Jor Eros Thong (Red or Blue)

They were a big hit and in each subsequent collection, they have added new colors. The red has white elastic on the side and the blue has black elastic. These are just the perfect thongs. Made out of 78% Nylon 22% Spandex

Lover Bikini (Red or Blue)

Lace is one of those fabrics that is taking hold in men’s underwear. While not for everyone, there is a strong audience for men’s lace. The last collection JOR released a few pairs of lace and they are back with this super hot bikini. Red and blue are the perfect colors for this line. I mean red always pop but if you want a pair that shows off more go with the blue. Made out of a fabric consisting of 78% Nylon 22% Spandex. BTW it comes in a jock and thong as well.

Apollo Briefs (Candy or Grey)

One thing that I know about you guys is you love pink. It’s not just Wednesday you wear pink, every day is a great day for pin. The Apollo briefs are a full sided brief with a great pouch. This pair is made out of a fabric consisting of 96% Polyester 4% Spandex.

Warrior Thong

The Warrior thong is for the print lovers out there. This thong has one of the most amazing prints I have seen in a while. When I first saw the pair I did a double take, I thought it was swim wear but it’s not it’s underwear. Dare to say that if you are a thong lover who likes prints this is a must have for your underwear drawer. Don’t worry if you aren’t a thong fan it comes in a bikini and jock as well. The fabric is a 96% Polyester 4% Spandex blend.

Pheonix Thong (Mint or Blue)

Last is a classic for JOR. The Pheonix line has been around for a few years. It’s a classic cut thong that keeps all the thongers happy out there. The colors they have had ranged from black, white to super fun gold and silver. This collection they have branched out into the pastels with mint and blue. I love pastel colors in men’s underwear. It’s not something you see every day and is different! Again like many of the other pairs these come in a bikini as well! The fabric is a 78% Nylon 22% Spandex blend.

Spring arrived early at Men and Underwear – The Shop and enriched our mood with many positive emotions! This season is the time when nature awakes and everything is fresh, alive and new. Many of us start thinking about what we will do in the summer while others enjoy the scents of flowers and the good weather without making any plans for the summer. If you are under 30, it’s a safe bet that you don’t remember life without the internet. The internet has made it easy to get information at our fingertips. The internet also made it effortless to find and try new underwear brands. All you have to do is scroll through IG or Twitter, and you can find guys wearing a plethora of brands you may never have heard of before.

I am going to turn this topic into a podcast at some point. I think getting a few guys together and sharing our experiences finding and buying underwear back in the day.

I’m going to take you back to the 1980s. The 80s was one of the best times in men’s underwear. Underwear for men had yet to embrace the boxer (yes, this was the decade we blame for the resurgence of the boxer) or invent the boxer brief. The boxer brief we can blame on the 90s and Marky Mark.

There were only two ways to buy underwear. The first was to go to a store and purchase it directly. The other way is to order through a catalog. Luckily there were several options for underwear back in the day across the spectrum.

When I was coming of age and discovering underwear, around 12-13, briefs and bikinis were kings. Every store had bikinis, including Kmart, Richway (before Target), and other assorted stores. The holy grail to me was Rich’s. Rich’s was a local department store in Atlanta, bought out in the ’80s by Macy’s. They had so many styles and colors. The store I went to most was in the suburbs and not in the city.

Macy’s had Calvin Klein and Jockey. I hear many of you going, Jockey? They are now a boring underwear company. However, they are getting some of their histories for bikinis and thongs back. Jockey had some of my favorites. First was the Jockey Elance bikinis. These came three to a tube. You heard me; they were in a round tube. They had two kinds of bikinis. The first is the solid cotton bikinis, and the second and more challenging to find were the nylon bikinis. I LOVED these bikinis. They had more stretch than the cotton, but they weren’t around long. I don’t recall them much beyond the ’90s

When I think back, one of my favorite pairs ever was a bikini from Jockey called Skants. It was a bikini cut higher but was 100% nylon. I think it was the first time I ever had a pouch in a pair of undies. I slid them on and was like, “OMG, Where has this been all my life.” I only got one pair of these and never found them again. The demise of this pair was that the pouch had a run in it, yes, like women’s nylons. The run was right down the center of the pouch, and it very much felt like a cheese grater on my goods.

Rich’s/Macy’s brought in 2(X)IST, which shaped my underwear throughout the years. There are so many other brands that I can’t recall that I bought in the ’80s and early 90s from Macy’s.

