Andrew Christian furnished the Unicorn Rainbow Brief for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by any brand.

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 8/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros:

  • Made with the Almost Naked Pouch!!
  • Super fun whimsical print
  • Amazingly soft material

Cons:

  • Some guys may not like the print, it maybe too cartoonish for them
  • The waistband is for waistband lovers
  • I”m not sure it’s a gym pair.

UNB Tim recommendation: If you want a pair that’s super fun and over the top this is it. It’s made with one of my favorite pouches. If you like super fun undies this is for you, if you don’t you may want to skip it but I think it’s AMAZING

Andrew Christian has been making some super fun pairs lately. One that I had my eye on was the Rainbow Unicorn Brief. So when we got to review it, I was super happy about it. I have really enjoyed the Almost Naked line for a few years and love to see it come in amazing prints. This one is one of the best. I mean rainbows and unicorns!!!!

I wore this pair to work. I felt I needed something super fun one day. It was going to be a stressful day and wearing unicorns would make the day better. Well that, the fabric and Almost Naked pouch. The fabric in the new lines they have been releasing have been amazing. It’s super soft and breathes throughout the day. Match that with an amazing pouch and it’s a pretty good pair.

The sizing with AC is pretty consistant. The biggest problem I have had with them over the years is the leg openings. If you have bigger thighs, they can be super tight depending on the pair. This has happened to me in the past. Luckily, this pair didn’t have that issue.

One bonus to this pair is the waistband. The band is black with silver AC name written in it. I mean come on, unicorns without silver!! It’s pretty much a no brainer and one of the reasons I like this pair!! It’s over the top with the print so go ahead and push it over as far as you can go!!!

UNB bought the Ergowear Max Mesh Jock for review, it was not furnished for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by any brand. .

Rating: 10/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros:

  • The max pouch is amazing in support and fit
  • The mesh fabric felt great all day and kept me cool
  • One of the most amazing fits in a pair of underwear and in the all time top 3 jocks I have ever worn

Cons:

  • Not for you if you don’t love jocks
  • Leg Straps can roll when putting on like with most jocks.
  • May enhance your bulge, which could be good or bad depending on where you wear

UNB Tim recommendation: If you love jocks this is a MUST have for your drawer. It’s especially true if you love to wear them during strenuous activities and have something fashionable. Even if you don’t it’s perfect for everyday wear in hot climates or anywhere! I think every guy should own one. This is an amazing pair!!!

It’s no secret that Ergowear is one of my favorite brands. Their pouches are some of the best on the market. My personal favorites are the X3D and Max because I love the way they fit. The Feel pouch is a bit loose for my taste. Ergowear released the Max Mesh line and I knew I had to have some. This review is the jock but I also go the long boxer brief (yes I got a boxer brief).

I wore these to work on a hot day. It’s fall here in ATL but it’s still 80-90 degree days. When I slid this pair on, I was like “WOW, I am loving this fit.” The pouch was just what I love. It was tight and held everything in place. Mix that with the mesh fabric that kept me cool all day and WOW. As I went through the day I would constantly go “I can’t believe how great this pair feels all day.” I don’t know if it gave me bulge and extra boost or not but I didn’t care as well as this pair fit.

The mesh fabric is the star of this pair. It will keep you cool throughout the day. It’s perfect for working out and being active. Or, if you’re like me in a hotter climate it’s a great every day pair. The Ergowear site says “you’ll feel fully-supported and dry all day long” and this is 100% true. If you’re curious, the fabric is 89% Polyester, 11% Spandex mesh fabric

I would say that Ergowear has one of the best size charts in the business. If you follow it you’ll be fine. Their sizing is pretty consistent over the last few years. Before you buy any underwear check the sizing. I got an Xl and it fit really well. I can’t recall any times when I heard of sizing issues. So once you buy you should feel confident in buying in the future.

This jock is in the top 3 of my favorite jocs, EASY. The fit and feel impressed me big time. I couldn’t get over how well the pouch felt all day. The breathability of the fabric and the color. I got the Blue! This is perfect for any active guy but hell any guy that loves jocks. This is getting the rare 10 out of 10 from me. I am going to buy the whole line and can’t wait to review the Max Mesh boxer briefs now!! I HIGHLY recommend this piar

Mensuas provided the Daddy DDK014 Thong in Turquoise/Black for review.

