Men’s Underwear

Spewer always has a fun take on the world of men’s underwear. The new SupaNova continues that fine tradition. The newest collection is a super hero inspired collection. Available in a brief, jock, leggings and trunk. As you can see above the color combinations really make this line!

There are three color combinations in this collection. They are Daylight, Galactic and Hazard. Daylight is the aqua with yellow trim. The Galatic (and my favorite) is the blue with red trim. Lastly the Hazard is the yellow with black trim. All super fun.

The waistband has the SupaWear band with the super hero inspired logo. You can feel SUPA in this pair of underwear no matter which style you choose! I love this band just for this logo design. This band is truly for a waistband lover! Because there will be no way to hide this pair!

The leggings are a new design they have for this year. The leggings in my opinion are a welcome addition to the SupaWear line up. Its great to have a new company making stylish leggings! It maybe too hot in the states for them but I say get a pair and save them for later!

Find the new SupaWear collection at the SupaWear site! Below are pictures of all the new pairs!

jsc-nasty-pig-knockout-1Nasty Pig’s “Knockout Brief” recently returned to market after being out of production for many years. The fabric, composed of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, offers a conforming fit with enough flexibility and movement to remain comfortable throughout your day.

Compared with other high-end briefs, Nasty Pig’s creation fits nicely within its market niche. The leg gatherings are stitched well. The colorful 1.5 inch waistband boldly identifies the brand in front, but the moniker is not repeated (which is a subtle detail indicative of extra care in the design). The pouch is not as initially generous as those found in N2NBodywear or Andrew Christian Products, but the cotton-spandex fabric provides sufficient stretch that wearing remains quite comfortable throughout a long day.

Speaking of wear, I’ve personally worn this brief three different times. Each time the backside stayed where it was supposed to stay. I never felt the need to adjust after sitting, standing, climbing stairs, or walking the dog. The fabric does an excellent job of wicking sweat away from the body. The light, primary coloring adds a degree of levity, but the “Nasty Pig” waistband lets whomever sees know that your sense of frivolity also has a sexy, dark side.

This brief retails for $29.00 at www.jockstrapcentral.com and other locations. I purchased mine during a recent sale. The size large perfectly fit my 33-inch waist. The brief’s cut is more conservative than what I would typically wear when I’m not at work, and that subjective factor constitutes my only criticism of the garment. It is, by my account, excellent value for your money.

Review Summary:

  • Daily Fit:     10+
  • Sizing:         10
  • Material:      10
  • Styling:        8 (subjective)
  • Daily Wear:  10
  • Overall:     9.67

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the old adage: “it’s too good to be true”. It’s been applied to a myriad situations and circumstances, but usually refers to some kind of assessment of a potentially spectacular payoff for a very minimal price. This was what I was faced with when I ordered the David Archy Men’s 4 pack Micromodal Air Sexy bikini briefs from Amazon.com

So the choice presented to me was as follows: the bikini briefs are described as manufactured of “90% Austria Lenzing MicroModal Air/10% Japanese ROICA spandex”. I have no idea what those fabrics are, nor had I ever heard of the brand. Stating that a garment is made out of European and Japanese fabrics was enough to pique my interest. According to Amazon, I get four pairs for the rather low price of $19.99. So this is where the quandary originated: an unknown company offering what seemed like top notch garments in nice fabrics at a low price. Everyone say it with me, “sounds too good to be true.”

DA1

As I mentioned, these bikinis were ordered from Amazon the same time that I ordered some other garments. Including my previously reviewed pair of CR7 briefs. I know that there are a lot of foreign sellers on Amazon, and the site serves as sort of a middleman for goods coming from all around the world. I’m typically skeptical if I think that I have to process a transaction with a company that comes from a country where there is a lack of transparency or if that country is known for fraudulent activity. But because I conducted the transaction through Amazon, I did feel confident enough to process the transaction knowing that I had some recourse available to me through the company.

