We got a chance to ask the PetitQ boys some questions about their brand and new collection. We hope you enjoy

You guys have been releasing a lot more collections this year. Why have you been putting out collections about every two months?

We release 8 collections a year in the US and even more in Europe. Starting next week, we will have new products every week on our European website. Now that we have our own sewing shop, it’s easier to release new products. We have so many ideas coming that 2 collections a year was not enough. I also think that the market has changed and online, people want to see new stuff all the time and not many brands are capable of doing it.

The new collection just released has some really sexy lace pairs. How do you transform a feminine fabric into something masculine?

I think that lace trend for men came from Europe where people take more risks and don’t care as much about what masculine should look like and you don’t need to be masculine to be a man. We have customers buying sexy lace thongs telling us their female sex partners love it. Lace is actually very comfortable and brings some softness. You can go 2 ways with lace. You can be very feminine with floral patterns, knots, bikini cuts. Or you can make it more masculine by using lace fabrics with more geometrics patterns and use it for men cuts. To make it look even more masculine, we like to mix it with a harder fabric like pleather like fabrics. This hard and soft mix gives a masculine refinement look.

Producing pairs with cutouts has been one of the signatures of PetitQ, You have a lot more pairs with cutouts? What inspires you to create these pairs?

We do have a lot of cut-outs. In the front, in the back, on the sides. Everywhere. But actually, we rarely sketch products with cut-outs. But then when we try the prototypes, we’re like: ‘this should be open here’. We know some people don’t understand why an underwear should be open but it’s usually here to make the visible parts looking better and take all the attention. Trust us, people will look at your cut out and not at the few extra pounds you haven’t lost yet. Maybe we also have a butt fetish 😉

I love the new Harness in the collection. Especially the red are we going to see more designs featuring harnesses?

Yes, we are going to see more harnesses coming. Honestly, we didn’t see that coming. We used to have many harnesses when we first launched in the US 5 years ago. It’s not easy to make harnesses size wise. You don’t want to have the elastics lose nor look like a roast beef. It took a while for us to be ready to do them by ourselves but now we have a whole collection ready and in production. It was pretty logical to make harnesses, many customers wear our underwear for parties and harnesses are like underwear for your chest, it’s here to show your body and show what you want 😉

You guys also wear your own underwear. I see you posting pictures in the gear online. Do you each have a favorite pair from the new collection?

Yes, we have to wear our underwear. Even though we try the underwear on us when we do the samples, there are things you only realize when you’ve been wearing your underwear all day. It’s also like this that we find new ideas.

Arthus’ favorite is the Redon Brief, the one with the leather-like fabric and lace. The design on the back is really sexy and show just enough of skin

My favorite is the Corlier, it’s like a boxer but open on the back and sides. It also has that balance between the soft lace and the strong leather-like fabric. The pouch is not attached at anything under, like a slingshot, and I like that kind of pouches.

Why should guys wear PetitQ?

If you want something different, playful and of good quality, you should definitely try some PetitQ. We have over 200 different designs, there will always be one that fits you. We really work around the male’s body.

Arthus and Nico are a French gay couple, they have been together for 12 years and have been sharing their lives ever since.

We are the owners and designers of men’s underwear brand PetitQ which means cute butt in French. The brand is available in over 12 countries and is focused on giving men this extra confidence to seduce and surprise their partners. With over 500 different products, there’s something for every men : from the quiet one to the very naughty.

The photographer is Tony Rondineau

PetitQ is a brand that has always been on the sexy and skimpy side of the underwear spectrum. It’s something I feel they are quite proud of and that’s exactly where they want to be. The new collection advances further to that side of the spectrum. There are more very revealing designs, super skimpy cuts and some barely there coverage. With some of our readers, you were sold on “revealing designs.”

The three styles most in this collection are a brief, jock and trunk. But, it’s not the typical designs you would think. The briefs are cut super small. The jocks have a very PetitQ spin on the design. Lastly, the trunks, well…don’t expect full or solid coverage. But, the whole collection works really well.

