Time to gear up with Jockstrap Central’s Gear Up Sale. From now until Friday, March 2nd at midnight get up to 50% off hundreds of items. Jockstraps, jock briefs, underwear, sports fetish gear, wrestling singlets, gym shorts, fetish shorts, tank tops, full-frontal display gear and even cock rings are all marked down during the sale.

Brands included in the sale: Cellblock 13, Original Bike Jockstraps by Meyer, JC Athletic, PUMP!, Jack Adams, Nasty Pig, Papi, 4 Hunks Berlin, Raw Studio, Maskulo and Magic Silk

I won’t get into all the details, but definitely check out their Jockfighters brand. they’ve just put their entire collection of jocks, jock briefs, briefs and socks on clearance for 20% off. Jockstrap Central says: as much as we love Jockfighters and all their hot gear, they haven’t releases any new products for a few years so the shelve space is better used for some fresh new sports fetish gear heading your way soon.

Also on clearance and further marked down during the sale are both Cellblock 13 Xtreme Hybrid and Octane Fetish Shorts collections – both can be had for 20% off right now.

Finally, they still have a few Nasty Pig Union Suits in black in sizes small, medium and xlarge and they are 15% off right now.

As with any sale, shop early for the best selection. Shop Jockstrap Central: www.jockstrapcentral.com

Ok, this one I personally messed up. I posted the 2017 inductees into our Drawer of Fame. The server issues and have two lists of the winners. One with last years and one with this years! DOH! So these are our brands/retail sites we are inducing

GREGG HOMME

Where to begin with this amazing brand. They were founded in 1987 and have changed the world of underwear since. I have long said that Gregg Homme makes sexy underwear that is meant to wear. No matter what you do in their undies, you can almost guarantee you will be super comfy. Other fetish brands are made to be taken off after a few hours.

Their design philosophy is making the most comfortable, sexy underwear on the market. Well, that’s my take on them. One area they excel is fabric. They source some of the most amazing fabrics in men’s underwear. They have become a leader in fabric. They try new things such as laser cutting, long before other brands. GH is a true innovator in the area.

This is their description:

Positioned right between lust and fantasy, GREGG HOMME puts to use the latest technologies and pioneering material to create the extraordinary and fashionable styles from classics such as string underwear and briefs underwear to outrageous fetish wear. Specifically designed with men’s comfort in mind, GH relentlessly pushes the limits of balance between functionality, modernization and fashion. With GREGG HOMME comes a design anatomically shaped for the male body: all fits are specifically engineered for the utmost pleasure of not only the wearer but also the people around.

We think the qualities mentioned above make them a perfect entry into our Drawer of Fame!

DEAD GOOD UNDIES

Dead Good Undies is a retailer most readers should know on UNB. They do a weekly column “What’s Hot in the UK.” We have done this I think 2009. They profile some amazing underwear and gear each month. Launching in 2007, just one year older than UNB! They have been a staple on the internet and stood the test when other stores have come and gone.

The world of retail is not easy! Adam and Jane at Deadgoodundies.com have created a store that is known for amazing brands and styles. They always seem to be looking forward to what’s next. There have been many times over the last 10 years of UNB, that they have exposed me to new brands. Those brands include ManStore, Olaf Benz, Bruno Banani and more. They have a very different take on underwear from the US Centric one we have at UNB.

Founded in 2007, Deadgoodundies.com is a specialist men’s underwear and swimwear website dedicated to the best designer fashion brands from around the world. Launched by website and undies expert Adam Davies and fashion journalist Jane Garner, DGU has gained a reputation not just for having a top notch selection of men’s underwear styles – but also swift deliveries, excellent customer service and a willingness to make sure customers get the briefs, boxer briefs, slips, strings, thongs or trunks they want, when they want.

We look forward to working with DGU for many years to come!

Joe Snyder

When you think of thongs, one brand is synonymous with them, that brand is Joe Snyder. It has long had a loyal following in the world of men’s underwear. Their skimpy styles and bright colors are two things that really set this brand apart. They were also, I think, one of the first brands I noticed selling lace in the world of men’s underwear.

While Joe Snyder has never been one for creating massive lines, they focus on what they do the best. Bikinis and thongs! This includes just about every color in the rainbow. Where they lack in styles they more than makeup in the color department. Recent releases include the Pride Frame and Sock It collections build on the heritage of the brand!

If you get time go to the Joe Snyder site and read their “about” section. They have a very interesting story. Relaunching in 1991, they had a hard time reestablishing the brand, but they succeded and have become one of the top brands of thongs and bikinis in the world.

