  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros: Looks good, neat flourishes.

Cons: Not the most breathable or streachy.

Underweardude Recommendation: If you are looking for an interesting, non ergonomic pouch. A skimpier cut brief with bit of personality to it. Give this pair a try.

Hi  all, Underweardude here. Today i’m reviewing an interesting pair. N2N sent this pair for review. When I first saw the N2N Lounge brief, I was intrigued. For a few years now N2N has been making pairs with the idea of them being good for sleeping. Or lounging around the house in. Is the lounge brief good for lounging around the house in, and can it handle a full day as well? Read on to find out.

Made from a 95% Rayon, 5%Spandex, blend, the pair is quite soft. The material has some stretch, but not a whole lot. It doesn’t matter too much, except that it makes the pouch w little more restrictive at times. Speaking of the pouch, this pouch is not the N-hance pouch that N2N is known for. Rather, it is a contoured pouch where the center vertical seam is only on the bottom half of the pouch.  Very similar to the Almost Naked line by Andrew Christian. N2N calls this a seamless front pouch.  So if you were looking for a pair to really showcase your goods, look elsewhere. The pouch is fine, and I feel like this kind of pouch is better fitting for this pair. You aren’t trying to show off, you are just hanging out. Construction and sticking is up to N2N’s usual high standards. Though in some places on the inside elastic can be slightly seen, but that’s not a deal breaker.

This pair is also different from many past N2N pairs due to the adornment the pair carries. The size/care tag is an almost chocolate gold,. Rather than the usual plain white.  Which I have never seen before on an N2N pair. A small branded tag sits on the right hip of the pair as well. Metallic grey with that same gold forming the lettering. It looks nice, but I’m not quite sure why the outer logo tag was necessary, as much of what N2N makes isn’t branded. Still, it is an interesting touch.  That does help to make an otherwise black brief interesting.

The cut helps make this pair different as well. While called a brief. It’s barely there waistband and high cut legs make it practically a bikini brief. I wasn’t a huge fan of the look at first, but it’s grown on me. The pair sits just right on the hips, too. Not too low, not too high. I am a fan of the thin, stylish waistband. You almost don’t notice that its there when you first see the pair. The back is basically a normal full back that you would expect from a brief.  Though on me I found the lower part to be slightly too small, but just. The size small pair I received was a little bit tighter than N2N usually is at first. That may be due to the midwestern diet I had on my recent vacation. I am also right in that dead zone between S and M, so sizing is kind of a crap shoot for me.

I wore the Lounge Brief on a somewhat busy weekday with a meeting and long hours of work, and it worked pretty well. My only real complaint is that it isn’t the most breathable pair. Not unbreathable, but I wouldn’t wear this pair to go exercising in either.

So how does the pair do when living up to its name and lounging about? Well, I’m not one for lounging around in just my underwea.  I don’t think you really need a particular pair for that. The pair performs admirably in that regard. I tend to think for that you would want something comfortable but still looks good, and the Lounge Brief hit’s that mark. This pair will definitely be worn again. I think it is a fine pair for everyday wear, and will be going into my everyday drawer.

11800285_895226330556325_1415048249521282339_nWhat got you initially interested in photography?

Started as a game, Modeling first for other beginner photographers, then I was directing them what to do, decided to get a camera and got lucky, a lot of people starting liking my work.

When did you turn your eye to the world of underwear/Swimwear?

Since the beginning, started with a group of friends.

Describe your photography style for us.

My style?… Always finding the Sexy side in every person.

Shoots are a lot of work to set up and get right, what has been one of your biggest accomplishments in photography?

Yes its a lot of work, I think having my work feature in different parts of the globe, lots in Europe and Australia.

You have shot so many great pics last year do you have a picture you’re most proud of? If so which one and why is it special?

I think all of them are special, every person touch my heart with their life stories. can’t select only one.

Things can go wrong on shoots such as weather, models not showing and wardrobe malfunctions. What is the biggest problem you had on a shoot and how did you over come it?

I have a phrase that I apply every day.. WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE, you can say, I need this or that to make this photoshoot work, one time we didn’t have lighting, we were outdoors and we only use the moonlight (Thank God was a Full moon) and turned out amazing.. also I can tell you, out biggest problem is Las Vegas Hot Weather. almost kill us everyday during the summer.