Rating: 7.4/10 (Average of the ratings below)

• Daily Fit: 7/10

• Sizing: 9/10

• Construction: 8/10

• Styling: 7/10

• Daily Performance: 6/10

Pros:

• Super stretchy and soft fabric

• Large pouch for all day comfort

• Bright color combination

Cons:

• It is see through, so if that’s not your thing…

• Two tone design isn’t for everyone

• Only available in three different color options

UNB Ryan’s recommendation: I love thongs and jump at any chance to check out a new style or designer. The way that this pair is constructed is unique in that it incorporates a see-through mesh front panel. I wasn’t sure about the see-through aspect at first (I know I’ll wear a thong on the beach in front of anybody but see-through underwear???) but ended up liking it just fine. The mesh used for the see-through feature is really soft, unlike some mesh features I have worn in the past. It may cause me to branch out a bit more in my fabric selections in the future.

I have not previously worn anything from Daddy Underwear, not for any particular reason but simply because there are so many different brands and styles out there. It’s hard to pick a new brand or style (hopefully the reason you are reading this article). The pair I am reviewing today is the Daddy Underwear Thong and was provided for review by Mensuas. I usually stray away from anything with a mesh design because I don’t like the way it feels against my skin, but these are surprisingly comfy. This suit was a tiny bit outside of my comfort zone for two reasons. First, the mesh panel is not something that I would typically like. Next, the front pouch is a more traditional, wider pouch that I am accustomed to it is not a bulge pouch that is my go-to pouch style. The cut, however, is very well suited for long-term wear, and is very comfortable! The mesh fabric insert also feels very soft which was a surprise for me as I have had some mesh styles in the past that were very uncomfortable.

As the Mid-Atlantic has been faced with the threat of Hurricane Florence over the past week, I have had the opportunity to wear this pair around the house while lounging, binge watching Ozark on Netflix, and I may have snuck outside for a few minutes in them to grill some burgers. The pouch design on this pair is pretty traditional, with the exception of the mesh panel insert. The pouch is a flat front design with a small forward dart, so they have plenty of room for all day wear with minimal adjustment. Another design feature is the two-tone pattern which features brightly colored solids paired with a mesh insert of the same color, with a contrasting color band. The waistband is 3/4’” and constructed of the same Nylon/Spandex blend as the rest of the underwear. The final design feature is a black panel insert on the front which does a nice job of transitioning into the mesh pouch and highlighting your package.

As far as I can tell, Daddy Underwear has done an outstanding job in the construction of this pair. If I had to point out one thing that I disliked about this pair I would say the same thing that I do with all thongs-smaller tags! I have thoroughly enjoyed wearing this pair over the last week, and will continue to keep it in my rotation. The cut of this pair is conservative, and could be worn under a pair of dress slacks without any concern of drawing additional attention, that is until you get undressed and want more attention. The see through detail on this pair will surely incite attention wherever you choose to show them off!

I don’t have any experience with the Daddy brand of underwear to compare this style and size too. Mensuas provided this pair in a size medium, which isn’t my typical size, but I’ll say that they are probably pretty true to size based on my experience with other brands and styles in the industry. If I were to buy another pair, I would definitely size down to my normal size.

In conclusion, I have been pleasantly surprised with this pair and will look more into Daddy Underwear and their new offerings. I would love to see more color options, and maybe see a bulge style pouch introduced, but overall the brand is delivering a sold product at a very low price point that should be affordable for everyone. Give Daddy Underwear a try and let us know in the comments below what you think. You can also send me a message or question directly on Instagram or Twitter @unb_ryan . I look forward to hearing from you soon!