This year the weather has been insane. One minute it’s super cold the next unseasonably hot. Well, that has been the case in the ATL. Currently, we have almost 70-degree temps to be followed by 40-degree one’s next week. It makes me wonder how many of you guys change with the season? I know we have readers who are strictly thongs, bikinis or insert style. No matter what the temp is they are rocking their favorite.

Take me for instance. I don’t do seasonality. Usually, I’m a briefs guy. However, when it gets cold (below freezing), I will pick my underwear for the weather. It’s not uncommon to grab a pair of trunks or boxer briefs. I just want the extra bit of fabric for the warmth. The boxer briefs or trunks have great pouches. They feature Ergowear, Unico, Cocksox and such. Even when I go against the grain of my favorite pair I must have a pouch.

It’s got me curious how many of you guys wear something on cold days. It could be either for really cold days or during the winter (especially if you’re up north or in a really cold environment. And do you do the reverse in the warm months? I have worn long boxer briefs in summer and it was miserable.

I hope you will post in our poll below and we will post the results. We have gone back to Google Forms from our previous polling service. Their changes have increased issues with polls and tabulating them.

It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time to get some great deals on undies. It’s Baskit $12 Tuesday! This week’s pair is the Billy Boy Brief. You may be asking what’s so great about the Billy Boy Brief? The Billy Boy has a condom pocket. Baskit teamed up with the German Condom maker to make sure you were always prepared. This pair wasn’t the first from Baskit to feature a condom pocket! The line has three styles but the one on sale today is the Brief. Go shop and get some great deals.

When you think of prints one of the lines that should come to mind is JOR. JOR has some of the most amazing prints on the planet. They always create a full range of prints. It’s not just one pair, it’s across the line such as briefs, boxer briefs, trunks, tanks and more. They really give it a lot of thought. Each collection boasts about 5-6 new print lines a year.

One of the newest lines in the collection is the Miami collection. I personally love tropical prints in underwear. Its something that is not expected, with swimwear it’s a given but not in underwear. There is something about having a super fun tropical print underwear your pants at work. It makes me happy. But that’s just me!

The Miami print is flamingos. Maybe you didn’t hear me, they are FLAMINGOS. Right now I’m obsessed with everything Flamingo. I have a file holder on my desk painted in “Flamingo Feather.” This print is a green leaf print with flamingos! I love it. Mix that with the gold waistband and it’s a winner in my book.

I wish this line had a jock and thong included. A thong of this would rock. I think many thong fans would like to rock the flamingo too. Not to mention, imagine seeing a guy change at the gym wearing the Flamingo Jock! Would you wear this print to the gym? I’m starting back and may have to get one to try out and wear just to see what the reaction would be.

This is just one of the many new awesome prints. We plant to bring you a lot more on the collection. JOR has some great solids and other styles. Maybe one we will profile this coming Thursday. HINT HINT. I think you will definitely like the collection. Shop it at the JOR site.

Neoprene is a fabric that is in men’s underwear and swimwear a lot lately. The really cool thing is, it’s not necessarily fetish wear. There have been swim briefs, underwear and more. There is something about these pairs that are super fun! The shape of the pouch, the way it fits in the back, it just flatters a guy.

One of the new pairs is the Neoprene Bulge Tanga. Tanga is basically a string bikini with a waistband. There are no sides to the pair. You can check out more underwear 101 posts to find out more. As the name suggests it’s about the bulge! As I stated above neoprene just gives you an amazing bulge. It enhances what you have and pushes it out for the world to see. Which is not a bad thing at times. BodyAware says this about the pouch, “the shaped pouch and special seams on this alluring brief gives the wearer the appearance of bulging asset.”

This is a pair I want to try along with the Neoprene Bulge Brief they make. The brief can double as swimwear so I would assume this would too. The only thing I wonder is wearing this all day. Neoprene is not a breathable fabric. Maybe not wear in the middle of summer. But would you wear it to work? This is a pair I would wear selectively. For sure it would be a date night pair. I mean drop the pants for neoprene! Heck yeah!

If you’re in the market for some super fun undies. I think we have a winner right here. BodyAware makes some amazing and sexy undies! Step outside your box and try something new. Neoprene, Lace, Satin, Mesh…Just go for it!

FABRIC: 100% polychloroprene

Congrats to all the Winners

Mesh underwear is a favorite of many of you guys out there. Mix that with the pouch of Cocksox and we have some pretty amazing undies. This past week in Vegas I got a chance to check out the new Shredded collection from Cocksox. This is one of many things coming from Cocksox in the next few months! These pairs will be out March 5th and in preorder.