I didn’t have to go to the mall to find bikinis. Every day stores had them as well. It was like an entire wall bikini. I specifically remember three brands back in the day, Hang Ten, Spalding, and Brut. Hang Ten was a classic bikini in every sense of the word. Hang Ten was a simple and comfy bikini. Spalding was one of my favorites because it was skimpy, well, for the time, and I wore the hell out of these. My favorite pair was a white pair with a light and dark blue stripe. Lastly was the most creative and interesting, Brut.

Brut was a brand made of 100% polyester and came in so many prints. Some of these would have blown your mind if you love prints now. I remember a print with brown, blue, and other colors. It sounds hideous, but it was such a cool print. The downside was these had no stretch at all. If you bought the wrong size, they would bind you like no one’s business. They were also low-rise bikinis with thicker sides.

In the ’80s, bikinis were plentiful. Many guys wore them as well, and I’m not talking just gay guys. If you wanted a thong, jock, or something sexy, that wasn’t so easy to get. Your options were a “specialty store” or catalog. The more seedy way to buy undies was in an ad in the back of a magazine (they weren’t always in adult mags either, some were in fitness magazines).

Let’s tackle jocks first. In the ’80s, there were no fashion jocks. They were made for one purpose, well, two purposes. The first was sports. The Bike classic #10 was one I think most guys had growing up. I don’t recall many wearing them back then unless you were serious about sports. In most casual sports, you just wore briefs. The second purpose involved gay fetishes. Leatherback in the day always had jocks, and 80s porn pretty much included jocks. I think this was because they were so easy to get. Pretty much the only place to purchase them was at a sporting goods store. Very few regular stores carried them, and if they did, they weren’t with the underwear and in the sporting goods aisle.

Thongs were not big back in the 80s and early ’90s. I remember buying my first thong. It was at a store called “Blue Moon” in Atlanta. Blue Moon was in Akers Mill shopping center across from the Macy’s; I would get my underwear. This was a gift shop that carried all kinds of things. One day I was in and discovered they had men’s thongs. One was pink, one was camo, and one was red. I just stared at them, not even touching them cause I thought, “everyone will know I”m gay.” It wasn’t until my 2-3 visit that I started to go through the basket and see what they had. I don’t recall why I got the nerve to pick one up (and for those wondering, it was a Sauvage thong), and I bought it. Two older gay gentlemen ran the store. At the time, I had no clue, but looking back, they were always eager to help and ring up my purchases. They were nice guys. I would go back and purchase so many more from them.

I was a thong pioneer because I joined a gym (which was nowhere near my home) and would wear thongs to the gym under my spandex shorts. I was a total twink and didn’t care who looked and loved every minute of it. No one was ever in the locker room when I changed from my bikinis to thongs to work out. And when they did, no one paid attention. I would go back to Blue Moon to buy more and told the gentlemen about working out in them, and they told me they had many muscle guys buying them to work out in them. Sadly, they closed not long after that, and my source of thongs had to move to catalogs.

All this happened when I was in and around my Junior and senior in high school. My undies love expanded then because I could drive and go to the mall whenever I wanted. Also, my job in High School was by the mall, so sometimes I’d leave early and go, or if I worked weekends, I’d go after work. When I went to college in Atlanta, my underwear purchases shifted to catalogs. I’m not talking about the Sears or JC Penny catalogs. I mean the International Male catalog. I discovered it in a gay store that sold magazines (you know art magazines) and took it home. The first time I opened the catalog, it was like my fantasies had come to life. These guys are in unique undies: bikinis, Thongs, and many more styles. The underwear came in every color of the rainbow. I wanted it all. But, I had to wait till I got my first credit card in college.

To be honest, I never thought of mailing in the form to get my gear. It was stuck right in the middle of the catalog, but I called in and placed an order cause I wanted it NOW. My budget was limited, so I would only buy $30 worth of undies at a time. I got 3-4 pairs of undies at a time, unlike today when you can get just one pair for that price. I got a PO Box to get my packages without anyone snooping. After a few years of doing some small orders, I got an International Male credit card with a whopping limit of $200. I thought I hit the jackpot and sat down with the catalog and decided what I would get. I didn’t max out the card with the first purchase, trust me, I wanted to, but I had to keep in mind there would be a new catalog in a few weeks, and I needed to save some room on the card for the latest gear I would want. This card got maxed out so much as soon as I paid it down, I got even more undies and ran it back up. I”m sure those ladies who answered the phone came to know me back in the day. I called them so many times over the years.

