UNB Review JOR Electro Brief from UNB Blog on Vimeo.
Bryce is back with another review! This time he’s doing the JOR Electro Brief. This pair was furnished by GDD World. You may also buy this pair at Candyman Fashion.
Before starting at UNB, Manview was not a brand I was familiar with. They seem to be more under the radar than their competitors which is a shame because they have a very innovative mind when it comes to design. They think outside the box which is great in an underwear world of so many different brands. I received my first pair of Manview underwear and what came to my mind was “hmm this is unique.” I immediately noticed the sporty inspired design of a lace up front. I also wondered how comfortable all of that would be under a pair of jeans and if the laces would get caught up in your zipper throughout the day. As for a brief, this pair is definitely on the wider side of the spectrum. The overall coverage of the brief almost makes you think it is a short trunk rather than a brief. This will definitely be a plus for the men who appreciate a fuller fitting brief!
The brief is made from a cotton and spandex combination that offers a nice comfortable, soft touch. The black waistband features the Manview name in the center, which contrasts nicely to the white and green color of the brief. The two toned front pouch adds a pop of color in the right place to accentuate the package. With the color and laces, eyes go wear you want them to. I slipped the pair on and prepared for a day of errands, chores, and dinner with friends. I wear a medium and they fit true to size. They were not too tight and looked good on. I tend to go for smaller briefs than these but I was pleasantly surprised with how good they felt and how comfortable they were. For my day, the pair held up nicely. My initial concern was that there was too much going on in the front of this brief for a comfortable, functional wear but I was wrong. Don’t let looks fool you on these! The leg openings do not ride up, the back offers full coverage, and the front pouch has enough room to keep everything comfortable and in place all day.
All in all I have to say my first experience with Manview was a positive one. I have looked through some of their inventory and their design scheme is amazing. They really aim to offer something different to set themselves apart in the marketplace. On a side note, I mention design as both a positive and negative because it can be very appealing to the eye but some may find it to be too much for a pair of underwear for daily wear. Overall, I hope they continue to gain attention and spread the underwear love out to the men in need of some variety in their drawers!

Singlets have been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. I have written many times about my love of them. Now they have hit mainstream and a lot of companies are making them. Some are for more work out activities and others are more erotic in nature. While I wouldn’t say the LA Pop Singlet is an “erotic” singlet it is super sexy.
When I got to pick what I wanted UNB to review, this was top of the list. And luckily they sent us one to review. When I was in Vegas and met with them about the new collection. Their wholesale guy said there was one singlet I was going to love. I was curious as to which it is. The USA singlet had been released and it was awesome. When the model came out in this I was hooked. I had to have it. The print is amazing and fun.
Its always difficult to review a singlet to me. I mean I’m not going to find someone and best of 5 pins wins. Its not something you want to wear to work, because it’s not practical to wear under work clothes. So how do you review it? I wore it one night while I was watching TV and to sleep in. I figured that if it was super comfy to sleep in, any activity would be good in it.
The first thing I noticed was the great fit. Sometimes singlets can have really tight straps that were hard to put on. That is, some singlets you put on through the neck, through the side. Others can be just annoying when you can’t stretch the material to get it on. This singlet I put on through the arm opening. The shoulder straps went over my head without issues and fit snug in the shoulder.
The LA Pop singlet is made out of 83% nylon 17% spandex fabric. A singlet you want in thicker material, especially if you want to have it on during any athletic activity. The fabric is bright made out of blues, yellows, oranges and purples. It’s a more abstract print. The fabric is off set by black trim that frames it nicely. The neck, arm and neck openings are all black. Most singlets tent to be solids or color blocks. This is a breath of fresh air in the world of singlets.
I found this singlet super comfy to sleep in. I have slept in many singlets over the years. Sometimes the shoulder straps dig in or they loose their shape. This one did not do either. If felt amazing to wear all night. When I woke up I didn’t’ want to take it off. The pouch is great too. Its not defined like the Performance X singlets I have but its supportive and holds your goods nicely.
Sizing for singlets can be tricky. It’s not like underwear. You have to take in your height, waist size and build. If you are a medium in underwear but yet over 6’2” you will need to get a larger size. If you’re a more muscular or beefy guy you def need to look at a larger size. The singlet I received was an XL. The reason is I’m 6’4”, stocky and there is no way I would be in a large. Even when I was in better shape XL for my height always fit. This is true for a spandex material.

