Bum-Chums Launch New British Pudding Collection & New Design

SONY DSCWith the debut of the Spring-Summer ’15 collection, Bum Chums introduces a new, design to its repertoire which as well as looking bold and bright, provides both aesthetic and performance oriented benefits by using a mixture of fibers.

“This new collection is all about colour, comfort and being bold,” says Craig Hendry, design and development director of Bum Chums. “We wanted to introduce a new design to the market also, so thought long and hard about how we could be creative without compromising body comfort.”

The collection, which includes a bum-cupping brief, hipster-style boxer, front-cupping jock and an all new design to bum-chums, a backless Brief-Jock features bold and simple lines that naturally accentuate and compliment the male form. “We avoided unnecessary embellishments in favour of naturally enhancing design, which allows for a broad and unbroken expanse of fabric to follow the contours of the body,” adds Craig.

From the sketches at the design stage to the finished garments and photographs, the new Brief-Jock certainly looks both front and back cupping and is said to boast “a comfortable underneath, continual strap for additional comfort for the wearer” says Anthony Finney, Co-Director.

Bum-Chums reinvention of their classic designs has also been improved, moving onto a more chunky binding for the legs on the hipster and brief designs, as well as including a top cover binding in the contrasting colours. “The main aim of this new range and collection is to embody colour and boldness but also to represent value for the wearer,” says Gareth Dickinson (another of the bum-loving team).

Collection: British Puddings

Spring is here and bum-chums have outdone their selves this time. Designing a new collection to celebrate the core of culinary couture. The British Pudding collection combines plump and ripe finishing and detail with piping and plush pouches of pure pleasure. Presenting four brand new styles to the dinner table, including the new design brief, hipster and jock, along with a brand new style entirely… The bum-chums Sling-Shot.

Beware though, British Puddings are all about the calories and we fully intend all of this collection to go right to the hips and bums of any discerning pudding lover. Created and crafted to culminate in an underwear climax of scantily clad men’s underwear lovers.

This brings a totally new meaning to offering to make the pudding! Dessert is all about the presentation and all you have to do next is decide how it’s served…

IMG_2008I know a lot of you guys are like me and you get a lot of spam about underwear in your email boxes. Some of it is stuff you can delete right away. Another 10% off sale? Yawn. But sometimes, you get something so intriguing that is just so irresistible that you have to click through to see what the heck is going on. For me, there has to be some catch, something that says the underwear that is being offered will stand out from amongst the rest. Something like a great pic or key words will pique my interest. In this case, the words were: Italian and underwear.

Honestly, when I see promotional marketing emails from European sellers in box. I’ll click through the email and onto the sites faster than a 11 year old girl would start crying at Justin Bieber concert. Yes, that fast.

So began my foray into the brand called Intimissimi. I was a little familiar with the brand before, I’d seen the storefronts whilst traveling through Europe. But the storefronts always reminded me of the standard lingerie purveyors, like Victoria Secret. So I tended to shy away from entering if I wasn’t sure there was going to be a substantial men’s section.

My curiosity about was sated as I arrived on the Intimissimi website (http://us.intimissimi.com/index.jsp) , where they proudly proclaimed that they were now shipping to the good ole’ USA. How was this not a sign from the Italian underwear gods urging me to order a couple pairs?

I always check out the “about us” section to get a feel like if the brand’s been around for a while, and if they are legit. Sometimes just the look and feel of a website clues you in to how serious a company takes its online presence, and how much faith you, in turn, can put into ordering, especially if the merchandise originates overseas.

My sleuthing uncovered that the company has been around since 1996, so solvency was not going to be a problem. And like I mentioned before, they seem to be all over the place in Europe. At the time that I made my purchase there was a limited selection of trunk and brief style underwear for purchase. In terms of design, they were rather basic, with solid color bikinis and briefs in either solid colors or ringer styles (contrast piping on the fly and leg holes). They were also running a volume buy special, where you could buy five pairs for $65 USD. So I went ahead and picked out my five pairs (two bikinis and three briefs) and eagerly awaited the arrival of my purchase.

I was very confident in my transaction, the website felt very secure. It employed a double verification system (e.g., Verified by Visa) and provided a receipt was instantaneous and included a URL to track the order. All of these features of their website and customer interaction made me confident that my order would arrive and that the company was legitimate. Shipping was only $8.

