You guys said you wanted to see real guys! This is Blake, he sent his pic in to be featured as one of our real guys! Here is a little about him: I have been an underwear lover for over 25 years.  Started back when I was about 10 years old.  Trying on that first bikini got me hooked.  Now years later I have a collection of over 1000 pairs.  Styles ranging from thongs to bikinis to jocks to boxers.  My favorite has to be bikinis and thongs

If you want to be featured here email us a pic or two and a little about you and what undies you love!

4Two of our favorites has teamed up! Amazing photographer has brought back one of his models Alex for a second shoot featuring Wood Underwear. Wood is an awesome company out of LA that makes great quality underwear!

Stan-Wawrinka-DHEDRAL-30.06.15The temperature on Wimbledon’s Centre Court may be hitting over 100F/40c today but it’s also getting hot off-court as Stan Wawrinka is revealed as one of the sports stars to pose fully nude in ESPN’s Body Issue!

Later this month the Swiss tennis ace will also be shooting an underwear campaign for Italian brand D.HEDRAL, celebrating his strength and masculinity. The campaign will launch in September to coincide with the US Tennis Open.
Tennis rivalry also head off-court as Stan will be going head-to-head against Rafael Nadal who will be fronting the underwear campaign for Tommy Hilfiger!

tailored_harness_site4Harnesses are BIG right now. In the world of fetishwear harnesses are the new singlet. Just about every company has one these days. In the years gone by the harness was a piece of clothing you would just find at a leather bar or S&M club. The only other place you would find them worn would be at Pride celebrations around the country.

Now they are going mainstream. Its not uncommon to see them on the net and in stores. What is making this happen? I think its guys want to have fun and wear something to show off in. I could be wrong but I think we will see a lot more harnesses going forward.

Now onto Fetish Friday! When I was thinking who we should pic to feature a harness, Slick It Up was the first company that came to mind. They make amazing fetishwear in spandex and other fun, tight materials. After looking through their site the Tailored Harness and Perfect Jock were for a lack of better word, perfect!

The Tailored Harness is not an over the shoulder harness you are familiar with. Most go like an X across the chest or on the upper chest and arms. This harness is tailored like mens clothing so it will accent the body. The design minimizes the waist and brings attention to the parts of the body you want to show off. That means it is the traditional harness on the chest but goes down to your mid thigh. The Tailored Harness retails for $84.

The Perfect Jock is paired with the Tailored Harness. It doesn’t have to be worn with it, but does make a nice combination.  The three panel design of the jock has the look of leather. However, its not leather but a spandex material made to look like leather. If you have ever worn a leather jock you know it can be very hot after a while. This will give you the look of leather with the wearability and ease of care of spandex. That means it can wear it under anything! The Perfect Jock retails for $38.

Find both of these pairs on the Slick It Up website.

Flag inspired underwear and swimwear have been around for a long time. I remember in the 90’s Tommy Hilfiger created Flag Boxers. This year we have a few pairs for you to show your patriotism. They come from a variety of brands and range from underwear to swimwear! Here are a few pairs to check out

99154(2)Candyman Thong 99154 Patriotic Thong – Not every pair of flag inspired is a brief. We couldn’t leave out the thong lovers from this list. Unknown-26Neptio Flag Brief – Not every pair has to be a literal flag, some have a unique take on the design. The Neptio Flag brief has a solid front of stars on a blue background and red/white stripes in the back. Top that with a solid white waistband this makes it one for the list. You can find this pair at ABC Underwear for $28.

Justice BriefPistol Pete Justice Brief – We have profile this pair before but think it deserves another look! The flag print on this pair is one you can get your friends to salute too! Its a little brighter and a print that looks a little worn. Made in a full swim brief you can celebrate with out showing too much off! Available at the Pistol Pete website for $48.50

CRC-S207200-1_4CA-RIO-CA Team USA Classic – This is a great pair featuring the Flag on the front and a solid red in the back with USA across the back. OCocksox Thongur very own Brandon has said that all guys need to wear a thong. He believes that there is a stigma on them and if more guys wore them they would see how comfortable thongs really are! Much like Jockstrap Wednesday, Thong Thursday is another celebration of a great style of underwear, usually on Twitter, but it can be on Facebook and Instagram.

