Neon is one of those trends that has lasted longer than I thought it would. I would say it has been going on for three years strong. Each season more and more companies release neon colored underwear. Some have in solid colors while others have it in accent colors. International Jock sent an email out a while back celebrating neon underwear and I thought it would be a great post.
Flash forward and now I’m doing this post. I was going to scour the web and find some great neon but realized that International Jock already did the heavy lifting and they always have AMAZING pictures of the products. While not exactly underwear Ergowear is one of my all time favorite underwear companies. They make underwear for men. The fit on every pair I have ever had, has been amazing. This gets my vote because I have a big love of pink. It’s not often we see pink swimwear for men! You will draw attention first by the color and second by the bikini cut. I think every guy needs a jock in his underwear drawer. Even the most staunch boxer brief guy should have one. I chose this one because it’s one of C-IN2’s newest and hottest lines. Plus orange is one of those colors you don’t see in underwear all that often. And let’s face it if you’re going to wear neon underwear you want it to be seen! Available for $24.00
This has to be one of my favorite pairs of underwear I own. While not 100% neon the electric blue with the Neon Yellow waistband just POPS. The fit of Cocksox and the amazing colors just makes it a winner in my book. I have told them all along they need to create a jock in this color combo! This pair is a fuller cut as compared to the CX01 bikini and is perfect for any sporting activity. Available for $27.00
We couldn’t leave out you trunk guys! Garçon Model has exploded on the men’s underwear market. They launched last year and this year they created the Espanola trunk made in neon colors and accents. This pair has super bright yellow with pink accent. The color combo just pops! It leaves me to wonder what do you wear them under? Available for $34.00
Lastly we bring you a long boxer brief. If you are looking for a pair to look good and work out in, then this pair if for you. UnderArmour is made for working out and sporting activities. One of the features of this pair is the fast drying material, which makes it ideal for working out or outdoor sports. The length is 6 inches so it runs longer than most boxer briefs. So if you wear this under you work out clothes it may show, but again wearing something this bright, wouldn’t you want to show it off? Available for $22.00

I know we have a lot of Boxer Briefs fans out there. Its probably one of the most popular styles for all guys. So when a new style is released we try to bring them to you! The newest style from Quarter Homme is the Beau Hipster. You maybe asking what a hipster is, well its pretty much a trunk in the US. Around the world such as UK and Australia they call them Hipsters
This new pair comes in two different colors, blue or white. Each pair has the same colors in contrast. I really like the blue with the white trim. I think it really makes the blue pop. The material the hipster is made out of is 95% Cotton 5% Elastane. So it will give great support and have some stretch.
The waistband is the signature Quarter Homme Waistband with a white background and blue lettering. It’s a simple design that fits the pair well I think. In fact, he over all design is simplistic an clean. This I think is a good thing. Not every guy wants neon underwear!

Singlets and Bodysuits are exploding on the men’s underwear/gear market. Just when I think this trend is going to end more companies release new styles. Male Power is one of those companies. They have just released the Sheer Spandex Singlet. It’s more of a body suit than a traditional singlet but it’s still pretty fun.
These are not for everyone but the guys who read us that love them will like this. It’s like a brief with a tank attached. The sides are cut low and the tank section is sheer. One of the biggest complaints I hear from you guys is how underwear fit real guys. If you’re an underwear model with a 30-32 waist, you have no problem finding underwear. However, very few of us can consider ourselves male models.
Real guys have real issues with underwear. Some of the biggest issues we hear are from endowed guys, guys with butts, big thighs, bigger guys and smaller guys. I’m sure there are tons more out there. We want to tackle these issues on the blog!
In order to do this we need your help! We want to hear your issues in finding underwear. What are your biggest gripes? How do you overcome those issues?
We are looking for some guys to talk too and explore how we can meet these needs. Speaking as an endowed guy it’s hard to find underwear that fits in the pouch. You see a great pair of underwear and put them on and…. Well you don’t fit. Guys with butts have the same kinds of problems. They sometimes have to buy a pair of underwear a size up, which I don’t think still fits well. One area that I think is under represented is smaller guys. It may seem funny but guys under 29 inches have their own issues.
We are creating a Google Drive form you guys can fill out and offer your advice and problems. We would love to follow up and maybe interview you on the blog about the problem. All responses are confidential and if we interview/quote you, we can use a pseudonym.