March is one of my favorite times of year. You may think its due to the change in weather, winter is leaving and spring is about to be sprung. Yeah I do enjoy that but my favorite is that N2N Bodywear releases its new collection. Unlike other brands they just do one collection a year.
In February of this year they released a limited collection to tease us. It was kind of out of the blue. One of the linesthey released was the Primary Collection. The name comes from the colors of the collection. It’s available in Red, Blue and Green. I of course got the green. Which is my favorite color. It is a color that is rare in underwear. So I jumped at the chance for green undies.
N2N sent us a few different pairs to review. This being one of them. We have a few more reviews coming soon from thenew collection including swimwear and underwear! Not to mention one singlet.
I wore the pair for a lazy day at home. I had no real plans and wanted a pair of great undies to lounge around the house. This pair is really comfortable and has the signature N2N pouch. I don’t know how Andrew does it but they have one of my favorite pouches and it caries across all their lines. The contrasting yellow piping really makes the pair pop.
This collection is a simple design. Simple is not a bad things. One of the latest trends in men’s underwear is having amazing and colorful prints. Sometimes you need something simple in your underwear drawer. The fabric is a 90% cotton and 10% spandex blend. Which will make this simple design fit amazing.
Sizing for N2N Bodywear is pretty consistent. I have had very few issues with pairs not fitting. My only concern is I’m going to work on loosing weight again and love this pair so if I loose too much weight I won’t be able to wear it. The size I received is an XL and it fit amazing.

I will say I am loving the Jock club from His Jock. When they asked me to join and review them on the site I was excited. But, I forgot I was in it and then out of the blue (well when monthly selections are mailed out) a new jock came. I was like OH YEAH. It’s a fun thing to get underwear in the mail when you forget about it!
This months selection is the Cellblock13 Locker Jock. The Locker Jock is an old school jock. Meaning its modeled after the traditional jock. The wade three-inch waistband, 1 inch leg straps and pouch. I personally love these kinds of jocks. No offence to current jocks but this one reminds me of when I first fell for undies and got my very first jock. At that time it was only these and swimmer jocks. The whole fashion jocks had yet to come to pass.
The waistband was awesome. Back in the day they had wonky sizes that made the jocks uncomfortable to me. I mean it would be like a 32 – 38 or something crazy like that. So it was just short of a one size fits all. This band was amazing and didn’t bind. I got the yellow pair so that added to the whole experience. I love bright colors.
I wore this to run errands. I figured what better to wear to run around town in! Again the waistband was awesome and so were the leg straps. They never rolled up felt uncomfortable. My only complaint would be a bigger pouch. It didn’t fit me as well as I thought. It was a little tight. But this I think is more of a personal preference. I have a bit up front to me it was small. The pair also was very well made. Timoteo has very good quality and uses top notch materials
Sizing for Timoteo is pretty standard over the years. You should check out the sizing chart and you shouldn’t have too much of an issue. But note they do run a bit smaller in sizing then other brands. So don’t assume you are one size in Timoteo. Double check the guide!

Recently I have had the privilege to try new brands that I have never worn before, only expanding my underwear knowledge. What I have enjoyed even more is that many of these new brands I am getting to try are offering more than one pair to review which lets me accurately decide how the brand is versus just getting lucky with one good pair. So here I am on my second pair of JOR. This time I reviewed the Rally Brief. This black beauty appears to be a simple basic brief but is made of a nylon and spandex combination and completely mesh. The see thru mesh definitely adds a sexual appeal to the brief, letting it stand apart from others in your drawer.
My usual test run of this pair consisted of another business work day with all of the usual movements to really test out a pair. When I first slipped the pair on, they felt good. The material was soft even with it being mesh. After some of these recent reviews I have done, I have to admit that I underestimated mesh underwear. They really do feel great and offer some amazing breath ability that you don’t always get in other styles of underwear. The one thing I will say about mesh that makes me laugh a little is when you are adjusting yourself your finger can quickly and briefly get stuck in the mesh hole. It reminds me of when you had to climb those nets in gym class back in the day and always got a foot stuck haha! The see thru mesh was sexy yet tasteful. I did notice that the brief is a little more full than what I am used to. I enjoy the skimpier briefs and bikinis, while this one I feel is fuller on the sides and thigh. This is great for guys looking to transition from boxer briefs to briefs or who enjoy longer briefs. With that being said, the pair offers great coverage in the front and the back. You may feel exposed in mesh but this pair holds everything where it needs to be and does not ride up or skimp anywhere on the fabric needed to make you feel secure in your underwear. The waistband is thicker than many pairs of underwear as well, just showing how this is made for guys who appreciate more fabric on their underwear. The waistband shows off the JOR logo, complete with the signature star.
I wear a medium and feel that JOR truly lives up to its sizing requirements. The pair fit excellent all around. I had enough room and coverage in the front and back, the waistband was not tight or uncomfortable, and the pair stayed in place all through the day. This is big! How many times can you say a pair does that?
Overall I feel like JOR does not get as much exposure as they deserve. This is a great brand with great designs and great underwear. If you have not had an experience in JOR Underwear, what are you waiting for?