Do you have any favorite models you like working with? If so which ones?

My favorite, is those ones that are very creatives and willing to do anything to get an amazing shot, the ones that are crazy like me and say, thats crazy and I want to do it.

Which brands have you worked with and are there any brands you want to work with?

I have several, N2N, Tito Jimmy, 2Eros, PetitQ, Supawear, WearMeUnder, CA RIO CA, Team8, RHunter, BWet, Sly Underwear and many More.

Creativity is key to making a great shoot, how do you approach a studio vs a location shoot?

It depends on the project, sometimes you have to do it on the studio, and its easier to manage the lighting and ambient, sometimes its better and fun doing it outdoors.

You have shot so many great guys, what advice can you give models to being in front of the camera for a shoot?

To Relax, Let the Photographer worry, be Yourself, don’t try to pose and fake a smile, follow directions, and always keep doing photoshoots, you never know when you can hit a big chace.

Who is your ultimate “get” in photography, who would you love to shoot?

Ricky Martin!!

What do you do in your down time when not in front of the camera?

Usually always doing things related to photography, looking for props, new locations, inspirations, books, social media, friends, workout, cooking, Talk to my mom on the phone (Everyday lol)

When you were coming up as a photographer what is the best advice you were ever given?

One that I always remember.. Don’t Quit.. Keep Doing it.

Where can our readers see your work?

Hey Kinksters,

This week has been rough. No matter who you are, you’ve experienced it in some way. I am not gonna go on a political rant about the situation. This column is about how to feel sexy and look sexy while doing kinky things. In, light of us all needing a little bit of uplifting support. I’m gonna be talking about a new line of boxer briefs by Fort Troff!

Now, before I go into detail talking about the boxer briefs. I want to let you all in on a great donation set up that Fort Troff has dedicated. They have created a Orlando Tragedy Fund on their site that is a $10 donation to the LGBT Center of Central Florida. BUT WAIT! For every $10 donation you give to Fort Troff’s fund, they are MATCHING it. That’s right. You give $10, and Fort Troff doubles it to $20. I got an email last night that they have already raised $6,200. That means they are donating $12,400 already. Click here to donate (they made this page safe for work, just don’t go wandering around if you’re at work).

FortTroffShrapnel1

So, let’s get back to the undies. I’d like to officially welcome Fort Troff  to the Fetish Friday family (they were my FIRST Fetish Friday post, but that was something I already had lying around). They sent over a big bag of goodies, so you’ll be hearing about more of their stuff in time.

FortTroffShrapnel2

The Shrapnel Boxer Brief features a super sexy punched metal design. You get a three pack of Gold, Blue and Green. Fort Troff really searched to find a great fabric, and ended up at the same factory that supplies UnderArmour with fabric. Then developed their own. It is an 84% polyester/16% spandex blend. Very breathable tiny mesh fabric. It has great lift and support of the goodies, and I have been wearing them all week (well three of the days so far). I never had to adjust, or pull the legs down once). There is also supremely attractive stitching to give your butt a really nice presentation.

FortTroffShrapnel3

I love these so much. They come in a few other styles, the jocks I also got, so I’ll be writing about those too soon.

The Boxer Brief three pack is sold for $55 and you get a bonus Fort Troff Raw Grunt Cock Ring (which I fully support).

Until next time, keep it kinky.

Also, like a good pouch, please hold each other up. No matter who you/they are. We all need it.

TtheAmazing, over and out!

Friend of the site Noel Photo Studio has a new GoFundMe for his calendar for a cause. The procedes of the calendar will go towards Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN).

“My name is Noel Dahl, and I am photographer based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I am excited to announce that my company, Noel Studio Photography, LLC, is starting a new project that I would love you to be a part of. I am creating a fundraising calendar featuring some of Las Vegas’ sexiest performers and entertainers, in which all of the proceeds will go directly towards Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN). I am writing to you to invite you to be a part of the creative process.

Throughout my years as a photographer, I have had the privilege of shooting countless men for my own portfolio, but I have always strived to find a way of utilizing my photography skills to give back to the Las Vegas community. I hope to make a change with this project. I hope to bring together local talent, the photographer community, and with the help of a few graciously supportive company sponsorships, I hope to rally support for the HIV/AIDS community and unite the LGBT community in Las Vegas.