BRAND: JOR
PAIR: Sunny Swim Thong 0427
COLORS: Black, Fuchsia, White, Grey Print, and Yellow Print
FABRIC: 84%NYLON 16%SPANDEX
SIZES: Small  – XL
COST: $41.60

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the Rating Below)

• Daily Fit: 7/10
• Sizing 9/10
• Styling: 9/10
• Performance 7/10

Pros:

• Love the styling-I have always been a fan of the thicker waist band look. I think the wide band style gives a little modesty to an inherently un-modest swimsuit. Sometimes little refinement and sophistication rather than overly strappy and loud styling can be a little much in a thong swimsuit for me.
• Colors- Love the arrangement of solid to print colors on the suit. I personally own the black and love the simplicity in wearing a solid black thong. However, the Fuchsia, or other prints brings this thong to another notch in loudness! Great to fit the personality of the wearer.
• Buns Factor- The wide bands make your behind look outstanding. Hands down my favorite back on any thong I own right now

Cons:

• Center Strap design- What really stops me from wearing this suite every time is that darn center strap, or really string. Many of JOR’s thong swimsuits’ center strap eventually becomes a simple string that eventually joins the pouch. To be honest, I have learned to hate that feeling beneath my gonads. If you are just tanning for the day, it’s really not bad, but if you are at all active, or dare I say bend over, there really isn’t a lot of coverage to save you.

• Pouch size- While the pouch is luxurious and soft and the material construction is fantastic, the size is just ok. For me its slightly constricting and not a whole lot of room to stretch. Especially with that string…nothing to save you below that pouch…Have I mentioned I don’t like the center strap!?

• Big clothing tag on the back-strap. I guess I must be splitting hairs, but the clothing tag is huge for just a small swimsuit… I promptly remove the tag because it literally hangs out the side of your suit if you are not careful. But their goes your sizing, washing, and care instructions…

UNB Shawn Recommendations

This is a great first swim thong to purchase. If you are on the fence about this whole swim thong craze here on UNB look no further than this suit. It is easy to find, pricing not terrible, lots of colors, and fairly modest backside.

I have worn this thong a few times in the sun and in the water and it really is a thong built to last. Good quality construction and for the most part pretty comfortable…Maybe you will like the stringy strap, but it all reality it’s a great piece of clothing and I am glad it is a part of my collection.

Joe Snyder sent me the Joe Snyder Maxi Bulge Thong in Royal Blue for review.

Rating: 9.0/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros:

  • Quick drying Royal Blue fabric
  • Roomy pouch accentuates your package
  • Small Joe Snyder branded tag on the front strap

Cons:

  • Bring back pink!
  • Large care tag

UNB Ryan’s recommendation:The Joe Snyder Maxi Bulge Thong is a welcome addition to their Maxi Bulge collection, which already includes bikini, clip, capri, kini, and cheek boxer styles.  I love that they have introduced a couple pieces of new technology to this suit-this suit features their maxi bulge enhancer as well as a scrunched rear (more on those it a bit).  Anyone who has complained about smaller pouches in the past can rest easy, as this new pouch from Joe Snyder should accommodate almost anyone-if it won’t contain all of you we want to see. #picsoritdidnthappen

I always get excited to see a message from Joe Snyder saying that there is something new coming or a sale in the future. Knowing that they are sending me one ant want my opinion is even more exciting!  Today I am reviewing the Joe Snyder Maxi Bulge Thong in Royal Blue.  I am quickly becoming a huge fan of the brand, and if you were to take a peek ay my underwear collection you’d see that they take up a sizeable amount of space in my top drawer.  My only concern with reviewing this pair was that I wouldn’t be able to fill out the pouch.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that this pouch is very accommodating, whether you are on the smaller side (like me), or if you have a very large package, this thong will make you feel much larger than normal.  I have seen a couple of guys on Instagram wearing these that are considerably larger than I am that look great in them!

As of this review, I have worn this suit on two separate occasions-once to a hotel pool and once around the house as my weekend loungewear.  I have been very pleased with the performance of this thong in both scenarios.  This pouch holds your package in a forward position-the Maxi-Bulge enhancement features a built in strap that surrounds and lifts your package and keeps everything in a semi-erect position and helps to fill out the pouch properly.  Anyone who has any self confidence issues owes it to themselves to try this, or one of Joe Snyder’s other suits featuring this technology because it will definitely give you a visible boost in the size department!