International Male made it so easy to get “sexy” and fun underwear. If you were gay in the 80s, it was part of your welcome packet when you came out. International Male, I think, is why we have a lot of the undies we have now. The people there were true pioneers of the men’s underwear/gear industry and made fun and exciting things. International Male introduced so many guys to underwear and spandex in the day.

I have gone this long and not touched on Swim Briefs, aka Speedos! I wore them as often as I could. I saw a Speedo in person (yes, it was the official Speedo brand) in Rich’s in 1984; it was a 1984 Olympics speedo with Sam the eagle (the mascot that year). I wanted this stretch piece of swimwear so bad. It was $25, way out of my budget if memory serves me correctly. I never got this pair. We took a vacation to Virginia Beach to visit family a few months later, and two things happened. First, I saw my first two guys wearing speedos in the wild. I couldn’t keep my eyes off them. I had to get one. One afternoon I went to a store that sold swimwear and grabbed one and ran up to the counter to buy it. It was a purple speedo that was a size 36, granted at the time; I was a 31-inch waist on a good day. It was way too big. I would have that pair for many years. In college, I discovered the Boy Next Door here in Atlanta. I walked in and saw a wall of swim briefs in every color, pattern, and design. I was blown away. This would be where I would buy all my swimwear for years to come.

I wore Speedos/swim briefs as much as I could in the 90s. I would wear speedos under my swim shorts if it was a speedo-friendly pool and lose the shorts during this time. One of my favorite spots was in Piedmont Park. There is a hill by Tenth St. and Monroe, where the Park Tavern is today. But in the 90s, it was a vacant event space for most of the time. Guys would lay out in speedos on the hill. I was there as much as I could, laying out with the other speedo guys. I always had a speedo in the trunk to put it on and layout. Even if I ran errands and could go for 20 minutes, I’d do it. In 1996 I went to Panama City (i know, girl, I know). And wanted to wear my flag speedo on the beach, and my ex threatened to kill me if I took my shorts off.

Wow, this post has grown farther than what I wanted to do, but I’m not done. I want to share my first singlets, pre-internet days. In the early part of college, I decided I wanted a singlet. I had seen them on high school wrestlers and thought they were sexy as well. No one sold singlets in a catalog or store. You had to go to a sporting goods store. Not just any sporting goods store, but a store that specialized in wrestling. We had one near me, and I went in like I was looking for something for my younger brother and found three Cliff Kleen singlets.
One was a reversible nylon/poly singlet. The other two were a spandex red and a blue lower cut singlet. Sliding them

on, I was in heaven with the spandex. They felt better than the spandex shorts and tights I wore at the time. The store near me didn’t have the fuller cut singlets I wanted. I had to break out the yellow pages and call a specialty sporting store about 20 minutes away that specialized in weights and wrestling to ask if they had singlets. They said yes, and one day I ventured over there and got a navy singlet with white trim. They didn’t have many, but this one was in my size, and I got it. I still have all four of these singlets. I’m surprised they have survived the years. The Navy had some of the colors run onto the white trim, but other than that, it’s in good shape (well, last time I tried to put it on).

Flash forward to now, and you can get underwear, thongs, jocks, singlets, and gear online. You never have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to. You never have to walk holding a thong on a hanger up to the cashier and have her ring up your purchases. In my teens, I was very much “I don’t want them to see what I’m buying.” But, by my 20’s, I gave no fucks. I would walk up with a jock, thong, or singlet and pay for it. That carries over to this day; I’ll buy anything and not care what the person checking me out says or thinks.

Many guys today hate to shop in person. Some guys even refuse to go in and buy something. It’s all done online, and they can remain anonymous. I miss shopping in person, feeling the pairs, and seeing the colors in person. I am lucky I live in a city with a store that carries excellent brands in undies and swimwear. If you grew up in a world without the internet, please get in touch with me and share where you shopped. Any old brands you loved that aren’t around, and do you miss those days of going shopping in person for gear?

This week, I walked down memory lane and searched out Jockey’s fantastic ads in the ’70s and ’80s. I noticed that they had a lot of star athletes strip down to their undies for their ads. I’m talking Pete Rose, Jim Palmer, and more. We needed this today to get our most prominent sports stars in some amazing undies in an ad for all to see.

