It’s Swimwear Sunday! Today we are bringing you a new pair from aussieBum. This pair is not for the budget conscious swim brief wearer. It’s one on the more expensive end. Some may scoff at this pair but there are swim briefs in every possible price ranges!

The pair we are profiling is the LUXE Line Snapper. It is one of the most recent swimwear releases from aussieBum. What makes this pair so expensive? aussieBum teamed up with France’s leading boutique fabric knitting company. aussieBum says this is a game changer in the world of swimwear!

Fabric is the most important thing in swimwear/underwear. This new fabric is a 97% Polyamide, 3% Elastane blend. It’s very high end fabric. aussieBum adds “Made in Australia by our talented craftspeople, LUXE brings sophistication and elevates your personal style for any summer holiday event. Expect the very best and we guarantee you will not be disappointed”

The one thing I really love about this pair is the design. It’s very classic in styling. The brief is a simple white with black stripes. It’s also a pair that you could wear more than one season. Add in the high quality fabric, it should hold up for multiple seasons!

In the LUXE collection this is the only swim brief. There are a few more hipsters. They range from great prints to an almost solid white. It’s a really fun collection. I think that aussieBum outdid themselves in making this new range. It’s stylish and pretty awesome!

You can find the LUXE Line Snapper on the aussieBum site. If you want something classic and well made. Definitely give the new LUXE range a look through in either the brief or hipster.

The Billy line from aussieBum has become a staple of the brand. Since the release of the first pair, the Billy has been known for really fun prints. Now the range comes in Eternity and Skulls. These definitely live up to the past pairs of the style. Remember the 80’s inspired prints?

The Billy is for the guy who wants a minimal waistband. I know we have plenty of readers who are not big fans of a waistband. It also has one of the best examples of a modern bikini. The cut has no fly, in a brief cut and the minimal waistband makes it complete. The hipster was released shortly after the brief. It has the same minimal waistband as the brief.

The Eternity line is a bandana print. Meaning it looks like a classic bandana. At least that’s the way I see it. You could say it is sort of a paisley print as well. It’s one type of print that is rarely used in underwear. We see it pop up every now and then. aussieBum really put their spin on it and it came out great! Colors are Black, Navy, Ice and red.

If you aren’t a fan of the Eternity maybe the Skulls is for you. It’s not as morbid as you might think. Skulls in underwear can be very hit or miss for me. The ones I tend to like are the Day of the Dead inspired ones. These are more traditional but not too creepy. I would say it takes a certain kind of guy to pull these off! Colors are Blue, Black, Aqua and Red

The pairs retail $13.50 for the brief and $14.25 for the hipster. Also you can find the Billy in other colors and prints on the aussieBum site. Now go shop for some awesome undies from down under! Also be sure to check out the new swim ranges!

aussieBum has released a new range called Body Denim. Which are “engineered undies.’ aussieBum says “BodyDenim” is the newest in print innovation by aussieBum. The denim inspired print is featured on the entire garment with both the body and waistband being custom engineered. The first of its kind in bringing outerwear fashion closer to your body, this product is now available in brief, hipster and long-leg hipster styles, in three striking colours.”

The first thing I think is amazing is the waistband. It looks like the entire pair is printed as one print. From what I can tell on the aussieBum site, the waistband is printed separate from the rest. The button and belt looks are super cool to me. Its amazing how they have it look like it’s one material and print.

One other thing they did that I love is the pocket. There is a rear pocket on each pair. This includes the brief. Also, when you look around back there is an aussieBum label, just like the leather label on jeans. Its a detail that a brand like aussieBum doesn’t over look. The last detail that I like is the distress each print has with the denim. It looks like it’s a well worn pair of jeans.

There are three different colors of denim in this range. It’s regular denim, faded denim and black denim. My personal favorite is the faded denim. It’s just sexier to me than the other pairs, but that’s just my opinion.  It comes in three different styles as well. They are brief, hipster and L-leg. The first two are staples of many aB lines. The L-leg is the newer boxer brief they have released. The pairs retail for $27.50 for brief, $30.99 for hipster and $34.50 for the L-leg.

Each of these fun pairs is available at the aussieBum site. See the pictures below!

