Men’s Underwear

197911_10150113248480079_1350045_nInspiration came to entertainer Andrew Makay while working as a performer on a cruise ship in 1987. That would eventually lead to one of today’s most iconic underwear brands. A simple turquoise bikini served as the spark that would turn into the blazing hot brand, N2N. Ten years later in May 1997 after lots of work and dedication the official brand was born.

That bikini got Andrew thinking, what if every day underwear was made not just to be worn but to be sexy?

In the years that would follow Andrew sought to learn the tools of the trade. He became self-taught in the design process. Most importantly in the use of the industrial machines that would help produce his underwear. This process was not always smooth, relying on the trial and error method a lot in the beginning.

The first pair that he worked on and finished was a bikini, perfect for where he was living at the time, Orlando. It was 1989, two years after he first bought his turquoise pair in Acapulco but still 8 long years before he would officially launch his brand.

Those years were filled with trials and errors and successes. Still he was fueled by his desire to bring his vision for sexy, ready to wear underwear to life. There didn’t need to be a line between every day wear and more lingerie. Which was only meant to be worn before intimacy.

He was continually helped by fellow performers and friends, especially Brian Sturzenacher, during that time. It would be through the help of friends that would get Andrew through the launch of his store. Also through the first many years. If they weren’t letting him crash on his couch they were helping believe in his vision. Like Angus Kennedy who later became the company’s CFO.

It would still be a little bit of time before Andrew would launch N2N inside of someone else’s store. Someone took a chance on him. Don with Los Angeles Sport Company agreed to sell some of Andrew’s designs in his store. This was it, his first real exposure. It was a big step for Andrew and for N2N.

One of the big moments that stands out to Andrew is receiving his first shipment of underwear sewn by a contract sewer. It would have taken him weeks if not months to do the same amount of work. His production could now be sped up and give him more time to focus on the design and the business. What a relief!

Finally in May of 1997. Ten long years after his life on cruise ships. N2N launched in a shared space with a women’s swimwear store in West Hollywood. His own designs, his vision was out there for the world, or at least the greater L.A. area, to see. Andrew was getting to help put men in seductive pairs of underwear.

In 1997 his designs relied a lot upon sex appeal. Skimpy. Tight. Alluring. The old adage that sex sells rings true for a reason and people were starting to notice N2N.

However, some of those people were his collaborators, his partners. First he noticed that the Women’s Swimwear store started to branch out and was selling remarkably similar pairs on their side of the store. Then he learned that his sewing contractor was marketing identical designs overseas as well.

Needless to say that was the end to those partnerships.

Scorned and saddened it was the enthusiasm generated from his designs that got him through. The reception was making a buzz and Andrew’s vision for suggestively filled underwear drawers pulled him back into work.

The first years were slim, not only in design but in financial success. When not couch surfing (before it was trendy) Andrew could often be found waking up having slept on top of his fabric bolts. Struggling but encouraged he continued to evolve his brand, his vision.

He wanted his underwear to compliment all types of guys. He moved the designs forward, past “skimpy = sexy” to experimenting with fabrics that left less to the imagination then the cut did. N2N would push the envelope of what every day underwear could be. While staying true to the goal of sexy, every day underwear that made the wearer feel empowered.

After many years of hustling his wears at trade shows. Andrew started to plunge more and more resources into the all mighty advertising. At the time the way to go was expensive print advertising. Pricy magazine ads helped to bolster N2N’s sales and the brand started to grow and grow.

After 6 or 7 years Andrew finally felt that N2N had arrived and had established staying power. From a cruise ship to a share space in West Hollywood to championing the brand around the industry. He finally knew his vision was hitting home. And then came…the internet.

SignJock450x-339x450

The world at your fingertips and the world’s fingertips at your door N2N’s sales took off. Internet marketing was a godsend. With less cost than the pricy print advertising the brand’s reach was greatly extended.

