We enter our second week of Underwear of the Week. As we said in our previous post, the second week of the month will be a thong, or thong related pair! What does that mean you ask? It means we may do something wild outside of a thong, skimpy, mesh or anything along those lines. Remember at the end of the month you get to vote on the pair of the month!

I asked a few people which thong should we choose. With out a doubt everyone said that it had to be an N2N Bodywear thong. It was told to me that the guys at N2N really know how to make a thong that is not only comfortable but fits a man like a glove! The specific pair we chose is the N2N Air G.

  • The Air line is extremely light and perfect for summer
  • Available in 3 colors: Black, Cream and Grey
  • Non binding back strap
  • Supportive pouch.

If you are interested in the Air G you can get it for $19 at the N2N Bodywear Site.

It’s been HOT, not just hot but  strip to your undies hot weather. All across the east record temps have been set and the weather is heading west! With that in mind we thought we would give you 5 pairs that you should own in this heat. They will keep you cool and comfy (well as much as you can in 100+ temps).

We looked at pairs that were breathable, fashionable and has a great fit. We think these fit all those categories. Some of these you may have seen others you may not have!

  • CoolFlex Active Jock w/ Show-It Tech. by Andrew Christian – This one we chose not because it’s in the new Andrew Christian Cowboy video but because it’s made from Modal. Modal is a material that is 50% more absorbent then cotton and very breathable. The pouch has the show-it Technology so it will show off your assets. The rear is a traditional jock design so under shorts you can def feel the difference! The jock is available in Black, Royal and Teal and is $25 from the Andrew Christian website.

  • American Jock Action Mesh Sport Brief – Not everyone is looking to wear a jock daily. Hence why we chose the American Jock Action mesh brief. You can look great in the brief styling but also breathe with the mesh material. The front has a great pouch with great racing stripes on the side. The mesh isn’t extremely see through, it’s a bigger mesh and you can probably get away wearing it to the gym. The materials are 88% polyester and 12% spandex. Colors available are Royal, Red, Black and White. It’s available from the Go Softwear site for $23

  • Baskit  Action Cool Square Cut Brief – We think a variety of styles are key to the perfect summer list. We have big fans of boxer briefs and no list would be complete with out one. This is more of a trunk but  gives you great coverage and support. This pair is made out of a cotton mesh and as the Baskit site says “it will keep you cool no matter “action” you are into!” The low waist band makes it perfect under low rise jeans. Colors available are Green, Yellow, Orange and White. Available for $20 from the Baskit Website

  • Pistol Pete Xpose Brief – We had to put in something super sexy in staying cool in the summer. Hence why we have the Xpose Brief. ATL Briefs just reviewed this one last week on the site (click here to see the Pistol Pete Xpose Brief Review). You think the way the holes are (meaning they are BIG) you would fall out and it would be uncomfortable. However, this pair got a great review and you don’t have to worry about those problems. The holes make it VERY breathable. Worn under shorts you should stay cool all day long. Made out of a nylon spandex blend. But how said cool shouldn’t be sexy! Available Black and White for $22 from the Pistol Pete website

  • N2N Bodywear Air Trunk – this last one is my favorite. This one is one I personally reviewed back in June (click here to see the N2N Air Trunk Review)and through at the time it was perfect for summer. The way this pair breathes is AMAZING. It’s so light you barely feel like you are wearing any underwear at all. The one thing that surprised me was that there is no elastic in the legs but it holds it shape! I would actually recommend the entire line (brief, jock, thong). The material is a cotton spandex blend that conforms to your body and breaths very well! Available in Grey, Cream and Black and about $22 on the N2N Bodywear site.

These are just a few choices you should consider during the hot summer! We would love to hear your favorite pair for keeping cool in the summer. Post a comment here or on our Facebook page!

I have been a fan of N2N for a few years now. They’re material and fabrication is always extremely quality, matched by a very comprehensive understanding of design. The whole brand has many facets (their sportier looks vs their loungewear…) but as a whole, they are always known for being comfortable, looking sexy, and feeling good about what you’re wearing.