I received the garments and a half and was impressed by the speed of the delivery. Since they are coming from Europe, and that I only paid $8 for delivery. They didn’t really have packaging, just the individual briefs and bikinis in plastic baggies. I’m a US size 31-32, so I ordered the size small, and they’re solid garments. They fit as expected: not too snug, with the expected coverage that both styles are expected to offer. The briefs have pretty full coverage in the back.

My one gripe is the excessive tagging of the garments. Each garment included a longish tag that indicated the size and care instructions of the underwear, and another long tag describing the origin and fabric content of the garment. It just seemed rather excessive, but nothing that a quick clip of the scissors couldn’t remedy.

I’ve since received emails from Intimissimi notifying me that they’ve released new styles for spring, that feature prints and stripes. I’m definitely excited to try out more of their stuff and hope that you’ll want to try them too.

New N2N Bodywear Liquid Skins

All the conversations I have with readers, I have discovered you guys LOVE erotic wear. It doesn’t matter if you are gay, bi or straight. It’s something that all guys love. I guess it boils our inherent need to show off! Some wear it out for others to see and other just wear it for our loved one.

Flash forward to February of this year. I have said it before but I LOVE the N2N Bodywear Guys. They are just the nicest guys out there and its so much fun to hang out with them. They showed their collection in a suite at the Mandalay Bay. So I got an overview of the entire collection. One thing that really stood out was the new Liquid Skins. It is a line you maybe familiar with because it used to be called the Black Collection.

The Black collection is one made out of a rubber like material. Unlike rubber this material will breathe and feel good. If you’re not a rubber fan, it can get very hot and constricting. Not to mention it can be hard to remove. The black collection gave you the look of rubber with the feel of spandex. Its the best of both worlds!

Back to the Liquid Skins. The new color they added was silver. I wasn’t expecting it but it’s SUPER HOT. When their model came out I went “BLACK COLLECTION!” The black is great for wanting to not stand out and still have have something fun. The Silver has a metallic sheen and will be noticed. Its like these pairs say “LOOK AT ME.” Some of our readers are going to love this. I definitely can picture many guys wearing this out to fetish bar nights or heck just a Friday or Saturday night out.

The styles in the collection you may already know but they are; Bikini, Sport Brief, Short, Jock, Slingshot, Wrestler, Skins (leggings), Muscle (shirt) and G. The material is 83% nylon 17% spandex matte coated tricot. Making it look just like rubber. I have tried the bikini and it’s awesome. If you get this make sure you take note of the care instructions. “Chlorine, bleach, oil (lube, suntan lotion, baby oil, etc…) may break down the special matte coating of this novelty fabric.” So be very careful what you get on the fabric.

If you’re in the market for some rubber but don’t have the wallet to pay for it. Definitely give the Liquid Skins line a look over. You could get some great pieces for lower cost. To see this and other lines just released go to the N2N Bodywear site.

I love the colors they choose because they aren’t over the top, bright day glow colors. The colors are blue, fuchsia and yellow. Here is what MaleBasics has to say about the collection:

The collection is the first big release from Male Basics since the Spot Collection. I think they have outdone themselves. Its simple but have a bold element with the neon colors. Each pair has the signature waistband that is black with MaleBasics in the neon color. The brief and mini short have a pouch in the neon color with matching leg trim. The jock is a bit different and has a solid black pouch with the same waistband but the legs straps and trim around the pouch are in the neon color.

I love the jock for the leg straps. The thicker straps in the matching neon just sets it off for me. I think they did a stellar job creating it. MaleBasics put their own spin on the jock. Its simple but a lot of fun.

I was a little bummed that I couldn’t go to his fashion show. I had previous plans and couldn’t change them. So hopefully next time I can go to the show!

This is the first phase of the singlet collection. More will be released as the year goes on. This singlet provides a lower cut in the front to give it a better edgy look and quality.This singlet has been created based on the feedback from my fans, they wanted something sexy, with mesh, with elegancy and creativeness.

What is the best thing about designing underwear?

The best thing about designing underwear is the wonderful warm feeling of having an image in your mind and making it real, something tangible you can touch and feel, and overall that your fans will love and go crazy for. It is not an easy task, takes many months to designs and finally implement. I try to obtain new underwear based on fan feedback, something they want and have not had. Fans hate untasteful clothing. Therefore, i create surveys to better understand my fans and based on that i create a new collection.

You were part of Las Vegas Fashion week, how did the show go?