One thing I love about PetitQ is they take risks in underwear. They don’t play it safe with their collections. They mix colors, designs, fabrics and more to create interesting and fun designs. There will always be a place for underwear that is skimpy, sexy and fun. It makes guys feel amazing. I know when I wear something skimpy I love the feeling they give me all day. It also doesn’t matter if you’re gay or straight. We ALL want to feel sexy in undies.

Here is a quick overview of the new collection. It’s not a massive release, They are doing a lot smaller releases throughout the year. So stay tuned for a lot more over the rest of this year.

Even a relative newcomer to the world of upscale underwear knows that there are pairs perfect for everyday wear, pairs for an active lifestyle or working out, pairs for date nights, and then…there are those pairs for VERY special occasions when the selection sets the tone for what follows. Such is the niche of Petit Q! Be not afraid, drop your inhibitions, ratchet up your Freak Number, and slither into a pair from Arthus and Nico! This French couple love to push limits while pulling back on coverage!

The C-Ring Boxer Briefs are a flawless depiction of how these hot, young minds work!

First — a bit of background on the brand:

After 7 years in the men underwear industry as retailers, the Arthus and Nico decided to bring more sexiness to the world with their own line. PetitQ Underwear was launched in December 2011 with 6 original styles. Thanks to unique designs, the brand had an immediate success despite the number of styles.

Designed in Saumur, France, the line is definitely sexy and edgy but still in a fun and playful way.

Now — the main event: The C-Ring Boxer Brief!

These very sexy undies are made of an ultra-soft, textured microfiber fabric and feature an integrated C-ring that noticeably enhances your package! Wet look fabric feels soft and nice to your skin. Accentuated with a metal ring. It is style and substance combined, with an irresistibly sexy design. The PetitQ logo on the front of the waistband completes the look.

How f-ing hot are these? Imagine where the evening wanders after your partner sees what you’re hiding under your form-fitting jeans, seductively unbuttoned shirt, sultry cologne, and tempting nuzzling…! Is it warm in here or are you fixated on my undies?

So…if you’re hesitant to try some “over the top” underwear — try this: The message you’re sending to your partner is that you’re willing to bust through your comfort zone simply for their pleasure and enticement. That, my friends, is irresistible and worthy of a world-class response!

Give them a try…you’ll be a knock out!

Most of us have been stuck in the middle of winter for some time now, but it seems like every week or so we get a spring tease with a day or two of warm weather. When that warm weather hits, it feels almost scandalous to break out the shorts in February, even if it snows the next day. The new Neon Thong from PetitQ is their contribution to the blast of spring freshness while we’re still officially waiting out winter. Whether it’s still cold and gloomy where you are or quickly sliding it spring, this thong brightens any day and gives anyone lucky enough to see you in it a welcome blast of neon goodness.

The Neon Thong is available in two bright color combos: white with neon green piping, and bright blue with neon yellow piping. Both are refreshingly bright and reminders that sun and warmth will soon be here. PetitQ pairs the great neon colors with a fantastic microfiber fabric made up of 82% nylon/18% spandex. It’s a slinky smooth fabric that’s perfect for a body hugging thong. The contour pouch has a center seam that provides a welcome boost to match the skimpy cut. It also features thin, high cut sides and a minimal thong back. This creates a striking body outline from the neon piping that will look even more amazing against a summer tan! The minimal cut allows the neon color to be the star of the show. It’s finished with the trademark logo Q on the left hip.

The Neon Thong is available in sizes small to extra large for $20. Even if spring hasn’t officially arrived where you live, this thong is an easy way to inject some freshness and bright color into your daily wear. Spring break is right around the corner and a perfect time to break out this pop of color.

PetitQ is synonymous with two things: pushing the design envelope and skimpy undies. Their new Pigalle bikini does not disappoint on either front. The first thing that jumps out at you from the beginning is the color: a deep, inky blue that you don’t see often in guys’ underwear. There is also a black color option, but this midnight blue steals the show. This bikini also has two other distinct traits: racy lace fabric and a very aggressive cut.

