SupaWear is not a company scared of color. Jason really likes to experiment and have fun with the undies he releases. He’s always pulling colors not considered super masculine and he makes them masculine. This time the collection contains pink. It has a lighter, muted pink and also a brighter, bold pink.

I got a chance to see this line in Vegas real quick. This is one pair that I think you need to see in person. The way the color pops is amazing! There are a few pairs I have seen where you need to actually feel and see them, once you do you will be sold! They also have one of my favorite waistband right now, the SP super hero branded one is one of my favs!

The style comes in a brief, trunk and jock. You can see all the pics below of each style in each color. They are all available now at the Supawaer site.

Unknown-8You may think that Gregg Homme is all about erotic wear. You would be wrong! They are not always about thongs and mesh. They have a line called Gentleman. I had very high hopes for this pair because I love Gregg Homme. I can’t think of any pairs I have ever disliked.

The Gentleman line is Gregg Homme’s take on a basic line. But, unlike most basics, this is still made with some of the fabric Gregg Homme is famous for. I always ask in Vegas about how they find this fabric but they never tell me, it’s a trade secret. The fabric for the Gentleman is a poly spandex with micro modal air jet fabric. What does that mean to you? It won’t fit like cotton basics. It has a very nice feel!

I will say this pair was an interesting change from the other pairs of Gregg Homme. This is one that would very much fit the gym factor. Meaning I could wear it to the gym and bet I wouldn’t get looks. The other pairs I have are the Voyeur Brief, A Net g-string and Jock! I give them props for doing a classic line. The fit was pretty good. My only concern when I first put on was that the pouch was a little snug. It wasn’t tight or binding but just snug. More on that in a sec!

I wore these to the first day of my contract job. Now, I haven’t worked an 8 hour day since over a year ago and it was in an office where I got to wear shorts and t shirts. This is a more Biz casual environment. I was up way early and put them on under my khakis. My worry about the pouch was rarely noticed through out the day. Granted I wish it had a bit bigger pouch though. The fabric allowed me to breath and felt great through the day. This was the most active I have been with a pair, shy of the previous review I did, where I ran through the airport.

The pair I received is an XL. Which fit me very well, its been the size I wear most in Gregg Homme. I’m back to a 38 in waist and working my way back down. So it wasn’t too snug or too lose. If you check the size chart for them you shouldn’t have an issue at all.

Pros:

  • Amazing fabric
  • Classic styling
  • Breathable for a long day

Cons:

  • Only one is a bigger pouch

Ratings:

  • Daily fit – 9
  • Sizing – 9
  • Construction – 9
  • Styling – 9
  • Daily performance – 9
  • Overall – 9

cellblock13-asylumAre you a fan of fetish? If so we a great line for you. Timoteo’s Cellblock13 just released the Asylum collection. Fetishwear is it’s own section of underwear. Either you like it or you don’t. There is very little middle ground. Cellblock13, I would say, is a little more on the hard core end of fetishwear. It is made for some serious playtime or to be seen at a bar night.

The new line has a Chap Pant, Lace Up Jock Trunk, Lace Up Jock Brief. Unlike the other lines they have released this one has only two colors, red/black and Navy/Yellow. This line is made out of nylon/spandex material. When I first saw it I thought it could be swimwear because of the fabric. My personal favorite is the Navy/Yellow over the Red/Black.

When I met with Timoteo in Vegas he told me about this line and said it would be shipping very soon. He was not kidding, the line is out on their site and retailers. He went into detail about the line and pointed out the back. The back is reinforced and won’t roll, bunch up or any other combination. It will stay in place and look great. There is nothing worse than getting a pair and have to constantly readjust it. Especially a pair like the chap, that maybe worn out without anything over it!

Timoteo really knows how to make amazing fetishwear. The line for Cellblock13 never seems to amaze me. Just when I think I have seen it all they do something like this, where they play with fabric. The pieces retail for Chap Pant ($68), Lace Up Jock Trunk ($38) and Lace Up Jock Brief ($33). Find them at your favorite retailer or at the Cellblock13 site.

IMG_5966We love you guys! I am meeting more and more of you online! While in LA I got to meet up with a long time reader where we talked for three hours over cupcakes. 90678 front

When I first discovered my love of underwear, I was a colors guy. Meaning I loved solid bright colors. I wore reds, blues, yellows and any other color I could find. It was the 80’s and colors were in fashion with men’s underwear. Then the 90’s came and the color went out of underwear for a while. Slowly over that decade and through the 2000’s, color crept back into the men’s underwear.

In the 2000/2010’s colors really came back. We got colors we didn’t really see in previous years. Those are pink, purple, pastel, and any other color designers could come up with in their designs. I would say in the last 2-3 years prints have come on strong. I”m not talking stripes or geometric. But custom made prints like from Discover (above). They have taken inspiration from their Latin American heritage.