Pairs of sexy underwear were being shipped all over the place. Eddie Flores, N2N’s artistic director, and Andrew Makay continue to stay true to their vision of incredibly sultry underwear for everybody for every day.

N2N’s lines incorporate different styles and cuts. So that any body type can find their own sexiness reflected in their underwear. Trunks can be sexy. Briefs can be sexy. Thongs can be sexy. You can be sexy.

N2N-Air-Jock-Lifestyle

For over 18 years N2N has been championing sensual drawers in your drawers. For those same 18 years N2N has been locally made in Los Angeles, a fact that Andrew happily highlights.

And speaking of happy highlights. One of the biggest moments for Andrew and N2N came in 2014 when none other than Neil Patrick Harris touted his love for N2N underwear. During an interview with Vanity Fair Neil stated that N2N was his current favorite brand. “They’re perfectly designed to honor the goods, and not smash them”.

Andrew described the shout out by NPH as one of the proudest in his professional underwear career. Other proud moments have come from dealing with some extraordinary models like William Levy and Adam Ritchson who have gone on to big things. Levy went on to have a very successful acting career and recently appeared on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

Yet when asked about what really brings him pride after all of these years of getting sexy men into sexy underwear he points to his repeat customers. People across the world look to their underwear to give them an extra bounce in their step. A feather in their caps and many of those people are repeatedly choosing N2N. Repeat customers give Andrew and the rest of the N2N team the knowledge that they continue to hit the bullseye of what makes people feel sexy, confident, wonderful!

It took a turquoise bikini, years of hard work, sleepless night, toil and turmoil, and constant encouragement but N2N has grown into one of today’s iconic underwear brands. Andrew, Eddie Flores, and the whole N2N organization continue to look to the future for inspiration so that the rest of us can continue to fill our underwear drawers with pairs that, as Neil Patrick Harris said, “…honor the goods…”

the sparks between us willWhat happens when you get ready for  date? You pick out clothes that dress to impress right? But do you do the same with your underwear on a date night? I have a feeling I maybe preaching to the choir on this post but I think it’s something important to explore. Not because you guys need to wear better undies but what you should wear on each date. So I will give my advice on what I think you should wear on different date nights.

First Date:

The dreaded first date. If you’re like me you’re already on edge. You want to make a great impression so plan everything. But do you wear underwear to give you confidence. I think many guys really go conservative on the first date. I say you go the opposite. Wear something you feel super sexy in! Why? Because wearing something you feel sexy in will give you confidence. Wearing something conservative you may not wear often could drive you crazy. What is that person sees your underwear that night, Well lucky you! It will let them know you love sexy undies! Why not have it out in the open.

Fifth Date:

For most people, NOTE I said most people! Around the fifth date you are getting more intimate. So you should def step up your underwear game. Your partner is going to see them at some point so don’t wear something outside of what you normally wear. I think many guys who go out with people who they don’t know like guys in undies will go conservative in an effort to not scare them off. If they stay at your house sooner or later the undies drawer is going to be open and that leopard thong will be seen! And really, would you want to date someone who makes fun of your undies? I say HELL NO!

Anniversary Nights:

So you two have been dating for a while. It could be six months (if you’re one of those couples) a year or more. By now your partner should be open to your undies. These are the nights you should wear something your partner will love. It could be outside of your box and super wild. Find out what they want to see you in and surprise them! The whole point of the evening is to turn them on and have an amazing night. The styles could range from a g-string to silk boxers. Show your partner you want to turn them on and willing to try new things. Even if you don’t like the pair they want. It’s a give and take!

Wedding Nights:

Now we can all get married. HUZZAH Marriage Equality! I have always thought in a wedding your underwear should match your tie. If you’re going to have a purple tie why not purple undies. But that’s an entirely different post. Let’s fast forward the reception is over and it’s time to spend some time after a long, hectic day. I say put on something like Gregg Homme. Why not break into the fetish wear! If you can get both of you something that matches for a fun night!