We wanted to share a great thong for this Thong Thursday. I researched quite a few different ones but none seemed right. Some were too fetish related, others were interesting and the last were ones I don’t think our readers would like. I sat down and thought of the thongs I like to wear. Going through my underwear collection in my mind I remembered the Cocksox Thong. The CX05 Thong to be exact.

I have a few of CX05. They are one of my favorites because it is a comfortable thong with the amazing Cocksox pouch. So you get both worlds in one! You show off the front and the back at the same time! The other thing I like about the Cocksox thong is the colors they have in the current line up. They have 7 different colors; Purple Funk, Melon, Azure Blue, Emerald Green, Aqua Splash, Carbon Black and Quartz White. Its a safe bet that you will find your favorite color.

The last reason is the way Cocksox holds up. I have had several pairs for a few years. The first pair I ever received back in 2007 is still in my collection. It’s the CX01 in white! Many of the other pairs are still in great shape and in active rotation, this includes the first thong I ever bought. It was the Black CX05!

Find all the colors of the CX05 Thong at the Cocksox website for $25.00.

16304_extra01_superI am a huge fan of the classic Bike #10 jockstrap. It’s a classic that has been around for years. However, the bike company is slowly stop making them. Each year they get harder and harder to find. The new ones just aren’t the same as the classic ones. Don’t get me wrong I love the new fashion jocks. They are made out of great material and colors, but I still have a love for the old school.

So what are we to do now that that classic jock is being put out to the underwear pasture? Well one great alternative is the Flarico Athletic supporter. What is the Flarico Jock? Glad you asked, Flarico also came out with their own jock back in the day and “Flarico deserves the classic title as well. Just a few years after Bike created their number ten in the late 1890s, the John B. Flaherty Company came out with their 110. Although the company name is changed, this is still the same jock being produced today.” This is from the Jockstrap Central Website. Below is the description.

“This Flarico jockstrap has a full 6 1/2 inch width shrink resistant knitted pouch with 3/4 inch leg straps and 2 3/4 inch heat resistant surgical elastic. Flarico has recently changed from a waistband with a few small horizontal stripes running through it to this new one which is clean and pristine with no detailing.’  I will say I like the clean look but I kind of miss the stripes in the band. It’s clean and classic for those who love a jock that takes you back to the 80’s or earlier.

Outside of the design the price of this jock is AWESOME. It’s only $8.95. How many pairs these days can you say is under $10? Not many, the average pair for most guys is around $15 but can go as high as $30.  The Flarico Jock is so reasonable you could pic up a few!

Jockstrap Wednesday is all about having fun and trying new things. Why not try a true classic jock for next week’s Jockstrap Wednesday! Find the Flarico Athletic Supporter at Jockstrap Central!  NOTE Post contains an affiliate sales link.

IMG_9281We are still tabulating the UNB Reader survey and are finding out some great things! This time we found out what you guys hate about underwear! There are quite a few things you guys can’t stand when picking new underwear. Some of them I figured we would have and others out there like some specific things! There is no right or wrong. Here are the top things you guys hate about underwear. These are in reverse order:

Construction Issues – You guys hate when a pair of underwear isn’t made well or hold up. This includes leg openings being too tight, waistbands that roll, and seams issues. You guys want a pair that is well made that hold up to many washings and keep their shape.

Design Issues – Design is the one thing that sets underwear companies apart. One of the design issues that struck me was a guy commented on how he hates thongs with a strap too big in the back! I couldn’t agree more. Other issues you guys hate are using too much material and having the pair bunch up, too high or too low waist and lastly cut outs! Cut out is a trend that many of you don’t like!

Labels/Tags – This one I figured would be up there. Its also pretty simple that tags in the wrong place, scratchy or annoying tags. I think designers are getting better on this but there are still many complaints. Nothing can ruin a pair of underwear more than a bad tag! It will take all the attention away from the good and just focus on the bad!

Bad Materials – Bad Fabric! This was up there in the list! This includes itchy, non breathable and not able to keep its shape. We all have different functions for our underwear. Its important to wear a pair that is prefect for that activity. Fabric is one of my top criteria for underwear. We must be comfortable in what we buy or we should just go back to buying 6 pairs at a big box store!