They aren’t the only ones using great prints. Other brands such as Obviously and Diesel have embraced amazing prints. And more and more companies are starting to think outside the solid underwear box. Which is awesome!

You maybe asking why do I like these prints so much. I’m a firm believer that underwear should reflect your personality as much as your clothes do. If you read this blog then you already hold this to be truth! So when I let go of my “I must wear only solids/stripes” my eyes opened to some amazing underwear.

I am finding these prints are letting my personality. I am looking at underwear I would have passed over before for being too brash, gaudy or crazy. The joys of loving underwear, for me, is the ability to be open to new things (even boxer briefs). I think we need to challenge ourselves and step outside our color box and enjoy something we normally wouldn’t. You may just discover you love it!

dt-jockstraps

Jockstrap Central carried DT a good number of years ago and despite being a best seller, the company was near impossible to deal with so they dropped them. However, when their phone rang a short while ago and it was DT contacting us letting them know that the company was sold and under new management, they quickly put in a new order for their latest designs. Not only has the company improved, but so has the craftsmanship of their underwear. For obvious reasons, Jockstrap Central is relaunching with the new DT Essentials jockstrap and jock brief. Here’s the details.

DT ESSENTIALS JOCKSTRAP:

Sure, the Essentials Jock looks great but it’s also all about comfort. Not only is it made with a super-soft brushed mostly cotton fabric with a hint of spandex for stretch, shape retention and fit but it’s got a very generous, non-constricting contoured pouch design. Even better is this is a low-rise jock so it’s perfect worn under all the popular low-rise jeans. The waistband is soft and plushed and the leg straps have a comfortable relaxed stretch.

Comfort aside, this is one good looking jock with a subtle retro feel and includes a single white stitched line down the center of the pouch matching the single stripe running horizontal through the waistband. Another awesome feature is the three quarter inch wide elastics that start at the waistband, edging the pouch and end up as the straps of the jock. Pretty clever and striking.

DT ESSENTIALS SPORT JOCK BRIEF:

The Essentials Sports Jock Brief has a comfortable fit, an athletic feel and a secret! Not only is it made with a super-soft brushed mostly cotton fabric with a hint of spandex for stretch, shape retention and fit but it’s got a special bulge lifting pocket built into the pouch to ensure your boys are displayed to the maximus. A contoured pouch edged with contrasting white double stitching and a center single stitching all do their job of highlighting every curve of what’s you’ve got.

Don’t think that the front get’s all the attention, it’s a “jock” brief after all! The back would normally be a traditional brief back except this has got a very hot hole cut out of it and edged with another round of contrasting stitching in white perfectly framing your ass. Can you say bulls eye!

Both new designs come in three color variations: army, black or grey and they’re also very reasonably priced at only $17.95 for the jock and $21.95 for the jock brief!”

871-ForbiddenWhy is it that when we are told something is forbidden we want it more? It’s human nature right? This Fetish Friday post is inspired by the one and only Gregg Homme brand featuring a desirable jockstrap from the Forbidden Collection. Fetish underwear incorporates a lot of ideas that are typically not present in your everyday pair of underwear. For instance, mesh, leather, and sheer material are typically saved for the more playful underwear that leaves very little to the imagination.

Gregg Homme managed to bring a mesh and leather like combination to a beautiful jockstrap. What I love about this specific pair of fetish wear is that it also has a zipper in the front pouch. Imagine walking into the bedroom with your lover, they unzip your pants to find this sexy pair of underwear waiting underneath. Things get heated up when they see black leather like material, mesh exposing the skin, and a zipper covering the front pouch, inviting them to continue unzipping their present. The pouch on this pair is designed with play in mind. The mesh sides gives you a look into what you are packing while the zipper gives a fun and creative way to expose yourself to your lover. The sex appeal continues in the back with a beautiful jock thong design, circling and showcasing your butt for your admirer.

Fetish underwear is about stepping out of the box with basic and comfortable designs. These pairs are not meant to be worn under a suit all day at the office. Instead, they are meant to display and showcase who you are while teasing and enticing who you are trying to impress. The next time you are planning a late night rendezvous, stop by Gregg Homme and check out this Forbidden collection. It is also available in a brief and boxer brief, with plenty of mesh and leather like for whatever style you prefer on your body.

We had a reader send us a pic! I am so happy when we have readers who send in their pics! This Scott and here is some info about him:  well, I am definitely not a model.   I am just your average Joe (Scott) from Kansas City.  I spend my days working miracles in the information tech field.  I’ll travel at the drop of a hat and have.   My record is 36 hours between deciding to take a trip and ending up on a beach in Mazatlan.  I didn’t take your “swim brief challenge” this year, because most of the time I already wear swim briefs.  I’ve never been a big fan of board shorts.  Briefs are definitely more comfortable, plus they give a better tan line.