These are a few suggestions for you guys. I would love to hear what you wear on dates. Feel free to comment or share with us on social media!

For the inaugural post and I wanted to share a personal favorite in my arsenal; surprise surprise, it’s from Fort Troff. If you don’t know Fort Troff, they are an amazing sex-positive kink-positive hardcore sex toy and gear store located in Atlanta. They don’t have a huge clothing selection, but what they do carry is phenomenal. Today, I’d like to discuss the Grunt Jock Modular Chassis and Pouch system.

00278_20_ft_grunt_jock_bennett_anthony

What you buy is a jock that has no pouch on the front, with snaps at the top two corners of the pouch area, and one under the balls. Where the pouch would go is a very thrilling Jock  Armour Cock Ring (also sold as it’s own cock ring). Then, separately, you have 5 different pouches to choose from that snap onto the front of the jock chassis:

  • Black Neoprene00278_25_ft_grunt_jock_casey_more
  • Black Spandex
  • Blue Spandex
  • Yellow Spandex
  • Red Spandex

The built in Armour cock ring is made out of a blend of TPR and Silicone. It is a great size and stretchy-ness especially for the girthy guys out there (represent!). They have redesigned this ring, and I have both the old and new versions. The new version is the comfort equivalent of kinky lounge wear.

The pouches are all cut in the style of more a boxy leather type pouch with a centered vertical strip and curved side walls. The centered strip features the Fort Troff logo. For the neoprene pouch, the sides are textures with little bitty diamonds, which gives it a very hardcore look. The spandex has the same rubber center logo strip with spandex side panels.

I love this jock for many reasons. The first reason is the straps are nice and thick, so they feel firm and steady. The other big feature is the pouch is fully detachable. So when you are ready to reveal the present within, you don’t have an awkward pouch flap hanging between your legs (there should only be one focus between your legs). I personally own the black neoprene pouch and a blue spandex pouch. I like the spandex a little bit more than the neoprene pouch, but love them both for different occasions.

The jock chassis itself is $50, and the Neoprene Pouch and Spandex pouches are $26 and $16 respectively. To start combining your jock, go to Fort Troff

That’s my fav for the day, check back next Friday for another installment of FETISH FRIDAYS!

Lengthening theExpiration dates seem to plague the refrigerator in my house.  From milk to jams to sandwich meat, food producers are constantly telling us the “best used by” date to hamburger meats and any other assortment of produce, canned goods, frozen products, and the classic “refrigerate after opening” products that we all use. No doubt, this is to protect our bodies from harmful organism growth that takes place once our food reaches its shelf life.  Although underwear doesn’t spoil per se (well, I guess if you are into some really interesting stuff like never washing, it will), I believe undies do have a wear out date.

Because I believe that great undies never go out of style, they obviously can’t spoil like our food.  This leads me to lay down a solid definition of “wear-out-date.” Salvatore’s definition of wear-out-date is simple; the point in which your undies need to be thrown in the trash.  If you are into super kinky fetish things—this post is not directed at you and what you like.  I don’t condemn or condone fetishes, but don’t want to give off the feel that I am putting you down for what you like.  My consistent statement about underwear is that YOU have to be comfortable with what YOU like.  With that said, let’s get started.

Collecting vs. Hoarding

We’ve all seen the reality T.V. shows detailing how little Ms. So and So from 4th Street has been attempting to take care of dozens of cats in her two bedroom apartment only to find out that her sanitary level is below the cut line.  This is an example of hoarding.  We’ve also seen the shows where Mr. Antique Man finds all of the cool oil company signs and displays them in a museum like manner for the neighbors and townspeople to gawk at when they visit for the annual Christmas charity dinner.  This is called collecting.  The major difference in hoarding and collecting boils down to three simple categories: organization of product, recognition of junk, and highlighting every piece within the repertoire in an appropriate manner.  Hoarders simply fail to draw the lines and negotiate the obstacle of getting rid of junk.  Collectors have a system that allows for max use of the collection.  Again, neither one is right.  Neither one is wrong.  I want to target those of you that are interested in being a superb collector of fine underthings for men.  So here goes!