I grew up during the Jim Palmer ads. It amazed me that this major MLB pitcher is standing in a pair of bikinis, and no one ever called him gay, questioned his manhood, or gave him any flack about posing. The kicker is these ads appeared in mainstream magazines; the ones I always saw were in People magazine. A magazine not known for its men’s underwear ads. The only place I saw men’s underwear advertisements that were “sexy” was the workout magazines. Magazines such as Exercise for men only and Men’s Work out.

One ad, in particular, got me thinking about why we don’t have sports stars in underwear ads. The ad I saw had football, baseball, and hockey stars (see above). It’s not a very good scan of the advertisement, so I apologize you can’t read it. This got me thinking about what athletes we should have as underwear models/spokespeople. I’m not talking like Tim Tebow, who never wore underwear when he was Jockey’s spokesperson.

Since the 70s/80s, we have had changes in our society. More straight guys are getting into undies, which is a fantastic thing! However, more guys get labeled gay for wearing bikinis and thongs. I’m almost positive that if we had sports stars in bikinis, we’d hear the “See, I knew he was gay.” Or, “I didn’t know (insert name) was gay.’ On the other hand, a series like this will help show that mainstream underwear isn’t gay or straight. And it’s ok to wear something that is form-fitting and shows off your manly goods.

I am not the most sports-minded guy; I know this shocks many of you! There are a few guys I initially thought of, like Gus Kenworthy, Tom Daily, and such. We all know the hot athletes, but I had to google hot NFL and MLB players. Here are a few of the names I came up with for guys who would be awesome in undies. They are:

  • Evan McPherson – NFL player
  • Gus Kenworthy – Olympic Snowboarder
  • Tom Daily – Olympic Diver
  • James McCann – MLB player
  • James McCann – MLB player
  • Julian Edelman – NFL Player
  • Julian Edelman – NFL Player
  • Reggie Bush – NFL Player
  • J.J Watt – NFL Player
  • Mychal Kendricks – NFL Player
  • Chris Young – MLB PLayer
  • Nathan Chen – Figure Skater
  • Chris Kinney – Olympic Bobsledder
  • Joey Mantia – Olympic Speed Skater

This list is not the end-all-be-all list of guys. Many of our readers are sports fans and can suggest more guys for the list. I would love to hear who you think should model undies. To do this, I have created a poll to add your favorite athletes in any sport that you think would look good in undies.

Tell our readers/listeners a little bit about you if they may not know you?

I currently call Galveston Island Texas home, and have for the past 12 years. I don’t have too many hobbies, I have turned what might be traditional hobbies into opportunities. I can rarely be still, so I am either working at one of my jobs, or creating something for another. Whether it’s my paid writing gigs, managing call centers in Galveston, doing remodeling or construction work, my work as an adjunct instructor or modeling, I don’t like idle time.

When did you start your social media accounts? And did you start off showing your love of underwear and gear? Did you create an account just for underwear? Did you join and discover the underwear world and create a separate account or did you just dive right in? Also, list your social accounts. Do you have more than one account (across social sites such as Twitter, IG, TikTok, etc)

Started with MySpace back in college, transitioned to Model Mayhem, Instagram and now Twitter is where most of my stuff is posted due to IG’s unfriendly male model restrictions. The modeling stuff just evolved around underwear and swimwear since I am not a tall or typical model.  @dwchasemodel on Twitter is where I post multiple times daily. IG: modeldwchase you will mostly just find stories or redirects to Twitter.

Where you hesitant about starting your underwear/gear social account? This could be either body image or other issues. Such as did you think you were too big, too skinny

Self-esteem is something that’s promoted on social media for many, not something I have that much in real life. For my “DW Chase” persona, no hesitation, not at all. I have been modeling in underwear and swimwear for so long it seems second nature. I am always trying to gain more muscle.

Does your account specialize in a certain type of underwear or gear? Such as thongs, spandex or do you like all kinds.

A friend of mine from Australia really pushed me toward Jock Straps for workouts, so that’s something I have embraced over the past few years and really gotten into. I like the variety of mixing things up and often take suggestions from fans on what they would like to see more of. On my FanClub Website dwchase.com you will see a plethora of thong, jock, underwear, sheer, spandex, swimwear, and everything in between.

What was the initial response to your account(s)? Did it take off right away or did it take time to grow? If it took time to grow, how did you grow your accounts?

