There is a new brand on the market I think you guys need to know about! The Brand is called Cosmos and is available at Bang+Strike. It’s a brand I haven’t heard of before. But its super fun and very fetish inspired! Bang+Strike says this about the brand “Channel your inner super hero or disco diva in this flash, slick underwear range by Cosmos that looks like it came off the set of the latest XMen film.  These tight stretch and low cut briefs have sheer panels, gold details and space age colours in unique panels that twist around your body. Horny and sexy for men that like to dress up and experiment with their underwear”

The current line is made up a lot of smaller cuts, black and mesh! So this would be great for a romantic night at Valentine’s day. Notice a theme today on UNB! But is a great line without being over the top. Some lines can be a little costumey while this one is sexy and not too crazy. For those who don’t like fetishwear they may not like it. But I think it’s a welcome addition. There are 8 pairs in the line currently:

comos gold link slipCosmos Gold Link Slip Brief – A bikini cut made out of a leather like material and gold chain sides

cosmos hero gold slipCosmos Super Hero Gold Stripe Brief – Looking for a really different cool pair? This pair is a bikini cut with a semi solid curved striped panel over the pouch giving an exaggerated appearance of a cod piece

cosmos leather look jockCosmos Black Leather Look Web Jock – A jock cut with interlocking strips. It maybe inspired by a jock but has a new take. Like the Gold Stripe Brief it has a gold stripe down the pouch made our of rubber like material.

cosmos black and gold micro briefCosmos Black and Gold Micro Brief – This is definitely a micro brief. Made with a solid pouch and gold trim on the legs and waist with a sheer back.

cosmos black and gold panel boxerCosmos Black and Gold Panelled Boxer – A boxer taken to the next level. It has a super small elastic waist with a full pouch and mesh around the sides and back. It is accented with gold trim.

cosmos purple and orange slipCosmos Sheer Purple and Orange Slip  – Similar cut to the micro brief but this has a solid orange back with a purple sheer pouch. Has gold accents on the legs, waistbands and down the center of the pouch

cosmos black and silver slipCosmos Black and Silver Micro Slip – A thong cut with an accenting pouch. Unlike the other pairs this has silver accents around the legs and waistband

cosmos-sheer-stretch-string-p23177-57486_mediumCosmos Sheer Stretch String – If a thong is not small enough they have a sheer stretch string. A pouch with silver accents in a g-string cut.

All of these are available at Bang+Strike. I hope you check them out and give a new brand a chance!

collections-scrimmage-1-2015011201C-IN2 has released the new line called Scrimmage. It gives me a very old school feel when I first looked at it. It really reminds me of the classic jock. Its like they took that great design and then updated it into a new line of undies. Which is awesome. I love when companies take something so classic and standard and put a new spin on it. Undies should be fun an innovative and C-IN2 did just that with the Scrimmage Line!

Where the undies I think have an old school jock inspired design, the shirts have a football inspired design. I know this because it’s listed on the C-IN2 webpage! I def can see that with the deep cut sides and mesh material. I think C-IN2 really outdid themselves on this line. They always make great undies but is really innovative and fun.

The collection consists of the Scrimmage Hustle Brief, Jockstrap, Lowest Punt, Lift Tank, Tackle Gear Crew and theTackle Gear Long Arm. The colors available for the underwear are Appalachian Grey, Michigan Blue and Moss. The shirts are available in the same colors except the Lift Tank which is just the Grey and Blue. The Scrimmage line is made out of 100% polyester.

cin2 scrimmage brief

The Scrimmage Hustle Brief has a definite jock feel to them. So if you want a jock but with more coverage in the back this is the brief for you. The pouch and back are made from a sports mesh material. The wide elastic waistband is also the leg openings as well. This pair retails for $28

cin2 scrimmage jock

The Scrimmage Jock is the same as the Brief but without the back panel. I will say this is a very retro and sexy jock. Its waistband is not the traditional 3 inch is but it still has that old school feel. The label right in the front is a great touch. Made with the same sports mesh as the brief. Retails for $24