The bikini briefs were one of the first things that were delivered to me, out of all the orders that I made that day, which impressed the heck out of me. It beat other American based resellers. I should also mention that it was also available in other solid colors like light blue, royal blue,

It was packaged in a nice, plain box (1) that had just enough graphics to suggest that someone spent a hot second on graphic design. This kind of thoughtfulness, from beginning to end, connects me to a brand in a way that makes me think I am getting value for my dollar and that the brand isn’t some kind of fly by night or counterfeiting operation.

Upon unboxing I immediately noticed the silky feel of the garment. I couldn’t verify if what I was feeling was Austrian micromodal, but it did feel very soft and light weight. It essentially was a plain red bikini with little touches that differentiated it from, say, an old school Jockey Elance brief.

There’s a little bit of contrast stitching (2) near the waist of the garment and a suggestion (3) of an anatomical pouch that seemed more appropriate for the modestly endowed gentleman. While skimpy in the front, with 1.25” sides (4), the back had pretty full coverage for those of you with concerns of the back creeping into a less then desirable place.

I actually put it through double the amount of wear I would usually put a pair of undies through. I wore it all day to work and then on a run. For the former activity, there were no problems whatsoever. The bikini actually seemed to disappear. The latter, however, was somewhat more problematic. The anatomical pouch of the bikini made everything want to move front and center, and created a noticeable bulge in my running shorts. I was just “eh” about it, but for those of you concerned with that kind of thing, you have now been warned.

All in all, I strongly recommend the David Archy bikini. It is a solidly constructed garment, in some nice colors, that stood up well to both every day wear and athletic use. And at $5 a pop, it might just be too good to be true.

THE JACK Blue 2

We are going to start profiling awesome undies we think you guys should know. So a few times a week you may see some fun undies you may not have seen before or a brand you know that is doing something fun. The newest brand we are loving at UNB is wearMEunder. They are a mix of sex appeal and comfort!

wearMEunder has a great philosophy for underwear:

“we believe underwear and swimwear is just an extension of you, therefore they feel like you are wearing nothing but you whilst still providing all the comfort and functionality that underwear is supposed to. That is why we call them SKIN (collection)!

wearMEunder products have been especially woven to provide breath-ability even during times of friction and body heat rise, from day to day wear to physical exercise. Seams and stitching have been placed not just to build the product but to accentuate features, provide comfort and support.

The pair we are featuring is THE JACK. The Jack is a low cut contrast brief. Its more of a trunk from my opinion. It’s sexy without being too over the top. It has a traditional feel with the piping and fly on the front pouch. The pouch looks like it’s made to give you ample support even for the guys who need extra room up front. But unlike traditional underwear its made out of a Polyamide/Spandex blend that will fit you amazingly.

The waistband sets off the pair. It’s a simple white band that has a wearMEunder logo on the left hip. Its a little bigger  compared to the rest of the pair but still makes it sexy. It kind of fits in with the pair the smaller low cut with the bigger band works for me!

I hope you will check out this pair at the wearMEunder site. It retails for £26.

CORPJOCK-jock-IMG_4793-UNB1AWe love bringing you guys new models and photogs. Especially up and coming models and real guys in underwear. We have teamed up with Corp Jock to showcase some of their pics and new guys. This is first one. Here is a bit about the shoot:

Part of the creative aspect of my work is that I showcase the athlete that resides within. The guy you’re seated next to a white collar board meeting could be sporting a jockstrap under those pinstripes. Might that possibility make the agenda more interesting?

These images are from a photo shoot done with a young executive who wanted to showcase his athletic physique – the one he needed to keep under the wraps of his business suit for his Fortune 500 investment firm.

It’s pretty obvious why he wanted to document his efforts to keep in shape, so I suggested that we play off his being in a business suit, slowly removing it to reveal a jockstrap underneath.

He admitted to me that he didn’t own a jockstrap. In fact, he had never put one on before. It was pretty hard to imagine that nowhere in his schooling did he ever have a phys ed teacher who insisted that he wear a jockstrap to class. But in any case, we selected from a few I keep on hand for shoots and he was especially interested in the one that allowed for a protective cup to be inserted.