After my first try with Clever and wearing their thong, I was interested to see how other pairs in their catalog fit in comparison. Next up on my review list was the Clever Spinel Latin Brief. The first thing I noticed about this pair of underwear was the beautiful yet subtle design on the pair. The white and gold brief has a white diamond on diamond design that doesn’t overdrive the pair of underwear but adds a little bit of style to what you would think is a simple white brief. The brief is stretchable microfiber fabric made up of nylon and spandex, giving it the ability to stretch and fit to your body. This is a great selling point for Clever because they are designing underwear that fits to your body, not something that your body has to fit to. The waistband features the bold Clever logo in a metallic look that I find so visually stunning.
I prepared myself for a busy day at work and slid the pair on to accompany me. The material felt great and the design looks nice when contoured to your body. I did notice, similar to the Clever thong, that the pouch did not have much give when I slipped the pair on. I immediately felt constricted and smashed and was nervous about the long day ahead. Having read that the material forms a body defining wrap around your body, I hoped for a little bit of breathing as the day went on. I will say that the information was accurate. The pouch was actually more comfortable during the day than I thought it would be. I expected to have that smashed feeling all day but in reality, my pouch was tight and comfortable with no other issues. For guys who enjoy briefs that are low rise, this is another great pair to add to your collection. It comes right up to the top of the butt, adding to the sexy feel it gives you. The coverage in the back was great, covering everything it needed to with no riding up during my day. I wear a medium and felt like Clever was fairly true to that size. Again, the only negative on the sizing is the pouch so well endowed men may have a harder time than the average man. It does stretch but maybe not enough for those guys!
Overall I enjoyed my second adventure with Clever. I think Clever is one of those brands who really makes simple designs pop and feel sexy. I love their same color on color designs that take solid color underwear to another level.

If you read the Ergowear X3D Bikini review, you know I LOVE Ergowear. It was great to try a new pair from a classic I have had in my drawer for a while. So, this review I wanted to step outside of my box a little. I wanted to try something I don’t normally wear, a trunk, AKA mini boxer.
I was excited to try this pair. One, because of the amazing Ergowear pouch. It’s one of my top 5 pouches of all times. To me a pouch is easy to do in a brief. But put that in a trunk/boxer brief and that’s where the trouble comes in. Some are able to pull it off while others aren’t! Second, I love the X3D line. The fabric, pouch and design is one that just feels great on me!
And before I get started I didn’t wear this in Vegas! I know you’re shocked. I wore it when I got home and was feeling better. I put this pair on and it really had a great pouch. I was impressed they carried over the pouch into a trunk. My biggest gripe with turnk/boxer brief pouches is you fall out of it. This pair, that never happened. They made it to give more support than most trunks out there.
My day wasn’t too busy but I did have some errands to do. So I was on the go for a few hours. I loved the support of the pouch. Yeah I can’t get over it. The fabric felt great. The fabric blend is 80% polyamid, 20% spandex. To me the more spandex the better. I love undies that conform to my body and hold everything in place. Some of you may not like this but, I have since I was young.
As the day went on the back of the pair rode down some. It was very noticeable to me when it was happening. I was hoping it wouldn’t fall all the way down. I had that happen with a pair a few years go. It was not fun to walk around with no coverage on the back. This pair never gave a full moon but did go down a bit. I don’t know if I had a smaller size if this would not have happened.
The sizing is awesome in Ergowear. They have one of the best sizing charts on the market. If you look at it, they will tell you when you should go up a size. If you get the wrong size in Ergowear then you are doing something totally wrong. !

I am on a roll with the color block briefs! This is my second review of the last line released from ManView Bodywear. The first was the 1001 Campus Class Joker Brief. This time it’s the Campus City Boy Brief. This too has one of my favorite colors, GREEN! Although, its not a bright vibrant green but a more muted almost neon green.
The brief has a similar cut to the Campus Brief. The pouch and design is a good one. Is it my all time favorite? No, but it’s still a great pouch. Guys of all sizes should have ample support. This pair also same fabric blend of the Campus brief, a 94% Soft Cotton & 6% Spandex. This I will admit is one of my favorite blends of fabric.
I wore this not running around Vegas at Magic. I wore it later in the week when I came down with bronchitis. There is nothing worse than getting sick out of town. The good part is I came down with it the night of the last day of Magic. But It didn’t’ hit me till the next day, Friday. I spent the weekend with friends in Vegas and instead of having a great fun filled weekend. I spent the entire time on the sofa sleeping.
I think the highlight of the weekend was going to the minute clinic. So this was not put through the paces like the Campus Brief. But, I wills ay when you are sick that’s the time you want to wear great undies. You don’t want to wear something that will drive you crazy. It felt great, I have worn them again in a regular day and they did a similar job as the Campus brief.
The design is fun. I love the orange around the bottom. It runs half around the back to just below the pouch. One benefit of this is it sets off the pouch. It will accent with you have! Plus its different and fun.
Sizing is pretty much spot on. I didn’t have any issues with the pair. Being sick I didn’t notice any bonding or being too small. Trust me had I felt it they would have come off ASAP. Again if you look at the sizing charts you should have no issues.