AFAN, founded in 1984, is the largest AIDS Service Organization in Nevada and has been providing services to people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS for over 30 years. The organization works to reduce HIV infection through prevention education to eliminate fear, prejudice, and the stigma associated with the disease. AFAN continues to strive to enhance the physical health and psychological wellness of the individuals we serve, while promoting their dignity and improving the quality of their lives.

This project will combine my skills as a photographer with the incredible talent and beauty of Las Vegas performers. The calendar will offer advertisement and promotional opportunities to participating companies in exchange for a tax-deductible monetary donation to the project. 100% of the project’s proceeds will go directly to AFAN, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit company. The calendar will feature a collection of Las Vegas’s sexiest and most talented male performers from the Las Vegas Strip promoting your company’s brand and your company’s products. By backing this project, I am ensuring a wide reach of your company’s name to the consumer market while also giving back to an incredible organization.

My team and I would ask you to consider becoming a sponsor for this fundraising opportunity. We have attached a further description of sponsorship and donation opportunities, but please do not hesitate with any questions that we may answer regarding AFAN or the calendar project. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity, and your thoughtful consideration of AFAN.

Most Sincerely,

The Noel Studio Photography, LLC Team”

Take time to check out the GoFundMe. We will have an interview with him tomorrow

Hello readers, we’re going to get straight to the point today with Nate on the Pouch Couch.

Beau: Usually I save this question for later but let’s get right to it, are there examples of pouches that aren’t functional but fun that you own?

Nate: No, not really. I have some that don’t support me as I like, but nothing out of the ordinary about the pouches of the underwear I own. Guess I’m a bit boring there.

Beau: There is nothing “boring” when it comes to undies, no matter what, they’re fun to someone.

Beau: Anything changed with your preference over time?

Nate: No, my pouch preference hasn’t changed, since I started wearing bikinis and thongs.

Beau: Which brands make your favorite pouches?

Nate: Prevail Sport, Kiniki, BodyAware, Dietz all make pouches that work for me. Others do too, but those are some of my main brands.

Beau: Going off of that, what are some of your favorite pouches?

Nate: Prevail Sport’s String Brief is my favorite cut of bikini underwear and the pouch suits me fine, which is a basic contoured pouch. A flat front one from BodyAware called The TLC Brief is a snugger fit, but still comfortable and excellent support.

Beau: What is the most important thing you look for in a pouch?

Nate: Mainly I just want good support, so I’m not flopping or moving around and have to adjust myself.

Beau: So with that in mind, do you want strong structure or loosey goosey?

Nate: I typically want structure. I like everything held in place. A little flexibility is okay like when lounging around.

Beau: What defines the perfect pouch in your mind?

Nate: As long as it holds everything in place I’m not too picky. Can be a typical contoured pouch or a flat front as long as the material is right for the designed job of supporting.

Beau: How does the look of a pouch influence you?

Nate: The pouch doesn’t really play too much of a role in picking on a pair other than I want one that looks supportive. I look more at other aesthetics like the width of the sides and amount of back or nonback coverage. I guess there is one thing that I do like, but doesn’t break the deal is when they have a centered flat seam connecting the two pieces of the contoured pouch together.

Beau: Any last thoughts while you’re on the Pouch Couch?

Nate: Just have fun experimenting with different pouches and find what you like best. That is one thing fun about underwear is trying out new styles and design. Some will be a hit and some will be a miss.

Hopefully more hits than misses.

Beau: YES! That’s what I’m always saying, go out there and experiment. There’s new stuff coming out every day so get out there and explore.

MCK516 1K MBFMO-NV1 SIt’s Time to celebrate the Jock on Jockstrap Wednesday. One of the newest in the jock line are the McKillop Max Bulge Jock. It’s not a jock but a jock brief. Which we consider still part of the Jock family. McKillop has made some really fun pairs lately and this looks super fun.

The Max Bulge is part of the Max Bulge line. McKillop says “Stand up and say hello with our Max Bulge collection. Not only will you look amazing the sensation under your boys is out of this world. BUT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ! They are called MAX for a reason. WOW !” It has a pouch that will show it all off!

The line has a solid and a mesh fabric. The solid fabric is made out of a Modal 92% Lyra 8% blend. The mesh is made out of  Nylon 90% Lycra 10% (mesh items). Modal is one of my favorite fabrics in men’s underwear. It breathes with you and conforms to your body. It’s one of the most perfect fabrics made for men’s underwear.