Men’s lace underwear can be very polarizing. Those who love it swear by it and those who say they don’t like it probably haven’t tried a great pair (or any at all). PetitQ nails a couple of details that will make anyone want to try this pair. The biggest feature is a contour pouch, which means you get the look and feel of airy lace but with the comfort and room that every guy needs. Some guys try women’s panties out of curiosity to see how lace would feel, but get discouraged with the lack of room up front. PetitQ solves this and also gives you that sexy feeling of lace. The back is claimed to be full coverage but it’s more of a cheeky cut that perfectly complements the overall look and feel of that sultry blue lace. The sides are slim and high cut and the whole pair is edged in a really cool scallop cut. This hits all definitions of a bikini!

Lace underwear is incredibly popular with women and it’s a shame there’s not more styles available for guys or guys willing to try it. Girls love it for many reasons, and the awesome look and feel of it against your body are only a few of them. Available in sizes small to extra large, this pair is available right now for $23.

Are you a fan of skimpy and fun undies? Do you love the designs of PetitQ? If you answered yes to either of those questions. Rejoice, because there is a new line of PetitQ out now. This is the first collection for 2017. We hope that they put out a few more collections throughout this year.

This new collection is a bit skimpier than the others, in my opinion. It has a lot more thongs, bikinis and cut outs. I won’t go into specific pairs. Our guys are picking out some of their favorites. They will be talking about them in the next week or two. Stay tuned for those posts. We won’t cover every pair but we will be giving a big overview.

I really like the vibe PetitQ gives. They focus on making the sexiest underwear possible. Thier designs are pretty unique as well. One of my favorites they came out with were the chaps. A pair of boxer briefs with the crotch cut out and a pouch covering your goods. This was a lot of fun and cool to me.

Another thing I love about the brand. They mix the masculine and feminine pretty well. There aren’t many fabrics they won’t use. They have used lace, spandex and more. They continue to blur lines and make some really sexy and fun undies. The same goes for colors. They have used more non-traditional colors such as pastels, pinks, and others not considered “masculine” by the general public. However, it really works well with their brand.

Stay tuned for the new write ups. You can see the new collection at Candyman Fashion site. Go take a look.

petitq-pq160950_white_1Earlier this year when I talked to the PetitQ boys. They said that they would be releasing new pairs a few times throughout the year. They have lived up to this statement. It seems like every two months they are putting out 5-6 new styles to their already fun and skimpy collection.

The new collection has a bikinis, chaps, jocks and shorts. Each one has their own unique design. A design sense that PetitQ is known for. PetitQ is a company that is all about fun and sex appeal.

Well the dynamic duo behind Petit Q has done it again. The cuts, the peak a boos, the strings, flings and things are all back in Petit Q’s new line out now. The new pairs continue to push the edge of erotic underwear. Combining multiple styles, atypical fabrics, and burlesque-esque silhouettes.

Let’s take a look at a few that definitely caught my eye:

The Mini-Trunk Jock (PQ160602) mesh is an interesting take on the jock/thong combo style. It has the leg straps that lift up the cheeks to give any butt a nice bounce. It also has the teasing string that covers…a little bit. However part of the interesting thing is that this is being done in mesh. The (in this case) white mesh pair stands apart from others of a similar styles. This gives it that even more erotic edge. The front part of the pair is pretty gosh darn adorable. It looks like a hip brief or bikini in shape but the pouch has its own piping that gives it a very cool look. If the mesh was dark blue you’d almost have an amazing navy look about the front. Regardless, I love it. It’s definitely one to add to your erotic section.

Now onto the Bikini Rift Splash (PQ160409) and the Bikini Riviera (PQ160410). These cute brief style pairs have the alluring peak-a-boo cuts. That I generally associate with Petit Q. Using the piping as the “waistband” the pair is able to carry the print/color juxtaposition throughout the pair. The dark, solid color contracting with the semi-dark print gives it this sultry. Almost rainforest feel, a little hot, a little humid, a lot erotic. Naturally, the cuts are just enough. Like seeing into an apartment window from the street just as someone is about to disrobe. It’s exciting. This pair stays very true to what first made Petit Q a standout.

