BODY collection:

There’s a sign in our office that reads, “If you’ve got it, give it Baskit!”

Get your mind out of the gutter…when we talk about “it” around here, we mean a real zest for life – a desire to reject the norm and put yourself out there. But sometimes even the best of us need an attitude adjustment.

We need something that reminds us to accentuate the positive when we start our day.

Our X collection is that little nudge. It’s designed to put some of your best assets forward. So, slide into a pair of X, step in front of the mirror, and remember that you’ve got what it takes to make today count. X…your day starts here.

If you are reading this blog, I know you love underwear, swimwear, and gear (spandex and more). You are a guy who wants to find out what’s new, discover a community, and enjoy the world of undies to its fullest. Over the last 13 years, a lot has changed in the underwear world and at UNB! So we ask you to be an underwear supporter. There are three ways you can help. You can do all three or just one!

Share our podcast and blog with other undies lovers.

This is the simplest and easiest way to help us; it doesn’t cost anything. Just let your underwear friends know about the blog and podcast. You can do that by sharing a link on your social media and saying go check this out! Or, if you have a friend, ask them, “Hey have you heard the Brief Talk Podcast?” And if they say no, tell them about it—the more people who read and listen, the better.

Join our Patreon

If you want to help us with financial support, this is the best way to do it. You get some unique features, such as the advance release of the podcast and special editors’ desk podcasts just for the Patreon member. You can join for as little as $1 a month to get these features. I’m trying to figure out more perks for Patreon members, so I’m open to ideas! This money goes directly to help us produce the podcast (such as hosting, software, and equipment). You can join at the UNB Patreon Landing page.

Come on the podcast or share your story.

I have gone through; I think all of my undies friends to get them on the show. Now I”m trying to get more guys to come on the show. All guys have a story to tell because you will inspire someone listening by having a similar story or feel they are not alone. Not many guys, gay, straight, or bi, talk undies. I think we on the podcast are an outlier on the bell curve of undies. We talk undies all the time together. Coming on the podcast is super easy. I send out the questions ahead of time so you can look them over and come up with answers before we record. Then when we record, I try to make everyone not nervous cause it’s just a convo between two guys talking undies. Lastly, I will edit the podcast to make you sound your best. I do this by taking out any ums and other words used to fill space and any long silence. Lastly, we can record directly over the phone, so no special equipment or software is needed! I make it as simple as possible.

If you need more info just email me and let’s chat!!!

Swimwear season is in high gear; we just had our annual swim party/fundraiser Joining Hearts in Atlanta. Many of you have been to plenty of pool parties and have quite a few more to attend this season. It’s time to refresh the swim drawer. One brand you should consider is Aronik.

A classic black bikini is always a win with most guys. You can’t go wrong with it, and it also looks great on many skin tones. Plus, you don’t have to worry about matching with anything cause black goes with everything. This pair is the Perdition bikini and has a smaller cut than many other pairs offered by Aronik. It’s about a one-inch side and a full back. I think this is a great bikini for many of you brief lovers out here. I know the full-back is a criterion for many guys they don’t want a half or Rio cut back.

Don’t worry if you want something with more coverage Aronik has plenty of other pairs that are equally as fun. But I think this pair will be popular with many of you. However, I must warn you this is part of “luxury swimwear.” The price is $95 for this brief.

Pair: Aronik Perdition Bikini
Color: Black
Fabric: TBA
Sizes: Small – X-Large
Pride: $95.00

Twitter has been cracking down on underwear-gear lovers with TOS violations. I know many who have been hit with this and been kicked off the service. On Friday, UNB was hit with this violation. Our account was locked until I appealed the decision or deleted the “offending” picture.

This is the offending pic:

Here is the new pic (changing soon):

I created this pic after the initial wave of guys getting hit with this “TOS” violation. I chose images that I thought were ok because they weren’t overly sexualized. They didn’t show a close-up of a bluge, no thongs from the back, and no big bulges.

So what can you do to ensure your account is as safe? (Note this is not a guarantee but some tips that will hopefully help, I’m at the point I don’t know anymore, there are no guarantees for safety):

  1. Don’t post any pics of you or others wearing underwear in your profile pics. I would suggest posting a pic of underwear laying on a bed or hanging from a hook.
  2. If you have a logo, use that as your avatar – something created like a logo will not be flagged as a TOS violation. As long as it’s not graphic or “sexual.”
  3. If you don’t have a logo, post a generic pic as your avatar, such as your favorite beach, a landscape, a cityscape, or something very general.
  4. Create a quote in a service like Canva where it’s just words, but don’t use profanity or sexual terms.
  5. If you are in doubt, leave the profile header blank; why risk it when you don’t have to be at the will of Twitter.

This convinces me even more; we need a social media network for men’s underwear lovers. There are multiple double standards that I don’t think we are ever going to overcome. Twitter has been the last place underwear lovers can go to post pics and not be harassed until recently. Many are getting the TOS violation for their profiles, and they started adding “sensitive content” for pictures that contain nudity. However, this is on top of marking your content as “sensitive,” and this service is not applied evenly. Some pics do not contain nudity and get flagged, and in the next pic, the person may have featured a full-on erect cock and no warning.

I’m just frustrated at this and don’t see this getting better. Things have become more challenging since Tumblr banned “nudity and pornography.” Facebook has always had a double standard for men and women; we all know and are aware of the problems posting on FB. Twitter is cracking down; I’m pissed off and trying to figure out the next move for men’s underwear and social media.

We are joined by Julio the guy behind the amazing swimwear brand called Ikakos. The brand has some on strong on the swimwear scene with their first collection featuring some amazing prints and patterns. He’s about to up the game with a series of solids to be followed by a rerelease and a new collection later this year. He’s a busy guy who doesn’t like accounting (we have that in common). Listen to our convo to find out more about how the brand started, what they have been doing and are planning for the year. There is a code for 50% off, but you have to listen to get that code!!!

It’s Swimwear Sunday! I wanted to pick a really fun pair for today. I turned to MCE Creations because they have one of my favorite pairs from last year. That pair is the Palm Dreams Swim Brief, I love the colors of the print. I checked out this year’s collection and I am blown away by how creative and fun these new swim briefs are. This Sunday I chose the Transcendent swim brief.

This pair has a really amazing print that celebrates Trans Pride (it’s the same color as the Trans pride flag). But I think even without that you guys would love the print. These colors are just a lot of fun and the print is sort of an ink blot that is so much fun! I would love to wear this pair out this summer. I haven’t tried their swimwear yet but really want to!

The second best thing is that MCE Creations go up to larger sizes. Means you don’t have to have a 36 waist or smaller to wear it. They are inclusive to everyone regardless of waist size. I have this issue with a lot of brands out there!

I hope you guys will check out this pair and more from MCE Creations.

PAIR: Transcendent swim brief