cin2 scrimmage puntThe Scrimmage Lowest Punt is for the trunk fans. If you like a bit more coverage the Punt is a low rise trunk that is made out of the same material an has the same waistband as the brief and jock. The sports mesh makes this pair super sexy as well. Retails for $28

cin2 scrimmage lift tankThe Scrimmage Lift Tank is very old school This is the one inspired by old football gear. Its very low cut sides and perfect for the gym or any sporting event you maybe participating in. This and the other shirts have interesting acronyms on the back. Retails for $24

cin2 scrimmage crewThe Scrimmage Tackle Gear Crew you can definitely see the football influence. Its based on a football jersey. Which makes this a very fun shirt to wear. Its a bit more form fitting than a traditional jersey due to you won’t be wearing it under pads. Retails for $28

cin2 scrimmage strong arm tankThe Scrimmage Tackle Gear Long Arm is a similar cut to the Tackle Gear Crew. This shirt has one exception no sleeves. Many of our readers do like a sleeveless shirt for working out and hanging out. Its the same materials and cut as the Crew. Retails for $24

I hope you check out this new line I think it’s one of the best new lines so far this year. Find it at the C-IN2 website.

E023-BLK-FHello all, today I will be reviewing the Envy Microfiber Boxer. On the box is states its “European Styling” and I found this statement very intriguing. The material is semi transparent and I have never had underwear like this. The material is striped and the light portion of the stripe is the see through part.

The construction of the Envy Boxers is very well done. The seams, choice of material and overall execution was superb. The elastic in the waist and legs are a great quality and the material is sturdy and really fun and stylish.

When I first them on I thought Envy Microfiber Boxer were fun, and I soon learned what is meant by “European Styling”, I think it means small and skimpy. Not to be bragging but I have a nice sized butt and other things that go into underwear, but these boxers were tiny. The material does have give to it but it didn’t give enough.

As I do with all my reviews I wore them to work. The waist and leg openings were snug but not too tight, so that was comfy, but the overall cut and the seam up the butt of the underwear were uncomfortable to me. Throughout the day I found myself having to adjust the underwear and myself. The comfort was not what I was hoping for or excepting.

I realized that the Envy Microfiber Boxers underwear are not your everyday underwear, but great for those special occasions or dates, but not ideal for daily wear, unless your European.

The underwear is a size Small/Medium 28-32” waist. Like I stated the waist and the leg openings fit well, but the body was a little on the skimpy side for my personal comfort.

Pros:

  • Fun material
  • Great pattern/ stripes
  • The legs and waist openings fit nicely
  • The material allows plenty of ventilation

Cons:

  • The European Styling is too skimpy for me
  • The seam up the butt takes some getting used to

Ratings:

  • Daily fit – 8
  • Sizing – 9
  • Construction/Material – 10
  • Styling – 8
  • Daily Performance – 8
  • Overall – 8.6

The Envy Microfiber Boxer is the ideal underwear for date night or that special person to see and enjoy. If you are European or slender or with a swimmers build these underwear are perfectly suited for your body type. Envy Menswear furnished this pair for review.

L14-14-FullI am so excited to be writing this review. I am reviewing the N2N Lounge Onezee. I have always loved loungewear and This Onezee is the ultimate in fun and sexy loungewear.

The material is a perfect blend of 95% Rayon 5% spandex. It is soft and sensual and so amazingly comfy. The design is a perfect mix of classic styling and modern sex appeal.

When I first put it on I was beyond impressed. The short legs and jersey length arms are the perfect compromise between being too long and too short. The button up front is fun, stylish and really comfortable. Of course the fit is tight, but not overly tight or binding.

The N2N Onezee if the ideal lounge outfit on a cool night. I have enjoyed my Onezee several times and I absolutely love it. I was so pleased with it I went and purchased one for my best friend, and he loves it as well.

I truly recommend the N2N Onezee to everyone who enjoys relaxing in comfy and sex loungewear. N2N has an extensive loungewear line so your choices are vast and you wont be let down no matter what you choose.

Pros:

  • Awesome material and construction.
  • Great cut and style.
  • Comfortable, perfect for lounging around the house.
  • Very sexy cut, fit and look.