The Kini Massalla (PQ160601) is a style I must admit, I have not seen before. The see through material.  Either in black or turquoise (go turquoise) is a seductive feature for the mostly all covered backside. It is the front, however, that really draws the attention on this piece. You will find a pouch to place your package and a thin waistband helping hold up the pair. But otherwise, that’s about all you’ll find. A large pelvic window sits about the pouch on this pair. Once your pants are down, brush, trim or shave won’t be a question one needs to ask. It’s provocative, much like the cuts in the last pair, skin, skin, skin but not…the rest.

There are so many more pairs to see in this latest from Petit Q but these were some early leap outs for me. Check out more and try some on for yourself…or for someone else.

Find all these pairs at Candyman Fashion!

PQ160403_Black_1When you think of fun and skimpy underwear, PetitQ definitely comes to mind. Over the years they have played with different fabrics and style. The PetitQ boys aren’t following any rules for underwear. They are designing underwear they think is sexy and fun. Which, come to think of it, is the way underwear should be. The new collection builds on the previous collections. Some similar styles and fabrics work their way in to the new gear. It’s a great evolution of the line.

I have grouped the new collection into Bikinis, Mesh, Jocks, Splash and G-strings. Its a logical way to report on the collection. This is the new collection!

Bikinis

There are four new bikinis that consist of two styles are the Target Bikini and Mercy Bikini. Each comes in two color combinations. The Target bikini is made out of a solid and mesh fabric. The mesh fabric is on the pouch and wraps half way around the back. The fabric of the pair is 90% Nylon 10% Spandex. You will show off a lot more with this pair over the Mercy bikini. PetitQ always does interesting cuts of fabric. Both of these lines are asymmetrical and fun. Colors are Black/Red and White/Blue

The Mercy bikini has a similar cut to the Target bikini except there is less mesh around the back. It ends about 1/4 around the back. The fabric is the same 90% Nylon and 10% spandex as the Target bikini. Just like the Target, the pouch has the see through fabric. The colors are Black/Red and White/Black.

Mesh

PetitQ has a fun play on mesh with the Mesh Stripes collection. In stead of a 100% see through mesh, this fabric has solid stripes. This allows for somethings to be hidden. However, you will still be showing off all you have in these. The Mesh Stripes is avialble in a Kini, G-string, and bikinis. Another new pair in the mesh are the Mesh Chaps. They have a waistband and come down to your knees. You can wear them solo or with a jock or g-string. Definitely a hot pair. The Mesh stripes is made out of 95% nylon and 5% spandex and is only in black. The Chaps are 100% nylon and only in black.

Jocks

PetitQ is giving us their take on the Jock. As expected it’s not your typical jock. It’s more of a jock brief thong. Sort of a three part hybrid. Part brief, part jock and part thong all rolled into one. It may sound like a pretty odd combination, but it really works. The Sail Jock is the same material from the last collection, made out of a 95% Modal and 5% spandex. The Blue Jock is made out of 95% cotton and 5% spandex. Lastly the white is a mesh made out of 100% nylon. These three fabrics gives the three very different and unique looks.

Splash

The Splash collection is a new fabric for styles you already know. They have a blue mesh with a green print trim. The styles are Bikini Rift Splash, Bikini Rivera Splash and the Kini Rivera Splash. Most of the times they made these styles it was with solid fabric. Each style is made out of a 100% nylon mesh material.

G-Strings

We have plenty of fans of g-strings out there. I think the point of a g-string is to have the most minimal coverage. These definitely fit in that category. The pouches on both of these are some of the smallest I have seen in a while. One is solid black while the other is a black mesh. Both styles are made out of 80% Nylon and 20% spandex. It just depends on how much you want to show off.

Bikinis Part 2

The last of the bikinis are the Neon and Bulge Bamboo Bikini. These don’t  really fit in the other categories I created. The Neon Bikini a very brief Bikini with neon trim. It’s a smaller cut bikini. It reminds me of a few of the Japanese companies making underwear. Meaning it’s very low rise and looks to give you minimum coverage in the back. The Neon Bikini is made out of 80% nylon and 20% spandex.

