Tis the season for brands to release new lines. Spring is usually the season we get both great swim and amazing underwear. One brand that seems to deliver both of these things year round is Clever Moda. Clever Moda has a collection that has classic styling along with some amazing prints and fun cuts.

This collection seems to add in a few new cuts. The previous collections had Boxer Briefs/Trunks, Thongs, Jocks, and briefs. This collection mixes in some cutouts, interesting new designs and as always amazing prints. The last one is one thing that they are known for doing. Clever Moda has never shied away from bold and fun prints. It’s become something we look forward to in every collection. You will not be let down. There are some great geometric prints in store for this collection.

This collection overall is a solid collection from Clever. One new addition that had me going huh? Is the Boner Briefs. It’s very similar to a pair that Pikante has, where the name is self-explanatory. Also, new is a dance brief, which I would call a bikini cut brief. Glad to see new takes on the bikini. Lastly, there are a few cut outs in the collection. This is done at the waistband and back. They are, well interesting.

Swimwear is back in full force. There are several new swim briefs. Which have become pretty standard in the world of Clever. We know many of you out there still have yet to embrace the brief. Either society, significant other or more is making you wear longer swimwear. Clever has a few new swim shorts that are great for a cover up or on the beach. We prefer the first one!

We are fast approaching the Fall underwear release season! One of the first to release each fall and spring is Clever Moda. Clever is known for their great prints and colors. This year is no different! They have come out with some super fun colors and prints. Prints are one of the biggest trends in men’s underwear right now! So what’s new this year? We will focus on Swimwear, Thongs, Briefs and Boxer Briefs.

We were going to write up the entire collection. But that’s too much to cover, this will have all the thongs and other posts will do swimwear, briefs and boxer briefs.

Clever Thongs

We have quite a few thong lovers who read UNB. I think each year it grows more and more. Guys are discovering how great thongs are to wear every day. Thongs have always been in the Clever Moda collection. They devote a good portion of their designs to the style. They match other pairs in the collection as well. You will see an Ethnic Boxer Brief and brief. That means you can have the same design in multiple styles.

Clever has made ones that always looked like fashion to me. Meaning they take the design and style seriously and want it to fit in their collection. They don’t make a thong just to make one. I guess what I’m saying is they look classic and not trendy, at least to me. The three thongs we are going to cover are the Ethnic, One Human Race and Ancestral thongs.

It’s Thong Thursday! We thought today we would let the video speak! Its rare you get to see a video of a thong. This is the Clever Burning Cold thong.

New Prints – Beau Briefs

Clever is bringing the underwear world a way to spice up a traditional underwear drawer with their new line of boxers and briefs. Done in large, eye catching prints. Reminiscent of prints traditionally found in lines done by Pull-In or Freegun. These prints put a spin on their traditionally transparent and more risqué classics. The prints run the fauna gamut from Exotic Parrot to Natural snake with a flora span from wheat spikes to flowery touch. One commonality is the hue, the collection plays mostly with cool colors.

The line also gives choices in briefs and boxers with some prints coming in the Cheeky brief for those wanting a shapelier bulge. For folks who like a shapely pouch the Wild Spikes and the Wheat Spikes…hmmm spikes… might just be your best bet. For others who prefer a more conservative bulge the Toucan Mania or Exotic Parrot might have you seeing love birds. Any way you slice it these prints are a bit wild, a bit wacky and a big part of Clever’s new release.

New Thongs – Underwear Dude

There are two new thongs, each with Clever’s distinctive back. Which carries the front material all the way up and over the waistband. The first, called Burning Desire, comes in two color combinations: Gray and Green.

Grey has a nice understated purple pouch and back, with a black waistband and metallic/ silver lettering.  The Green pair also comes in, you guessed it, a nice light green, just in time for spring. Combined with a gold on gold logo waistband, you have one bright and jazzy pair!

The other new thong, named Forbidden desire, is a little bit different. It’s all about stripes! Rather than the usual clever waistband with the name in big letters. Tt is instead much smaller as the waistband is split up into several different colored stripes. The pouch is also striped, forming a nice v- pattern in the front which rotates to horizontal on the back. This design also comes in two colors, green,and grape. Green has a dark green and black body, with a colorful green, tan, and gold waistband. Grape has two different shades of purple comprising its body, with a red blue and white waistband.