This week I get to review the Cotton Pouch Boxer, I actually own 2 of these, one in an olive color, and the one I was sent for reviewing in white. The first thing you’ll notice is the texture. This is super soft cotton. It’s actually a 90% cotton 10% spandex blend, but all you feel is the heavenly cotton that practically put you in a state of serenity just upon wearing them.

The magic trait of the Cotton Pouch Boxer is the elastic sewn into the seam around the pouch. This creates a slight perch for which your genitals will hang down over. This creates a natural hanging but very full pouch in front. The waistband is sturdy but soft elastic to keep the underwear in place. Other than that, the underwear is very subtle in its wear, with no leg elastics, or tight thong-like seams in the back.

I find this underwear wears best in low-athleticism environments. They make great sleepwear, or undies to go under a loose pair of shorts for a nice stroll. I wouldn’t recommend these for running/working out at the gym. Because of the looseness/comfortable cut of the boxer, it can be slightly prone to bunch up at the leg holes. Not to be vulgar, but if it’s cold out, or you’re not a necessarily “hanging down” type of guy, because the pouch elastic border isn’t being anchored from behind (for example like a jock strap would be) you might have some slipping out occur. This doesn’t necessarily feel uncomfortable because the elastic isn’t tensions to an uncomfortable level, but the “presentation” might be thrown off a bit.

The price was fair at 19$ for this super soft pair, and the sizing is on point (as N2N always is), and it will really make you feel extra sexy.

I always get excited when there is a package in the mail from Tim. It means one thing- more new thongs to try out. Sometimes I am displeased and other times I find a great new thong.  I opened this package and giggled because the thong that was sent was the last color of a style I have been collecting on my own. The N2N Net G-String is one of my favorites. I have already written in my reviews about my love of N2N thong designs. They are really a perfect fit for my body. I already had the tan, white and olive pairs. Now I have the black pair as well.

If you read my thong reviews then I don’t want to repeat myself in terms of the cut, design, and finishing skills that N2N executes with their underwear. In case you haven’t read my review of the LA Haze thong here it is: http://www.underwearnewsbriefs.com/2012/06/review-n2n-bodywear-la-haze/. I am pretty positive that the pattern used to create the Net G is identical.

I wear these thongs for many purposes. It’s always a great item for the beach. No, I a, not saying I wear this by itself. Sometimes when I go away I wear it under soccer or gym shorts. It offers great support and also fast drying so its the perfect “lining” when you have run out of clean swimsuits. I also wear them when I am going to work out. No one wants a sweaty crotch. This pair offers a well ventilated solution when you are doing an extreme workout. I also make it the go to pair when I am going to Bikram yoga.

My only issue is the use of 100% polyester net as the main material. If you wear the thong straight out of the package it can be itchy. The stiff material is easily made comfortable after washing it. So boys- I would recommend this thong for multiple uses but wash it first to soften the material.

Thanks N2N and Tim for completing my collection of this style!

This pair was furnished by N2N and is available for $16.00 at their site.

N2NBodywear always has great styling, look, and color combination when it comes to their varying underwear styles.  The Ultra Skin Singlet from n2nBodywear in Harvest Gold was a nice singlet to try.  The fabric consists of 83% Nylon and 17% Spandex and provides a soft feel with the perfect amount of stretch and give to the body hugging fabric.  Size large was a great fit.  It seems that the market for wrestling singlets is growing as I consistently see them in photographs on various websites, more and more companies are making them, and I have seen a couple in various real life settings.

Upon first inspection, I found the singlet to be similar to those worn by wrestlers in high school and college, the quality was good, the harvest gold (think a dark yellow) color had grey and black stripes coming from the lower, inner thigh and extending to the upper, outside hip outlined leg openings, black outlined the neck and arm openings, and the leg length was perfect for easy movement and no bunching.  There is no pouch with this singlet which means it shows off the package very well.  This singlet is more of a flat stretchy piece of fabric rather than having an actual pouch and some guys will love it while others do not.