The pair I am reviewing is ManView Bodywear Campus Brief. It is a long overdue review from when I was in Vegas in February. This is the third pair of ManView I have tried. The first was the 69 brief which ran way too small and the second was the Fire Brief, which was awesome and fit amazing! I loved this pair. I’m not sure where it is now.
The first thing about the Campus Brief that I loved was the colors. It has my two favorites Blue/Green. Green is my all time favorite color and it’s becoming rare in men’s underwear. The design has a color block design. I love how the pouch is a block of each color. If you aren’t a fan of blue/green it’s also available in yellow/grey for a more muted tone.
I wore this on not my busy day in Vegas but one where it was over 10,000 steps. The first thing that I liked was the pouch. It gave me ample support. The 94% Soft Cotton & 6% Spandex fabric was really nice. I liked the way it breathed and held it’s shape throughout the day. I have had pairs that didn’t offer support and on a busy day it just drives me insane. This pair felt great all day
The color block design is a big trend in men’s underwear. It’s a design that will catch your eye and can be used with any color combination you would want. This pair the blue/green just pops and looks amazing. I am not sure I would care for the other combo. I wished they had a few more color combinations. I think the blue/red or a yellow black combination would be amazing.
The sizing is pretty good. It fit me well in XL. The previous pair I had didn’t fit me, I think it was missized. This and the fire brief both fit well. If you follow the sizing charts you shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding the right fit.

In my quest to “Pump” myself up, I had the pleasure of reviewing the Pump Fever jock. Anyone who is a fan of underwear has seen how this jock beautifully showcased the assets of Bryant Wood, therefore we can only hope for the same personally. This jockstrap is a hot red color but also has the patriotic side with the red, white and blue (could be great for Memorial Day and 4th of July cookouts right?) As I have learned with Pump underwear, this pair encompasses everything we love about Pump.
It is made up of a nylon/cotton/spandex material, great breathable mesh, and showcases the iconic PUMP! logo across the waistband. It is a very sporty looking jock which will be very appealing to the athletic community. It’s masculine yet sexy. A rare combination that Pump in my opinion has succeeded in dominating. After my amazing experience with the Pump Raver brief, I had no hesitation on wearing this jock through my workday.
I slipped the jock on and was immediately taken back to the feeling I had when I slipped into my first Pump pair. The excitement and the feel! The mesh is so soft and feels great against the skin. The straps reach underneath each cheek giving great support and lift. I may not have a butt like others but I felt a little something extra after these straps wrapped around me. In fact, throughout my day I could feel a sense of lifting from the straps. They were tighter than some of the jocks I have worn in the past but not in a negative way. They were tight with a purpose. The front of the jock is just as supportive and appealing as the back. It offered enough room for everything to sit nicely with plenty of room. The pouch is not too small to squish everything nor is it too big to make you feel inadequate. I wear a medium and am an average size guy in all of the departments. They stay true to size. This is important to know as well because when I was picking out the Pump underwear I wanted to review I was told that they are European sizes which I had never experienced before. If you have purchased pairs that are sized European, keep that in mind. So far with Pump, I am 2 for 2 on my actual size.
Anyone who is a fan of jockstraps needs to add this one to your drawer. This was such a great jockstrap and offered so much support and comfort I don’t think you would go wrong wearing it. I think this would especially be an important pair for a guy to wear who was looking for some extra help on the butt but doesn’t want anything out of the ordinary. I may not look exactly like Bryant Wood in this jockstrap but it definitely made me feel good, especially on the backside! Damn Pump, you gave me FEVER!

