With the demise of Bike Jockstraps, you maybe looking for a great alternative for the classic jock. Well, look no further than JockUp. They have a jock that is everything classic. It has the wide waistband, comfy pouch and leg straps. They even have the stripe in the waistband and label on the front!
JockUp is a company I have profiled on UNB a few times. I think they are doing some great things in the world of underwear. They do classic cuts but updated for the modern man. Matthew the owner, has really found a great section of the market to be in!
They have had the white classic jock, but no colors. He said a while back that they would be releasing colors in the near future. He has made good on that promise. I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw the red! It made me very happy. There is also a black jock as well.
If you are a jock fan and looking for a replacement for the Bike #10, I highly suggest giving the JockUp classic jock a try. As I mentioned above, it has many of the same features as the classic jock. They have updated the fabrics to meet the needs of guys needs today.
The fabric is a Bamboo blend. You may be asking why is that good? It has breath-ability for working out. It also has some anti-bacterial properties as well. It’s a great update to the classic jock. I know many don’t like the old school nylon pouch. They want a bit more support and comfort.

This year we talked about underwear as gifts. Either its for you or someone else. If you haven’t read that post, head back to the UNB Archives for the Underwear as Gifts post. This post got me thinking. We all love certain things and are uncertain about what others like. It hit me why not give a subscription as a gift.
How do Subscriptions Work?
Think of it as the underwear of the month club. Every month you get a new pair of underwear. You pick the size and usually style. Then each month like clockwork you get something in the mail. Some of the services will let you pick one style. Like a brief, boxer brief, jock or thong. And you have to stick with that style. Others, will let you get a random style. So you never know what you’re going to get.
Some of the services pick a brand and send out the entire line. That means they will send out that line in each style. Such as the SupaWear SupaDupa line. Whereas, others will mix up what is sent out not always doing the same brand. If you’re getting this along with someone else you may not want to be matchy matchy, but that depends on your style.
Lastly, you can get underwear delivered in a few options. Most do 3 months, 6 Months or a Year. Just look at each site to see what they offer.
For Yourself
If you read UNB on any regular basis. You have styles and brands you love. Some of you even have very large collections. For someone to get you undies, it could be difficult for them to give you something you don’t have in your collection. A subscription will allow them to buy you underwear but get something new every month. Maybe even from brands you haven’t tried or mix up and get different styles.
You can suggest a service to someone close to you. Especially, if they know you love underwear. It takes the hassle out of trying to find something you don’t have in your underwear drawer.
For Someone Else
Let’s say you have a friend who wants to try new undies. You could go out and buy a pair, but wouldn’t exposing them to more than one pair be the perfect gift? An underwear a subscription will expose them to different styles, brands and fabrics. It will allow them to explore underwear with each new shipment.
Give them a 3 month or 6 month subscription to expose them to many different brands. I would suggest getting them a subscription that rotates styles as well. They may Thank you for it later!

Modus Vivendi is without question one of the world’s most prolific brands of men’s underwear and, as you probably know, it is Greece’s premier brand.
As it does each year, Modus Vivendi has put forward in 2016 a very extensive collection. It has featured designs of many different inspirations, presented in photographic campaigns from the four corners of the earth.
With its latest release the brand returns home, to Greece. The new Meander Line pays tribute to Ancient Greek civilisation, drawing inspiration from perhaps the most recognisable symbol of classic geometric art, the ‘meander’. This ancient key pattern has decorated countless buildings and adorned sculptures and friezes, becoming an icon of Greek art.
The Meander Line is luxurious. It comprises underwear and loungewear in two colours, blue and white, embellished with gold accents. Made from a top-quality cotton blend fabric, the line offers favoured styles that will please every man.
The campaign for the Meaner Line was produced in Athens. The photographs are the work of one of Greece’s top creative photographers, Vangelis Kyris. Our Greek kouros, Christos Katsavochristos, presents the line in classical poses of strength and control. This stylish underwear is bold, masculine and comfortable.