After putting this singlet on and viewing myself in the mirror, size large was a nice fit and looked nice from the front and the back with the n2n logo on the front chest area.  The rear fit well and the singlet moved with my body movements and conformed to the body in a nice way and showed every curve.  The singlet is sewn in two panels for the rear to provide a nice look with the way the seam falls between the buttocks.  Overall, I enjoyed this singlet with the fit and look, but wasn’t a fan of the color combination.  Also, I found it to be extremely sexy and it made me feel sexy while wearing it so I really want to call this erotic/fetish wear.

Overall, this was an enjoyable pair of underwear/activewear/wrestling wear/erotic/fetish wear (not sure what to call it as it is adaptable to various situations).  I liked the feel of the fabric and the look of the singlet.  The price is reasonable for this type of specialty underwear/activewear.  In general, I have a couple of complaints about this singlet.  First, I am not sure where one would really wear this singlet to other than a wrestling “event.”  This leads me to wonder just how many times I will get to wear this singlet and is it worth the money to buy one for one or two wears.  I mean, one is really not going to wear this to the gym, running, sitting at work under your clothes, etc.  Second, washing should provide no problem with the fabric combination, but do not iron.

This is a signature brief I wish I could put my signature on. This pair is one of the best pair of briefs I have ever owned and worn. These briefs were a great pair to wear in an everyday setting or in an athletic setting. I wore these all day long and really was pleased with the fit and material.

The day I had was an active day. I ran a lot of errands and so I was on the move a lot and they didn’t get baggy at all. They fit and breathed well so I didn’t get that sticky feeling or unclean feeling.  It is a fantastic pair and at a great price!

The only negative I have with this pair is that I have a pair of briefs similar to them and they have ripped after a few weeks of being in the washing machine . Even though it’s a thin breathable material, if the make is not good, it could rip easily if pulled roughly or just worn a lot, but as most cotton materials do, they will rip if worn out.

Positives-

  • Very comfortable fit.
  • They were made from cotton and was very breathable.
  • The pair was not baggy by the end of the day.
  • They look fantastic on you!

Negatives

  • Material

N2N usually makes some very durable gear and it is a pair I would recommend to any man who wants a fashionable yet good pair of briefs that can be worn for any normal day activities or sporting event!

This thong is unique because each pair has a unique in its pattern design. The L.A. haze G thong from N2N is hand spun and dyed and is available in two colors Indigo Blue and Sunset Yellow. I was given the Sunset Yellow pair to review. The hue of the yellow is rich and bright without being neon. The thong is made from 90% cotton and 10% spandex. It’s a really great soft feeling cotton with lots of stretch.

I always love wearing a comfortable thong to the gym. I prefer to not have to adjust my underwear while working out. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of a set and your underwear becomes uncomfortable to the point of distraction. If you are a guy like me that loves wearing a support pair with freedom for leg movements then you should definitely try this thong. I know that many of you don’t wear thongs. Some might wear them in the privacy of your home and would never want to be caught wearing one at the gym. Let me try to change your mind.

I probably own about over 200 hundred pairs of underwear at this point. Most of my collection is briefs and thongs. I probably wear a thong 4 times a week on average. Every time I get a new pair I compare it to my favorite thong of all time. N2N previously made a thong called the Odyssey. The L.A. Haze G is the exact same model. I know many thong lovers on the internet have expressed their love for the Odyssey. I have even read some bloggers that are not normal fans of a thong singing its praise. For some reason N2N decided to change the name. The design and cut of this garment is exactly the same. I can’t see any reason to change the name but they did. Instead of the grey tones previously offered now we get it two great bold tie dyed colors. It’s summer time now boys so pick up the fun colors before they are discontinued as well.

The design itself is simplistic and so comfortable on the body. A nice wide front and a generous t-back make it appropriate to wear as underwear or even a swimsuit if you are comfortable enough. The pouch is 3 dimensional. It lifts you up and forward with squishing you to pieces. There is nothing worse than a thong that applies pressure and flattens the bulge. The strap is the perfect width with plenty of stretch to ensure comfort.

My final advice- buy it. Buy it now. Buy 20 pairs. You won’t regret it. Trust me on this one!