I have a few pairs of Bodyaware and have really liked them. The pair of I have this the Endowed Brief. The light fit and great pouch makes it a great pair to wear. I reviewed it a while back and the pic got us a strike on the Facebook “Community Standards” violation! I guess they don’t like guys who bulge in underwear!
I have been talking to the guys at Bodyaware to work with them again. They sent over a few pairs for us to review. One of those pairs is the Smooth Satin Enhancing Brief. I will be the first to say that I am not a fan of enhancing briefs. The elastic they use generally drives me crazy after a few hours. That’s because most create a pouch and have it lined with elastic and it lifts your junk up.
That being said it gave me a little concern in trying this pair. But more on that feature in a minute. The pair is made of Satin meaning its super soft and sliky. This right away may turn some off the pair but it felt amazing. BodyAware is known for their sexy and some may say more feminine underwear designs. I have never let that get in my way of reviewing underwear. I think too many guys won’t embrace something new just by ruling something out by the masc/fem of the pair. One of my favorite pairs I have reviewed were made of lace!
I think these briefs were super sexy. The fabric felt amazing on my skin. I will say I noticed it a few times during the say and I kind of liked it. The pouch, my big worry, didn’t really annoy me like previous pairs I have tried. The pouch wasn’t as restrictive and tight. It felt pretty well. I didn’t’ notice a big enhance . It wasn’t till the end of the day that it started to become noticeable. It wasn’t like “I have to take this pair now” but thought, “oh yeah I’m wearing some enhancing underwear.”
The sizing of these surprised me. Satin is not a forgiving fabric. It’s not known for the stretch. But they are the kings of men’s satin undies. It felt great. The sizing is spot on the charts. If you follow it (remember get a size up if you’re on the boarder) there should be no sizing issues. This pair also goes up to XXl.

I continue my reviews of WildmanT and the pair I am reviewing is the WT58 Apollow Short brief. The reason I picked it was its a great design. It is similar to the Moon Brief I reviewed earlier in the week. It’s clean and classic with a hint of color on the side.
This pair I got to try in Vegas but it got misplaced in my suitcase. Also, it didn’t help that I came down with bronchitis while there. So I was cleaning out the suitcase and low and behold there was a brand new pair of WildmanT still in the package! I was wondering where they went! So this past week I decided to put them to the test.
I decided to wear them on a lazy day. The Moon Briefs I wore on one of my busiest days in Vegas. These were going to be just a lounging around the house. You may say, “This isn’t a way to review a pair!” But I disagree. There is nothing better than having a day just hanging in your undies all day. A great pair is one you have for these kinds of days. So I decided to do a day of Netflix.
The first thing you have to know about the pair it comes with an elastic c-ring included. Do you have to wear it? Nope you sure don’t but its there just in case! I am not a fan of them so I didn’t put it on under the pair. Which I give WildmanT props for having this as an extra and not built in to the pair. Its great for guys like me who don’t care for them.
The material like the Moon briefs is a little thicker than most pairs of underwear. Its not totally uncomfortable. But some may not like the stiffer material. The design doesn’t have a built in pouch either. Which is usually a detraction for me but these fit me pretty well. They didn’t bind or constrict me. But note if you’re not a fan of thicker material you may stay away.
The sizing again is pretty standard. If you follow the chart I don’t think you will have many problems. I am on the upper end of the scale and they were a little snug but not too snug. They have consistent sizing across their collections.

It’s been a long time since I have tried a pair of WildmanT. I can’t remember what the last pair I had was, but the new collection that was released at the end of last year I really loved. It was a mix of swim and underwear. This time I got to give the underwear a spin and the pair I got to try is the WT71 Moon Short Brief.
I choose the Fuchsia color. Why you may ask? Well I love pink undies and this was pretty close to pint. Also, I love the design with the white band going from the side to across the back. It just looks great. When we go shop for underwear isn’t this what we want, undies that catch our eye and look awesome?
The pair like I said came in an amazing color. The black waistband and trim just makes this pair look perfect. If they had done a white I don’t think it would have the effect. Its sleek and fun to me. The pair is made out of a 94% cotton 6% spandex blend. When you first feel this fabric it seems a little thick. It makes you wonder if it will have the give of the spandex. If is kind of like a denim shirt feel, if you’ve had one. Its thick but still pliable.
So I ware this when I was in Vegas. So it was going to get a work out. In Vegas I walk a minimum of 10,000 steps if not more. Lucky this year they moved everyone together or I would have had much more walking. The weather in Vegas was 70 degrees so it wasn’t too hot. Wearing these running around the Mandalay Bay Convention center. They held up fine. The thick material wasn’t as restricting as thought it maybe. Granted it didn’t have a lot of give. So if you’re after a stretchy pair this may not be the pair for you.
Sizing was a little snug. I would say I’m right around a 40 waist right now and the upper limit sizing is 39. So that’s about right. I don’t think you will have too many issues with sizing. Over the years they have been consistent and never heard many issues with sizing. I hope to be back to a 36 by summer. Fingers crossed!
The design still is one of my favorites. This entire collection I love. I don’t know how Tim at WildmanT did it but he pulled off one of the collections I LOVE! The description says its a retro design, it maybe but I just see an amazing design all around!