IS_billy_lightbrown_01_160427125102If you are a fan of bikinis, you no doubt know about the Billy line from aussieBum. Over the years they have created solids (in bright and reg colors), prints and more with the line. The latest release is the Touch range in the Billy line. So what makes this line so special?

“Billy Touch takes comfort to the next level, matching the renowned Billy lightweight shape with a super-smooth nylon elastane blend. Soft to the touch and soft on your skin – this could be the most comfortable underwear you ever buy!” So aussieBum says!

This is one of the best bikini lines on the market. aussieBum was one of the first to really get behind the bikini and bring out a continuous line that grows each season. The previous lines have been cotton based this time they are moving to a Nylon blend. It was a bit of a surprise when I read it. But from all indications it’s an amazing blend.

The current collection comes in two colors. They are Chocolate and Coffee. I hear you guys going, it’s that brown and brown. Yes, but one is a really dark brown and the other is a lighter (the coffee). The both pairs has a darker trim on the waistband and leg openings.

I really am looking forward to seeing what they do to the Billy line for the next iteration. It has become one of the consistent lines they release. As I have said few companies are making true bikinis any more. I hope as the style continues to grow in popularity we will see a lot more of them. aussieBum has always created sexy and fun underwear!

If you are interested the Billy Touch retails for $17.75 on the aussieBum site. As they say “If you doubt yourself wear something else.”

IS_brf_Bulldogs_160212150316It’s Swimwear Sunday! That day when we bring you a super fun pair of swimwear. Today we go down under for a great new print from aussieBum. A company who’s motto is “We strongly recommend if you doubt yourself, wear something else”

aussieBum is one company that makes fun and interesting pairs of swimwear. One of the most favorite we have ever shot is the Leopard print in our 2015 Swimwear Guide. It was fun and not over the top! This year aussieBum has some new and fun pairs of swim. The one we are going to cover is the Shutter.

The Shutter is: “Take a peek at our new voyeuristic limited edition Icon surf men Shutter swimwear range. We’ve pushed the boundaries to see just how many will notice our cleverly designed Surf swimwear Shutter range. Let aussieBum’s new designs speak for itself when next celebrating your individuality. We strongly recommend if you doubt yourself, wear something else”

If you love the iconic life savors of Bondi Beach. You can have them on your swimwear! The front of the pair is solid black and the back is one of three prints. They are the Sharks, Jackaroo and Bulldogs.

The Shutter line is a total aussieBum pair. They are one for pushing limits and just having fun with their gear. Who else would make Aussie Lifesaver Prints on swim? I think it’s super fun and any guy who would rock the beach in these I tip my hat to them. It takes a guy with some balls to wear this pair. A swim brief is one thing but a print on your butt is another.

These three prints will definitely be a conversation starter on the beach. Its printed on 100% polyester fabric. The matching hipsters are 86% Polyester, 14% Elastane. Sold for $26.50 at the aussieBum site. Remember these are limited edition and won’t be around long. If you want one, get it now!

“Electrify your underwear drawer with aussieBum’s new Neon Classic range. Three striking new colours give the Classic Original a dose of adrenalin ready to get the party started. Proudly made in Australia and developed with a bigger and more comfortable pouch, an ultra comfortable interior, and a new vintage waistband.”

aussieBum has released the Classic in neon! The amazing style and cut is in something fun.

The colors are: Alive (yellow), Glow (red), Zest (green), All are $14.25 at the aussieBum site.

IS_cottonHill_Brief_Red_01_160411105324aussieBum has released a new range. It’s called the CottonHill. aussieBum says this about the range. “Inspired by the sun-drenched, rolling green vistas of CottonHill, this new underwear range is durable, ultra comfortable and easy on the eye. Made with a 1×1 Ribbed cotton for superior fit and style. Understated, tonal marle and a classic branded waistband make this a product range no wardrobe is complete without!”

The new CottonHill range is very classic in it’s design. The two styles available are the brief and the hipster. Both are standard styles in the aussieBum range. The pair has a new waistband from aB. It’s a branded band with aussiebum written around the band with no spaces. It’s actually pretty cool band.

