Silk and lace are two materials that guys are loving. One brand that I saw on Instagram, which has been a hot bed for discovering new brands, is SULIS. Their silk designs really spoke to me and I knew that I had to cover the brand. Before I could even reach out they emailed us this about their brand. British manufacturer Sulis use fine silk satins and high-quality lace to make unique boxers and briefs for men who desire more from their underwear.
Underwear for men isn’t boring anymore. It’s easier than ever to find something more comfortable, practical and sexy than the traditional cotton Y-fronts or loose shorts. Sulis bring lace and silk to the table, to create pieces that are exciting, elegant and comfortable.
The collection started with the silk lace touch brief, launched in 2016. A simple and comfortable “seamless-front” design in black or sable overlaid with a dramatic and robust baroque-inspired embroidered lace.
Director Duncan Faulkner says: “We thought it looked great, but it was an experiment really. The feedback from our customers has been really positive, so we have expanded the collection for this season.”
The latest designs of pure silk briefs are created from a rich palette of cranberry, navy, sable or purple. Luxurious panels of semi-sheer lace allow teasing glimpses of the skin beneath.
The collection also includes the stretch lace sided boxer. A supportive fitted boxer brief with a front and full seat in storm grey stretch silk satin (91% silk, 9% elastane) and legs made with a matching soft stretch lace.
All the collections are designed and made at the independent company’s studios near Bath, England and are available in sizes S to XXL.

We are excitedly waiting for the new Gregg Homme line. I think you guys are going to love it as much as their previous lines. But enjoy Callum Winsor in a previous campaign until we get the new gear.
4 Hunks is introducing their very first thong! The company known for jocks and sports-inspired gear designed their first super fun thong. It’s called the Swing Thong. As you can see from the picture it has an ample pouch designed to fit the guys who need a bit more room in the front. In fact, they say “This is the perfect Thong to show off and tease guys with your massive tool!”
We got a chance to ask them about this thong:
I wanted to design a piece that really gives an impression. For that, I thought I need to give a good push from the bottom. So I constructed the pouch pattern upside down. Starting from the bottom to the top. It pushes everything to the top and front. I feel like it’s my duty to improve underwear.
When asked about this design, they told us they thought they could make the design of a thong more manly and sexy. I will say that they achieved this pairing. It’s a pair you can wear and show off in at the same time. I think they took on this challenge and succeded in making it pretty awesome.
As I have said 4 Hunks mixes some of my favorite things. Sportswear, spandex, underwear, and fetishwear. They called the mash up Sportishwear. Which I think is the appropriate terminology for their gear! This new thong is a great addition to their line up. You can also wear it with their harnesses and other gear.
If a pouch is important to you in a thong this is a must-have pair for you. It’s the first of many thongs I hope we will see from 4 Hunks. Each time they produce something new I am impressed!

I’ve been a bit on the busy side lately and just recently got back to check out what is new at aussieBum. To my surprise, they’ve added two new lines with thongs in it. This is the first I’ve seen a thong from them, but I’ve been told they did offer them before. I’m a fan of the no elastic waistband so both of these appeal to me. Both thongs have a fairly sleek look. The two lines with thongs are the Skin Nude and CU. The lines also have what they call the exposed brief too.
The Skin Nude line comes in the colors skin (probably could call it nude) and black. Here’s what aussieBum say about the Skin Nude line “Comfort comes as standard with a silky smooth second skin feels.” The thong is a pretty traditional looking cut with fairly narrow looking sides. The exposed brief has the regular centered seamed pouch, but the thong has a bit different stitching. The bottom two-thirds has the typical centered seam pouch look then the top is stitched horizontal on to it. The picture shows it better than I can describe it. This line is made of 85% nylon and 15% elastance. They can be machine washed cold, but should be hung to dry.
The CU line was inspired by the Skin one. It is a limited edition line, so get them before they are gone. The thong and exposed brief are made of a blend of 90% nylon and 10% lycra or could be 85% nylon and 15% lycra. They state it differently in the description and garment care. This line mentions hand washing but does say gentle wash cold too. Does need to be hung to dry. The CU line is available in the traditional colors of white or black.
It’s nice to see them giving an option to the thong wearers to their line. Hopefully, they can keep them around and add more to their offering.

UNB Tim recommendation: If you’re looking for a super fun bodysuit this is it. This pair is made for fun and is super playful. If you’re tall you may have an issue but everyone should buy fun gear!
It’s no secret that I love singlets and bodysuits. I have loved them since I was in my teens. I didn’t get my first singlet till I was about 18 or 19. After that, I had to have more and more. Currently, in my collection, I have about 25-30 singlets. I haven’t really counted lately. After covering the Tigerheat Bodysuit I got a chance to get one and review it for you guys.
The first thing I noticed was the fabric. It’s not as thick as I thought it would be, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s a cotton fabric with spandex that feels great. If you did wear it to work out in it, I think it would be a great fabric. The next thing I noticed was being 6’4″ not all singlets are made for us tall guys. It took me a few mins to adjust and get it on. The high cut sides and thong back were something I had to get used too. The normal singlet I have has somewhat of a leg or a brief cut at the bottom.
I didn’t wear this pair to work or anywhere. Or for that matter for anyone, I just wore it to relax around the house one Saturday. I could see this pair used in more “playful activities” very easily. It’s super sexy in the design. Some of the gear I have is designed for working out and sport, while others like this is designed simply for fun. That fun can be in and out of bed!
The sizing for this pair is easy, one size fits all! Again if you’re tall like me it will be a bit of a stretch to get in. That’s the downside of the one size fits all! I’m also hoping that once I work out more and get in better shape it will fit me much better as well. Fingers crossed on that one!