Last week His Jock asked me would I be willing to try out their Jock of the Month Club and review it and a new jock every month. Who am I to say no to a new jock every month for free! So I gladly accepted their offer. So many maybe asking what is a Jock of the Month club? It is where you get sent a new pair of underwear every month. So His Jock picks a pair and send them out to all subscribers. Don’t worry if you aren’t a big jock fan they have other styles you can choose from. It’s kind of like a mystery surprise every month (that is if you don’t look at the monthly selection).
The first jock I received was the Garçon Model Watson Jock. Which was great because we have reviewed the brand but I never tried a pair. I was very happy to give it a try. The Watson jock is part of the South Beach collection. That means it has some bright colors involved. The color that is the accent is Neon Green. It has it in the waistband, the trip around the pouch and the leg straps. I really loved this accent. It’s super fun and will catch anyone’s attention who sees it.
I put the pouch on and it gave me one worry. The pouch seemed a bit snug. I wasn’t sure how well this was going to translate into a full day’s wear. But I has a few errands to run and went out to start my day. The jock pouch actually held up pretty well. What I thought was a little snug didn’t translate into any distraction while wearing them. The pouch felt like any other I had worn. This really impressed me big time!
The sizing was pretty good on this pair. I wear an XL and the sizing said waists 40-42. It was a bit snug but not too tight. So you should be good if you check the size guide. It runs pretty true to the sizes listed.
Would you see this pair at the gym? I honestly would wear as would some of our readers. It wouldn’t go with a pair of white shorts but why should you not wear something fun to the gym. The fabric is 82% nylon, 18% elastane. Which make it amazingly comfy and felt great. I loved the waistband as well. The grey with the bright green just pops to me. Making it super fun!

Pikante is another one of those brands that I have always associated with a more daring, sexy look to their underwear. Several of their items that I have seen online seem like they are better suited for a night of fun in the bedroom as opposed to a long day at the office. So when I received my next review pair you can imagine what thought went through my head. I opened up the package and found Pikante’s Mardi Gras Mesh Thong in my hands for my review. This pair of underwear does not have a lot of fabric to it and leave pretty much nothing to the imagination. What was my first thought? How am I going to make it through a work day wearing this? I will be honest and say that I decided to start off small on this one and wore it on a date to dinner.
The thong has an elastic waistband featuring the Pikante logo around it several times. The logo is a fun font including a pepper for the “i” adding a little spice to the name. The material is a nylon and spandex combination which at first touch, feels a little rougher than what you are used to. Apart from the waistband, there is very little material and very little cover up. Prior to my evening out, I slipped the pair on to make sure I could be comfortable to last through dinner. The look of this thong is so sexually intriguing its hard not to feel a little excited wearing it for someone. Underneath the waistband, there is no fabric, leaving the entire pubic area and bottom of the shaft visible. Personal tip: You may want to trim prior to wearing this pair of underwear for added visual appeal. Two straps dive down to create a mesh see thru pouch that holds the remainder of your package. As you can see, everything is visible when you wear this thong so you will leave nothing to the imagination for whoever you choose to see you wearing it. The back of the thong continues the trend of the little to no fabric with the classic “T” look. There is a thin strap coming straight down from the middle of the back of the waistband, resting between the cheeks to form a “T”. There is no other fabric for the back, leaving everything exposed. You would not think this would be a comfortable pair of underwear to wear and that it is purely meant for the bedroom but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I was in it during my evening out.
I wear a medium and although there is not much fabric to determine whether or not things are truly to size, I did feel the waistband was on the tighter side but I had enough room and comfort in the pouch to offset any discomfort from the tighter waistband. The strap down the back did not pose any discomfort and to me was very unnoticeable.
All in all I was surprised that the underwear was more functional underneath a pair of jeans than anticipated. I definitely feel that this is a pair that you will wear with a purpose as I did. You can’t beat the design. It is so appealing to look at and that is what I love about underwear. Not all underwear is made for your basic everyday wear and that is what this is. I may still try to wear it throughout a work day coming up to see how it holds up. As I mentioned for this review, I wore this pair on a date and had a great time going through dinner knowing what was underneath my clothes. And at the end of the night, I think my date appreciated it too.