Pouch Issues – This one totally surprised me. And before you go its the guys who need a big pouch, it was also guys who hate a too big of a pouch. It was a good mix of guys who need room and those who don’t. There were a good number who wanted a pair with great support. But the ones that surprised me most were “floppy pouches” haters. To me a pouch can make or break  pair. It can meet everything else but be too tight or no support and I can’t wear it. You guys feel the same regardless of your size in the pouch!

Sizing – This should be no surprise for anyone. Sizing was hands down the number 1 thing you guys hate the most. The vast majority of you complained about the lack of standard in sizing. How one brand you are a small and a another you are a medium. Many asked why there can’t be standard sizing of underwear. Which is hard to do because different parts of the world, people are made different. But this is not a world issue there are companies based in the US that have crazy sizes. Make sure you always check sizing charts but that is another complaint as well, sizing charts that don’t reflect real sizes!

These are just a few of the issues you guys have. I would love to hear more of what you guys hate in underwear. Leave a comment or Tweet us!

manstore zipper collectionIts Fetish Friday! Its that day when we bring you a great pair of fetishwear! This week we chose a pair from the Man Store. If you aren’t familiar with the Man Store they are basically like a big candy store for lovers of erotic/fetishwear. They aren’t too well known in the US. Occasionally you will see something but for the most part many out there may not have heard of it before!

The Zippered is one that has the look of latex. If you are familiar with latex it’s a material that is not the easiest to care for or the cheapest. It takes a lot of special care for latex clothing. This pair has the look of latex but actually made out of micro fiber. Meaning it will be easier to care for and maintain. There is nothing worse than spending big money on a pair of gear only to have issues with it later!

The two of the M314 line is a thong and a brief. The matte finish to the fabric makes this super sexy. It’s a very cool fabric that I like a lot. The pairs also have a grey trim that sets off the two very nicely. It’s not over the top or detracts from the fetish look. Speaking of fetish look each pair has a zipper. One interesting thing about this line is the zipper can be unzipped from either end! Talk about fun.

Many out there may think that zippers and underwear shouldn’t go together! We don’t think so, there are many pairs that the zipper makes them super hot! The Man Store loves to make sexy yet masculine fetish wear that are made to have fun in!

The Zippered Thong is 17.95 Euros and the Zippered Brief is 27.95 Euros. Each can be found at the Man Store website!

Devious Trunk 1

Pistol Pete is one of those brands we don’t cover enough on the blog. We have a long history with the brand going back to 2010! That was the first time I went to Vegas and met with them! They have a very unique stile of doing underwear and swimwear. Now the new line has been out and we are going to show you some of the great pairs they have to offer!

One of the newest is the Devious Trunk. It’s a fun design with I know w few readers favorite number on it, 69. The trunk it self looks just like a regular trunk, so what makes it devious? Well other than the obvious 69, the trunk is made out of a mesh. Not a totally see through mesh but one that you can barely tell it’s mesh. This is what makes it devious and fun.

The Devious line comes in four different colors. They are Navy, black, white and red. Each has the 69 on the left hip and a contrasting trim. Top that off with the signature Pistol Pete waistband, it really brings together a fun pair. The line also comes in a brief and a jock

The Devious trunk is available at the Pistol Pete site for $29.00

UNB Model Profile featuring Bruin Collinsworth

image

I had the privilege of connecting with Bruin on Twitter after seeing some of his work through some photographers we know.  With that face and that body, who could resist the chance to profile him.  Bruin talked to UNB about his Nasty Pig beginning, the fun he has had in front of the camera, and the modeling gene in his blood.

UNB Kyle:  Thank you for taking the time to share some of your career with us.  What was your first modeling gig and how did you come to get it?

Bruin:  My first legitimate gig was shooting for Nasty Pig Spring 2014. Earlier that year I went to MAL and visited the NP booth and told a random guy who was working for them how much I loved their jocks. Low and behold the person I told this to was David Lauterstein and he asked if I modeled.  At the time, all of my gigs were so small I usually got paid in the underwear or all I got out of them was the photos for me to use in my portfolio. I told him yes and we kept in contact until Easter weekend.  I was planning a trip to NYC with friends at which point I told David that I was visiting and we planned our shoot.