Cons:

  • I honestly do not have a “con” to mention

Ratings:

  • Daily fit – 10
  • Sizing – 10
  • Construction/Material – 10
  • Styling – 10
  • Daily Performance – 10
  • Overall – 10

UNB Model Profile featuring Topher La Fleur

10505054_877188528976621_2945074212041954959_o

The Underwear News Briefs model profiles continue as Topher La Fleur sits down with us and shares some of his portfolio and personality.

UNBKyle:  What was your first modeling gig and how did you come to get it?

Topher:  The first show I ever walked in was Mona Lucero F/W 2010. It was a very fun experience, partly because Mona is such an original and creative designer. Working for someone with a vision is always satisfying, and Mona is full of creative vision. Truthfully I can’t remember how I landed that show. I’m sure the friend of a friend told someone to tell me to meet Mona, but all of that is history now.

WInningselfieKyle:  What made you want to pursue modeling?

Topher:  I’m a very naturally outgoing person. I’ve always had a flair for excitement and high drama. In adulthood, that tendency sort of evolved with my body. I’ve always pursued a physically strong body, and modeling became an excellent venue for me. I get to share my passions with enthusiasts all over the world now.

Kyle:  Which shoot do you consider your breakthrough in your career?

Topher:  Ironically, it wasn’t actually a “shoot” but rather, “The selfie heard ’round the world.” I entered a selfie contest hosted by XVII Underwear in Houston and won that competition. The timing was nearly perfect, as I had recently achieved one of my fitness goals (weighing in at more than 200lbs). My friends and I still laugh about that particular selfie, but it helped me make my name and I don’t make a habit of regretting anything.

Kyle:  What a great story!  Such a fun way to start your adventure.  Which shoot has been your favorite? Why?Screen Shot 2015-01-11 at 10.17.35 PM

Topher:  I am very grateful to Out Front Magazine in Denver, who I actually work for now. They covered a lot of my progress with the competition in 2014, and that summer I was invited to be their August cover model. It was quite exciting. Jay Diers (the photographer) and I went up to a very popular tourist attraction in Denver called Red Rocks Amphitheatre. It’s a really striking natural environment–very dramatic red rocks and scrub oak against an expansive blue sky. Of course, there are lots of people in the park as well. In that setting, I stripped down to my tiny briefs and we got to work. The entire time people were passing by in cars. Mothers were admonishing their children. It was a riot.

Kyle:  Sounds like it!  Which shoot has been your most challenging? Why?

Topher:  I spent a week filming with some very lovely drag queens from Los Angeles, but it was a very rigorous environment. The only things to eat on set were M&M’s, pizza, and energy drinks, which isn’t my normal on-season diet (by any measure). It was also unseasonably wet and cold that week, and we had spent hours and hours in these very, very small jockstraps. There were four of us models on set, all running amuck in our jockstraps, and I think by the end of the week we were all sick and very tired. That said, it was worth it to work with such an excellent calibre of people, and to experience the film world. It’s a very rigorous world–you’ll film for five or ten minutes and then everyone has to change their outfits and set the scene for two hours. I found new respect for actors and actresses. There also isn’t much to do on set. I think the next time I film I’ll bring a good novel to read.
You can watch the antics here.

Kyle:  Yes, that does not sound like the typical diet.  Are there any brands or photographers you would like to work with that you have not worked with yet?

Topher:  I’ve had the good fortune of working for brands large and small, but in 2015 I’m hoping to travel much more and make many more connections than last year. Alick Alexander in the UK has caught my eye, as well as Good Men Wear in Tokyo. Both brands are very fun and playful, kind of naughty in an innocent sort of way. I’m also quite into the aggressive sports imagery of Papi and Timoteo. To work for their outfits would be a dream. I’ve put a lot of time and effort into fitness this year and I think that the imagery we’ll get back in 2015 will reflect that. I’m still beefing up for the upcoming season and I’ve surprised myself a lot along the way.

10583801_873615659333908_6647235164027300521_n

Kyle:  What is something that your fans don’t know about you outside of modeling that you want them to know?