The styling of this suit is slightly different than Joe Snyder’s other thong styles in that the pouch is cut a bit higher and wider than the Bulge Tanga, and the rear coverage isn’t quite as skimpy either. There has been a scrunched rear added which nicely accentuates your cheeks, but is also a little larger than the normal Joe Snyder Bulge Tanga cut that I typically wear for tanning.  The side straps connect in the back into a true thong style rear rather than a “T” strap, which I love!  This would be a great suit to wear early on in the year to get your tan lines started, and then switch to something with a little less coverage to show off those tan lines (and cheeks) you have worked so hard for!  Joe Snyder has maintained many of the colors we are familiar with for this suit.  There are a few colors absent on this suit in particular such as the pink and purple that won’t be available in this cut (at least for now) and we can only hope to see them reappear in the future!

Most of the Joe Snyder suits I’ve worn are sized very similarly, and in accordance with industry standards.  The newer lines seem to be slightly smaller, nothing that would require us to size up, but fit a little more snugly than the earlier suits. I always wear a small in Joe Snyder, and didn’t feel out of sorts when pulling these on.  Obviously the pouch on the Maxi Bulge line is larger than normal, to account for a larger package, whether that be from the sheer excitement that this suit creates or the natural larger size of some guys!

To wrap things up, order one of these suits, wrap up your package in it, and get out with your friends and show off!  This suit is very well made, feels great, and will turn heads anywhere between the beach house and beach chair.  As always, my only complaint (if you can call it one) is the large care tag on all of Joe Snyder’s apparel.  Not a show stopper, as we can always cut the tag off with a pair of scissors, or have a friend do it for you once you get to the beach or pool party!  I can’t wait to see what Joe Snyder has in store for the future!  Like usual, let us know in the comments what you think about this suit, or if you like you can drop me a private line on Instagram or Twitter @unb_ryan

Rating: 9.4/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

  • Unusual yellow camouflage pattern
  • Pouch enhances your profile
  • Backside stayed put; no wedgies

Cons:

  • Fabric doesn’t breathe as well as other fabrics
  • Difficult to find

Osgon’s Recommendation: Buy!

During a recent trip to Skivvies in Dallas, Jockmail’s low rise “No Fly Brief” caught my eye hanging on a wall display. I’m always on the lookout for unusual patterns and unfamiliar brands. I loved this brief’s bright yellow camo pattern, and the Jockmail brand was completely unknown to me. $29+tax later, I was on my way home with something new to test for UNB’s readership.

My test for this pair involved a day of grocery shopping and puttering around the house. This brief proved to be exceptional.

The pouch provided ample, comfortable support, although it isn’t as generous (and the fabric isn’t quite as stretchy) as that found in an N2N Bodywear bikini. Nonetheless, I never felt too constricted or needed to readjust things upfront.

The brief provided perfect, all-over backside coverage. The black leg bands stayed in place without ever being too tight or too loose. Any time I needed to squat down, the fabric stretched appropriately without creeping up the back. In short, this brief’s fit fell within the “Goldlocks zone” of comfort.

The 1.75” black elastic waistband didn’t roll and stayed well below the bellybutton. One unique design feature is the pair’s tag: it’s sewn into the waistband along the right hip. The tag never felt scratchy or uncomfortable to me, but this location might be a turnoff to some.

This brief’s camouflage fabric is composed of 80% polyester and 20% spandex. This blend doesn’t “breathe” as well as a cotton-based fabric, and this brief might not provide comfortable long-term wear if you’re going to be out in extreme temperatures. Otherwise, it is extremely comfortable and supportive.

The brief sadly no longer available from Jockmail’s website (www.jockmail.co), but you might be able to find it in your local brick-and-mortar establishment. You can also contact our friends at Skivvies (www.skivviesdallas.com or 214-559-4955) and order a pair. (For items not available on Skivvies’ website, they will accept and process special requests over the phone.)

The brief comes in five colors: yellow (purchased), red, blue, green, & grey. Sizing includes medium (30” – 32”), large (32” – 34”), and extra-large (34” – 36”). Sizing proved accurate.

I was thrilled with this brief’s performance. I look forward to buying more underwear from Jockmail in the future!