This new experience afforded us a much more creative and interesting shoot than I had originally anticipated. Here are a few of the images that we can share online.

The one thing about Candyman that has made it super fun are the costumes. I remember back in about 2010/2011 when they first came on the scene the Cowboy costume was one of their best sellers. It was a cross between underwear and fun wear! It also made the rounds on the Halloween circuit. For that matter many of the Candyman Costumes have been worn to adult parties and bars every Halloween.

Over the last few collections they didn’t update the costumes too much. They had a few new ones but this year they have added Six new costumes. Some are tame and others are dare as you bare! Here are the new costumes.

99108(1)99108 Sailor Costume Outfit – $32.48

99149(2)99149 Mechanic Outfit – $39.48

99150(2)99150 Mechanic Outfit – $37.48

99151(1)99151 School Boy Outfit – $30.48

Nasty Pig is known for their super hot fetishwear. Many of our readers have quite a few pairs from them and enjoy them. I have seen a lot of pics out there of you guys in it! Now they have released the the Laser line. Which as you can tell by he pic you can make it match some fetish wear or wear it as regular underwear.

“In keeping with our Spring 2015 Altered States collection, we wanted to present a new spin on our name. We honed in on this digital font and created a futuristic jock in two great colors.” The pairs just come in blue and black. The black has a green waistband and the blue has a matching band. The font they mention above is a lot of fun. Those who know of the brand will get it but those who don’t may just think it’s a funky design.

The Laser is in two styles, a brief and a jock. What would Nasty Pig be without a jock. The brief is a little more traditional in its cut and sign. But still super sexy. I would say the black would be more easy to match in fetishwear over the blue. However, that said we have some super creative readers.

If you love these go to the Nasty Pig site to pick them up. The jock and brief both retail for $29 each.

Summer is here and have you already bought your swimwear? If not and are extremely bold maybe you should check to the new LA Blazer G. Which is a swim thong N2N Bodywear released in their 2015 collection! Swim thongs are slowly making in roads to the US. I have seen more in the last two years than in the last seven!

There are some things you need to know about this pair. First thing is and this is a big DUH, it’s a thong cut. So there is no back to this suit. See the picture above. If you plan to wear this in public make sure you check local laws and regulations. Not everywhere is super thong friendly.

Next the pair a built in C-Strap. Meaning you will be showing off everything you have. It will push your business up and out! So don’t be surprised that you get looks and stares and not just from the back! This pair is made for the guy who wants to show off big time.

Lastly is this pair has a built in draw cord. So you won’t have to work about this falling off while being active in it. Most of the swim thongs I have seen don’t have this feature. So for some of you this maybe a plus and others it maybe a minus.

The colors available are Charcoal/Orange, White/Royal and Black/Red. The second color is the pouch color and the first color is the body color. This pair retails on the N2N Bodywear site for $42

collection-pop-stripes-2015060201

The Pop Stripes collection is a staple of the C-IN2 collection. A few times a year they update the colors. This time they have updated the colors to include Clean Quartz and Lord Blue. The first thing you notice is they have interesting names for most of their colors.

They Clean Quartz (below) is a grey stripe. It has different shades of grey and also a black stripe. It’s a little muted in the color palate but still very fun. While not or everyone I think stripe fans will love this combo. It’s a more conservative color combo than they usually do. It is topped off with a black signature waistband.

The Lord Blue is the one pictured above. It has a blue stripe focusing mainly on different shades of blue but the white stripe makes it pop. I really like this one because it’s very clean and masculine. I bet we will find this in many of our readers drawers.

The two colors are available in the Profile Brief, Lo No Show Brief, Lo No Show Army Trunk and the Jock. You can find all these at the C-IN2 website.

When I fist started UNB, I wouldn’t have ever thought about wearing an animal print pair of undies. I never liked them. But as the years went on they grew on me and I started to wear them. There is one animal print that is now one of my all time favorites! Flash forward a few years and Andrew Christian has released the new Animal Brief with Show-it Technology.