Topher:  I think everyone should know that models and bodybuilders are highly intelligent people. The science of fitness and dieting is very difficult. Many people are also quite surprised by my approachability, but I think the perception of the media is that models and athletes, entertainers of any kind really, are unapproachable. That’s simply not true. Some of the nicest people I’ve met are other models and entertainers.
I think it’s also very important to realize that my ambition has taken me this far in the world, but I could never have undertaken this journey alone. An army of people assist me day-to-day, more so on-season than off. I have a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, a sports masseuse, cosmetic dentist, dermatologist, several stylists and brand sponsors who keep me looking on-point, and dozens of small-business owners who sponsor my adventures. Of course, my partner is also my personal trainer, and whenever I have a question about the science of a move or a meal, we dig in and do the research together. From start to finish it literally takes a village of people to get this show on the road.

Kyle:  It’s good to give thanks to those who have helped you brand yourself.  What kind of diet and exercise do you do to prepare for shoots?

Topher:  There’s a lot to know about fitness and nutrition, and how to harness both to look your best. For the sake of brevity, I don’t think I can go into very much detail. That said, I’m highly interested in the science of again. I eat to look good, but I’m also equally interested in living forever and ever. I’d say my nutrition supports that goal. We supplement quite religiously in my house, both for performance and physique. On-season, I rarely eat before a photoshoot. The night before you’ll see me scarfing carb-heavy meals, but the day of, I’m very conservative. It’s usually lemon water or nothing, which is one reason I almost always book in the morning or early afternoon. By the end of a long day all I want is a pizza and a cocktail. Which reminds me, I don’t usually drink on season. I’m very restrictive with any sugar on-season, but especially liquor. Off-season, I’m on the see-food diet. If I have spotted it, and it is smaller than a washing machine, it’s likely going in my mouth. Finally, I’ve been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for nearly 13 years. That aspect confounds a lot of people, but I don’t get hung up on it very often. People ask me (with ridiculous frequency), “Where does your protein come from?” I usually have to explain to them that I enjoy more protein in a day than many people enjoy in a week.

One of the biggest complaints I have heard about Joe Snyder underwear is that the pouch is too small. I too have experienced this and have to be careful which styles I buy. The newest collection is call the MaxiBulge collection. Which has a bigger pouch and allows you show off what you have in the great Joe Snyder colors.

Here is what Joe Snyder says to say “The front pouch enhances the look of your package thanks to its cupping action that gently lifts you upwards and outwards for a noticable bulge.” Also in the pouch is a c-ring that helps enhance your bulge and push it out.

I will say the picture of the pouch looks amazing. Being a guy who needs more room in front I am looking forward to trying this. As I said above I have tired some pairs of Joe Snyder and it just didn’t fit. And when I talk to guys who email and on social a lot agree. Starting with the Pride Frame line Joe Snyder has been paying attention to their customers and giving them more options. Which is awesome. The pairs of Joe Snyder I own I love. The quality is amazing and the fit is great.

We are just profiling the bikini in this post but the Maxibulge is available in a Kini, Cheek, Clip and Capri. The Kini is a super small bikini with string sides. The Clip is similar to the cut we show here but has a clip on the side. The Cheek is a boxer cut that gives you a bit of the cheek. Lastly is the Capri which is a thong cut.

Colors are one thing I LOVE about Joe Sndyer. They are never one for dull and boring colors. The colors are always bright and fun. The purple, red and blues are always a personal favorite. The colors for this line are: White, Black, Red, Royal, Turquoise, Yellow, Navy, Wine, Pink, Purple, White Mesh, White Lace, Black Mesh,Black Lace. These are all pretty much staples in the Joe Snyder line. Its also made out of Polyamide 80% Spandex 20% blend.

If you are interested check out the new line. Its in retail stores now or you can find it at the Joe Snyder site.

IMG_7937_6772We love getting pictures from Adrian C. Martin. He’s common strong in the men’s underwear and swimwear market. Here is what he says about this shoot. “This is the work I did with model Carlos Guillén and Croota Underwear.  Carlos is a young model and surfer from the Canary Islands.”

2eros-coast-rangeAre you a fan of 2EROS? If you are or want to try them the new Coast collection is perfect for you. The one thing I love about 2EROS is they make simple, yet elegant underwear. They don’t do many crazy things with styles. They keep it simple and have amazing colors.