PROS

  • unique design
  • nice pouch and bright colors available

CONS

  • seam in the back
  • mesh in front bunches up

Another round of Bum-Chums and I was curious to see how these felt since they were different than just about any other pair of briefs I own.  The bright orange color (Sol) stood out immediately, as did the mesh on the sides and back.  I’m always up for trying something new when it comes to undies and decided to go for it and wear these to work for the day.

The fabric of the pouch is 95% cotton and 5% Elastane so they were soft with a bit of stretch.  The mesh is 95% Polyamide and 5% Elastane.  The back is totally see-through so modesty is not what these are made for!  An interesting design feature – the mesh goes all the way around, even over the top of the pouch, creating a bit of a flap.  I’m guessing that’s supposed to be the “tool belt” design of these briefs.

Sizing seemed on par with other brands.  I’m a 32 at the moment and the medium was a good fit.

I love wearing a new, sexy pair of underwear and these accomplish that.  Mesh is fun and I like the orange pouch, which was nice and comfortable, with enough room for everything up front.  Where I ran into some trouble was the back.  Where the orange fabric comes up and meets the mesh, there is a rather large seam that is very noticeable.  I think maybe the two materials coming together creates a bit of an unsteady seam that is almost wavy if that makes sense.  The point is, about a third up the way up your butt, you can feel the stitching and the seam does not lay flat.  Not the end of the world but the feeling doesn’t get less noticeable – even after an 8 hour day!  I think it took away from the look, as well.  I would have preferred the entire back panel to be mesh and connect down between your legs.  Another issue that didn’t affect comfort, but style, is the mesh going across the front. It didn’t do much except bunch up a bit.

Overall, an interesting pair and I love that brands try new things.  Maybe some seam adjustments would help but I wouldn’t say these are in the everyday rotation – more for fun and showing off.

These undies were furnished by Debriefed and the opinions are that of the reviewer.

Another new brand for me: Debriefed!  After visiting their site, I see they sell other brands as well as their own and their overall theme is inclusion.  Their long-term goal is to expand the brands they carry to offer a selection of great, affordable undies.  I loved the look and feel of these as soon as I opened the package so we were off to a good start.

The first thing you notice with the Debriefed Botanicals, aside from the fun, floral print, is that they are soft.  Really soft! (95% modal and 5% spandex)  They have a contrast gray waistband, leg and pouch trim which was also covered in the same, soft fabric rather than bare elastic, which I appreciate.

I tried a medium, which says it covers a 33-36” waist.  I’m a 32 and they fit just right – not even a little too big, so you might want to size up.  These have a nice pouch and plenty of stretch but they are not cut on the big side.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I decided to break these in on a Saturday running errand, then hanging out at home followed by dinner out.  They felt great as I pulled them on and got things adjusted.  The rear, however, definitely rides up.  A lot.  The trim around the legs is very light and thin, which makes them comfortable, but it doesn’t hold them in place and almost immediate, up they went.  I don’t have much of a butt and the bottom 1/3 of each cheek was showing.  That can actually be kind of sexy in my opinion, but it’s not for everyone.  If you have a lot going on in the back, you’d practically be wearing a thong after bending down once or twice.  This was really the only issue I would foresee someone having with this pair.  I actually have some other briefs with a very similar cut and the same thing happens with them, as well.

I’ll be wearing these again and will try other styles from Debriefed.  I like what they’re about and the prices are pretty fair – except for shipping, but that’s what happens when your undies come from halfway across the world.  They even throw in a gift after you spend a certain amount.

I had never heard of Mr. Smith’s before I received this pair, so I was definitely excited to try something new!  From their site, Mr. Smith’s seems to be a “good basic” type of brand with a down to earth vibe.  They say their underwear are for everyday wear, from work to the gym. They design and even make the undies in the UK, which I respect since most brands outsource labor to save money.  On to the underwear…

Trunks and boxer briefs aren’t my go-to style because they ride up my legs and I run warm so less fabric is usually better for me.  When I first put these on, I definitely needed to stretch out the elastic around the thighs because they were TIGHT!  A few quick pulls and that was a remedied. These are a nice cotton with some stretch and a good pouch.  Nothing overly sexy or fancy here, but definitely not a cheap, run of the mill trunk with no shape.  Only trunks and briefs are offered and in very limited colors, so I wouldn’t say these are for those who love bright, outrageous undies.