My Determination to Collect and Cull

A couple of years ago, I discovered that I can truly find the perfect fit of underwear if I am diligent in trying new things and search hard for the latest and greatest.  I stumbled upon Andrew Christian’s Almost Naked Limited Edition Infinity Line.  I purchased two pairs to try out.  They both were striped.  In fact, I’m wearing one of the briefs as I type this post.  This was the first time that I encountered the anatomical pouch.  If you’ve read any other of my posts, you know that I’m an anatomical pouch brief fanatic.  Why—Simply because this style of pouch and cut of underwear is what I feel most comfortable in and enjoy the most.  Could have easily have been thongs or boxer briefs.  I just like briefs with anatomical pouches.

This newfound obsession quickly led to a dilemma of sorts.  I found myself wearing the same two pairs of underwear over and over again.  Because of this, I was washing them daily just so I could enjoy what I was wearing.  A few weeks went by and the fabric started wearing out.  The other thing I noticed is that I had hundreds of dollars in designer briefs that I no longer enjoyed slipping on.  The anatomical briefs and the obsession that ensued was kind of like the first time I experienced the ice cream cones with the chocolate in the bottom. I didn’t want to go back to the plain cones or plain, non-anatomical underwear any more.  Andrew Christian briefs are not exactly cheap and I certainly didn’t want to have to get rid of them after a few months of wear because of overuse.  I slowly added more to the collection and then had some decisions to make: 1.) What do I do with the rest of the collection? 2.) How do I ensure that I wear everything in the collection? 3.) How do I change my laundry habits to cut down on fabric wear.  The answers to these questions have helped me to lengthen the wear out date of my fabulous designer underwear collection (almost exclusively anatomical pouch briefs).

3 Steps to Collecting Well

1.) CULL the COLLECTION

The first step to being an aficionado of fine men’s underwear is to cull the collection.  When I stumbled upon the anatomical pouch phenomenon, I went through a few phases of collecting.  First, I put all of the non-anatomical pouch briefs into a forgotten drawer that I never used.  That’s right, I stopped wearing around 75 pairs of great undies in favor my start up collection of anatomical pouch briefs.  I occasionally had to dip in the “no longer wear” pile during emergency laundry situations.  Once my anatomical collection got up to around 20 pairs, I started to give away or throw away the briefs that I no longer wore.  This was painful, but liberating!  The key to this portion of culling is to RID YOURSELF OF WHAT YOU NO LONGER WEAR!

I’d say the other cull that is necessary is to get rid of anything that is dingy, has holes in it, is soiled badly, or has fabric that is beginning to fray.  There is nothing worse than dropping your pants at the gym or in the bedroom to reveal designer undies that look like they’ve been run over by a freight train that pooped on them.  Many people think that there is no reason to get rid of disgusting undies. After all, no one will ever see them right?  What happens if you get in a car wreck and the hot nurse has to cut your pants off?  What about when my wife surprises me with a little late night or middle of the day pillow talk (very little talking involved)?  You name the surprise situation and I guarantee you that you’d rather have nice serviceable undies as opposed to beat up worn out drawers to put on display.  Simply TOSS THE BEAT UP UNDERPANTS!

Double Underwear Drawer

2.) ORGANIZE THE COLLECTION

If you are like me, for years I just threw my expensive undies in a pile in the drawer.  I never new what I had available for wear, where to find it, or how many clean pairs I had left.  One day, playing off of my wife’s extremely organized dresser drawers and closet. I took her advice and starting organizing my underwear in a fashion that is easily viewable and accessible.  I roll them and stand them waistband up.  This allows me to see the brand and the color in one fell swoop.  I then place the underwear into three different drawers based on three basic categories: everyday wear, workout wear (sports brief or no side panel just the waistband), and sleep/lounge wear (usually super skimpy, revealing, and low-cut).

