Today you can get some great underwear for a great price. Every Tuesday Baskit has $12 Tuesday. A certain pair is on sale for just $12 all day. A new brand contacted us this past week. It’s called 1st Man Underwear. They out of the UK and seem pretty interesting. So we are going to tell you a little about them and give you a discount code to try them out.
“1ST Man is the 1st Collection of Men’s underwear for the Brand behind Louise Ferdinand Lingerie. It is based on the theme of the 1st Man on earth Adam from the Biblical story of ‘Adam and Eve’. The design ethos is classic and simple with combined with a sporty and vintage theme. All of the fabrics and trims are British sourced and are made to high standards by European ateliers. The boxers and briefs made up using UK microfiber and are cut to create ergonomic lines that are amazingly comfortable to wear. Gorgeous everyday underwear for that discerning man….”
They are starting off with a trunk and brief. So they are starting off small and will more than likely build up their collections. Which is good to see a brand going slow to build up a fan base. The underwear is made out of microfiber and is only available in black.
If you’re interested check out the 1st Man Underwear site and use code NEWSBRIEFS10% at check out to get 10% off your order. The code is good until October 16th
There is a debate in the underwear world which is better a thong or a jock? We have guys who fall on both sides of this issue. I think the main argument is that the Jock is considered by some to masculine, where as the Thong is considered to be feminine. I think this is the totally wrong way to look at the issue.
The main question comes down to comfort. As it should with any pair of underwear. Now I hear some of you out there that you don’t want something giving you a wedgie during the day. Speaking from experience you get the right thong and you never notice the string during the day. Get the wrong string and it won’t last more than 5 minutes.
Jocks have been considered a piece of underwear for sporting activities. We have many readers who will wear nothing but a Bike #10 classic jock, where other guys wear anything and like to mix it up with fashion jocks. The pouch sizes on all these differ, which is the most important factor in a jock. It has to hold you and give you amazing support.
So this brings me back to the question Jock Vs. Thong? After six years of doing the blog I have found you are either one or the other. Meaning one is your favorite over the other, not that you only wear one of the other. Our very own Kyle loves both jocks and thongs. But if you have someone give you two pairs of underwear a thong and a jock, which would you wear first? The next question is if you are a thong or jock guy would you try the other pair?
We are curious as to what you guys think. Leave a comment here or let us know through Twitter or email. Also share your favorite Jock or Thong!
It’s been a while since we ran any Narciso. They are an underwear company out of Argentina. This is a shot from their new collection. We hope you enjoy it.
Hello UNB readers. I hope everyone is wearing comfy undies that they love. I am excited that fall is just around the corner. For me, fall is great because the cool nights are on their way.
I am a lover of running pants, leggings, long johns or what ever name you prefer to call them. I find that wearing them on a chilly evening while watching the tv is cozy and in an odd way, very sexy. The compression of the material and the feel is relaxing and almost hypnotic. I am hoping this fall I will have that someone special I can introduce them to and cuddle with.
Another of my favorite fall activities is to go out for a hot chocolate and hit some of my favorite book stores and enjoy the crisp night air. Of course nder my jeans I am wearing a pair of long johns. The warmth of them along with me knowing what sexy surprise im wearing under my jeans makes for a fun outing.
I often wonder if any of the other guys are also wearing long johns and if so do they love them as much as I do. I have noticed this year more companies are coming out with great long johns that are sexy and stylish.
Do any of you feel the same way about long johns? What are some of your favorite brands? Colors? Material? Tell us about it. We are all friends here and want to share and get our readers involved.

To that I replied bring it on! We will have an interview with them soon, they have an amazing story. Plus they are made buy really great guys! So stay tuned!
Are you a fan of C-IN2? They just released the new C-IN2 Zen colors for the Fall. We had to sure this picture of a fun orange brief with you guys! Enjoy
I am excited to get to review for everyone the teamm8 Mate Brief in white. I was blown away when I got them. I absolutely loved them as soon as I saw them. They are the low cut briefs in white and they have a draw string waist.
At first I wondered if they were swim trunks, but they are 95% cotton 5% Elastane, ad they don’t have a lined crotch area so I realize they are underwear.
I have always loved underwear with a draw string waist. I don’t know why, they are sexy, comfy, fun and if you eat a lot you can adjust the waist.
I decided the second I saw these that they were going to be for special occasions. I didn’t wear them to work for a day but I would rear them out for a special night.
When I first pulled them on I totally LOVED them. They were comfy and very sexy The cut is perfect and have the right amount of room in the front and the butt. The waist we perfect because you tie them to your liking.
Throughout the night they were perfect. The drawstring waist was comfy, not too tight and not too lose. The leg openings were snug but not so tight that they hurt or were binding.
I am pleased to say I was told how sexy they look on me. I wont go into details but I have worn them once since them and I love them. I wear a size medium and these fit perfectly.
Pros:
- Soft material
- Great construction
- Comfortable, great fit and cut
- Draw string waist is the best.
- Very sexy cut and style.
Cons:
Ratings:
- Daily fit – 10