The brief is super fun. It has a cheetah print that and the matching AC waistband in black makes this super sexy to me. It just pops. I could see many of your readers wearing this under a black power suit or a date night out! Here is what AC says about the pair:

“In our Limited Edition Cheetah print fabric, this modern take on a classic brief will make you roar. Just as comfy as all of your favorite Andrew Christian underwear, this stunning new style is only for you… the extra sexy. It features sleek black contrast trim around the pouch and legs, and stitching down the front for extra attention to that package. It also features our revolutionary Show-It Technology – a hidden “comfy cup” that gently lifts and provides excellent frontal support and enhancement.”

The pair is a limited edition pair and retails for $26. Find the Animal Brief at the Andrew Christian Website.

IMG_6689AMU maybe a company you aren’t familiar with int the big world of underwear! They have been around a few years and we have covered them a few times on the blog. On Twitter this week they posted the pics of this new pair and I knew I had to share it with you guys. I thought it’s a super hot pair. That pair is the AMU Bikini Nylon and Mesh briefs. Here is what they told us about the pair:

AMU Bikini nylon and mesh briefs are sure to make a sexy addition to your underwear drawer, ideal for everyday use, if you’re feeling a little daring at the gym or for a certain someone at home! Available in red,White and Black.

Our Bikini style brief has  a thin AlphaMaleUndies waist band. The fron of the Undies are made with a silky soft Nylon and the bum of the undies are made with a thin mesh material.

The one thing is about these that I find so hot is the cut. It’s a brief that is a smaller cut. The pouch is the solid nylon material. This won’t let you show off too much but the back is entirely out of mesh. I love the small waistband as well. It just is super hot to me !

You can find these at the AMU website and they retail for 29 Euros. They are also available in White, Red and Black. Get one or get them all!

Unknown-11Before I start this review that was furnished by BearSkn. I have to tell you a bit about BearSkn. They are an underwear company made for all men. Meaning size is not an issue. They have sizes from small to 6XL. You heard me right 6XL. So no matter your size you will find some undies you will like.

I’m a bigger guy. I have about a 40 waist back up from 36 over a year ago. I want to get back down but finding undies to fit is not always easy. Many brands don’t go above 38 and some just up to 36 inches. Its frustrating to see great undies I can’t wear. But I digress!

The brief looks like like a brief. To me it seemed a little boring in the design department when I saw it in pictures. It was a “yeah it’s a brief nothing special.” The fabric looked like cotton and maybe a blend, it didn’t catch me. BearSkn sent me a few briefs to try, I was giving it the good ole UNB try.

The first thing I noticed was the fabric. All my preconcived ideas of hte pair were blown away. The fabric was not stiff but super soft. I had to do a double take on the fabric. It was pretty awesome. The fabric is 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane, Mesh: 95% Polyester. The mesh is at the bottom of the pair to allow extra air flow, which is awesome! It all goes back to what we have been told. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. And I won’t be doing that again with BearSkn.

I wore this pair on a night out for a friends birthday. It felt great under my jeans. The mesh panel came in handy because it was a hot almost summer night in ATL and the restaurant didn’t have the air on. It was horrible to be in 80+ degree heat with humidity. So the mesh made me feel comfy, well as I could for

The sizing of the pair is amazing. I got an XL and it fit me very well. You def will need to look at their sizing chart if you go into the larger sizes. But it should be pretty standard sizing from Small through XL.

Pros:

  • Amazing super soft pattern
  • Mesh Panel to allow air flow
  • Sizing is great

Cons:

  • It may not be super sexy for some guys (but it’s comfy as hell).
  • Simple waistband (I’m a waistband guy would love to see some BearSkn logo or soemthing in the band)

Ratings:

  • Daily Fit – 9
  • Sizing – 9
  • Materials – 10
  • Styling – 8
  • Daily Performance – 9
  • Overall – 9

This pair was furnished for review by BearSkn. The brief retails for $20 and available in 5 colors.