How does this help preserve the collection and lengthen wear out date? I’m glad you asked.  By organizing in a manner that is easy to access and easy to view, I tend to where a large variety of things.  Because I typically go through three pairs of undies a day (workout, all day, and sleep).  I need to be able to access all three types quickly without defaulting to whatever is on top of the pile (usually what you just wore and washed lands on top).  This causes a less frequent wear time for each individual pair in turn lengthening the wear out date.

3.) WASH THE COLLECTION

That means exactly what it says.  I wash the entire collection at one time in one load.  Why? I have found that if I force myself to wear every piece in the collection before I wash. I not only wear everything in my dresser. I don’t over wear the colors, patterns, and particular brands that I like the most.  The fastest way to destroy your collection is overuse.  Fabrics will fray and you will have to cull a whole lot quicker.

The system that I use to do this is simple.  I have a laundry bag in the corner of my closest (so my wife doesn’t see it and assume I want to wash).  I wear a pair and throw it in the bag.  I don’t wash the contents of the bag until I have completely depleted what’s in my dresser.  You figured it out.  That means that on the nights that I wash, I have ZERO pairs left to choose from to sleep in—SO I GO COMMANDO!  I wash overnight.  The next morning I roll (fold) the entire collection at one time. It’s my favorite day of the month.  I get to see every pair of anatomical briefs that I own at one time.  Every color, every pattern, and every awesome waistband is right in front of me for my own viewing pleasure.

This third and final step has been crucial to lengthening the wear out date.  The fabrics remain nice and smooth.  The colors stay bright.  The waistbands stay crisp and sharp.  Because I don’t want to buy anything expensive and wear it out in short order. I highly recommend that you systematize your wash process.

To Sum it Up

By reading this post, you, my friend, are on your way to having a collection that all men will envy.  Some of you will take my advice and move from being a hoarder to being a collector.  I am so in tune with what I like that I don’t even wear a pair if I try them on and they don’t fit just right.  In fact, I have six pairs in a bottom drawer that I wasn’t too excited about the pouch.  I will be giving them to @UNBTim because he’s a good friend to me and we share the same passion—UNDERWEAR!  Collect your underwear like you are collecting vintage baseball cards.  Take care of them and put them on display.  Don’t keep junk.  Always look for the mint condition undies that fit your pearls well.  Enjoy your UNDERPANTS.

If you like what you’ve read or have anything to add, feel free to leave comments.  At Underwear News Briefs, we enjoy interacting with our readers.  You can also follow me on Twitter @manatomicallyme.  Thanks for ready.  Happy UNDIES!

Are you a fan of Nasty Pig? If you are there is a new collection called MANEUVER. Its very fitting for Nasty Pig, I think. Nasty Pig is all about having fun with your underwear and gear. The Maneuver line is a really fun new print for them.

You maybe going, Camo? Haven’t we seen this before? Yeah there have been tons of camo undies on the market. However, this has the Nasty Pig spin on it. The print is a custom camo that was designed for them! Each of the prints has the Nasty Pig logo mixed in. Which I really love how they did that! The prints are in blue and green. Green the traditional and the blue is a little more fun.

Also in this pair is a new custom waistband. I love waistbands. This one has the Nasty Pig name in a stencil font. The background is black and the accent color matches the pair. Its a good sized band and really fits the military theme of the line. Well, except the bikini

The one thing I really love is the fabric. It’s made out of a 94% Modal 6% Spandex blend. Modal is one of the best fabrics you can make undies in. It keeps you cool and is super soft. If I could get all my undies made out of a material this would be it. This means this pair can be worn to the gym, work, around town or play time. Or if you’re lucky all the above!  The Bikini is made out of Shell: 85% Polyamide, 15% Spandex, Lining: 100% Polyester.