I recommend you get a pair of the Teamm8 Mate Draw String Briefs for those special occasions or for everyday wear. Teamm8 furnished this pair for review.
From the looks of the recent shoot Nick Jonas did for Flaunt Magazine, he was channeling his inner Marky Mark from the 90’s. When I first saw this the first thing that came to mind of seeing the B/W image of Mark in his CK boxer briefs grabbing his junk and smiling. I remember it was a little controversial in the 90’s. Now, this picture got more of the OMG there is no more squeaky clean image.
All too often male stars will never been seen in their underwear. A good thing is that it’s not shocking that he was in his undies but I heard more “OMG Nick Jonas isn’t the squeaky clean boy we knew in the Jonas Brothers” The question is will he be in undies more often? I think a brand should pick him up for a spokes model! Just sayin’! Whats your thoughts on him working for a brand?
I was super excited for getting to work with Justin Case. They are such an amazing company. We hope to see many good things from them this year. But they have a new face for the year. When I talked to Mr. Justin AKA Ryan the owner, he said they get a new model every year! Here is the new face for the year.

I am really excited to be able to review for you readers the Wood Trunk, Digital Camo print. When I first received them I was beyond excited. The pattern is great fun and to add to the charm is a small “W” in a circle randomly placed throughout the pattern. This adds a touch of fun that is always needed with underwear.
Upon getting them I did my visual QC inspection and was very pleased with the material and the construction. The camo pattern was fun and something totally new for me. I love bright colors and patterns with my underwear, but I have never had camo print underwear. The material was soft and stretchy but supportive. The combination of 35% Tencil, 60% cotton and 5% Elastane proved to be the perfect combination.
I always prefer to wear my review underwear to work because I do a lot of moving at work. Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, stretching and climbing stairs. I want to make sure I do a full range of motions to provide an accurate review.
From the moment I put them on in the morning they were amazingly comfortable. The wide waistband was snug and perfect fitting. Not binding or pinching but smooth feeling. The leg openings were perfect. Not too tight and not too lose. The butt was perfect as was the front pouch. Both were really well designed and fit like they were tailor made.
Throughout the entire day I had no issues with them the legs didn’t ride up or bunch. The waistband was smooth and stayed in place. Even during my workout they were ideal.
The Wood Trunks did not overheat or feel sweaty. The cotton breathed nicely. They were truly a pleasure to wear all day.
I have worn them a couple times since my first wearing and I am really pleased with how they hold up after wearing them and laundering them. One small drawback is after several washings the color has started to fade just a little.
Pros:
- Soft material
- Fun and stylish print
- Comfortable for all day wearing
- Great fit for your butt and crotch
- Very sexy and stylish underwear
Cons:
- The print started to fade a little bit
Ratings:
- Daily fit – 10
- Sizing – 10
- Construction/Material – 9.5
- Styling – 10
- Daily Performance – 10
- Overall – 9.92
I totally recommend you guys give the Wood Trunk Camo Print a try. They are a newer brand and they make great underwear. These trunks are in my regular rotations now.

Armando Adajar does some really great photography. We love when he shares some new pics with us. This time he features the brand Barcode.
Today’s review is the Cocksox CSX Trunk. I have never tried Cocksox and I was excited to finally try something from them. When I received them I was really excited and couldn’t wait to wear them.
My initial QC review impressed me. The construction was very high quality and I was very impressed with the material used. I don’t thin k I’ve ever tried Supplex but I love this material. The color combination is fun and playful (the pair I got to review was the Azure Blue with white and sea foam trim).
When I pulled them on for my first review day I was very happy with the trunks overall fit and look. I am a sucker for a soft waistband and the CSX waistband was ideal. It was soft and didn’t cause any skin irritation or discomfort.
The leg openings were comfy and not binding or pinching but also did not get saggy. The front pouch was roomy and the butt was comfy without feeling saggy. Two drawbacks to this pair are a seam that runs from the waistband down the center of the butt section, and a seam that runs between the legs openings low on the butt section. A couple times throughout the day I felt it, and that was the only time I even realized I was wearing them.
The material was airy and breathed very nicely and I didn’t overheat or feel sweaty down there. They were a true joy to wear and they stood up to a tough day at work and working out.
These are in my “Special Occasion” drawer, so I don’t wear them as often but save them for those times when only the best will due.
Pros:
- Amazing material
- Fun color combination
- Comfortable, offering great support
- Great fit for your butt and crotch
- The Supplex material stands up to repeated washes and wearings.
Cons:
- The two seams on the butt I mentioned before..
Ratings:
- Daily fit – 9.5
- Sizing – 10
- Construction/Material – 10
- Styling – 9.5
- Daily Performance – 10
- Overall – 9.83
I am going to order more of the CSX from Cocksox. They offer several different cuts and colors and they are a MUST for every mans underwear drawer. Cocksox furnished this pair for review.