2EROS has an amazing color palette. They use many different colors you wouldn’t think of for underwear. This collection falls in that category. They have Sand, a yellow, and Aqua. Each color is a distinct 2EROS version of the color. How Jason does it over there just amazes me big time. Here is how 2EROS describes the pair: “The colour combination is of coastal comfort. The tan contrast placed between to the legs gives the illusion of exposed skin but keeping you covered.”

The Coast Collection has three different styles. They are the trunk, brief and jock. These all have the great 2EROS branded waistband. Made out of a Modal blend so you know it’s going to feel amazing against your skin. Modal has become the “it” fabric of the underwear world and I couldn’t be happier. It’s my favorite material for underwear.

So if you need to try some new undies then head over to 2EROS and check them out!

Here are some great pairs to spice up your work undies. You can find these at many online retailers or at Candyman Fashions.

We all love underwear and the guys here at UNB are some of the biggest underwear lovers around. So I asked the guys which brands/pairs they wanted to try in 2015. You may think we have tried it all but there are so many brands out there I don’t think we could possibly try them all. So here are some from the guys and what they want in 2015

1381738_10151657003625780_1934276232_nUNB Bryce – Being a fan of underwear there are always brands I have yet to try. In 2015 one brand I would love to try out is Stonemen. It is based out of Australia and has some of the most unique prints I have seen on underwear. The underwear features artwork rather than just a print that is repeated. It is so unique. The way the pairs fit in the photos looks like they would be comfortable and supportive. So that is the one brand I am hoping to try out in 2015.

B81-AUNBATL Briefs – For years and years I always wore briefs.  Maybe a jock or two.  As my collection grew I started branching out.  In 2014 I really got into wearing thongs.  In 2015 I want to try some of the more erotic underwear that’s out there.  Both Cocksox and N2N have a great selection to pick from.   The Cocksox slingshot is so skimpy; I imagine it’s like wearing nothing at all.  And the N2N Titan Jock intrigues me; are those snaps really functional or more for the look?  Only way to find out is to try them both.

10393555_10152679359309597_6752042425904232449_n

UNB TMB – The reason I want to try Bjorn Borg underwear is threefold. First, the cut and style of their underwear seems like it would be comfortable. Two, the patterns and choice of colors are fun and exciting. Three, the combination if the cut and style and color and patterns make for very sexy and fun underwear.

2eros Icon BriefUNB Kyle – One of the biggest referrals for underwear is word of mouth.  We all want to experience that exceptional style and comfort and lean on our friends to give suggestions or feedback on what they have tried and love.  A friend suggested 2EROS which I have never tried and it immediately shot high up on my list.  The Icon brief is a brief that has simplistic yet outstanding visual appeal with contrasting colors, signature waistband and icon on the butt.  It also comes in low rise which is something I always look for in my briefs.

BodyAware Latex Brief PinkUNB Tim – I have been talking to a few guys on Twitter and want to step outside my box a little and get some more fetishwear pairs. One that has caught my eye is the BodyAware Latex Pouch Brief. I have never had any latex but the one thing that made me want this pair is that it’s available in PINK. I would take either the black or Pink but I have a weakness for pink. I think  BodyAware is an amazing company that does super fun pairs.

1619560_636118399844505_2548647321606595846_nYou may have seen the new brand called Thrust from McKillop. We got a chance to talk to Ryan and find out all about the brand. Here is the interview we did!

Can tell us about Thrust? Why create another line? How is it different form McKillop?
Thrust was created as an alter ego to our Mckillop brand, Mckillop was created as the utmost in sophistication and with that we set up a storyline that very conservative in nature over the past 5 years we thought about what to do next, we could have simply expanded our color scheme but then our original theme would have been lost. We also felt that the path Mckillop was on couldn’t get as “Dirty” as we wanted it to because of our name. Mckillop has a lot of amazing plans for the future and we wanted to keep that name out of the bedroom per say and with Thrust we intend on being a bit more raunchy. With that being said Thrust is also quickly (and I mean very quickly – in a matter of days) is already growing into its own storyline where we believe Thrust is not only going to be attracting a tawdry audience it is also going to target the real man. After being in this industry and being shown image after image of athletic perfection there is no one showcasing a realistic viewpoint of what real men look like and it is our goal to bring this change through Thrust.

