This is a BTS shot from the UNB Holiday Guide. After we shot all the brands we always go back and do some fun shots in the underwear. This is Drew wearing Clever from the shoot. I don’t think many of these pics made it into the final pics. Underwear was furnished by Macondo Trading.

Bodysuits are growing in popularity in the world of men’s fetishwear. They can be worn under jeans out or under your work clothes (suit or uniform). One of the newest bodysuits on the market is the ManStore String Body. If you aren’t familiar with ManStore, and you love fetishwear, you need to learn about them quick. This bodysuit has a thong back. Which adds to the sexy appeal of the pair. We are seeing more and more body suits with thong backs. So thong fans rejoice! I think I like the thong back more than the full back. The full back has the potential of riding up or loosing its shape during the day.
So where would you wear this pair? First, I could this at a fetish bar night. Pair it with jeans and boots. Maybe some leather accessories. Next, Fetish wear is not just for the bedroom or bar. The white could be worn under a suit or work clothes. The only problem I see is going to the bathroom. It’s like wearing a singlet to work. There is no easy way to go. Let’s face it we have to be practical. I’m sure you guys could get super creative in where you wear it.

Timoteo has two new limited edition pairs just in time for the holidays. They are the Tartan Plaid Jock and Tartan Plaid Super Low Brief. Both are classic cuts from Timoteo. Add in some classic fabric of the Tartan and you have a winning combination.
I will say this combination initially surprised me from Timoteo. Not in a bad way but in a “I would have never thought of them using Tartan.” Once I see it I am in love with the pairs. The red Tartan is one of my favorites and the red with the black waistbands is very nice! I mean who mixes Tartan and black sports mesh! Timoteo that’s who! This is a TBT from 2012 Holiday Guide. It features Kyle in Croota shot by Seven Continents Photography. It was the first HUGE shoot we ever did for a guide. This shoot made me learn a lot in the whole scheme of things. First, over 50 pairs in one day is a no thanks! Second, locations are important and a small hotel room is not the place for that. Lastly, take breaks and have fun. This latest Holiday Guide was perfection in the way it was run. It was fast, fun and some great pics. We hope to grow every time!

I love this collection from Gregg Homme. It’s one of the biggest they have released in a while! This collection they have started to use leather. We profiled Real Leather line and now we bring you the Undo line. Undo is not 100% leather like the Real Leather line.
The name should give away the collection. “UNDO collection jock by Gregg Homme features a 100% leather italian center-seamed pouch that is detachable via metal snaps to enable easy access to your package!” Meaning you can detach the pouch and wear it for what ever activity you want! This featured the same leather as the Real Leather collection. So it will be super soft!
The collection has a boxer brief, jock, brief and thong. Each of these styles comes in two colors. a solid black and a red/black combination. This is one of their more popular pairs because most sizes are sold out except XS. This won’t be a pair for the holidays! Maybe you can get them for Valentine’s Day! The price ranges from $74.95 – 83.05. You may think the Boxer brief costs the most but you would be wrong. The jock is the most expensive pair in this line.
The Undo collection is one you could def wear on a date night. I would even go to say you could even wear it to work. As I have said many times Gregg Homme makes underwear that is sexy yet very functional. With the exception of a few pairs (like the harness) you can wear these for extended periods of time without them being restrictive or binding.

Tis the season of giving! One thing we here at UNB you guys should be doing is sharing the gift of underwear! We all know how amazing great underwear is, why not introduce our friends into the wonderful world of underwear. Its been shown by a few of our models that once they try underwear they get more. A few of our models we have used never wore designer underwear. After we work with them for a bit they say they have expanded their collection.
Regardless of your sexual orientation (yes we have straight guys who read us!) its time to break down the wall that says we can only give underwear to guys and have a romantic intention behind it. We can give guys any other clothing why not underwear? We believe that every guy deserves great underwear. Many of them out there would never give them a second thought unless they actually get to try a pair.
What do you give a guy who’s never worn designer underwear? We aren’t saying rush out and get them a jock or thong. But rather a great brief or boxer brief/trunk. Something not too flashy or crazy. Remember in this instance going classic is definitely called for! Then let them discover the journey on what they want to explore. (see a list below of great “starter” brands of underwear)
What do you give someone who loves underwear? We hope you know a little about what they have in their collection. If you can find a brand they don’t own and get them to try it out. If they have a favorite brand make sure they don’t buy every pair they make. Examples of what you could buy are new fabrics, fun prints, new brands or new styles. You can have a bit more fun picking out a pair for these friends.
What do you give someone who buys underwear a few times a week? Yes we have readers who buy multiple pairs of underwear a week. These power buyers will be hard to buy for because they may already have what you bought them. I am not a fan of Gift Cards but this maybe a time to give them one. You can give them one to a brand or store. Let them pick out what they want for that week.
I think as a group we need to be more open about underwear with our friends. We all want to feel amazing through the day and nothing does that the way underwear does. If you meet resistance just say “I thought you should try something new. I love this brand and think you will too.” Let’s spread some holiday joy by introducing a friend into the wonderful world of underwear!