When you ask someone about the evolution of men’s designer underwear, there’s really only one name that should spring to mind as the starting point, the foundation: Calvin Klein. Back before Andrew Christian was a gleam in his parents’ eyes, before people knew how to pronounce 2(x)ist or C-IN2, when AussieBum was just the name for an Australian guy’s butt; Calvin Klein was gracing the cover of Vogue magazine and forging his own empire. In September of 1969, only a year after releasing his first clothing line, Calvin Klein was featured on the cover of the iconic fashion magazine, and even though it would be another ten years before he would venture into the men’s underwear scene, things were about to change.
In today’s world of men’s designer underwear, it’s hard to tell where things got started. There seems to be a new style every week, straps are added and subtracted at will, colors and prints come and go with seasons; but you can trace everything we have to choose from now back to the revolution that happened in the 80s and 90s, and Calvin Klein was at the forefront of that revolution. Up until that point men’s underwear was simply an item of necessity, but the emergence of designer underwear made it sexy. Full-cut briefs gave way to sleeker, more European-inspired styles with high cut legs and less coverage. Boxer briefs became wardrobe staples. Colors and prints became huge selling points. Men’s underwear was no longer something to be kept hidden, and the new styles, prints, and colors were almost daring men to show them off.
Marketing also played a huge role in the emergence of men’s designer underwear, and perhaps the most recognizable marketing campaign was Calvin Klein’s partnership with rapper/model/actor Mark Wahlberg (then, Marky Mark). Many other stars have followed, but Mark Wahlberg’s ads seem to be the ones that have stuck with everyone the most. Calvin Klein had made men’s underwear sexy and appealing, but Mark Wahlberg made it cool. Calvin Klein is no stranger to scandalous, provocative, scantily clad advertisements, and has actually gotten into some trouble over some in the past, but that kind of “in your face” marketing got everyone’s attention. If underwear wasn’t something men were talking about, Mark Wahlberg’s partnership with Calvin Klein got them talking. All of a sudden, men’s underwear was here to stay, and Calvin Klein brought it to us.
In the years that followed, other brands popped up to leave their mark on the underwear industry, but Calvin Klein has always remained a staple. Calvin Klein seems to have always operated under the “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” rule. While other brands are certainly more innovative, more daring, the classic simplicity of Calvin Klein underwear has always persisted, and still holds true today. Calvin Klein underwear has grown from the basic black and white that it started as to include multiple different lines, colors, fabrics, and prints, but their styles have always stayed remarkably consistent. The Steel line has been one of my favorites and has included a great selection of colors over the years; and their Body line should be a staple in any man’s underwear drawer. You’re pretty hard pressed to find a Calvin Klein jockstrap or thong these days, but they existed for a while, and they’re still out there if you know where to find them.
In September of 1969, when Calvin Klein appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine, his brand was a fledgling company, barely past infancy. No one could have known 45 years ago that his company would have made the impact on the underwear scene as it has today. It wasn’t always an easy ride for the Calvin Klein brand, facing economic troubles, failed product lines, and ever-growing market competition; but I think every other designer underwear company out there today owes a great debt of gratitude towards Calvin Klein for not only designing sexy underwear, but for bringing it to everyone’s attention. Would men’s underwear have evolved without Calvin Klein? Probably. But at the same time, we might not be where we are today. I’m pretty pleased with how far underwear has come, and I’m certain that I’ll enjoy the ride as men’s underwear continues to evolve.