On the review table for today is the CXO3 Waistband Brief from Cocksox. This is my first pair of underwear from Cocksox. I was pretty excited when the package arrived and I realized what was inside. Getting underwear is always fun, we all know that. Upon examining them
I realized I was sent a pair of small briefs. As you know I usually wear briefs in medium. I was a bit concerned by this considering how small they looked when I held them up. The fabric was soft and seemed stretchy enough to form to my butt and provide me with all day coverage. I also took notice of the pouch and was curious to see how that fit, but more on that later.
When I wear a pair of underwear to review I prefer to go about my day as normal. Doing abnormal activities wouldn’t allow me to give you all an honest and fair judgment. Keeping true to this I wore them to work. The key thing to mention here is that my pants are fairly tight fitting. This is where it is important to mention the pouch of the underwear. They push all your package right out front and don’t really allow them to be pushed back. While wearing tighter pants this very evident as things could be seen through my pants. Maybe this is why my sales for the day were better than everyone else’s. As for the rest of wear, they stayed put. No wedgies or misplaced leg holes throughout the day. I will say that taking a bathroom break and trying to tuck myself back into the pouch was a bit challenging. Once I was situated back into them I again took notice of my frontal protrusion. Kinda funny really.
I mentioned earlier that I was sent a size small to test out. Yes, I was concerned about how they would fit. To be very honest I do feel that a medium would have been better, but the smalls weren’t bad either. The rule I follow is that I wear small trunks and medium briefs, in most cases. I always wear small jocks, except for Unico. Exceptions to every rule you see. This is a pair where following my rule for briefs would have been best. According the website for Cocksox they do follow American sizing, but again we all know what works best for each of us.
Did I like them? Well to be honest, I’m still on the fence about that. On one hand they were comfortable. The material used to make them was soft and despite not being my usual size choice, still conformed nicely to my butt. On the other hand though, they were a bit revealing and forceful in the way they presented my package. I have found that a lot of the other lifting pouches still allow your outer clothing to push your package back not allowing too much to be revealed. I think if I had worn them in a different setting they might have not shown as much, but again I want to give a fair review and most of my underwear will see a day work at some point or another. I did ask my boyfriend for his thoughts and well, he said the front looked like a Peep. I wish I was making that up. I guess my final thought on whether I liked them or not is that yes, they are fun, but I’d probably go for a less pronounced pouch in the future.

We always hear some of you guys say you want to see real guys in underwear. You like the model shots but you want to see how the underwear fits real guys. Well, Garçon Model did that with it’s Kickstarter. They had one backer to be a model in a shoot. That person is Vernon.
Here is what Garçon Model said about the shoot:
“Vernon was flown in to Vancouver and was a great sport and a natural in front of the camera. His energy and positivity shined through in this beautiful photo shoot. Vernon became a friend and he’s now part of the GM family!”
They did a quick interview with Vernon and here is what he said:
1. What pushed you to make the Kickstarter pledge?
I am always open to new experiences. Makes life interesting and exciting. The only pledge level that struck a cord was the one involving the photo shoot. Several years ago, I was into bodybuilding and, at the encouragement of friends, I had professional photos taken. The photographer suggested that I consider print work. I joined a couple of “casting” companies in the area, but nothing ever came of it given my busy work schedule. This pledge gave me the opportunity to do something I have always wanted to do.
2. What sets Garçon Model apart from the others?
Love the way it looks on me. It is extremely comfortable and offers great support throughout the day. I am a pretty active guy. Whether it be sweat or spray while on the boat, the fabric holds up really well when moist or wet. Other brands tend to stick and pull.
3. So… how did the shoot go?
The photo shoot was fun but harder work than I expected. I guess that could be due in part to my inexperience. I felt really awkward and stiff in the beginning. A drink or two probably would have helped. The guys were great. They were very patient and talked me through it all. The joking around helped a lot. As the shoot progressed, it got easier. Would love to do it again, but definitely won’t quit my day job.