Your email you sent out said it was a year in the making, What is the philosophy for the brand?
We actually started this I think 2 years ago now, it was an idea we had when we were still in Canada. But the past year is when we really committed to it. And quite frankly we needed our design studio to be up and running in Mexico before expanding into a new and more complicated color scheme. We spent all of December creating our first phase of designs and training everyone on a completely new direction [manufacturing wise]. The philosophy simply put is to be as different as possible from Mckillop and our competitors and to speak to a new audience in the language the understand instead of trying to fulfill an ideal that really is impossible.

Who is the line made for? Do you have a specific guy in mind?
The line is made for a more rustic man that is in tune with his sexuality and is not afraid to express himself. It is also for any man that is also in tune with our idea to depart from the plastic ideal of what is means to be a man. Perfection is over rated and we are making thrust for men that know who they are and don’t need an underwear box to tell them what they need to be like to be considered a man – or a part of the gay community

10402384_636168356506176_5027904952861980627_nCan you tell us about the three different line? The Command, Conquer and Triumph
Command is Thrusts signature collection – with just a sliver of mesh on the front it shows just enough to to turn curiosity into action. It comes in pouch, jock, brief and low boxer. Made of modal and mesh it is soft for daily wear and just the right amount of risque for the weekend.

Conquer is our modal and cotton line of everyday underwear, we have designed a Jock, Pouch, and 2 boxers in our signature colors black, white, red. Conquer takes the best cuts and fabrics and adds a little excitement with our colors.

Triumph is awesome , we have taken 2 things we love and put them together, We love the nylon fabric combination with the mesh and created a line that is daring but also leaves a little to the imagination with the solid covered pouch. We have also created 3 different pouches Grow, Show and Impress so the fit is totally customizable to your anatomy. In Triumph you will look and feel your best and no one ever needs to know what is below the waistband they will have to find out for themselves.  Triumph comes in briefs, jocks, pouches, and boxers in the 3 custom fronts.

What makes this different from other underwear on the market?
We find that the market is oversaturated with all of the same images and styles and we feel they are only communicating to one type of person, Thrust is here to communicate a very different story to a man that has been neglected for way too long. And to get a little dirty along the way.

Where can I readers find the brand?
Thrust is Now Open at www.Thrustmen.com – We are also opening with 2 massive deals $2.00 jocks while supplies last and 50% Off everything else until Jan 15th

Colorful prints are one of my new passions for underwear. There is one company that has taken the print and run with it, that brand is Discover. Its a relatively new brand that came on the market in August/September of last year. They just released the second collection. It’s a lot more prints and patterns. The previous collection was a mix of solids and prints.

These are lifestyle images of the current collection. You can see the product images at GDD World site. If you can’t find it at your Favorite Underwear retailer then go to Candyman Fashions to buy them!

1-8-15-1The new Trophy boy brief is out. I will say this is one of my favorite lines from Andrew Christian. This line is made for the guy who’s got a trophy to show off. It has a super large pouch and is a blessing or guys who need it. Each guy has different needs in underwear, some need  pouch, some need back coverage and the list goes on. Andrew Christian answered the endowed problem and has kept the line around!

Here is what Andrew Christian has to say about the pair: “The waistband features our signature Trophy Boy label with a pop of color and is soft to the touch as well giving the appearance of a smaller waistline. Bold colors with contrasting stitching and trim, will get you excited to put these on. This brief is very similar to our Almost Naked collection with more room in front, just where you need it. The anatomically correct brief features dual contrasting fashion detailed leg openings. When you pull them on it feels like You’re not wearing any underwear at all, your package falls naturally into the super soft snuggle pocket to create a truly enjoyable unique wearing experience. Virtually eliminates sticking, squashing, re-adjusting, sweating and chafing.”

The new colors available are heather and purple. This is a limited edition pair so it won’t be around long so you snooze you loose! Its available for $19.93 from the Andrew Christian site. Check it out if you are interested fast!