It’s like a chapter of UNB is coming to a close. Wish him well and enjoy this great review featuring Jack Adams.
This pair was furnished for review.
We got a chance to ask one of our long time favorites, Jockstrap Central a few questions about the first 9 years of their business. I think this interview shows their personality and why we like them so much!
How did you guys come up with the idea for Jockstrap Central?
Both Adrian and I (John) were both at career crossroads when we met 10 years ago. I was a graphic designer / programmer with an internet marketing background from my previous job and had a huge underwear fetish. Adrian always wanted to open a brick and mortar underwear store. We combined our ideas and chose to focus on the underwear style we loved the most.
Did you think it would last 9 years when you created the site?
I guess starting any new business there’s always a bit of doubt but I felt pretty confident in what we were creating. At the time I ran a community based website for underwear enthusiasts and saw a movement happening. I saw guys that were obsessed with underwear (including myself) being fueled by the Internet and the access we all had to international brands and styles. No longer were we stuck with the boring department store offerings.
What has been the biggest joy in creating Jockstrap Central?
Working side by side with my husband creating something I love with the guy I love (yeah I know, pretty sappy!)
What have been some of the more popular jocks you have sold?
Nine years and countless jockstraps, that’s a pretty tough question. The one obvious one is the Bike #10s (RIP), that’s the one that started it all. In the fashion/fetish category, anything Nasty Pig and Cellblock 13 create as their designs are so edgy and the quality impeccable. Of course, anything mesh and see-through sell well for us. Probably because we’re totally uncensored, but if I had to choose one from that category it would be the Pulse Stretch Mesh Jockstrap (hopefully back in stock soon!)
Since it’s all jockstraps, what is your favorite jockstrap?
My all time favorite jockstrap was the Nasty Pig Knockout Jockstrap in blue white and red. It’s been discontinued, but it really spoke to me on so many levels. It tickled my graphic design sensibilities with it’s retro feel and comic book reference. (I’ve included a photo).
You have always produced your own photography, do you have a favorite model? (Mine is Trent)
Our photography is core to our business. Not only is it a huge part of our image but being an online store, our job is to instill confidence in
customers when purchasing. In a brick and mortar store, customers can touch the goods. As an online store, all we have are our lengthy descriptions and our extensive and highly detailed photography. Sure, manufacturers supply photography but most isn’t great, won’t fit the format of our website, doesn’t show the detail we require and isn’t blatantly sexual or has that dash of irreverent fun that we’re all about.
As for models: There’s not one model that I don’t love (well, ok there was one but we won’t go there). I know a lot of guys have a “type” but I don’t and that’s the reason our models are so varied and based on feedback, our customers and fans appreciate that. But since you’ve asked me to choose, I’ll say that Trent is a favorite as he’s just a dream to work with and he’s so handsome but the one model who I have a (platonic) crush on would have to be Adam Stray. There’s something about him, his look, his personality that drives me crazy plus he’s definitely not shy so if there’s something mesh or something that requires frontal exposure, he’s our go to guy.
What does the future hold for Jockstrap Central?
Although our focus is and always will be jockstraps, we’ll certainly be continuing to branch out into underwear and sportswear as we’ve been doing over the past year.

It’s time for Baskit $12 Tuesday. Where you get an amazing pair of undies at a super low price. This week the pair is the Energy Brief. So make sure you go over and check it out before it’s too late!
Ok good, now with that out of the way let me tell you about one of my favorite brands of underwear. Express is known for great fitting dress shirts, and stylish clothing, but something they do well also is underwear. It comes in Sport Trunks, Boxer Briefs, and then online they have briefs.
I started buying their underwear because I liked the colors and patterns on it. For me these aren’t your fancy underwear but a nice pair to just wear on a day to day basis. To me they are a more upscale version of Hanes. I mainly started buying pairs when I would find them on clearance, can’t pass up a pair for $6.
My favorite style Express offers is the Sports trunk. This is a redesign for them from a normal trunk. The sport truck is slightly shorter. The materials are cotton and spandex. The material is extremely comfortable and fits excellent around my bubble butt.
The briefs, when you can find them online in your size, which can be hard to do sometimes are really nice. I enjoy the feel of them against me. The elastic around the legs does an excellent job of holding up throughout the day. It also stretches nicely to accommodate my butt.
So if you get a chance to check out some Express underwear I do recommend it. They just started carrying a Core Performance line for working out. I know I am going to be getting them soon to try them out.
Disclaimer: I am an employee of Express. I am not getting compensated for writing a review about their product…I just like it on my own accord.
You may know Tom Daly as the Olympic Diver who was a fan favorite at the 2012 Olympics in London. But he’s been shooting a 2015 calendar featuring swimwear and underwear. Its a fun video where you can see Tom’s personality.