The CottonHill range is made out of 100% cotton. They have gone old school on this line. Most pairs we cover are a blend of fabrics. Usually mixing in a spandex or other fabric to increase the stretch of the pair. The colors available in both styles are Red, Blue and Greymarle. All three are classic colors in the world of underwear.

What do we think of this pair? I think every guy needs some classics in his collection. There are times you may not want to wear something more revealing. This line is definitely in the classic range of underwear. I hear many of you out there are saying that classics are boring. We beg to differ. When done right classics are super sexy. The things to look for in a classic, which this pair has, are fit, fabric and colors. The fit should be great and not loose it’s shape while wearing. Next the fabric has to be high quality. And lastly there needs to be more than just white.

So where can you find this pair? It can be found on the aussieBum site for most people, unless you’re lucky enough to live near a store who stocks aB.

Jockstrap Wednesday aussieBum riot

Okay that might be a fûtball yell but let’s focus on the Aussie part of it, aka Aussie Bum and their Riot jock… GET IT. I am fully advocating for a full on European fûtball riot like stampede to get this jockstrap (plus it is currently on sale). Where to start with this amazing pair:

Unlike most jocks, let’s start with the front! As AussieBum often does, this pair has a very comfortable pouch. It isn’t too pushed out there, nor is it too held back. It allows everything to rest very comfortably, supported by free. The polyester/Elastane blend in a semi mesh form keeps the pouch cool and fresh. PLUS! There is a very seductively done peek-a-boo cut out at the top of the pouch. I often am very leery about these types of cut outs but even I think this one is over the top sexy.

Now the backside. Oi, Oi, Oi!! Great support from the straps give my butt a huge boosts, same with my confidence. A jockstrap’s real Goal. The sides are a bit square cut before the straps take off on their own but the cut remains very flattering.

The colors: Blue/white, red/white, black/red and white/blue. So pick out your team colors, don your knit, and give em hell!

Find the Riot at the aussieBum site!

aussieBum brings back the fun, retro look for Summer with the new Vintage Stripes range in our classic swimwear style. We’ve searched far and wide for the classic looks our Aussie forefathers hit the surf in from the good old days. Relive the past and redefine your future with these sexy, lightweight and quick drying swimmers. They’re so durable they’re the choice of Aussie Surf Rowers. If you doubt yourself, wear something else!

Unknown-20Get lost in these mazes from the land down under! aussieBum has continued to push the envelope with their underwear in both comfort and style and their line of ‘Billy’ briefs are no exception! Marketed as a brief for the “true iconic male” the brief sports a low rise cut with virtually no waistband. Giving you that feel of almost wearing nothing. Aside from their traditional colors for this line of briefs.

aussieBum has now introduced patterns to give these undies even more of a pop! Colors come in Maze designs blue orange and red. The Brief Maze Blue comes in a turquoise blue with dark blue and yellow maze design. The Brief Maze Orange comes in a sky blue with a yellow and orange maze design. The Brief Maze Red comes in red with light purple and white accents for the maze design. I personally have never been disappointed with anything I have ever bought from Aussiebum.  I am pretty sure this line of briefs is going to continue that winning streak. I enjoy a pair of underwear that is not only comfortable in supporting all my goods.  But also delivers in the eye candy department.

These briefs leave little to the imagination in terms of their small cut. What they lack in material, they make up for in their designs. Mind you, I am a big fan of any line of underwear boasts a flashy waistband. I wanna be proud to represent the brand I am wearing. But there is something about the Billy Brief that is intriguing to me. That right there proves how good Aussiebum is at keeping their undies fresh (no pun intended) and exciting! This overview is for the Billy Maze Brief.

But keep in mind that these same designs also come in a ‘Hipster Cut.’ For those guys that don’t wanna show too much skin. These Maze Designs are definitely going to be a big hit with me now that spring is right around the corner. I’m sure with their eye catching colors, you want to miss owning a pair yourself!

Find the new Billy Maze Prints on the aussieBum website. The Brief is $11.27 and the Hipster is $11.94

Unknown-2The season of hearts and flowers is quickly approaching…Valentine’s Day. That means it is time to start looking for stuff for your special someone, and what better than getting them a pair of underwear. Well just in time just Valentine’s Day Aussiebum has released a line called Loverboy. The company has been doing special underwear for the most romantic holiday for many years.