Pros –

  • Great fabrication
  • Great fit
  • Close to naked feeling

Cons –

  • Not enough color options

I squealed with excitement when I opened my mailbox to find that my first ever pair of N2N’s had arrived. I was on my way out of town for the weekend, so ran up to my condo to toss it on, and skip out of town. Upon first inspection, I thought that I would never fit into the tiny undergarment, made from 90% cotton 10% spandex. The waist and pouch all looked too small, however, much to my surprise, the ultra thin fabric stretched to just the right size.

I grabbed my suitcase and set out for the journey out of town. It was a hot spring day, so the breathable material was perfect for running last minute errands around town. I completely forgot that I even had it on! I was rocking the white pair, as the only other option is black. The fit of the small was out of this world, just the right amount of stretch, while maintaining their shape as the day wore one. After schlepping through the city, I hopped in my car. The thong stayed in place during my errands and even after all the getting in and out of my car that I did. After time, especially when sitting, sometimes the back strap of the thong can have a little ‘pull,’ which sometimes leads to slight discomfort, however, that was not the case with the Cotton G.

Again, the thong is constructed out of a stretchy cotton/spandex blend. The seams are all well-stitched, and finished properly, meaning there were no loose threads or uneven stitches. The waist straps are about an inch wide, while the rear strap is about a half an inch. This thong has a single-layered contoured pouch with a seam that runs down the center, giving things a little boost. The way the pouch is seamed and contoured lifts your package up and out, with out doing so in an uncomfortable way, because we all know those built in straps and cups get awkward after a few hours. The care tag is very small and located at the top of the back of the thong, made out of a soft material, so it did not cause discomfort.

I cannot even begin to express my love for this thong. It is perfect! From the single-layered, contoured pouch to the stretchy breathable material, this might be the best thong I have ever had the pleasure of wearing!

In terms of care, N2N suggests a cold hand or machine wash, and a quick bout in the dryer on low/medium heat. I put them through the wringer and they held up quite well! They go for around $15 and come in classic black and white!

Pros

–                single layered, contoured pouch

–                soft, breathable fabric

–                low rise, barely there

Con’s

–           only two color options

The International Mr. Leather Competition and Convention takes place every year in Chicago and involves 8000 men and women dressed in leather, rubber, or whatever other fetish gear you can imagine (David and I spent one evening in saran wrap and duct tape).  One recurring theme that I noticed throughout the weekend this year was the inundation of IML with singlets including the N2N PX singlet!

I wore my N2N PX singlet around the fetish market on our second day at IML. Just while wearing it (approximately and hour or two), I saw 2 others wearing the exact same singlet (blue/white) and one guy wearing the same singlet in the yellow/black color combination.

In this very sexy slinky singlet (say that five times fast), the solid fabric is made of 79% recycled polyester and 21% spandex, while the mesh fabric is 96% micro polyester and 4% spandex.  While I love most of the design of the singlet (it is seriously sexy), I did have an issue with the back strap. On myself and the others that I saw wearing the singlet (and I saw a variety of body types), there is always a space between the lower back and the back strap that detracts from the look of the singlet.

My biggest issue with this singlet however is that (other than at an event like IML) I’m not sure how much use someone can get from the singlet. While it is definitely sexy, it’s not exactly something that can be worn underneath clothing for an extended period of time, and it’s definitely not gym wear with the exposure of the low cut.

PROS

  • Sexy
  • Different
  • Very popular already

CONS

  • Space between back and back strap
  • When can it be worn?

The pair I am reviewing is the N2N Bodywear Air Trunk. This is part of the new N2N collection that they just released. The pair is made out of60% polyester / 32% rayon / 8% spandex. Which make it very breathable and a great pair for summer.

The first look at this pair, I noticed like the previous pair I reviewed for the Luxe line, was there was no elastic in the legs. Since I had experience with the Luxe, I hoped that it would be a similar fit and it basically was, with out anything falling out.