The Bulge Bamboo Bikini is a true bikini. Its a low rise bikini with thin sides. So all our bikini lovers can rejoice. The back has full coverage on the back. Made out of 96% bamboo and 4% spandex, it will fit you like a glove. Bamboo fabric is super soft. This pair is only available in white.

Its not a massive update to PetitQ but it’s a fun update. I think they have done a great job in evolving their collection. I can’t wait to see what they do next!

Pros: Fun, nice design, very comfy material, nice pouch

Cons: Very very tiny back

Furnished by Candyman Fashion

This pair of underwear, from the front is an awesome pair. I love the pattern, the pouch, how low cut it is, and the material they used. Now the backside, that is a different story, if you love leg day and have a larger booty, then this pair is not for you. If you have a smaller one then it will be perfect for you.

The Sizing for this was actually very nice; my waist is in the 32-34” range, and so some pairs it is a Medium others it is a Large. I received from PetitQ a Medium pair, and it fit my waist perfectly fine, pouch fit nicely, but again, it was the booty part that didn’t fit me.

SALVATORE Recommendation: I was excited when word got to me that Candyman Fashion supplied the Spring PetitQ line for the UNB team to review. I’ve never worn PetitQ and couldn’t wait to give it a try. When the very skimpy pair of lace briefs arrived in the mail. I immediately planned a time to wear them during several activities.

Not only had I never worn PetitQ, this was my first time to wear lace. Before anyone decides to stop reading because you think lace is for women, give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed. After all, I’m not talking about a frilly lace (although, if that’s your thing, there’s nothing wrong with it). I’m talking about a very masculine lace that is two tone in color. It gives a very cool transparent look to your curves!

The PetitQ Two-Tone Green Floral Lace Bikini is very appealing to the eye. The fit is true and dynamically hugs the body. I typically wear an XL. The brief was true to the sizing chart supplied by the manufacturer. When I first slipped into the lacy greatness. I was concerned about how low cut the thin waisted elastic band was on the hips. Then I realized that I need to pull them up which created a cheeky affect on seat of the briefs. I thought this would bother me, but did not. I tried out my normal review “tests” by attempting to wear this pair like I do with everything else I review:

  • All day in jeans: I wish I could tell you that I made it all day in jeans wearing these great looking briefs. I didn’t! The lace fabric was so abrasive (not soft) that I had to take them off after only a few minutes under the jeans. I was bummed because they look so great on my body.
  • To bed: I definitely looked great when I dressed for bed that night. I snuggled in to for a great nights sleep only to realize that I couldn’t tolerate sleeping in the fabric either. At this point in my review experience. I was getting a little frustrated with the feel of the fabric. How could something so appealing to the eye feel so horrible up next to the skin.
  • At gym during workout: I knew this wouldn’t work out (no pun intended) well. I didn’t even try.

Because the first thing that I look for in a pair of underwear is the pouch design. Is it anatomical or not. I was excited about the room in the pouch of the brief. I would not classify this pouch in the purely ergonomical category. I would say that it is roomy enough to be very very close.

Other than the lack of softness in the fabric, the construction on the brief is top notch. The pattern is eye catching. The pouch is roomy. The leg bands and waistband are comfortable. The sizing was spot on for what was advertised. Unfortunately, the fabric is hard to overcome.

SO WHAT DO YOU DO WITH SOMETHING SO GREAT LOOKING THAT CAN’T BE TOLERATED AS AN EVERY DAY PAIR?: I say buy it anyway and find an occasion wear you will wear it as part of a costume.  For a very brief period of time (if you know what I mean), or as a Fetish Friday fun pair. Great underwear serves a purpose. Most of the time, the good ones are for something specific. My underwear journey is helping me to be more open-minded. Thank you CandyMan Fashion and PetitQ for getting me outside of my normal “MODAL” box and into the realm of the unkown—LACE.

Petit Q Two Tone Lace Bikini – Furnished by Candyman Fashion

Rating: 7/10

Daily Fit: 6/10

Sizing: 6/10

Construction: 9/10

Daily Performance: 7/10

Pros: Sexy as hell, great color combo, fun, different and unique.

