I do love Speedos, not just the swim briefs but the brand. I used to wear them years ago when I was on a master’s swim team. One of the new pairs I love from Speedo is the Color-Blocked speedo. I love the width of the sides and the super tight fit that Speedos have, the fabric feels great and I still remember the first time I slid on a pair of Speedos and it blew me away.

When you think of Speedo, Olympic swimmers come to mind, or at least competitive swimmers. Note, you can’t use the term “Speedo” to cover all swim briefs. But I won’t give a lesson on Copywrite protection. But they have always focused just on competitive swimming and rarely stepped outside of that box.

Speedo started a new campaign for their Vibe collection. Their message is, “you can wear your practice suits outside of the pool.” I feel the only time they step outside of this box is for the Solar suits. If you aren’t familiar, the solar suits are bikini cut with one-inch sides. I know many of our readers love this suit.

I think Speedo could market some of their suits for people outside of the lap pool. More guys are wearing smaller swimwear. I like the classic Speedo suits. I think they look good on many different body types. Especially beefy guys, the 3-inch sides, I believe, are a good look.

The new campaign I initially saw in a video on Facebook. The campaign is focused on friends at a day at the beach rather than performance. This got me thinking, why hasn’t Speedo ever done this type of campaign before, or why haven’t they created a fun collection for the beach?

First, they have the money to do such a campaign. They have been around for over 50 years and are a staple in the world of swimming. Next, Speedo could use the same designs and use different and fun fabric featuring bolder colors and prints. Third, the collection could be a limited edition for summer. Lastly, if the campaign is successful making it a yearly campaign with new, limited edition designs each summer.

These are just some of my thoughts, curious to hear some of yours. Leave a comment

Cocksox has dropped their new collection called Florida Collection. “Featuring a vibrant palette of bright pastel tones and nostalgic prints, the Florida Collection evokes the vintage vibes of cabanas, sunsets, and cocktails.” This is a great collection for summer. The colors and prints are just a lot of fun and very much Florida-inspired.

For the very first time we’ve combined the flattering comfort of our classic boxer with the trademark enhancing support of our legendary briefs. The CX94 Boxer Brief brings the two together in one luxurious design, while the extra room in the pouch will give your day a refreshing lift.

And the Cocksox Waistband Brief gets a stylish update with contrast colour binds on the leg openings. The thicker binds on the CX03BD also give a more secure fit on the legs, so no riding up when you’re on the go.

Alongside the two new styles, the Florida Collection is also available in five classic Cocksox cuts:-
CX68N Trunk – Skimpy trunks with high-cut sides and the Contour Pouch out front
CX76N Sports Brief – Ultimate comfort for the active man
CX05 Thong – Minimal coverage out back, maximum enhancing comfort out front
CX01 Brief – The original Cocksox design, enhancing Original Pouch and classic brief style
CX21N Jockstrap – Supplex fabric, Original Pouch, and an extra-wide waistband for ultimate support

If you want this new swimwear line, don’t worry. This fun line is available in several different swimwear styles. Briefs, trunks, or thongs – whatever your swimwear of choice, it’s available.

I have a rant. I don’t do them too much on the site, but today I have spent the day trying to find some cute swim shorts. Now, you think this would be an easy task. There are plenty out there, and it should be a simple task. Well, I currently have a 42 waist and getting motivated to get into better shape and such. But in the meantime, I want some cute shorts I can wear to friends’ pools or when I’m not feeling wearing a swim brief. Yes, it happens.

Everything I found ends at a 36-inch waist and sometimes a 38. But there was nothing really larger that I liked. Beefy boy has a swim trunk, but it’s camo, and I want something bright and fun. I may end up getting those just because there is nothing else out there. This isn’t a slam to Beefyboy, I’m sure tons of guys want their swimwear, but I just wanted some bold, fun colors. Which I”m sure sells great for them.

Then I did something I should have known better. I googled swimwear for a 42-inch waist. I was lost in a wasteland of down to the knees or below swimwear. OMG, I can’t deal with that much fabric when I swim. Why do they think all guys, beefy guys, want them to your knees? None of the beefy boys I know want the super baggy swimwear. We want something fun.

If you know brands that don’t sell swimwear for 80+ bucks and are bright and fun, let me know. Every brand I could think of didn’t have anything in my size. Even brands I know they had extended sizes didn’t have swimwear above XL. BLEH, is what I say.

GET HOT AND SWEATY IN OUR NEW LOCKER GEAR JOCKSTRAPS

Sports Fetish is often a mindset that takes place in the bedroom or backroom with your jockstrap on. With Locker Gear’s new Jocks the visual hits home what sports fetish really is, throwing subtlety out the door.

With the Locker Gear Massive Harder Zipper Jockstrap, the ultra-wide masculine waistband with it’s multiple bands of sports stripes built will get you into any locker room out there. But the pouch is pure kink and with it’s slick pvc fabric and functional contrasting colored zipper running down the center you’ll be skipping the lines at your local fetish club.

Along with the wide waistband, the leg straps are also nice and thick for a bit of butt lifting action.

The Locker Gear Leatherette Jockstrap waistband screams gym but the pouch screams Folsom. Like the Zipper Jock above, this jock also features that masculine ultra-wide waistband but this pouch has leather-look panels with a partially see-through mesh panel down the center. Contrasting stitching between panels and black piping with contrasting color hits a stylish home run.

Along with the wide waistband, the leg straps are also nice and thick for a bit of butt lifting action.

Whether you’re having sex or wearing these jocks at the gym – things are going to be hot and sweaty.

Want a pop of color? New swimwear brand Sturrock Street has looked at a fresh take on simple prints, which scream fun. Starting the business only two months ago, these swimmers are already very popular.

The fabric is designed with practical use in mind, so for those keen pool swimmers, these could be a good solution for moving past the typical brands you see in the lanes. Whether you’re into a more classic look with the Strike Green or Power Rangers-inspired designs, there’s something for everyone. I love that they have two different designs in Green!

Each pair is currently retailing for $60 AUD shipping worldwide. I am excited to see where this brand goes!

I”m sure many of you who love working out and being active already know about Kapow Meggings. They are a brand of leggings or, as they call them, Meggings for men. The company, founded by two brothers in Sydney when they were at Burning Man. They saw all the guys walking around in leggings made for women because they couldn’t find bright ones for men.

One interesting fact about the brand. The name came from the sounds effects from comic books. The sounds are Zap, Pow, Bang. Superheroes wear spandex and still look amazing. Now you can look amazing in the bright and bold colors of the brand.

Don’t worry; not all designs are bold and over the top. They have 35 different designs in their original range. The more classic is the Performance Range that has 9 designs. These are more classic and won’t raise eyebrows at the gym or running. But, hey, some of us love to wear something bold and fun.

If you are not into meggings, they have recently started their own swimwear and underwear lines. Both have the same style as the meggings. They include some of the amazing prints that you can see in the spandex.