There are three styles in this collection. They are the bikini, jock and brief. The bikini is a cut a swim brief!. If you are a bikini fan, it’s not a super small cut. It’s a fuller brief but has no accents on the front and a center seam pouch. The waistband in the bikini is covered and is a great addition to the pair. It’s super sexy swimwear. The next style is the Jock. Nasty Pig knows how to make a jock and they have taken their awesome design and used it to create a fun camo jock. Lastly is the Brief. It’s a similar cut to the bikini but it has but the regular waistband and trim on each side of the pouch. Its definitely a more traditional cut.

The pairs retail for:

Sizes: Small  – XL

CX75-frost_white-gallery3I started my underwear journey in small town America. With very little means of acquiring the latest and greatest in men’s underthings.  As I have shared many times before. The only stores in my hometown that sold undies involved Wal-Mart and an old department store named MM Cohn’s.  Wal-Mart carried mainly Hanes bikini briefs and Fruit of the Loom low-rise briefs.  MM Cohn’s had a wonderful selection of Jockey Elance Bikini brief threesomes packaged nicely in a plastic tube.  I can still envision the mannequin torsos bearing the sexy prints and ribs.  I believe the three-pack was $12, and I remember saving up on numerous occasions to purchase the hottest newbies in the store.

One day, while venturing through Wal-Mart with my girlfriend (I was in high school). We stumbled upon some very strappy all silk bikini briefs.  I had to have them.  She bought them for me.  No big deal.  After all, it was the 1990s and everyone wore some form of a brief.  Most guys wore bikini briefs.  It was super socially acceptable at the time—don’t worry guys. I believe we are getting back there. Back to the story: This experience opened Pandora’s box of desire for my undies habits.  I found myself wanting skimpier cuts and sexier fabrics.  I experimented with thongs, string tangas, and even a few jock straps (back when everyone wore them to the gym, but no one wore them for everyday wear).  This spiraled to rayon—SUPER SEXY LOOK AND FEEL. Eventually landed me in the new phenomenon of MESH.

Mesh to me offers several components that I want to explore. Including hole size, breath-ability, and functionality.  I would like my opening statement on this subject to be simple.  MESH IS A PRACTICAL OPTION THAT IS DOWNRIGHT SEXY—Afterall, you can see through it.

So what do I look for when buying mesh briefs (you can get boxer briefs and thongs too)? I’m glad you asked.

HOLE SIZE (Keep Your Mind Out of the Gutter)

The very definition of the word “mesh” is a material that has space between threads at consistent intervals to create openings for air and other substances to pass through. Naturally, the first thing I do is analyze the hole size.  This analysis is done with purpose.  Depending on the activity that you are engaged in, size of the space in the mesh will either limit or delimit your opportunity to succeed at the desired task.

For instance, if I’m going to be working out, I might want a tight mesh (smaller holes).  In my experience, large-hole mesh often causes chafing when I run or do other workout activities for a long period of time.  If I am lifting weights, I can probably go with a larger-hole mesh.  If I am going to be wearing mesh for sex appeal (I’m straight and sometimes wear my undies for my wife’s viewing pleasure). I’m probably going to still choose a small-hole mesh.  Large-hole mesh tends to pinch a growing anatomy (if you know what I mean—not that they’re staying on long anyway).  If I am going to wear them under board shorts (don’t crucify me because I don’t wear swim briefs every time I go to the beach). I’m definitely going to go for larger-hole mesh so the water can run out and the fabric will dry faster. Large-hole is also good for sleeping and lounging on a lazy Saturday.  Now that we’ve gotten the basics out of the way, let’s talk about some of the other things to look for.

BREATH-ABILITY

Several years ago, the underwear industry went through this very awkward phase of synthetic fabrics that had no porous value at all.  This translated to a sexy feel, but with sweaty balls and butt crack.  The end result was a putrid smell that caused men to lose all sex appeal when undressing.  Thankfully, designers and fabric specialists have found softer modal materials. That eliminate this issue without having to resort solely to the moisture absorbing greatness of cotton.  Although these nice modals and blends exist, if you are truly active, you will like a little extra breathability that is provided by mesh.