Aussiebum describes the pairs as featuring iconic images of masculinity and turns them on their heads. I must say the designs on the underwear remind me of the Village People. There is a biker, a construction worker, a soldier, a cowboy, and an Indian. Each of the characters are drawn to look like cartoon versions of Cupid cherubs. The characters are then is provocative poses. The characters also have items like harps, bows and arrows, boxes of chocolates, and bubbles.

The design also features hearts and terms like “Lover boy,” “Valentine,” “Be Mine,” and “Kiss me.” The pairs come in two colors pink and light blue. They are perfect to give your man for Valentine’s Day.

The Loverboy underwear comes in three different cuts. There are briefs, hipsters, and boxers. The hipsters and briefs each are made with 92% polyester and 8% elastane. The pairs also have the traditional waistband you would expect to get on a pair of Aussiebum underwear. The satin-feel boxers are made of 100% polyester. The boxers have material that goes up and over the waistband to make it all look the same. There is a small tag on the front with Aussiebum written on it.

The briefs sell for $15.28, the hipster at $15.92, and the boxers sell for $17.19.

The Loverboy underwear would be a perfect pair to get your special someone this Valentine’s Day. A pair with a fun design and made by a great company that makes a quality product. The one thing I would recommend is not getting to close to candles since the pairs are mostly or all made of polyester.

You get the special Loverboy underwear on Aussiebum’s website. Aussiebum offers free shipping on orders, so it won’t cost extra to get these underwear for your special someone.

Unknown-11

My name is Peter. I am 25 years old and I currently reside in El Monte, California. My love for underwear started around the age of 16 when I was still a junior in high school.  I purchased a pair of Joe Boxer boxer shorts. Soon afterwards seeing the models on the packaging promoting guys to have fun in their underwear. It got me thinking of what other brands there were out there aside from all the Fruit of the Loom and Hanes. I would see guys wearing in the locker room during gym class.

I was always hesitant to buy anything other than boxers. Even boxer briefs was me “pushing the envelope.” On account of anything other than that wouldn’t seem masculine. Living at home with conservative parents made my curiosity in exploring underwear even greater. It was only years later during my first year in college that, through social media, I discovered the site Andrew Christian. I was intrigued by the idea of their underwear having a pouch that would support your package. Not crush it like traditional tightey whities. Untraditional cuts and colors you would never find at your local Walmart, this site had it all.

The Andrew Christian Retro Pop boxer was my first ever purchase of underwear. Which wasn’t from your run of the mill retail store. Since I no longer lives at home, it made the anticipation of trying it on even greater. Oh man, the style, the support.  The emphasis that boxer placed on my front side. As well as the back made me mad that I didn’t order more undies my first purchase. It was a pair that for once made me feel sexy and free. Yes it was a pair of boxers but in true Andrew Christian style, the underwear held everything in place and more.

After that pair, I started looking for any other site that could offer me similar choices. Maybe even something more provocative? It was by exploring the Internet, that I discovered many other sites and brands to choose from. Whereas in high school I was mortified to try anything new.  I now feel proud and confident to undress in the gym locker room and show off my undies.  In hopes that other guys out here either straight or gay will get the courage to feel proud by what they wear underneath their clothes. Underwear is the first piece of clothing you try on before you start your day. It deserves just as much attention as the rest of your outfit.

My favorite pair of underwear at the moment is the Wonderjock Pro trunk from Aussiebum. I bought it in Hipster Red about one month ago. I am in love with this undie from the land down under, which is exactly where this trunk makes me feel most happiest. What intrigued me most about this pair was the Wonderjock Technology that enhances the look of a man’s junk. With a pouch that holds and supports your package at the same time. Made from 90% cotton and 10% Elastane memory yarn.

My pair I bought was in a Hipster Red trunk. The simplicity of the trunk’s design on the outside is what I liked about it.  Due to the fact that the enhancing pouch is what the pair is all about. To add anything to the trunk would have been overkill. The blue and light grey waist band boasting the Aussiebum logo gives it the perfect touch. Not too simple yet not too plain either. For me to like a pair of underwear. The waistband has to have that right amount of flash to it. That will make me proud to show off the brand depending on who is around me and this undie did not disappoint in that area. This trunk for me really helped enhance not only my package but my thighs and butt as well. The cut of the trunk in the leg area is one that makes your thighs look more thick (in my opinion). While the back of the trunk is snug and supportive that makes my butt look nice and perky.