This pair was a medium and I’d say they fit appropriately – maybe a little snug, but not enough to size up.

I wore these to work and then on some errands afterward and they held up well.  The legs, of course, rode up as all BB & trunks do on me, but it was manageable. The pouch was great, and they were comfortable all day.  I do wish they had more colors/fabrics and that there was just a bit more attention to detail.  Little things: the waistband repeats Mr. Smith’s all around but there is also a Mr. Smith’s tag on the front center of the waistband.  It isn’t measured out evenly so they overlap and it just doesn’t look as finished as it could. That might just be a little bit of my OCD.  I would definitely try a pair of briefs from Mr. Smith’s.  The trunks were nice, not very exciting, but good.  At $24, they aren’t the cheapest, and may be priced a bit high for a basic trunk. Overall, I was happy to discover a new brand and add another pair to my rotation.

Tigerheat furnished this pair at a discount for our review. But all opinions are my own on the pair.

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Super sexy design, fun orange color, really fun to wear

Cons: Onesize fits all for all people, Just in orange you may want another color, thong background (if you don’t like them)

UNB Tim recommendation: If you’re looking for a super fun bodysuit this is it. This pair is made for fun and is super playful. If you’re tall you may have an issue but everyone should buy fun gear!

It’s no secret that I love singlets and bodysuits. I have loved them since I was in my teens. I didn’t get my first singlet till I was about 18 or 19. After that, I had to have more and more. Currently, in my collection, I have about 25-30 singlets. I haven’t really counted lately. After covering the Tigerheat Bodysuit I got a chance to get one and review it for you guys.

The first thing I noticed was the fabric. It’s not as thick as I thought it would be, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s a cotton fabric with spandex that feels great. If you did wear it to work out in it, I think it would be a great fabric. The next thing I noticed was being 6’4″ not all singlets are made for us tall guys. It took me a few mins to adjust and get it on. The high cut sides and thong back were something I had to get used too. The normal singlet I have has somewhat of a leg or a brief cut at the bottom.

I didn’t wear this pair to work or anywhere. Or for that matter for anyone, I just wore it to relax around the house one Saturday. I could see this pair used in more “playful activities” very easily. It’s super sexy in the design. Some of the gear I have is designed for working out and sport, while others like this is designed simply for fun. That fun can be in and out of bed!

The sizing for this pair is easy, one size fits all! Again if you’re tall like me it will be a bit of a stretch to get in. That’s the downside of the one size fits all! I’m also hoping that once I work out more and get in better shape it will fit me much better as well. Fingers crossed on that one!

If you love sexy bodysuits, check out this pair! I don’t think you will be disappointed. To order, DM them on Instagram

4-Hunks furnished the Bomber Jock for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by 4-Hunks.

Rating: 9/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

  • Mix of fetish and sports gear
  • Has an innovative pouch with no center seam
  • Sports mesh material keeps you cooler

Cons:

  • The mesh material can rub you the wrong way
  • May not be a jock for the gym

UNB Tim recommendation: I love the designs of 4 Hunks. I personally love fetishwear and athletic gear. They mix the both of these things in one. This jock is a perfect mix of both. It’s sexy and fun. It can be worn more than just in the fetish world. If you want a fun jock you need to check it out!

I was looking forward to this jock for a while. I love the design of this jock. It’s a mix of athletic and fetish in one. Well, that’s my take! The mesh front makes it perfect for working out and the back design definitely has a fetish inspiration to me. After reviewing the Load Brief, I was curious about this pair.

One thing I wasn’t sure in the picture was the material of the pouch. I wasn’t sure it was all mesh or the center panel was mesh. Well, I can say it’s all mesh but the side panels have more material. The center has no pouch. Those who hate center seams on pouches rejoice, this one was purposefully made without one.

I wore this to work when I knew there would be a lot of physical activity. I wanted to sorta put it through its paces. The pouch occasional rubbed me the wrong way. But, that’s this material and how it reacts to me at times. It just takes a little adjustment and it’s back to feeling good. I’m not sure I would wear this to work out. It would def draw looks in the locker room!