I understand that not everyone reading this post walks or runs 6 or 7 miles a day.  Given that most climates in the world have a season of heat accompanied by humidity. I’d say the breathability offered by mesh fabric is still relevant to all.  Where I live, you can lose a pound of body sweat walking from the car to the front door of your house in some of the summer months.  Mesh is just a great option to have at the ready in your underwear drawer.  It breaths well and allows the boys to get fresh air.

FUNCTIONALITY

Whether you are about to engage in a rapid, heart intensive workout, or your engines are getting revved up for that special loved-one, mesh underwear can be a very functional choice.  I consider the mesh briefs that I have in my collection to be a viable option for everyday wear. However, I want to give two strong words of caution if you are going to branch out in to the realm of mesh underwear.

  1. Beware of the Leg Band: Because of the construction space between the gaps in mesh, the underwear leg band on mesh briefs typically has to be a little bit thicker in order to fully grab ahold of the fabric and not be cheaply built.  What does this mean to you? A thicker leg band often times causes two problems.  The first of which involves your underwear line while wearing tight pants or shorts. The second is that a thicker leg band sometimes causes pinching and binding on the scrotum. Because of these issuses, I recommend that you carefully examine the leg band to ensure that a soft pliable fabric is used to bind the mesh to the frame of the briefs.  This will ensure that your undie line will be reduced as well as the tightness on the legs themselves diminished.  Boxer brief wearers need to follow the same guidance, as the tightness on your thighs is uncomfortable as well.  If you like thongs, don’t worry about.  Thongs don’t have a leg band.
  2. I recently posted a poll on my @manatomicallyme Twitter account asking guys how they like to groom their pubic hair when wearing sexy undies.  Nearly 70% said that they liked the trimmed look so as to not be all jungle bush looking when undressing.  Less than 10% said they liked to go bald and the rest were free-bushing (Natural growth).  I’m not insinuating that you should go bald or trim when wearing mesh, I’m simply asking you to make a conscious choice.  Look in the mirror and decide if you are happy with what you see through the mesh (I can’t help with dangling participle size—consult a doctor for that one).  If you are happy with the look, go with it!  After all, I always recommend that YOU need to be the one who most loves the undies you are wearing. Just be cognizant that you can see through the mesh!

Functionality is key to anything that you are going to be wearing for a long period of time.  I believe the tips that I just gave and the tips that you will discover along your undie journey can help others discover pleasure under their pants.  Remember, that some things function well with some activities while they don’t with others.  Functionality is important when buying any underwear, but especially with mesh.

TO SUM IT UP:

If you are like me and are constantly scouring the Internet for the sexiest and latest designs and cuts. You are already on the journey to finding great fitting and looking undies.  I personally love to talk about the industry and quite honestly am enjoying the new found freedom that www.underwearnewsbriefs.com is giving me as a blogger.  I definitely recommend that you take the time to try MESH. Buy a pair and go on a run or a long walk.  See how they feel. Take a nice hot shower, powder your nether regions, and slip into some sexy mesh undies.  Drop your towel or pants like a boss and see how your wife or girlfriend, or whatever your flavor reacts. Talk to others about your experiences.  Heck, comment on this post and let us know! I guarantee you that MESH will liven up your workouts and your love life.  ENJOY!

Have you ever gone swimming in your underwear? I think there are a few of us who can say we’ve done it. It’s not the most ideal situation. Swimming in underwear can be interesting, especially if it’s 100% cotton. Suppose you can have the best of swimwear and underwear? Rufskin has created the Hybrid. Rufskin says this about the collection, “between underwear and poolside leisure wear is born with this conceptual collection combining high-performance fabric and contemporary design”

The Hybrid line has three styles. The Nelson (a string bikini), Enzo (Brief) and Mahino (trunk). Each of the styles is only available in black. The fabric is 67% Rayon 28% Nylon 5% Spandex blend. “Contrasting fully enclosed elastic waistband constructed from a rubber-look poly-spandex blend with a matte finish.” Which is a great way to top off this line.