One thing about Andrew Christian that I don’t like is if you snooze you lose. Meaning, for the limited edition pairs, if you don’t buy it when they first came out you can miss out. It’s Thong Thursday! I wanted to pick something super fun for this week’s Thong Thursday and chose the Bruno Menswear MNXO Thong! It’s part of the MNXO Line that we have profiled before. Bruno has a really fun design sense that uses skimpy styles and cut outs to show off all a man has to show!
The first thing you notice is the colors. Yes, it’s the colors of the Mexican flag. The MNXO line celebrates their home country of Mexico. The next is the design. The pouch has two cut outs on the side. This design is skimpy and fun just like a lot of their designs! It’s just super fun. The brand makes underwear fun! They aren’t afraid to take risks.
The back has more of a g string back rather than a T back. I know with many readers this is a very important design feature. Personally, I love this back in a thong. I think it personally fits better than a t back. If you love this kind of back this pair is one that should be in your drawer.
Their site is in Spanish and unfortunately, I don’t speak/read it. But, they make underwear that shows off the bulge and back. It’s great to have companies like Bruno Menswear in the underwear market. We need more companies that will produce sexy undies that make guys feel amazing.

We are going WAY back for this walk down memory lane. If you are a long time reader of the blog you may recognize this brand. If you’re a new reader you may have no clue. It was a brand we worked with a lot back in the day called Sweat. They always had amazing pics and were a fun brand. This picture was from May 2009.
I wrote about a week ago is the jock going away. I think we know it’s not! The jock is evolving and changing in the years since I started UNB. It’s gone from athletics and fetish to Fashion. One more evolution of the jock is lace. You heard me right lace! Men’s lace was a trend but I think it’s here to stay in one way or another. It’s the further mixing of masculine and feminine.One company that isn’t shy about using lace in its designs is Candyman Fashion. They have used it in many forms over the years. This time they created a jock brief made out of lace. Unlike other pairs of lace the pouch in this pair is solid and around the back is the lace. To me, this pair is really sexy. I know it’s not for everyone, but if you have wanted to try lace, I say do it now!
I love the color as well. It’s not a typical color in men’s underwear. The burgundy has a touch of the feminine side. I will admit I would love to see this in a blue or a red. Something bright that brings attention. Because let’s face it if you’re wearing this pair you want to be noticed. This isn’t one pair you want to hide. You wear it for a specific person or time.

It’s Jockstrap Wednesday! One brand to check out for awesome jocks is Rufskin. They have been making them for years and always put their innovative twist on them.
We all can’t be an underwear supermodel all the time. We go through phases where we put on weight and look at ourselves in the mirror and go “I just can’t today.’ We hate what we see in the mirror. The underwear doesn’t even look like the pair we bought. It’s like someone broke in and switched out all of your underwear for a few sizes too small. Sometimes we wear it anyway and other times we just put on something quick.
So what do you do when you don’t feel your best either short or long term? I am going through that now and want to share some wisdom with you guys.
You have the power to change it
If you are able and healthy, you have the power to change both your physical and mental well being. Sometimes its short-term like holiday pounds and other times it revolves around just getting through life. You have to buckle down and do what is important to you. I personally have reached the point in my life, I want to change things. I weigh probably the most I have ever weighed and it sucks. I had a lot going on and didn’t want to deal with what was in the mirror. But, it doesn’t go away. I had to realize I needed to change.
Here is my plan:
- Visited a nutritionist – found out everything I liked to eat was bad for me and got some ideas for eating better
- Track Calories – I”m tracking what I eat. I’m the kind of person if I don’t I’ll go yeah I can eat that and finally figure I ate like 5,000 calories later.
- Start exercising – I’m still not doing this year but I’m starting with low impact and working my way up. I never really worked out so it can be intimidating to go in and figure out what the hell to do.
- Reaffirm your self-worth – Just tell yourself that you are working on change and not to internalize the feelings. Depending on who you are this could be harder to do.
Talk to friends about your issues
I think a lot of times we fall off the wagon with anything, not just weight. We have a lot of other issues we don’t want to deal with at all. Mine dealt with a few health issues (nothing serious), money, and career. I opened up to friends and told them everything I was feeling. It made me feel better and I didn’t turn to food or drinking to solve those problems. Let me say that depending on your issue you may not be able to talk to friends but turn to someone. Issues about health (serious issues), sexuality, and gender identity you may need to seek out someone who has been where you are at now.
Push Through Bad Times
I never have anything go to plan. It’s just a fact of life that something will go wrong and there will be setbacks. You just have to push through and keep going. Its hard as hell sometimes, but if you want to accomplish anything you have to keep the momentum going. And don’t punish yourself if you fall off the wagon. Just get up and keep doing what you are doing. If you give up all your hard work will be for nothing. There are many times I ate something and was like “Hell, fuck it now, let’s eat these cookies.”
Reward Yourself for accomplishing goals
I’m the kind of person I need a carrot along the way. I set goals along the way and set up rewards. It could be eating something I really love or doing something. Celebrate the journey. If I have one giant goal, I get more frustrated about reaching it. However, if it set up smaller goals along the way. It will make you feel like you are accomplishing what you set your mind too.
This may all sound “Pollyanna” and Sunshine. Just know I’m one of the most “glass half empty” people you will ever meet. Even the glamorous life of an Underwear Blogger may not go to play (said sarcastically) I just rarely share really personal things and want to open up to you guys more. Thanks for reading guys!