So what’s so different with this mesh? It’s not your ordinary mesh. From the Cocksox website. “Featuring exclusive Italian ultra-soft mesh fabric right around the body – the most revealing mesh ever seen on Cocksox underwear – and the signature enhancing comfort of the Cocksox Original Pouch.” I got hands-on with this pair and the mesh is pretty amazing. It feels great and each pair has an abstract pattern in the mesh. No two pairs are alike!

These come in colors but it’s just the waistband and trim. The mesh is a black and will show off what you have, depending on the pattern, you may show off more or less. The styles the Shredded line comes in is CX01SD Brief, CX16SD Bikini, CX68SD Sports Trunk, and CX76SD Sports Brief. The colors are Eclipse (red) and Atomic (yellow).

As I stated above this line will be released on March 5th. This line takes Cocksox to the next level of sexy. It always amazes me what Cocksox comes up with men’s underwear. They mix colors, fabrics with their classic designs and always seem to make something amazing.

If you are interested in getting this pair you can order it directly from the Cocksox website.

I had several discussions at Project/Magic about how popular thongs have become in the last year. 2017 was the year of the thong, without a doubt. Look at UNB, we have over half of our guys who love the design and wear them as much as possible.

One idea I had was to run more thong content. The best thing would be a thong review every Thursday. But this got me thinking that it would be costly as well. We used to get all our undies given to us by brands but in the last few years, we have started to buy more of what we review.

Here are the results of the survey:

95% of the guys who answered are a fan of thongs. This survey was open to all readers who liked or didn’t like Thongs

An overwhelming percentage, 93% want to see more thong content. I was expecting a high number but not this high.

An even larger amount want to see a thong review every Thursday.

We then asked who would support us in creating this content. It’s not surprising that only 38% of people wanted to support us financially

Mos guys would donate $1 but the $6-10 was a surprise. I was expecting the two low-end options to have the highest votes.

Currently we pull in 99% of our income via advertising. Anytime you click an ad and buy something you are supporting us! The other 1% is from Patreon. We have a great group of guys who have supported us for a while. This income supports the site with hosting for the year, subscriptions for services and some travel expenses (Las Vegas & Bham).

If we did do a thong review a week (including video reviews), the chart below is the rough break down for the year.

It would be about $1,300 for a thong a week. Yes, we may get some donated for review. And we want to let you guys pick some as well. So that could increase the costs.

Here are the ideas I have come up with:

  • Amount to make happen – To make this happen we need to raise $108 a month to cover these costs.
  • Perks for members – Above a certain donation level, they would vote on one thong a month to review. It would be nominated and voted on by Patreons
  • Swimwear Vs Underwear – how many pairs of swim vs underwear would you want to see? (this would be limited by the reviewer and time of year.

I”d love to get some feedback on those who would support it. Email us at info@underwearnewsbriefs.com

We are in the need of a web server guy! Preferably one who loves underwear! Our current IT guy doesn’t know a lot about servers and it’s done by the seat of his pants. (That guy is me!) We don’t have many issues but occasionally we do and it can be a simple fix or something more complex.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • A guy to review error logs monthly
  • Make suggestions to improve server
  • Make a plant to optimize server for performance
  • Help when issues arise

We don’t have too many issues lately. But having someone on staff would be great. Fill out the form and let’s talk. We can talk compensation and free undies!

I purchased a Narrow Push Out Thong from Beachndance in Metallic Mint Green for this review.

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Daily Fit: 9/10

Sizing: 10/10

Construction: 9/10

Styling: 9/10

Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros:

• HUGE color palette

• Customizable designs

• Frequent special offers if you sign up for their email

Cons:

• The only negative experience I have had with Beachndance suits is that the brighter colors I have ordered tend to fade quickly and bleed onto other clothing when they are wet. It is not an issue unless you wear a light color cover up to/from the beach or pool.

UNB Ryan recommendation: Take advantage of weekly offerings at Beachndance’s website for closeout deals, 2 for $40 deals, and discontinued fabric styles. Whether you want to build up your collection of swimwear, plan to incorporate some of these styles into your underwear drawer, or need some new suits to spice up your stage routine, Beachndance has something for everyone!

I ordered a Narrow Push Out Pouch Men’s Thong suit in Metallic Mint Green for this review.  I have been ordering swimwear from Beachndance for the past few years and am very satisfied with my experience with the brand.  Beachndance offers a unique custom order experience with their suits and will work with you to design almost anything you can imagine.  The fabric selection is one of the largest I have encountered in a custom swim manufacturer.  My experience in wearing thong swimwear has prepared me well for wearing this suit out in public, so it was right up my alley as far as comfort levels go.  While ordering this suit I immediately began to think about where I would wear them, what I would do in them, and what type of tan lines they would leave!