Cons: Small sizing, rough fabric for full day wear

Beau Briefs recommendation: Have these on hand for seductive play but not for daily wear.

As is generally the case, the brand name should have given it away, Petit. The first thing that is impossible not to notice is that sizes with Petit Q tend to run small. So the fit was already going to be an issue. It is always important to know and REMEMBER that there are some brands that you need to order up a size. Oops!

So because of the sizing I wasn’t going to be able to try these out for a day long trial, like I generally do. However, let’s be honest, this is not really a pair that one would generally wear for a full day. These briefs have a purpose and it’s not comfort in the office. Its purpose is so that when you slip into them to let someone know that they should “come and get it.” they are going to come and get it!

This is a sexy pair. A seductive pair. A unique pair. And I love a good, unique pair of underwear. It means that this isn’t a pair that every brand will have a variation of, this is specifically a Petit Q pair. The light black lace is beautifully done and punctuated by the yellow flower details. The moody and yet sultry color combination is alluring and fun for the eyes. Of course, it’s also very fun to get the peak a boo view of what lies behind the lace as well. Well hello there, mister.

Given the lace and fabric the pair would not wear the best throughout the day and is not advised. That’s the trade off, sexy check, seductive check, a bit scratchy sadly check. Again, think about slipping into these before a date or when things start to get exciting back at your apartment. The construction is solid and the pouch has a really good structure. For a pair that runs a bit small there is room in the pouch for the goods. There are firm seams around the pouch that create a nice

pocket. I  imagine that these same seams/piping that go around the butt would be supportive as well. Unfortunately they cut across my bum because of the size and I cannot fully know.

If you’re a fan of what Petit Q has done in the past. If you’re a fan of the linen and lace type of look. Or if you want to branch out and have a totally unique pair to play in then this could just be the pair for you.

Hey undie lovers. Undies Rock here with another review for Petit Q’s Hawaii Yellow Bikini (Furnished by Candymanfashion.com).  Petit Q is known for pushing the boundaries of men’s underwear with saucier designs. This bikini is no exception.  From the cheeky minimalistic cut to the vibrant tropical pattern. This pair is total sexiness.

I have been a fan of Petit Q for quite some time for their fun and exotic styles. When they released their latest collection I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this bikini.  I love string bikinis, and though they aren’t my go to style, there is definitely a time and a place for them.  One aspect of a string bikini that either makes it or breaks it for me is the length of the side string.  I hate it when the string length is only an inch or two.  For a string bikini to be considered a string bikini to me, it has to have a generous string length for the side.  This bikini sets the bar as the string goes completely from the crotch all the way to the rear.

I for sure feel a little more in touch with my feminine side with this pair as it has more of a lingerie vibe than an underwear vibe.  The pouch and butt are extremely low rise, with just enough material to cover you manhood and crack.  The butt is incredibly cheeky, and definitely makes you feel sexy.  The pouch has a narrow design, and positons my junk in the center, but it maintains a solid pouch.

The 85% nylon 15% spandex material is thin, stretchy, and comfortable. But nothing special or out of the ordinary.  I wore a size large which is rated for 34-35 inch waists.  I am in the 33-34 inch range, and this pair fit perfectly.  I think I could size down for a tighter fit if I was in the mood, but for sure this was the optimal size.

I test drove a pair for a day and there were a few things that I wasn’t a fan of.  I found myself adjusting the butt throughout the day as it would ride up and down. Which became annoying.  Also, the elastic trim is not the softest. I only say this comparatively speaking to Groovin’s string bikini. Which is crazy soft and comfy.  Though this bikini is fine for office work and intimate occasions. I doubt it would be the right choice for athletic activities or lounging.  The overall construction is good. But I can tell that it’s not the most solid. For a $20 pair of underwear I expected something that doesn’t feel like it was made in China.  Also it’s always a pet peeve of mine when the crotch has a full center seam.  Since the crotch is so minimalistic. Your package fits tight, and the center seam was irritating.

Currently you can find these on Amazon for $20, which is a little pricy for what you get.  But if you’re looking for a wild to pair to spice things up, look no further. Because the Petit Q Hawaii Bikini is the perfect choice.