The fabric was some of the best. Here in the south we are getting supper hot and there’s nothing worse then having underwear that makes you hotter. This pair really breathed and kept me super comfy through out the day. The sizing was very good and I have never had any issues with sizing with any pair I have received from N2N.

The new waistband they created for the Air line is super sexy to me. I love the thin band with the N2N branding. This is carried over in all styles in the Air line.

My only complaint is that I wished it had a little more support in the pouch. It does have a nice pouch and things don’t fall out or move around too much. However this is a minor complaint. I will definitely wear these again and put them in my underwear drawer!

Pros:

  • Very breathable
  • Great thin waistband

Con:

  • Like a more supportive pouch

N2N Bodywear never fails to impress me with styling, look, and color combination when it comes to their varying underwear forms and fashion.  The Quantum Brief from n2n Bodywear in Spicy Orange was a nice brief to try.  The fabric consists of 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex to provide a soft feel with the perfect amount of stretch and give.  Most companies are beginning to use fabric blends instead of the standard 100% cotton we are all used to and I like it.  Size large was an okay fit, but not necessarily true to size with a comfortable one and a half inch dark grey, white, and orange striped waistband with the N2N logo placed several times on the waistband.

Upon first inspection, I found the brief to be more of a mini brief rather than an actual brief, the quality was good, the spicy orange (think a dark orange) color with grey, orange, and white striped waistband was a nice contrast, grey outlined leg openings, and the crotch fabric was slim for easy movement and no bunching.  There is a very slight pouch (if you really want to call it that) near the bottom of the front of the brief.  This brief is more of a flat stretchy piece of fabric rather than an actual pouch brief.  After putting this pair on and viewing myself in the mirror, size large was a bit smallish, but not tragically so.  The rear fit well and the brief moved with my body movements and conformed to the body in a nice way.  Overall, I enjoyed this brief with the fit and color combination.

I wore this N2N Bodywear Quantum Brief from beginning of the day until around 6:30 that evening.  I began the day with an hour and a half drive to a local tourist town, spent the day shopping and such in the heat, ate lunch, and drove back home before peeling this brief off.  The brief was comfortable and supportive throughout the day and I had no issue with riding up or bunching of fabric.

Overall, this was an enjoyable pair of underwear and loved the color combination of dark orange and grey.  I liked the feel of the fabric and the look of the brief.  The price is reasonable for this type of specialty underwear.  In general, I have a couple of complaints about this brief.  First, sizing for N2N undies seems to be slightly off, but not dramatically so.  Second, these undies come with washing it by hand (or wash with like colors) instructions which could be an issue with some guys, but I have no problem performing this simple routine of washing.  I would HIGHLY recommend washing the brief by hand, or on cold and delicate cycle if you use a machine then hanging/laying it flat to dry.

The Air Bikini is a winner in my book!  Known for creating underwear that looks great and feels exceptionally good, N2N has done it again!  The fabric is 60% polyester, 30% rayon and 8% spandex, giving it that famous N2N  “almost nothing” feel.   I received it in black; it is also available in white, grey, and cream.  As soon as I took it out of the package I knew I was going to love this underwear.

I started my day working in the office, wearing them under a pair of long shorts.  To say that they felt great is an understatement.  I love the way they hugged the goods in front like a second skin.  This bikini does a great job of keep everything just where you want it.   And don’t let the term ‘bikini’ fool you.

The seat is full and felt great; I didn’t have to adjust it at all.  A medium fit my 31” waist perfectly.  And I must admit, there is a certain sexy feeling I got wearing underwear that so many other would consider too skimpy.   I showed them to a couple of good friends; the defining comment was “Wow, who knew a men’s bikini could be that hot!”.  The shorts I had on sat low on my hips and several times I realized that the band of the waist was showing, with a little skin showing below them and it didn’t bother me at all.

I can honestly say that I have nothing negative to say about this pair.  They look and feel great, and I can’t wait to get the other colors!

This pair was provided by N2N Bodywear, and is available for $20 at http://n2nbodywear.com .