My original Instagram was closed at 34k, but that was years of promoting and posting. My Twitter is slowly growing, but honestly I don’t pay much attention to the numbers. I just post what I think looks good, or what fans request and let the numbers be what they are. I think when you pay too much attention to followers you lose sight of the purpose.

What type of content resonates with your followers? Is it pictures, videos, stories?

The more skin the better, that the main type of content. My MO has always been about the tease, and while I have certainly shown more on dwchase.com than I ever thought I would (videos, photos), I think the older I get the more comfortable I get.

What is your favorite thing about showing your love of underwear/gear on social media? Have you met great friends, do you like being an exhibitionist. Met a significant other?

I have certainly met some cool people, and while I am not much of a public person, I have enjoyed getting to know fellow underwear and swimwear enthusiasts, as well as brand designers and fans of the same things.

Do you work with brands? If so what have been some of your favorite collaborations? If not who would you love to work with?

Over the years yes, I have developed a very good relationship with Rufskin, their stuff is just fantastic. When you buy something from them, the longer you have it, the more you appreciated it. I am certainly not the first person any brand is going to turn to, but sometimes they are nice enough to send me stuff, other times I like their products so much I just pay what I need for shoots, travel, etc. I am really intrigued by what KVRT is doing, interested to see what they do next.

In a world of thongs, it sometimes seems the jockstrap is left out of the underwear world. However, the jockstrap is a mainstay of the men’s underwear world. Other pairs may gain popularity, but there will always be jock guys out there. I thought it would be cool to list three jocks that I really like and share those with you.

First, I think I’m like many guys out there; jocks were the first time growing up we wore something different. Jocks to me were so sexy. There was this pouch with no back. And it was socially acceptable for a guy to wear, well, when you were participating in sports. These were pre-internet days, and getting sexy underwear wasn’t as easy. Seeing a guy in a jock back then was like seeing a guy in a thong in the locker room today. To wrap up, I would say that a jock for most guys back in the day was one of the first pairs we sexualized and felt sexy wearing.

Ok, on to the three jocks that I really like. Just a note that these pairs aren’t the only jocks I love but three that really stand out to me. I have in my collection and have worn each of these over the years.

Bike #10 Jockstrap

This is the classic jock I grew up on and loved. It is a traditional jock with a 3-inch waistband, 1-inch leg straps, and a mesh-like pouch. It is what many sports require while growing up for guys to wear. Even professional sportswear this type of jock. Bike sadly left us a few years ago but luckily returned and brought back this classic jock. The #10 jock is iconic in the world of underwear.

Cocksox Jock

It’s no secret that I LOVE Cocksox bikinis. The pouch they make feels amazing and is one of the best on the market. It wasn’t till about ten years ago that I got to try a jock from them, and I was blown away. The BIke #10 is a classic, but Cocksox took the classic look and updated it for a modern guy. They used new fabrics and construction to create one of the most comfortable jocks on the market.

The best innovation Cocksox did to the jock was put their incredible pouch on the jock. The lift and support send this to my top spot in the jock category. Everything bout this pair is super comfortable, from the waistband, leg straps, and pouch.

Papi Cotton Jocks

The last may throw some of you, going, Papi? Yes, Papi! I tried these in 2012ish when I went to Vegas in the summer. I needed underwear that was comfy and also breathable. I thought these would be good. However, I was impressed by how well they performed during my visit. Especially since they are 100% cotton. I’m not a big 100% cotton guy, but these fit well, didn’t lose their shape, and did a great job keeping me cool and not retaining moisture. Another key feature I liked is it’s a lower profile jock as well. The waistband is a regular band and didn’t show over jeans and shorts. Granted, there is a time and place for everything but, I didn’t want to show off my underwear this day. The last thing about these is you can find a pack of three for $20 and sometimes on sale for less.

Honorable mentions

Some brands have jocks I love and would have put on there, but they either no longer make them or have become tough to find. First is Ergowear. I have a jock from them featuring, I believe, the Max pouch, and it’s amazing. However, when you look at their recent collections, the jocks have been removed. I hope they bring them back at some point. They have several pouch designs that are amazing with the jock design.

Next is one for sports. UnderArmour used to make a spandex jock that, on itself, was just an OK jock. The secret to this jock was that it had a cup pocket, and when you wore it with a cup, it was amazing how it fits. Most cup jocks are not the stretchiest material; this allows you to fit your junk in the jock and the cup to fit your body. It came in black and white. But sadly, they discontinued this jock.