Kyle:  A great start for what was just a simple fan interaction at the time.  What made you want to pursue modeling?image

Bruin:  My grandmother was a model and I always thought she was so glamorous that I wanted to do it. I’m also a performer at heart and that’s why I enjoy doing runway work so much because its like a performance.

Kyle:  So modeling was definitely in your blood.  Which shoot do you consider your breakthrough in your career?

Bruin:  Without a doubt it was the Nasty Pig shoot. After those photos were released I would go places and get recognized. to say I felt famous was an understatement. They were picked up by Out.com and it really took off. It was because of that shoot that I moved to NYC last summer to really pursue modeling.

Kyle:  Great first story which ended up being your breakthrough!  Does any shoot stand out as a favorite?

Bruin:  At the end of my summer in NYC I got the opportunity to work with Marco Ovando just as a portfolio builder but I had been wanting to shoot with him for so long that there was a lot of build up it. It was everything that I expected and the shots turned out so well. I ended up using them for most of my portfolio.

imageKyle:  That is where I first saw your pic and it was beautiful!  Any difficult shoots that you have had?

Bruin:  In Chicago I worked with Colin Davis for one of his still life shots in which I was a table with a table top sat on my back with multiple things on it. Fortunately there was a support table under me but I was basicly sandwiched between these 2 things and had stay there for a long periods of time while they staged the photo. I’m a tough guy but that was rough. The shot tuned out great and at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about.

Kyle:  I can imagine something that seems so simple to an amateur can end up being so demanding and difficult.  Are there any brands or photographers you would like to work with that you have not worked with yet

Bruin:  Because of how well the shoot went with Marco I would love the chance to work with him again and shoot for Slick It Up. Rick Day was another photographer in NYC that I wish I would have gotten a chance to work with. His work always looks so polished.

Kyle:  I am sure your phone will be ringing with the chances.  What is something that your fans don’t know about you outside of modeling that you want them to know?

Bruin:  I love to learn new things. I watch the History Channel and play games like Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit because I learn some of the most random facts and it really changes me mentally.

Kyle:  You enjoy exercising your mind.  Your body looks great too.  What kind of diet and exercise do you do to prepare for shoots?  And how about when you sneak in a cheat meal?

Bruin:  My diet really never changes for a shoot. I always tend to eat well. Every night for dinner its some sort of protein (steak, flsh, chicken) with light seasoning and roasted vegetables, usually green beans or diced peppers. The exercises vary depending on what type of shoot I’m doing. If its underwear I’m going to work on getting my butt a little bigger and my core a little tighter but if its more clothing then I’m going to work more upper body to get the shirt fitting a little more fitted.

There is nothing better after eating well all week than a huge Chicago style deep dish pizza! It has so much cheese and meat that after a couple slicesI  have to call it quits and save the rest for lunch.

Kyle:  Good routines.  They work for you as we enjoy the butt and underwear shoots!  Speaking of underwear, what do you prefer? % boxer briefs, % briefs, % jocks, % thongs.

Bruin:  I’m not sure on specific percentages but the majority of my underwear collection is briefs with jockstraps as a close second. I have boxer briefs and thongs too.  On a day to day basis I don’t wear them nearly as much as briefs or jockstraps.

Kyle:  I appreciate a man who isn’t afraid to own some thongs!  And now, the craziest pair of underwear you have ever worn?image

Bruin:  For a runway show I wore a pair of black mesh briefs so it left very little to the imagination. They are extremely hot but I have to be strategic about where I can wear them.

Kyle:  Keep those for special viewing only I’m sure.  You sometimes have to put a lot out there on these shoots.  Stuff happens sometimes though I’m sure.  So, most embarrassing photo shoot situation?

Bruin:  This didn’t happen on the photo shoot but during shoots I try to be very professional but on my Nasty Pig shoot I was wearing these shorts that were pretty tight so tight that when I moved around things started to rub and the resulting photo had a pronounced bulge in the crotch area. I didn’t even notice it until multiple people including my mother noticed.

Kyle:  Nice dinner conversation I can imagine.  Besides what your mother will say, what goes through your mind right before you have to do these revealing shoots?