N2N Bodywear has nice underwear.  I am never disappointed by their styling, look, and color combinations.  They seem to really have figured out what guys like in underwear and how underwear should fit and function.  The N2NBodywear Signature Boxer in white with black trim and yellow lettering was nice to try due to many of the reasons that I mentioned earlier.  The fabric consists of 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex for a soft feel with perfect stretch and conforming abilities to provide adequate support and lines.  Size Large was a nice fit and was true to size with a comfortable one and a half inch black waistband and N2NBodywear listed around the waistband in yellow and white lettering to provide a nice contrast against the black band.  The body of the brief was white with black contrasting detailing around the leg openings and next to the pouch.

Upon first inspection, the signature boxer is more of a squarecut low rise brief (think of a shorter version of a squarecut brief), the quality was good, the white with black trim and yellow lettering was a excellent touch. The rear consisted of three separate panels to provide support and definition of the rear and the pouch size was adequate (stretchy and accommodating for the larger package).  After putting this pair on, I found the pouch to be defining and I loved the two black strips of fabric on each side of the pouch to enhance the pouch and draw attention to the goody basket.  One of the strips of fabric actually creates the pouch and nestles behind the package to provide lift and places the goods out front.  I like this addition.  The fabric was conforming and felt like a second skin against my body as it moved fluidly with my body movements.  The rear was excellent!  The way the rear is paneled together in three pieces allows for definition and provided a nice look.

I wore this N2NBodywear Signature Boxer from beginning of the day until around 10:30 that night.  I began the day with my two hour drive to a contract position, providing assessments from 9:00am-1:00pm, driving to do a bit of shopping and trying on clothes, and driving another hour back home.  After all of this, the boxer remained comfortable and supportive.  I had no problem with riding up or bunching of fabric as this boxer really felt like I was not wearing anything at all and acted like a second skin.   The pouch was supportive and comfortable.

Overall, this was a great pair of underwear and served the purpose well.  I liked the look of the rear panels, the feel of the fabric, the overall look of the brief, the conforming nature of the fabric, and the contrasting of black and white coloring.  The price is reasonable for this type of specialty underwear due to styling, coloring, and fit.  In general, I have no major complaints about this boxer other than the washing it by hand instructions (or with like colors, it states on the tag) which could be an issue with some guys, but I have no problem performing this simple routine of washing.  One could simply wash the undies in cold water and hang/lay flat to dry with no problems.

Firs thing I have to do before we get into the guide is thank the awesome sponsors above! Pistol Pete – Gold Sponsor, Clever/Vuthy & Croota – Silver Sponsors and Good Boy Gone Bad and UnderGear as Bronze sponsors! Without them this guide would not have taken place. Next, I have to thank our photographer Brian from Seven Continents Photography and our Models Cody, Christian and Juan. Our sponsors allowed us for the first time to hire models and do a shoot all ourselves. It is a big learning process and things had bumps (models falling out the week before), but we carried on and pushed forward. We think we did a great job for our first attempt and we will learn more each time!

We had over 60 suits and a full day by the lake and then a re-shoot by a pool this past weekend. It has been a blast and I hope you enjoy this guide and it helps you get some great swimsuits this year! Our Models are Cody, Juan and Christian. Please check out our Videos on YouTube Enjoy the Guide! BTW, don’t forget to check individual size charts!

We hope you enjoy this guide for swimwear for summer! Watch over the next few days for exclusive Brief Distractions from some of our Sponsors. Remember please check each company’s sizing charts, because they differ from company to company.

We got in a lot of N2N Bodywear to review. It has been one of my favorite brands to review. The pair this time was is the Performance Box. If you have been a long time reader you know I am not a huge fan of the boxer briefs/trunks. I really prefer briefs. However, these were not your typical trunks.

The performance line is made out of 96% micro polyester 4% spandex.  It was sort of a mesh but really was breathable. Back, to my distain for trunks, when I got these I was a little skeptical due to the pouch design. There didn’t seem to be a noticeable pouch.  However, it turned out to be a really supportive pouch

I decided to wear these to the UNB Swimwear shoot. Nothing would put a pair to the test, then having to run around the lake, making sure suits where in order, models shot and such. It was a cloudy but nice day and I was really impressed with these. They gave me great support and really breathed through out the day.  There was one thing that annoyed me, that was the tag. It rubbed me the wrong way a few times but not all day.