Next up on my 15 new brands in 2015 was to review Jor. Up until joining UNB I had never heard of Jor. Over the past year I had seen many pictures and write ups for Jor and decided it was time to try this brand. I was given the Fractal brief in orange to review. The first thing I noticed about this pair was the color scheme and design. There are some great geometric shapes covering this pair while they use an amazing color palette that is unlike anything I already own. The orange and purple combinations are so eye popping this pair will definitely stand out. A great way to add color to your underwear drawer. The waistband features a bold JOR logo with a star on it. Simple, yet fun and classy look to it.
As I felt the pair I could tell the material was a little different than I had felt on other pairs I owned as well. It’s a mesh pair and a nylon/spandex combination. I was curious how that would feel all day as it wasn’t much cotton like as my other pairs typically are. As I am discovering, Jor thrives on being different. When I slipped them on, I was surprised at how nice the material felt against the body. Impressed actually. I wear a medium and the fit was great. I have seen other reviews mention that the pair seems to fit large. I can see where people may think this so I would suggest going lower if you are on the cusp of sizes. I am a 32″ waist and the medium fit me great. I would not go down to a small. That being said, the pair held up great during my basic busy work day. One of the things I always look for in a great pair of underwear is how often I have to adjust myself, whether in the front or in the back. With this pair, I maybe only had to adjust myself twice. It never rode up and I never felt like my packages was smashed. So this pair had enough room in the front pouch to allow everything to be comfortable and sit where it needs to sit without any fancy gimmicks of enhanced pouches. The back covers the butt nicely and the material keeps great coverage throughout the day. Anytime you can wear a pair of underwear and not spend your day adjusting it is a winner in my book!
For my first Jor, I was quite pleased and impressed. I think the pair holds up great to everyday wear, offers a comfortable feel, and does a unique design to offer some variety to the classic underwear drawer.

Its been a long time since I got a new pair of Ergowear. The one pair I have is almost worn out and has been worn many times. The pair is around 10 years old, so I definitely got my money’s worth. So when I got the chance to replace it I jumped at the chance. I got to try the X3D Suave Bikini!
I was in Vegas when I tried this pair. So I knew it would bet a work out. I wore it during a day when I walked around 13,000 steps. Which equals to be around 6.5 miles. (I got this saying 2,000 steps are on average a mile). I started the day and had to head up to the Venetian to meet a brand. Then back to the hotel near the Mandalay Bay then to Old Vegas and walked (yes I said walked) up to the Neon Museum. Then around the Neon Musum. Then walked back to Freemont Street, then do Dinner at the Cromwell and then the day was done. So this got a big workout.
When I put the pair on I loved the fit. Being a fan of bikinis I loved how it fit in the waist and the pouch. The pouch is the incredible Erogwear pouch. Meaning they have created an ergonomically designed pouch to fit a man. This pair just confirmed how much I love the pouch they created. It holds you as you would naturally.
On my journey through out the day, the pair never lost its support or fit. Actually I think it was a bonus to wear while being so active. The waistband has a small band that if not done right could have sagged during the day. The fabric was great for the day as well. Made out of a cotton blend it kept me cool through out the day.
The best thing about Ergowear is the sizing chart. They have a graphic that tells you what size is best. It lists when you should get a larger size. So finding the right fit shouldn’t be hard. The sizing is spot on for what is listed. I am an XL and it fit me very well. I hope to be going back down in size soon!

It is no surprise to anyone who reads UNB that I have always been a fan of thongs. I love the sexy look and the feeling they give me. To me it is not a feminine pair of underwear. One brand of thongs that I have always admired but never worn was Clever. There is something about the way these thongs look on the model that is so mesmerizing. I only hoped I would be able to do them justice as those models do for them.
I finally received my first Clever thong and it was the blue Desert Thong. They are as beautiful in person as in the pictures! One thing that I love about Clever is how bold and large their waistband font is. It wraps around the waist with a presence that is so demanding and powerful. The thong features a cool wave design on the pouch in a blue on blue color scheme. The material is a nylon, spandex combination that is lightweight and feels good against the skin. The back of the thong is a wider Y shape that is appealing, especially for guys who are not a fan of the string like backs. It adds a little more coverage and appeal on the backside.
I slipped the pair on and decided to take them for a test run over the weekend. I noticed the waistband was tighter than a lot of my pairs I own. After getting myself adjusted into the thong, I also could tell that the front pouch was not as roomy as other underwear I have worn before. With that being said, this thong may not be for the well endowed man or you may want to try the next size up and see if you get additional room. Although the thong was tighter in some areas than I am used to, it was not an uncomfortable wear. I wore it for errands, lunch, and chores around the house. The back of the thong felt really great and I love the extra fabric at the top that holds the top of the bottom nicely. The thong held up well on my day and I did not feel much discomfort. At times I could feel the tightness of the waistband but not enough to make me want to take them off.
Overall this is a great looking thong. It is probably one of my best looking thongs in design. As far as comfort, it would not be my #1 go to for when I want to wear a thong but would definitely be in my top 5. If there could be a little more room for comfort in the front pouch and a slightly looser waistband, then there may be a different story.

