Today we have four different pairs of swimwear for our Swimwear Sunday. Just Friday, Cocksox released the new Gala line. Perfect timing for our Swimwear Sunday. The new range is bright and fun. Plus, they make amazing swimwear. The pairs I have are amazing. I love wearing them and they fit awesome.

The Gala range features “glamorous wetlook style fabric, and is available in four luxurious colours across four classic swimwear cuts. This shimmering form-fitting fabric exudes confidence and is the perfect indulgent swimwear for the beach and pool ” The colors have what look to be a shimmer effect. You will definitely stand out at the beach or pool. But, with Cocksox isn’t that what you are supposed to do?

The Gala line is available in 4 new colors and 4 styles.  The colors are Lavish, Caribbean Bliss, Fiesta, and Platinum Red.  The Four styles are the CX02GL Brief, CX08GL Trunk, CX24GL Brazilian Brief, and the CX79GL Boy Leg Brief. I can’t recall Cocksox having the Brazilian brief in their line up before. If you aren’t familiar with the Brazilian cut, it’s a similar cut to the CX02 line but with a smaller back. Keep that in mind when shopping. Some guys don’t like the smaller back.

Here are some bullet points to keep in mind on the pair:

  • 89% PA 11% EA, Ultra light weight fabric 115 gsm
  • Fast drying
  • An ultra-light fabric with a shiny, iridescent effect, soft as a feather on the skin, it provides perfect fit and maximum comfort.
  • Highly breathable, protects from UV rays ( UPF 50+), is stain-resistant and quick-drying to leave the skin naturally fresh.
  • Fabric very delicate. Keep away from rough surfaces.

Notice the last bullet point. This means don’t sit on concrete by the pool. This is not uncommon for swimwear in general. I have had perfectly good swim ruined by sitting by on the concrete for multiple times. If you are going to wear this by a pool, keep this in mind.

To by the pairs go to the Cocksox Site:

This last week in the UNB Patreon Slack we had a talk about Gary Majdell Sport swimwear. A few of the the guys really sang the praises of the brand. So I decided to check out what was offered. Upon searching through the selection on Amazon, more on that in a few, I noticed a really good thong that I thought could be perfect for Swimwear Sunday.

Many of you guys want to try thongs and one major problem is that some of the swim thongs can be expensive. Why not one that ranges from $9 to $14? Also, if you have Amazon Prime you get FREE shipping. So, this is a win-win. The thong I chose is Mens Solid Contrast Stitch Thong Swimsuit Gary Majdell Sport. Talking to the guys and I found out the Gary Majdell is only on eBay and Amazon.

One of the big bonuses of this thong is that it’s available in 13 different colors. This means no matter what your favorite color is you can find it in this thong. The pricing is the second bonus. You can get some as low as $9.99 and the most expensive I saw was $13.99. Even at the high end, it’s an amazing deal. Very few pairs of swimwear cost this little.

The important info is:

  • 80% Nylon / 20% Spandex Shiny Tricot
  • Men’s new solid thong swimsuit Gary Majdell Sport
  • Y back that narrows to 1/2 an inch (1.5 cm).

It’s not a slim back but has a Y-Back. It’s wider at the top and will go down to half an inch. But I say it’s worth a try if you’re wanting to get an affordable swim thong. We hope you will check out this thong. We have used our Amazon Affiliate link for this pair. Buy one or buy a few at this price. Find this pair on Amazon.

Looking for something different for the beach? Why not try something metallic, such as the Tribe Ibiza swimwear. It’s a set of three metallic fabrics in a swim brief. When I first saw this pair in person it’s super sexy. You may be going, “WHOA, metallic isn’t that over the top?” This isn’t a silver or gold lame. It’s more of a brushed metallic over bright and shiny.

Why is this the Swimwear Sunday?

It’s different! Who wants to just wear a simple black brief to the beach and that’s it. You should have several pairs of swimwear each season. You need some classic and some super fun. If you get invited to a pool party, be the one standing out in gold or silver (Yes, they have black but not your typical black).

Tribe has been a band we have covered over the years. I remember one of our first swimwear guides they participated in, and they have grown over the years. Now they are getting back to basics but also trying some new things. I think they are one of the most underrated swimwear companies on the market right now. They currently have about 45 pairs of swimwear!

The Ibiza is just a lot of fun. The metallics are not one you would normally see in swimwear. It’s not over the top but more classic and fun. These are made to wear everyday wear to the beach. If you did a gold/silver lame it’s not about wearing often, it really doesn’t have stretch. We chose the low rise brief, but they have a boy brief (cut bigger) and a trunk. I think most UNB Guys will want the low rise.

The pair is made out of 100% polyester and lined in the front. It’s as they say on the website, designed to grab attention. This will get you plenty of attention. It’s available in black, gold and silver. We hope you will check Tribe out!

Thong swimwear is taking off big, well with UNB readers. More and more guys are wanting to wear them and it’s been leaning towards our straight readers. Yup, straight guys are the biggest proponent of swim thongs. We had a JOR swim thong, in our Swim Guide. This was the first time we ever had one. JOR has always made them and you need to check out all their pairs!

One more line from the extensive and very diverse men’s swimwear collection by Modus Vivendi has just been released! The line is called Melanze and comprises three styles in retro style cuts and three colours. Swim briefs, biker style swim shorts and a swim singlet come as a new take on some of the great swimwear styles of the past with a modern, Modus Vivendi, twist. The melange fabric used for this collection is of the highest quality, fast drying and stretchy.

The campaign for this line was photographed on the island of Santorini, Greece by fashion photographer Vangelis Kyris. The timeless beauty of the setting matches perfectly the classic designs of the new Melanze Line of swimwear by Modus Vivendi. Model Anatoli Georgiev is posing in various locations on the island for a campaign that we think is amazing!

White is one of those swimwear colors a lot of guys stay away from. Many of the white pairs become 100% see through when wet. This is a bonus for some readers, but for the most part, you guys don’t want to show off all your business. Some white pairs are designed this way and another are not. One pair that is designed to be worn without showing off all the goods is the Aronik Swim Exalted Bikini.

A lot of the pairs we have shown have been fuller swim briefs, that is to get new guys to try them. This is for those who are comfortable with the swim brief and want the smaller bikini cut. Aronik designs really great swimwear. They have some of the best prints on the market. We will definitely cover them soon, but I wanted to focus on a pair that is simple but classic and the Exalted Bikini. is just that, classic.

Now if you’re not a fan of the white, never fear this style comes in a variety of colors. So, you can find the color that best fits your skin tone. The design is pretty simple but sometimes simple is the best. There isn’t a center seam pouch it’s basic but they manage t create a nice pouch that will give you plenty of support. The fabric isn’t listed on their site but I would assume that it’s a nylon/spandex blend.

Speaking of design, as I mentioned above this should now show off everything you’re packing. Aronik is about style and making the wearer look and feel great. Know when you get out of the water you won’t see people staring because you are showing off all your business. If they are staring in this suit they are liking what they see.

The Aronik Swim Exalted Bikini is on the pricier side at $92. This segment is about exposing you guys to more that’s out there. Price isn’t the determining factor!