The cotton material on this trunk is unbelievably comfortable. It is pretty stretchy and soft. Key factors that make or break my underwear purchases. The material really does make me feel as if I’m forgetting undies at all, it’s that soft. This pair offers me that tight and sexy support throughout the day. That gives me that extra pep in my step while I am at work or on a date. When it comes to sizing, this pair is pretty true to size except in my case. Yes the underwear is exceptional in all the right areas but my case the area of concern was the leg area. I have thick thighs and a pretty big butt. That sometimes cause me to have to adjust the leg area of the trunk both front and back from time to time. It is a small problem but it is noticeable to me nonetheless.

So if you have a little more junk in your trunk and/or thick lower half, I would suggest bumping up a size. Other than that, I am sure that Aussiebum got their sizing right in this department. In my case it was just a little too snug at times. Still my favorite pair at the end of the day though. I ordered my trunk online and you guys can get this sexy pair of underwear online too at Aussiebum.com.  The Wonderjock also comes in a brief and jock that I hope to check out next. Also, make sure to check out their sales throughout the week. You won’t be disappointed.

If you are new to swim briefs, you may not want to jump in head first with one of the boldest and brightest colors. We looked through many brands to find great pairs that won’t be too out there but still super sexy. Wearing a swim brief can be liberating on a beach, you feel like you’re wearing nothing!

Here are 5 great swim briefs to start off wearing.

Unknown-5

aussieBum Swish – Are you a fan of just a simple classic swim brief? The Swish line from aussieBum is that. Made out of solid colors with a low rise and 2 inch sides. These are a few suggestions and we will run more closer to summer!

Unknown-13Just when you can’t get think aussieBum can’t make anything sexier… They prove you wrong. The new Punch range is one that is sexy without being over the top. Every day I get tons of emails about different things and when I saw the email from aussieBum and opened it up I did a double take. The first word that came out of my mouth was “DAYUM!” Not more than 5 minutes after I opened it a friend texted me to say that aB is on fire!

So what is this Punch line about? “The new PUNCH brief is designed for the man who likes to live by his rules and stand out from the crowd. Made in Australia, these high spec undies feature a smooth elastane pouch and a comfortable mesh that will keep you cool during the day and hot at night! The bold branded waistband reflects the attitude, confidence and front of those who dare to wear it. The new PUNCH is ready to bring out the rebel in you, go for it”

The things I like about this line are: The waistband is classic yet fun. You need a more subdued waistband on a pair this sexy. The mesh is just around the back. I’m not a big fan of mesh fronts. Things tend to get wonky and uncomfortable after a while. Lastly is its available in three colors. I love it when companies mix great colors and sexy mesh. It doesn’t need to be all black!

The pair is just in a brief. If you were hoping for a hipster, you’re out of luck. The colors available for this range are Coal (black), Fire (red) and Ice (blue). They retail for $21.96 from the aussieBum site.

If you haven’t tried aussieBum you are missing out on one of the great underwear companies that you must try! If this is too wild, don’t worry they have some that show off less!

aussieBum Superhunk CEOAre you a fan of comic books? Or of super heroes? Maybe you like all the new Marvel movies. If you do then some of the new underwear created by aussieBum is just for you. Its called the Superhunk line. It is their creation of of a line of Super Hunks!

I admit it I”m a Geek! I love all things super hero, especially the Marvel movies. Pair this love of geek things with underwear and I”m in heaven. This new line is a lot of fun. aussieBum is no stranger to creating super hero underwear. This is the second comic style line they have released.

The new line is is available in 5 different designs. Each one is on a brief, unlike other styles its not on a brief and hipsters. The five designs are Army, Airfare, CEO, Fireman and Sailor. Each features a that persona breaking out into a super hero from their alter ego!