Bruin:  As soon as I get booked for a shoot I put together a playlist of music that I think fits the theme of whatever shoot I’m going to be doing. I listen to it on repeat until the day of the shoot. It gets me in a head space that I need to really perform well on the set. It also keeps my mind off the fact that I’m almost naked and keeps me calm. I tend to get myself over worked for shoots and that helps.

Kyle:  Music is a powerful tool. I love that though.  What are your goals for your career?

Bruin:  As much as I want to be the next big male underwear model,m I’m happy just having a steady stream of work coming in. Its not my main job so I’m not financially reliant on booking shoots every day but if I can make money and get my name out there I’ll be happy at the end of the day.

Kyle:  Well I hope big things continue to happen for you.  Finally, we have a lot of aspiring models that look to those like you for advice.  What is the best advice anyone gave you when you started your modeling career?

Bruin:  One of the first photographers told me to have fun with my shoots. He said if I’m not having fun then whats the point of it. Ever sense then I’ve always found the fun in the shoots that I get booked for.

KIKITHONGPINK

Today is a day to have some fun with your underwear. Either share your love of thongs or give them a try! Kick Sagat is a brand we haven’t covered in a while and I thought we needed to change that. The brand has been creating some super fun designs. That includes prints, new takes on styles and the use of great colors!

Since today you need to wear a thong the Push-Up thong from them seemed like a great choice! The color we chose was pink. You maybe asking why we chose this color? Well pink is still one of the hot colors for men’s underwear. So many guys, myself included, just love pink undies.

One reason I chose this is the pouch. So many of you out there really request a good pouch in your underwear. This pair has a very defined pouch that does what the name implies, push-up! It looks like a great pouch and the pair overall is just fun.

The pink is not the full color. The trim and waistband are pink and the body of the pair is white. So it’s just enough pink to show off. The fabric is a 95% COTTON 5% ELASTANE mix. The only thing that you need to know is the sizing. An XL is a 34-36 inches. This means it will run smaller than traditional sizing. The good thing is the sizing chart is front and center on the product page.

You can find this pair on the Kick Sagat site for $27.00

fullsize_1411729346_body_1024x1024I’m back with the second review I am doing for Kikini. I am really enjoying rediscovering this brand. The first pair I reviewed, the Croft Micro Brief, were amazing so I definitely had high hopes for the Imola Brief.

The Imola brief is more of a brief cut than a bikini. It is made out of the same material the Croft is made out of, but had a traditional waistband. Again when I held it up I was a little worried about the size. More on that in a bit later in the reivew. The designs that Kiniki has for their underwear are awesome. They are super fun and not prints I have seen in the world of underwear that often! So massive points scored for that!

I wore the pair on an average day, but I had planned on wearing to a party one night but I couldn’t wait to try it out! The first thing I noticed was the waist band was a little tight. Not binding tight but still noticeable when I put it on. As the day progressed I really didn’t notice it. The fabric like the Croft brief felt awesome. I love the fabric of the pair. The Poly Lycra fabric is becoming one of my favorites!

Kikini says this about the pair: “The Kiniki brief features an integrated front panel for optimum support & tailored comfort while the waist is completed with a new, wider, signature Kiniki waistband made from a shimmering elastic weave making for an extra comfortable waistband that reduces pressure on the skin and looks distinctive in it’s high quality finish.”

I mentioned above the print. This print is called HD print. It is designed exclusively by Kikini and you won’t find it anywhere else. I don’t think it is, but this pair reminds me of a snake print. Their other prints are just as amazing. If you are not a print fan, I suggest you stay away, if you are go now and buy!

The sizing was a little tighter than the previous pair. The bikini (micro brief) fit great. The waistband was a bit tighter than I would like. Like I mentioned above the pair didn’t bind or constrict me. But there were a few times I could tell it was a little tight. It detracted some but not a great deal from this site.

Pros:

  • Amazing Prints
  • Great fabric that feels amazing
  • Traditional brief design

Cons;

  • Sizing was a bit smaller
  • Not for those guys who don’t like prints

Ratings:

  • Daily Fit – 9
  • Sizing – 8
  • Construction – 9
  • Styling – 10
  • Daily Performance 9
  • Overall – 9
