Bone Wear is a brand we have been covering for a few years now. I think since we pretty much started the blog. They have been a company out of South Africa that has grown and done some really cool undies. They just released a new jock and continue to grow. Now they are in the US at UnderBriefs. Jockstrap Central‘s most popular mesh jockstrap disappeared from their site a while ago, but due to all the requests to bring them back, they performed a little JCPR (Jockstrap Central Pulse Resuscitation) and now they have not only been revived but they’ve brought them in a couple of new colors.
The original Pulse Mesh Jock is not only the hottest mesh jock ever, but perhaps the most comfortable as well. It’s completely see-through and made with a super soft four-way stretch nylon mesh in case something comes up! In fact, when you first see the little pouch you’ll wonder how you will get you boys in there but trust us, these jockstraps will “stretch” and grow along with your excitement level.
As expected, Jockstrap Central has given the Pulse jocks the JSC treatment. No mannequins or blurred naughty bits for them, they’ve got their most “out there” model Stefano showing off the jockstraps in all their glory.

I am back from Magic/Curve and I must admit it’s a great time but it wears you out. I know you are saying “you go talk to underwear makers/designers and see underwear models, what’s so hard about that?” Well, the amount of walking in Las Vegas is mind blowing. I am always worn out after the shows.
One thing I really noticed was jocks. I have seen them around but they seem to be a lot more prevalent this year. Most of the collections I saw had at least one jock if not more. There seems to be a rebirth going on for the jock.
Collections where I saw jocks are:
These are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. Jocks are no longer the Bike #10 traditional jock. They are made out of mesh, spandex and sometimes lace. Jocks also have lace up pouches (like shoes), more then one strap and cross between briefs and jocks. If you had asked me a few years ago if you could improve on the jock, I would never have guessed all the innovations designers have come up with.
Then you have companies that have built businesses on jockstraps. The two that come to mind are Jockstrap Central and McKillop U/W. Jockstrap Central is your main store for anything jock related. You name it they will probably have it in jocks. Last year they scored the extremely hard to get Bike #10. They wouldn’t tell me how they did it but I know it wasn’t easy! Second, McKillop U/W has done some amazing work in designing new and great fitting jocks. They have color, an amazing pouch and even new materials. They are doing some great work and if you love jocks I say you try them.
This week alone we saw the release of two new jocks. The first was from Bone Wear and the second was from Pipe. It seems each week we see more and more jocks. That is the reason I pushed this post back to Friday. I was going to post it on Wed but the release of two jocks in one week kind of made my point.

This is the week for jocks! I was already going to post about jocks this week but waited till I did the post yesterday and today on Pipe!

I got the chance to talk to Boy Rio at Curve. They are a really great company. I posted a few weeks ago the new jock they have. It’s called the Boy Rio Xtreme Jock. You saw it from the front but this is the back. It has a double strap in the back. A very interesting design for a jock.

Hey guys. I’m back and recovering from the trip to Vegas for both shows! It was a little smaller then the past ones I have been too, but it was still a great trip. I met with a lot of brands and saw all the new collections coming out. They inlcude, Andrew Christian, Baskit, Joe Snyder, Gigo, Gregg Homme, Boy Rio, Frank Dandy, JM, Junkunder Jeans, Cleaver, Unico and more.
We do have more videos we will be editing and putting out this week. They will be posted here on the site and on our YouTube channel. They were fun to do and we hope you enjoy them as much as the ones we did in August.