The fabric for this pair was very similar to the Load Brief. It was well made and actually kept me cool all day. Fabric composition of the pair isn’t listed on the site, well that I could find. The front is a sports mesh type material. The pouch has a full frontal bulge pouch. This pouch will give you ample support throughout the day.

The sizing is something you need to look at the sizing charts. This pair fits me pretty well. I had no complaints. It’s always important to look at the sizing chart. 4 Hunks has one that doesn’t go to full sizes. It’s VERY important to check it out. The XL I got fit pretty well.

I really loved this pair. The mix of athletic and fetish makes it super sexy. You can pair this with one of their harnesses and go full on fetish. Or you can rock it under a pair of jeans or even a suit. It’s up to you to wear to the gym! If you’re a guy who doesn’t want to draw attention to yourself, don’t wear it. If you don’t mind the attention, well then rock on!

I purchased a Petit –Q Lace Thong Ornex Green for review

Rating: 7/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 6/10
  • Sizing: 6/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 6/10

Pros:

  • The styling
  • The color
  • The lace fabric

Cons:

  • The pouch size is too small
  • The lack of a form-fitting pouch
  • The strap connecting front to back is way too long

UNB Ryan recommendation: I thoroughly enjoyed trying the new thong line by Petit-Q and will be back in the future to try out some of their new styles. I really like the way the color of the lace stands out against my skin tone and the fact it is visibly see through for quite the surprise under your pants. I also like the dual strap design which isn’t seen too often in male underwear.

I ordered a pair of Petit-Q’s Lace Thong Ornex in Neon Green Lace because I was intrigued by the style and fabric pairing. This pair has a dual strap design that forms a thong rear that sits high on your booty and connects to a full coverage front. This was the first pair of Petit-Q that I purchased. I’ve been a long time stalker of the brand and their unique styles, but have been hesitant to purchase, as I wasn’t familiar with the brand. As I haven’t tried anything by them before, I don’t have a benchmark to compare them to, so I’ll have to just share my thoughts on these alone for now. I looked forward to this pair arriving in the mail as soon as I clicked the order button on the Petit-Q website. As I am an avid thong wearer, this pair wasn’t out of my realm at all and I felt it would be right up my alley.

I honestly didn’t do a whole lot while wearing this pair. I have worn around the house as loungewear, and under my slacks to work a couple of times, otherwise, I haven’t done anything very active in them. Once you get them pulled up and situated this pair feels very sexy due to the cut and lace construction. The dual strap design adds to the excitement I felt before and after pulling them on. While wearing them the only complaints I had was the way the strap connecting the front to rear is about an inch too long, and the pouch is a bit undersized and not as stretchy as I am accustomed to.

Petit-Q has done an outstanding job both designing and constructing this suit. The craftsmanship is world class and they have lived up to the expectation of quality I expected from a company of their stature. I was unable to see any shortcomings with the way this pair was put together. The fabric they chose for this pair is a brilliant neon green lace that is sure to stand out on any skin tone, and looks great with the dual straps that wrap around to the thong rear which leaves little to the imagination. And this is one of their more modest suits!

I bought the Thong Lace Ornex Green in a size small. Compared to industry standards, it is in line with most other size small underwear in the waist sizing. However, you need to be aware that they are a much higher cut than most men’s thongs, and will peek above your pants if you’re not careful. Also, the pouch is not very roomy (and I’m a modest average size down there) and is also connected fairly high on the front side. Your package will be pulled flat against your body rather than pushed out front like it is in a bulge pouch design.

In my opinion, this is a very well constructed thong that feels most at home in the bedroom. I would not want to wear this to the gym or for a run around the block because it was clearly designed to be lounge or sexy time wear. That being said, if this thong fits your description of a new, sexy style from an innovative designer, you will love this pair. Give Petit-Q a try whether it is with this pair or another of their offerings and you will not be disappointed!

4-Hunks furnished the Load Brief for review.  All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by (brand).