If you are a fan of Grand Axis, then rejoice there is a new collection released called Atlas. Atlas is a collection of all-black gear. This is probably the most “classic” collection Steve has done. The last was white and pink, and he’s always been known for his colors. This could actually serve two purposes. The first is it can be worn as a classic pair of underwear work clothes. The second is it can be mixed and matched with fetishwear. Maybe a harness or chaps, puppy hood, you name it.

This collection consists of Boxer Brief, Brief, Jock, and a thong. This is what the Grand Axis site says about the line. “With our NEW Atlas Collection, comfort is king, and it comes in form of an elegantly understated silhouette. Our custom ultra-soft-and-stretchy Modal Spandex conforms to your shape while still giving everything a chance to breath. The front pouch is framed with our premium elastic binding to keep things in place during physical activity, making it perfect for all day & night wear.”

I love a good underwear challenge and have debated doing another UNB Challenge. Still, before I could decide, our very own Andy, aka Scruffygear and the Thongslut, created this super fun challenge for February. You maybe ask why do you like a challenge. They allow guys to participate in the whole month or take part on certain days. Plus, they are a fun way to get guys to celebrate their love of undies.

Here is the list for February, go have fun with the rest of the month

It’s been a year already, I have had several issues over the last few months that have taken my time away from UNB. I have not abandoned it, and I just had to put a few things ahead of it. I hope that changes this year and I can be back at it. Luckily nothing major like Vegas 2020. There was. No hospital stays, but a stream of bad luck. But enough of my issues.

You may be asking why we need larger sizes in men’s underwear. We need to see guys who look great in undies. Well, the first response is everyone has a different standard of beauty and what’s hot. We all have our type, and one guy loves to see a muscular guy in a thong, another wants to see a bear in that same thong.

In the US, one thing to know is that the average man’s waist size is 38-40 inches. Yes, I just said 38-40 inches. The research I did on Google, for the most part, had this sizing. Some of the posts said 35, but I don’t think that is correct for everyone. If we are talking about the gay, average waist size, I could see it being smaller, closer to 34, but we are talking all sexual orientations.

UNB has always been a proponent that underwear is for everyone, not just gay guys. As we have progressed over the last 13 years, I have seen this come to fruition. The number of straight guys who love bikinis and thongs has gone mainstream. Well, mainstream in the world of underwear lovers. Each passing year we get more and more guys buying undies. One of the biggest complaints I have heard over the years is getting good undies in their size.

Speaking from the perspective of a guy over the 40-inch waist mark, I can attest that it’s hard to find good underwear in the style I like wearing. My preference is a pouch brief or bikini. I do not want boxer briefs without a pouch. Once you get oversize 38, it seems that most only make boxer briefs for bigger guys. That’s fine if you like or love the style (yes, we have boxer brief fans out there). However, if you don’t like it and want to feel sexy, your selection is limited.

I’m not going to throw brands under the bus in this post. There are so many brands that only make sizes up to 38 or even 36. Or they make singlets and spandex and don’t go into larger sizes either. First, making larger sizes in gear is not just for guys with a bigger waist but also for tall guys. I am 6’4,” and when I was a 34/35 waist, I needed an XL or bigger in gear to fit my height. But don’t get me on the Singlet tangent.

If we want to expand the market for more guys, we need to consider having bigger sizes in sexy undies. It’s refreshing to see Candyman investing in making their sexy undies in larger sizes. Note that I do sell Candyman in the UNB Store. However, I have no input on the brand or what they design. Their latest shoot mixes the bigger guy with traditional models. I think it’s their hottest shoot yet. Not only because it’s a sexually charged shoot, but it’s a mix of body types.

I want to see brands that are devoted to larger guys who love skimpy undies. We do have brands catering to this crowd, but they are still doing some basic styles a lot of times. I’m not knocking these brands at all. I’m so happy they are making undies up to 5XL. They are carving out their spot in the underwear market and succeeding. I want to see more brands like Candyman creating sexy underwear. My ideal is a thong brand just for bigger guys.

Some of you out there will read this and go, “this doesn’t apply to me.” And so you know when I was in my 20’s I was a 31-33 waist. As I have aged and my metabolism slowed, things changed. I would have never thought in my 20’s I would have this waist size, but that’s life, and things happen. Even if you are a muscular guy, support your fellow underwear lovers out there who want to wear sexy undies. It’s time to let all men have the undies they love and feel sexy wearing the size they need.