The Nelson is an “ultra sexy, euro-cut bikini brief.” It’s more of a string bikini with a one inch waistband. The back looks not quite full but more of a 3/4 cut. It will cover your backside for the most part! This is definitely a super sexy cut that will be fun to wear as a pair of underwear or swimwear. The Nelson retails for $58

The next pair is the Enzo. The Enzo is an “elegant euro-style brief.” To me its more retro and a throw back to classic cut from the 50’s or 60’s. Its not a bikini but it’s a full cut brief. It’s almost a trunk. It is for the guy who doesn’t want to go as bare as the Nelson but doesn’t quite want a trunk. The Enzo retails for $62

The last pair is the Mahino. The Mahino is a trunk cut. Meaning it’s tight and cut just below the crotch. This pair is perfect for the trunk lover in underwear or swimwear. This is the most conservative pair of the collection. If you are a little wary of wearing a brief on the beach this could be for you. The Mahino retails for $66.

This collection is one of the best hybrid collections I have seen on the market. It’s classic and fun. The black allows it to be used as both underwear and swimwear with out people really noticing. Find all three styles on the Rufskin site!

category-collections-collection-c-theory-2016030401C-IN2 has released a new collection called C-Theory. This collection isn’t as wild as previous ones like the Culture Club. I think this collection could be considered a basic collection. It’s three styles and up to three colors. There is something to be said about a great pair of underwear with a classic design but in amazing colors.

The three styles in the collection are Low Rise Profile Brief, Jockstrap and Punt Trunk. Each one of these styles has a two toned waistband with the C-IN2 name written on it. The Jockstrap waistband is more of a traditional band. Meaning it’s a lot thicker than the other two styles. It’s really a throw back to the classic jock. It’s glad to see they paid homage to the past.

The colors for this line are Olympic Gold, Pool Boy (Blue) and Red Sun. The Jock and Punt have all three colors. The brief isn’t available in the Olympic Gold. Its great to see that C-IN2 is bringing some bright colors! Underwear should be fun and bright. C-IN2 isn’t afraid to go bold!

The three pairs retail for : Brief  -$24, Jock – $22, Punt Trunk -$26. Find them at the C-IN2 website.

Support UNBTODay!This past week in the world of UNB was a trying one. The site went down for a majority of three days. The worst part it was beyond our control. We are still in the process to move to a better server! The move should happen very soon. (I’m crossing my fingers it happens sooner than later).

When things happen like the server, it helps if you guys join our Patreon. It allows us to do unexpected things and help hiring professionals to assist us. After the server went down and I made the decision to move to a new server. I had a crash course lesson on how to manage a web server. This is great knowledge to have and will assist me in the future. However, having to pay to move the site is an expense I wasn’t expecting.

What is Patreon? It’s a way for content creators to ask readers to support them. Putting on UNB takes a lot of people and resources so every bit helps! As I have said before, we haven’t taken any advertising outside the side ads. Ads, be it video or in the blog feed, are annoying to me. I think the reader experience is one of the most important things to UNB.

Where will your money go? As noted this week it will definitely upgrade our technology. The server we were on was a bit dated in both hardware and software. You should notice a difference when it’s finally moved. Also we are going to get new video equipment (software and hardware), and new gear to review!

If you don’t want to do a Patreon you can go to our Support Page and donate a one time donation via PayPal. We will really appreciate your support! If you have any questions email us and we will gladly answer them! We love you guys and think we have the best readers in the world.

Remember guys its in the Briefs! If you can’t donate just share our content on social media or with someone who is an underwear lover!