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

  • A great mix of fetish and regular pair.
  • Fits great and gives great support
  • Super fun design

Cons

  • Note if you have issues with some mesh it may rub you the wrong way
  • May not be a work pair if you have to show undies

UNB Tim recommendation: It’s a great mix of a traditional pair and fetish. You can wear to work under jeans or a suit. Then head out for a fun night at the bar or home with a harness. It’s a great pair that I really enjoyed and plan to wear a lo tmore

This is my first pair of 4 Hunks for a review. This won’t be my last either, I have a few different things to try out. I’m super excited because I love their style that is a mix of regular underwear and fetishwear! The brief I am reviewing is the Load Brief. This brief is a mesh brief. I have some issues with mesh briefs. Some of the fabrics feel like a cheese grater on my business. It’s not a design or brand but the mesh and me. I usually have to adjust and it’s fine.

Unfortunately, this happened with this pair. But it was something I expected and prepared for, so it wasn’t an issue and I didn’t take off for that in my overall review. I wore this pair to work on a regular day. I didn’t do anything too athletic or working out. I really liked the fit and feel of the pair. The mesh was stretchy and gave great coverage. It was even more so than I expected.

The look of the pair is super sexy. You can wear it just as is with jeans or a suit. I think it would be awesome under a suit. Pair this with their harness and it’s total fetish pair. The sports mesh harness would be ideal but any of their harnesses will make a great partner. I like pairs that can be fetish or regular underwear!

The sizing surprised me. I was expecting it to be smaller than it was. The size received was an XL. On the 4 Hunks size chart that fits 41-42 inch waist. They have an odd size chart but for the most part, it’s pretty standard. The medium is a 31.5-33.4 inches. Just double check the size chart before you buy!

GREGG HOMME REEF SWIM THONG

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 7/10

Pros:

  • Love the construction- Are there beaches in Canada I don’t know about? Because Gregg Homme just nails the construction of this swimsuit. Great lining on the pouch smooths and refines your man bumps, and the material is exceptionally durable. Will survive salt water and chlorine adventures for a long time!
  • Refined sexy styling- If Sherlock Hommes (pun intended) wore thongs, this would be his first choice. The black and grey version is sophisticatedly masculine, daring, and sexy. The GH tab with drawstrings bring together the sexy, refined look! If you want wilder colors, the orange and turquoise pair bring your vibrant and sexy appeal to a new level.
  • Back Strap- Simply yet sexy. Sometimes less is more, and this T Back strap is so comfortable. Just enough fabric to show class in thong terms, but not too little to feel like you are being split in half. Excellent comfort.

Cons:

  • Pouch size- Unfortunately this is what brings this suit down from perfection. The pouch itself with lining is at a specifically designed size; once you reach that size, your goods will be forced to comply or simply bust out. Larger guys-Be careful!
  • Color options- I feel like the contrasting design really could be taken advantage of with more color options say a blue, red, or even a green? It’s such a great design only to 3 colors.
  • Sizing- Runs smallish, I got myself a medium, and I am 33-34 waist, and it was a little tight, but if I got the large it might be too big!

UNB Shawn Recommendations

Gregg Homme is pricey, but you get what you pay for. This swim thong is no joke. It was constructed to last the harsh environments of the sun and water. This was my first swim thong because the styling and construction seemed like a good investment; it was. Just like their underwear, the swim thong will not disappoint with the reputation of quality Gregg Homme consistently delivers.

This thong as seen the beaches from west coast to east coast on me, and I would say I felt fairly regal for a thong wearer on the beach. I own the black and grey version, and it seems less attention drawing than the vibrant other colors. It fits my style. I wore my thong for ME, not gawkers. The straps narrow enough to move up and down your hips to manage those thong tans lines if that is your persuasion.

Fabric and construction are outstanding- truly top notch. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, the pouch size became a concern for me. I do have to squeeze in there. I love these thongs, but they are not made for larger sized guys, their design size for the pouch was simply smaller than I. For me, there is enough room for me to contort and adjust to fit the pouch evenly, but barely. When active or lying out, I am semi-regularly managing the pouch to ensure coverage.

Sizing runs a little small. I would say it is similar to the sizing of Gregg Homme underwear, but this thong design is petit. I am 6 foot 185, athletic, 34 waist, and medium seem about the best fit for me, but a little tight, large may be a little loose around the hips. Just my two cents.

Overall a great piece of clothing to buy, and an even better first swim thong. Go big or go home with Gregg Homme, you will not be disappointed.