Next up for my review was a new brand I had never worn before, Ergowear, but heard some positive reviews on this brand in the past. I always find it exciting yet nerve racking to try new brands. I received the Max Suave bikini in black which was very exciting. I love the look of bikinis. I am a fan of underwear that is skimpy and sexy and this cut is exactly like that. It reminds me of some other brands that have a similar cut and those pairs have always been some of my favorites. The side is strictly just a waistband and it offers full coverage and support in the front and back. The Max Suave brief offers some of the best technology and material in bulge support. This style offers a 3 dimensional pouch which creates such support and comfort that you wont believe your eyes.
I prepared the pair for another typical work day for myself. I always feel that if you can wear a pair to work for the whole day and it survives your daily routine, its a keeper. I know it can be scary to be away from home in a mysterious pair of underwear all day without another pair to help you out but its worth the risk to find a good pair of underwear. Upon opening the bikini, you immediately feel how soft this fabric is. The pair is made with a soft polyester, spandex microfiber. They also felt great on. Like I said, I love the feel of the skimpy bikini that reaches all the way up to the waistband on the sides. Sometimes, the extra material is just unnecessary and you appreciate a slimmer sexy look. The material feels very soft against the body. Everything laid in place quite nicely. The waistband has a really fun look to it with the font used for the brand name. Its nice to see something different that stands out different from the market. Sometimes these bikini cuts can cause some issues with having to adjust the back or front throughout the day. This pair held up nicely and I did not have to do any adjusting. Another bonus for my workday!
I wear a medium and to me Ergowear held up nicely to its size requirements The Ergowear Max line would be great for the well endowed man. I am average in that department but this underwear was made with the bulge in mind. The anatomically enhanced pouch for maximum support allows everything to be where it needs to be which is important for all men.
I really enjoyed this bikini. I wore the black one and they also offer it in mink. It’s a nice pair of underwear and would be nice to have more color selection, especially brighter colors that pop in your drawer. It’s priced at $25.73 which is expensive but with the soft fabric and the advanced technology for the pouch design I can see why its above its competition in price. I think Ergowear has a great visual look to it and they really take the man’s body into consideration when designing their underwear. I look forward to trying some new offerings from Ergowear and would recommend this pair to anyone looking for that soft, comfortable pair.

My conquest of 15 new brands for my underwear drawer in 2015 continues with Pump Underwear.
Pump Underwear has been #1 on my list for the past year. I have loved their look, advertising, and style but was always a little concerned that I may not like the mesh underwear. I did not have much experience with mesh underwear and the few that I had worn were not my favorite. That did not stop me from putting them at the top of my list and you can imagine my excitement when I received my first pair to review. I started off with the Raver Brief. I chose this brief because I love the color combination of the neon blue and green and look of the brief. To me, it looks like fashion meets athletic in the perfect combination for a man.
When I first opened the pair, I immediately noticed how soft they were. I expected the mesh to have a rougher feel but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t. I slipped them on and the softness continued. Once again, I did not entirely know what to expect with the mesh but this nylon, cotton, spandex combination is pure heaven. The pair fit great in all aspects. I wear a medium and was forewarned that their sizing is European, something I had not experienced before. The pair fit perfectly and was not too tight at all. I had great room and movement in the front pouch, giving me the support I wanted in a pair of underwear. It covers the back perfectly and feels great all the way around. There is even some added elastic in the leg opening which adds a little extra support, allowing the pair to sit exactly where it needs to, while even giving your butt a little lift and comfort.
As usual, I took this pair on a busy workday to see how it could hold up to a lot of movement. And how did it hold up? Amazingly! I never had to adjust the underwear and not one time did I feel any sort of discomfort. There was no riding up, discomfort, tight waistband, rubbing, or anything negative. I did everything from sitting to standing, walking, and even hitting the gym. It held up to the highest expectation I had for it. This is huge for every guy. The last thing we want is to be at work or out and about, having to adjust ourselves or pick at underwear that is riding or chafing. The Raver Brief allowed for great movement with no negative consequences. In fact, it even has great breathability with its micromesh material. You won’t be hot and sweaty with that added feature. When that happens, you know you found a special pair of underwear. I almost wanted to pinch myself to make sure it wasn’t a dream. Luckily, it was no dream, just a dream pair.
The only negative thing I can say about Pump Underwear is…..why did I wait so long to have you???? If you are looking for a fashionable yet athletic inspired pair of underwear. This is it. If you want comfort with style and finesse. This is it. All in all, this was the pair I was waiting for. To me, it was the perfect pair and one I want to become my go to pair of underwear for maximum comfort and visual appeal. I loved it. I can honestly say this is the best pair of underwear I have worn. Thank you Pump Underwear for making this amazing pair of underwear. I can’t wait to see more of what Pump has to offer.
