shoots with a mix of brands. Actually get a video camera to do better videos for you guys. Then launch a new web series I have been working on!

How does Patreon work? We have our account set up to do a monthly donation. You can give, as I have said, as little as $1 to what ever you want! Each month your donation will be charged and you can stop at anytime If you prefer you can also set up a limit as to how much you want to spend. It’s very simple. We have some reward levels listed too. Did I mention you get some perks been a Patreon supporter of UNB.

How can you donate? Go to the UNB Patron Page and sign up to be a supporter. If you have any questions feel free to email me at info @ underwearnewsbriefs.com and put Patreon in the title. Thanks for being such amazing guys!

HalloweenIts Halloween Time! There is one brand that has some amazing costumes, that brand is Candyman. I remember when they first came out and the Cowboy costume was all the rage. Each year they continue to release new costumes, and not just around Halloween.

But if you wanted to wear these for Halloween you could! I wouldn’t recommend them for a “family” party or with kids. If you were going to an adult party or a bar some of these could be a lot of fun to wear. I say this because some of these are skimpy and leave little to the imagination. For a bar this I bet is a good thing! So what costumes to they have this year?

99108(2)

First up is the 99108 Sailor Costume Outfit. As you can see its perfect for any sea voyage. The costume comes with the brief, hat and collar. The Sailor costume is $32.48

99149(2)

The next costumes come in two colors. The sexy mechanic is a sheer mesh body suit that just has coverage on the crotch.  its available on Blue and Black. the Blue is 99149 Mechanic Outfit is $39.48

99150(2)

The Sexy Mechanic in black is very similar but it has a black/white checker board stripe down the side. Just note that both of these are VERY see through. So unless you want to show it off, don’t wear it. The Black is 99150 Mechanic Outfit Multi-colored is $37.48

99151(2)

For men the School Girl is always a popular costume, but what about the School boy? Candyman has made a school boy costume that comes with the boxer briefs, suspenders and bow tie. The geek glasses are something you have to add yourself. The 99151 School Boy Outfit is $30.48

99152(3)Growing up how many of us wanted to be a police man? Candyman has two different costumes. The first is the 99152 Police Outfit. This one shows off a bit more! It comes with the boxer briefs, cap, harness and hand cuffs. These boxer briefs have a cool cut with a mesh back and you will be seeing your best assets! The Police Outfit is $39.48

99153(1)

The second 99153 Police Outfit offers a bit more coverage. Like the first one you get the cap and cuffs but this one is a brief cut rather than a trunk. These also feature a badge on the back of the pair. The Police outfit is $33.48

99157(1)

Maybe you want your very own 50 Shades of Grey in your bedroom our house. it all depends on what you want! The first is the 99157 that comes with a strappy onesie cuffs and a blind fold. The 99156 is $34.48

99159(1)

The next is the 99159. It features a mesh boxer brief with a lace up back and a black fake leather mask. It is perfect for an evening home. The 99159 is $39.48

99161(1)

The last is the 99161 is the same boxer brief as the 99159 but instead of the mask it comes with the fake leather cuffs. The 99161 is $35.48

aussieBum Superhunk CEOAre you a fan of comic books? Or of super heroes? Maybe you like all the new Marvel movies. If you do then some of the new underwear created by aussieBum is just for you. Its called the Superhunk line. It is their creation of of a line of Super Hunks!

I admit it I”m a Geek! I love all things super hero, especially the Marvel movies. Pair this love of geek things with underwear and I”m in heaven. This new line is a lot of fun. aussieBum is no stranger to creating super hero underwear. This is the second comic style line they have released.

The new line is is available in 5 different designs. Each one is on a brief, unlike other styles its not on a brief and hipsters. The five designs are Army, Airfare, CEO, Fireman and Sailor. Each features a that persona breaking out into a super hero from their alter ego!

This is the official description from aussieBum “Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s aussieBum’s Super Hunks collection range. It’s time to shape up and get our latest and has to be our greatest classic fun underwear we’ve developed in years. Live the dream and grab your High definition exclusive Super Hunk design today.”

They are a little over the top, but thats part of the charm of the collection. The hero is uber masculine and a play on the comic book heroes. Its so much fun! aussieBum has their own great way of making and designing underwear! The pairs are $24.96 at the aussieBum website.

lettingit goPart 2A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the struggle I was having with getting rid of undies that I no longer wear.  I had gotten as far as sorting out the ones I wanted to keep and those I needed to toss.  That was it.  I just couldn’t do it.

Fast forward to tonight and I’ve actually made some progress.  I managed to get rid of about 50 pairs.  Gave them to two fellow underwear lovers who are a little but younger than I am  (damn millennials) and don’t have as much disposable income to buy all the underwear they’d like.  I consider it a charitable donation.   Too bad I can’t right that off on my taxes.

This purging of my collection gave me the chance to take an inventory of what I have.  I thought the amount that I got rid would make a sizable dent and free up googobs of drawer space; I seem to be wrong.  Today’s underwear count is as follows: 39 thongs, 40 jocks, 45 bikinis, 53 briefs.  177 pairs of underwear.

Add in the days where I go commando and I could go over 6 months without wearing the same pair.  That’s just cray-cray.  No one needs that much underwear.  But I guarantee you that in the not too distant future I will get the itch and find something new to buy.  Damn underwear sales.  They get me every time.  Besides, can you really have too much underwear?