This is the official description from aussieBum “Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s aussieBum’s Super Hunks collection range. It’s time to shape up and get our latest and has to be our greatest classic fun underwear we’ve developed in years. Live the dream and grab your High definition exclusive Super Hunk design today.”

They are a little over the top, but thats part of the charm of the collection. The hero is uber masculine and a play on the comic book heroes. Its so much fun! aussieBum has their own great way of making and designing underwear! The pairs are $24.96 at the aussieBum website.

Unknown-19

So what is Merino? Merino is some of the softest and finest wool on the market. It is commonly used in high performance athletic wear for it’s properties over synthetic fabrics. Those properties are regulating body temperature, draws moisture from the body, has antimicrobial abilities and an amazing warmth to weight ratio. (Info gathered from Wikipedia for Merino Sheep). Now that we know what Merino is let’s talk about the line!

This range is made for performance and comfort. aussieBum is one of those companies that loves to experiment with new fabrics. Until this range I was not aware of Merino wool. Although, after reading out the wool, it seems like this is a perfect fabric for underwear. It not only can keep you warm but keep moisture away from the body! I think this is pretty awesome!

So how does aussieBum describe the range:

Merino is world first in men’s underwear design incorporating a merino wool waistband. Innovation and functionality is what makes this a style leader in the field of thermal comfort. Absolute luxury in quality, fit and most importantly comfort. No expense has been spared in developing the world’s first Merino wool waistband that provides additional comfort in extreme heat and cold weather. Merino delivers where other brands have failed to deliver when using merino wool as its core fibre. If there is one style to have always in your underwear draw, we highly recommend ‘Merino’. The best of the best is comfort, quality and performance.

The range has the typical styles we know from aussieBum, the brief and hipster. The colors of the range are black and grey with a red aussieBum waistband. The fabric content is 94% Merino Wool, 6% Elastane. The brief retails for $28.34 and hipster is $29.34  at the aussieBum site

Unknown-10Lace is one of those things in underwear, either you love it or you don’t. There is no in between in the world of men’s lace underwear. The lace trend crosses all sexual orientations as well. We have readers who are gay/bi/straight who all love lace and can’t get enough of it. Lace, isn’t exactly main stream, but is being accepted more and more as a fabric for men’s underwear.

ausieBum has released the new Lace range in a hipster and brief. Personally I love this collection. It’s a very small collection but fun to me. The brief is my favorite and yes I very much would wear it. From a design point of view is a mix of masculinity and femininity that really works well. Plus there is something about a guy who’s comfortable enough to wear lace.

This is what aussieBum has to say about the range: “Inspired by society’s evolution to accept and respect everyone’s right to live life the way they want. LACE pushes the boundaries for some, while for others embraces the concept of change. Made using the finest Italian fabric printed in a cross matching lace with no binding on the leg. This smooth silky finish will have even the hardest critics accepting fashion an interpretation of life.”

The Lace Range is available at the aussieBum website now. The brief retails for $19.34 and the trunk is $21.27

aussieBum – Halloween2015 Underwear from aussieBum on Vimeo.

aussieBum has always created awesome holiday themed underwear! In fact they have always been a favorite of mine. Especially the Valentines Day Bunnies. This time they put their cheeky spin on Halloween. These aren’t the crazy themed boxers you see in discount stores. They are super fun prints designed by aussieBum

They are the Banshee Blue, Beastly Black, Petrifying Purple, Punkin Pumpkin. Both of these styles are available in a brief and hipster. The brief retails for $17.79 and for the hipster is $18.43.

These are only available for a limited time so don’t miss out!

UnknownWhat is better than an accent color, a good pop of difference to run the trim? The OUTLINE, as AussieBum’s new briefs are called, have just that. And let’s face it that is frickin cute. They keep the classic features that one would expect from AussieBum “Soft, sleek and body contouring.” Is not only what you can expect from these pairs but a well contoured bulge as well, having the outline piping dip around the bulge for more emphasis.

Unlike many pairs from this and other brands the Outline brief has a thin waistband. This has the effect of not pulling the eye in an obvious way but helping to accentuate the briefs as a whole, matching the width of the piping around the legs. My personal favorites are the red outline around the Royal Blue and the olive like green around the black. Although, fans of classic white briefs will salivate over the emerald lined white pair.
