As I announced on the podcast and yesterday we are doing a Secret Santa on the Podcast. It got me thinking are any of you giving underwear or have it on your wish list for someone to buy you? This year on the UNB Brief Talk Podcast we are doing a Secret Santa! All our guys are participating and from what I gather all pairs are in the mail now! We talked about it last year but did it too late, however, this year we are right on time for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals. - First, we found out who was interested in joining and then I digitally drew names. How I did it for UNB was randomly put people on a spreadsheet. Then I used a random number generator to pick the order of the numbers. Our only issue was we had a copule we didn’t want to choose each other but it all worked out. The only down side is that I know who everyone has (heheh) and I know who has me.
- Next, set the rules for purchasing. Now, I thought that we would all get one pair per person. As we went through I discovered that most guys bought two pairs. I thought about putting a limit on it but knowing undies I didn’t do that. I would say put a one or two pair rule on it. We had someone who will be nameless that put a $500 screen shot in our group text. If he bought that we’d all be pissed, except the person he was buying for, but he didn’t spend that much. But next year we will set a pair or mentary limit. One thing I did do is give the guys a discount at the UNB Store if they wanted to shop. No one had to shop there but since it’s there why not get a deal.
- Make sure everyone has sent their undies. In person this is not necessary but if you are doing this all online and across the country its imporant that everyone who participated gets a present in return.
- Get on Zoom and open the undies and see what everyone got! We are going to randomly pick guys to unwrap or in our case, open the undies.
- Lastly, share your purchases on social media!
This should be fun and I am sure we are going to do this next year as well. We may do a swim-thong secret swim in the summer!

Buddy Smugglers is one of those companies that just brings me joy. They make some of the most creative and fun swim briefs on the market. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, they are an Aussie brand that makes swim briefs or budgy smugglers for every guy. If you check out their social media you will see rugby teams and more wearing them!
However, they just released this VB Rashie, or as we say here in the US, a Rash Guard. The first thing you will notice is it’s a one piece. Most rash guards or rashies are just spandex shirts. I love the print and the design. This needs to be a regular pair they produce!

The holiday’s are right around the corner. It’s time we will get online and go out and shop till we drop. However one thing is left off most guys wish list is undies. This year we are starting the Secret Santa on the Podcast. The presents we will be giving is undies!!! This got me thinking that we need to bring undies back under the tree. Granted, the ones we got as kids were usually the six pack of briefs or boxer briefs, which now very few of use would welcome. How can we share our undies with others?
- Wish List – Many sites lets you create a wish list. You can go through and pick out your favorites. then you can share with your friends, family and significant other to order. This is probably the easiest way for people to buy and ship all in the same list. However, not every site has a wish list.
- Spread Sheet – If your favorite site doesn’t have a wish list or your want to share multiple sites you can create a spreadsheet with links. This can be done on Excel or Google Sheets.
- Window Shop together – if you have a supportive partner or friend go shopping at your favorite store or online. Share with them what you love and why you love it. This will give them a better idea of what you like and don’t like. I know there are a lot who won’t have this option and that sucks but if you are lucky enough, take advantage of it.