Fashion Week was a great event. I was so nervous, since i had to walk on the runway as well, my first time doing it. It was a great success and many great feedback was received from the public, models and other designers. Meeting other designers many me feel that my dream is now coming true. Seeing the models walk down the runway with loud music made me realized that this is who i am, where i belong and don’t want to go anywhere else.Dream can become true only if you work really hard at them and give your commitment and dedication to them.

What can we expect from the future from VicedMAN?

You can expect man more things from Viced MAN, crossing borders internationally and many more products to come. Viced MAN will go to be the official underwear of choice. Everything will evolve based an fan feedback because they are who make this brand, they drive the company i am just at the steering wheel.

What is a Bikini Brief?

csx_grey6Several weeks ago, UNB Tim asked me to select the top 5 bikinis.

While researching the available pairs, I noticed that some pairs I consider to be a bikini style are called a brief by the brand. That got me thinking about what makes a particular pair a bikini vs. a brief. I engaged my Twitter followers to give me their opinions and tried to get input from various brands as well. Here’s what they had to say:

@UNBKyle – I think bikinis have a slimmer side. Just like how trunks are usually shorter than boxer briefs in the legs, bikinis are smaller and shorter on the sides than regular briefs.

@In2yourbriefs – Briefs are more full, more material where bikinis are very thin sides, small cut on the bum.

@Bikiniboiatl – Bikinis have at a 3” lower rise than full briefs and 2” lower rise than low rise briefs.

@Undyguy79 – Bikinis have a higher cut in the front leg and are smaller around the package. They often don’t have a separate waistband. Plus the distance between the leg hole and waist is smaller.

@Underweardude – I’d say the major difference is that the bikini is higher cut around the legs, and possibly a smaller read, both to varying degrees. Some modern low rise briefs might be called a bikini by someone who only wears the classic kind of briefs.

@underwearCEO – A bikini is a more petite version of a brief. Thinner on the side and not a full sear on the rear!

@cambiocalzones – I think bikinis are narrow at the sides and back the waistband is smaller too and they don’t have any kind of fly.

@UndieLvr – For me bikinis are similar to briefs but much thinner than your average brief. You can have bikinis from possibly an inch on the sides down to a side string (the thinner the sexier). To me briefs are your typical full brief and I’m not much a fan because they tend to not flatter a person’s shape the way a bikini 5186-1would.

@Jockey292 – Bikinis have sides of an inch or less, or just a waistband with a pouch and back.

@N2NBodywear – Bikini 1” sides, Brief 3” or more.

Almost everyone uses the height of the sides to distinguish a bikini from a brief. But is this enough? Bikinis are a version of a brief and are typically smaller as most of my Twitter followers alluded to; however, I think there’s more to the distinction. Here are the criteria I use:

  • Briefs often have flies. Bikinis do not.
  • Briefs have formal elastic waistband (often advertising the brand name) that often stick out from the rest of the pair.. Bikinis do not; their waistbands are more subtle and blend in.
  • Briefs usually provide more coverage all around. Bikinis tend to be smaller and skimpier, but can also have a fuller cut.

In my opinion, the top two criteria are the most important and the third is more of a guideline.

Its a big day in the world of underwear! The new N2N Bodywear Collection has been released. They teased us in Feb with a release of a few pairs. But now the entire collection has come out. That means new swimwear, underwear, active, lounge and erotic wear!

In Feb. while in Vegas we got a chance to meet with the N2N guys and they gave us a preview of the new collection. Well I had the video rolling and bringing you some new pairs. There are so many more. One that isn’t here that guys need to see is the Ultra Suede Harness! It is SUPER HOT.

You guys voted Andrew Christian out brand of the year! You think they did an amazing job with the underwear and swimwear. They put out new pairs every week! Its amazing their production schedule and creativity. This week is no different. This week they have the Werkin Boxer.

Cutouts are one of the big trends in men’s underwear right now. They have shown up in the front and ,like the Werkin Boxer, in the back. This pair is a full boxer brief but with a v cutout in the back to show just enough of the back to tease who ever you are with, but not enough to give it all away.

2204Clever is one of the Latin brands that always creates fun collections. It ranges from classic cuts to fun colors to super sexy materials. There is something for everyone in a Collection. The collections are usually divided into swimwear, boxer briefs, thongs/jocks, briefs and tanks. It’s an interesting mix but it works for them. Under each collection you can have classic stylish cuts to super wild ones that is made out of mesh!