The sizing on the pair was true. One thing I have found in N2N has great sizing. Its’ not one you have to worry about running large or small.

Pros:

  • Great fit
  • Breathable through out the day
  • great for someone active

Cons:

  • Tag annoyed me

This pair was furnished for review by N2N Bodywear. It is available for  $28.

The pair I was lucky enough to review was the N2N Bodywear Luxe Trunk. N2N is one company that I love to wear and try out new pairs. This pair is made out of 92% Polyester / 8% Spandex, which makes it fit your body.  This made the sizing fit true, so you shouldn’t have to worry about sizing issues.

As I mentioned I love trying out new N2N. However, this one made me a bit nervous. The reason is there isn’t any elastic in the legs. It made me wonder if the pair would loose shape and not support everything. I soon found out that this wasn’t an issue.  Through out the day it held it’s form. When I made it to 3 PM I knew I was in the clear and the undies are well made.

I wore to work and didn’t do anything too out of the ordinary. It fit me very well through the day. I have reviewed a  previous pair in the Luxe line , that was the Luxe brief. The Trunk is a pair that one really lived up to the Luxe name. I would suggest the Luxe trunk is perfect for daily wear. It moves with you and gives you great support.

There isn’t much or anything I didn’t like about the pair. My only complaint could be add a few more colors. Which is a minor complaint. There were no tag, fit or construction issues. I loved the way it fit and N2N created a great pouch. It will definitely go into my underwear rotation.

Pros:

  • Great fit
  • Built in pouch
  • Great materials

Cons:

  • More colors

If you are a Dancing with the Stars Fan you will recognize the guy above. He is William Levy a current contestant on the reality show. I bet you never thought you’d hear about DWTS on this blog. He is one of the most popular contestants and regularly gets much applause going well into the judges comments. However, there is a “scandal” with him, that he modeled X-rated pictures for N2N Bodywear. Please note the word scandal is in quotation marks. The pictures in question are not “x-rated” rather him modeling in mesh underwear. Yes there isn’t much to the imagination in the pics but they are not sexually explicit.

We have talked about the double standard in men’s underwear this year on the blog. I feel this is another example of how if this was a female contestant it would not be a big deal. I haven’t seen this on TV yet, but it has set the blogosphere on fire! Specifically entertainment and reality show blogs. I think this is pretty much a non issue. With that said it’s really amazing press for N2N, who couldn’t have timed it better since their new line is about to be released.

I would like to know if you feel this is a double standard? Please leave a comment, post on facebook, email us and/or answer the poll below. Show your support and on Monday vote for William!

When I found out I was going to review an N2N singlet, I thought it would be a singlet like the ones wrestlers wear.  Not quite.  The singlet I received was more mesh-like in appearance–kind of like those mesh workout shorts but with larger holes.  It did not seem like it would be all that comfy, yet it was.  The nylon and spandex blend (83%/17%) is really comfortable despite appearances to the contrary.

The first time I wore the singlet, it was as a surprise for my boyfriend and he liked it a lot.  I was honestly surprised at how comfortable the singlet was.  My previous bad experiences with N2N thongs left me a bit guarded, but I came away very happy with this singlet.  Obviously an item like this isn’t meant to be worn at work or the gym, so I can’t really speak to how comfortable it is after sitting in an office chair for 8 hours or after running on a treadmill.  I see its primary use as erotic/fetish underwear–calling it lounge wear may be stretching it.  But however you slice it, it is comfortable and easy to take care of.

Other than the mesh styling, the singlet has few other downsides.  The most obvious is that it can be a bit difficult to get into correctly.  Even if you think you are getting into it the right way, it may still be inside-out.

Pros

  • Sexy mesh styling
  • Comfortable fabric blend

Cons

  • Not every day wear
  • Can be difficult to get into
  • Mesh styling may become uncomfortable for some