As soon as I pulled them out I immediately fell in love with the fit and look of the fabric.  I have previously worn this suit around the house to do chores, wash our cars, and cut the grass. The way the sunlight shimmers off of this fabric is unreal and is an eye catcher.  The mint green color is a stark contrast against a deep summer tan and I can’t wait for it to warm back up so that I can wear them outside again!  This suit feels great against the skin, accentuates your figure, and has a simple design that will look great on all body types!

Beachndance has done an outstanding job in providing top notch construction on this and all of the suits I have ordered from them.  The only thing that I would say about the fabric used is that if you order a brightly colored suit (pinks and reds primarily) then they have the tendency to fade quickly and/or bleed onto other light colored fabrics.  Many times I will wear a pair of square cut or booty style shorts over my thong when walking from the car to the beach or pool, and a couple of the lighter colors have bled through once I got them wet.

The customization options offered on Beachndance’s website are endless.  All suits are offered with the choice of four different back styles (bikini, cheeky, shortie, and thong) and I obviously chose the thong!  The pouch styles offered include basic, push out, and missile, and are offered in two different widths-moderate or narrow.  The strap styles are also customizable from ½”-2” along with varying back and front widths and rises.  The pouch I chose was a Narrow push out and it holds your package in more of a downward than outwards position, which is nice, because it allows you to wear the suit in more locations than if it were more of a straight out pouch design!

I bought this suit in a small, as I do with almost all swimwear and to no surprise it fits me perfectly.  All of Beachndance’s suits fit very true to industry standards.  The pouch on the size small fits me snugly, and the fabric used is supple and stretchy enough to allow for stretch throughout the day (or night) while swimming and sunning.  I have only ordered one suit over the past several years that fit any differently (just a little tighter,) and I attribute it to the fabric being a little bit less stretchy than normal, so it’s not anything that would prevent me from ordering again in the future.

Give Beachndance a try for your swimwear this summer, and I am confident you won’t be disappointed.  Their suits have held up well for me, in both the ocean and pool environments with minimal elastic fade or fabric breakdown.  The customization options are almost endless, and they will work with you to come up with a suit that compliments you and your unique style.  Whether you want a sexy thong or bikini, or something in between, you will find something at Beachndance’s website!

French label L’Homme Invisible has just released a new video featuring the latest and upcoming lines of its Winter 2018 collection. Together with the video, the Paris based label, released two campaigns for the exquisite Manta and Imperial lines of supreme quality underwear and t-shirts.

There are often flurries of interest in new colours, new collections or new styles of men’s underwear and swimwear selected by Deadgoodundies.com. But even DGU was taken by surprise when its pictures of men’s one-piece body designs created a positive avalanche of attention on Pinterest (interestingly mostly from America!). Something very special happens when a man slips into a second skin all-in-one. The finer the fabric, the more he reveals beneath a sensual shadow of colour. A vest top is the ultimate torso enhancer, while a t-shirt topped cotton ‘onesie’ has a more earthy appeal. Any seamless top-and-bottom combo creates the smoothest base for any clothes. Every man should try one…

HOM’s anniversary special all-in-one underwear for men has a unique difference – the brand’s famous, patented HO1 horizontal opening. So no worries about easy access when nature calls.

HOM INSIDER SHORT JUMPSUIT £48.00

Smooth as skin itself. Olaf Benz have had bodies in their men’s fashion collection for years, so they’re pretty good at getting them right! This sporty underwear option comes in black or white, but also two true colours – a brilliant blue and green.

OLAF BENZ RED 0965 SPORT BODY

Admirable in so many ways – vest front, racer back, smooth across the back and bum, shapely where it matters at the front, and neat shorts onto the thigh. And a brilliant sandy interpretation of current fashion favourite camo.

MODUS VIVENDI DESERT SINGLET £47.00

A true male leotard with proper poppers at the gusset for easy access and exit! For men who love the look and feel of lace, this is the one.

MANSTORE M705 V-NECK BODY £135.00

Going out on the prowl? Add a touch of leopard print with this one piece – gently enhancing front, higher cut across the butt and sultry, slinky fabric.

MANSTORE M665 CHEEKY BODY £62.00

Take the one-piece look to a whole new level in this magnificent bodysuit. Expresses a different character in each colour – top to toe black, olive or tabasco. Super hero material for sure.

MANSTORE M510 ATHLETIC SUIT £80.00