Let’s talk about the bulge. This is a pair that is going to show off everything you have. Because it’s designed too! If you’re not a fan of showing off what you have, we wouldn’t recommend this pair. I know many of our readers love a great pouch. This one should rank up there on the pouch scale. It’s one that has been put on my list.

The Max Bulge Jock comes in 8 color options. The colors are black, navy, orange, pink, red, royal blue, white and yellow. Which is a wide range of colors. All available at the McKillop website.

Bermuda MailChimp OrlandoAs the world comes together in support for our LGBTI community, in the wake of the terrible shooting this week in Orlando, Florida, we have seen many heartfelt messages and offers of support.

Both as a reporter of underwear news and brands in general it’s perhaps no surprise that the British LGBTI supporting brand with a cheeky name of Bum-Chums is at the forefront to offer their support. As well as supporting LGBT events and appeals directly, they have offered the following.

They have vowed to give you 15% Discount for this month and next and they vow to pledge 15% of any sale using the code: ORLANDO to the Orlando Victim’s appeal in Florida.

Speaking from the United Kingdom, Craig, the hands-on owner of Bum-Chums told us “I’ve just spoken with David Costa at Equality Florida in the USA today and pledged to give whatever support our small but proud gay-brand company can offer”.

Craig has not always boasted in the past of helping Pride events, nor of their charitable donations only recently supported the Tampa Pride event in Florida and continues to do what he can for similar events as far away as Johannesburg, South Africa. Bum-Chums is only a very small, independent brand from the UK, but with a big heart and lots of enthusiasm to make sure they operate ethically, including manufacturing in-house to avoid slave labour abroad.

“I offered David at Equality Florida that we would send to their Go Fund Me Account online. We vow to donate 15% of any sale using the code to their fund, as well as reward our customer for helping with 15% themselves. People can also see the link to donate without buying pants too. We just want to do our bit.”

Equality Florida as well as being an active participant in political work for equality in the USA are also coordinating and providing mush needed support including counselling for those affected by the tragedy.

On behalf of everyone here, we’re proud to be associated with brands who help and support others, and send our thoughts and prayers to those so badly hurt and devastated by these sad, sad events.

DC5-16-26N2N Bodywear furnished the DC5 SLIK G in a nice rich deep teal color for review.

Rating: 9.4/10
Daily Fit: 9/10
Sizing: 10/10
Construction: 10/10
Styling: 9/10
Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Great back cut
Cons: No real cons, but only available in 4 colors

I’m pleasantly surprised with the fit of the DC5 Slik G thong (furnished by N2N Bodywear). I was a little concerned about the pouch being too roomy after my experience with the N2N Vintage G, but the Slik G’s pouch is right on to my liking. N2N calls it a seamless front pouch, which is the look that it gives you of a smooth front pouch. The pouch does have some stitching at the base of the pouch to give it some contouring.

I really like the back cut of this thong. It’s a little skimpier than a traditional cut thong where the sides come to create the tail. You know where you get the triangle right above the cheeks. How it is cut, you don’t have a lot of fabric between the cheeks at the top. The tail is a pretty consistent width all the way down through the cheeks. You still get the sexy traditional thong look for your backside with the Slik G. You do feel you have a thong on with these. I think it is part to the thickness of the elastic that is used, but it’s still comfortable. They just give you the reminder you are a stud in a thong.

Here’s some specifics about the thong. The thong feature a small N2N logo tag on the right hip. I find this refreshing from the blazing elastic waistbands promoting brand names. The tail is about 7/8″ wide and the sides are about 1″. The pouch does seem pretty supportive. I’d consider wearing them for something active like sports. They’re made out of 92% polyester and 8% spandex, which gives them a silky or satiny feel with some stretch. The N2N brand is made in Los Angeles. It’s available in 4 colors: brown, teal, dark gray, and slik sand.

Only modification I’d make to the thong is a little narrower front pouch. That would not stop me from getting the thong in another color though. Overall this is a great fitting thong and I would recommend giving one a try.

Brand: N2N Bodywear

full-kit-gear-steam-briefs-27Holy hotness! Full Kit Gear debuted these jock briefs at last month’s IML and they were an immediate hit and now you can get them at Jockstrap Central. We’re not entirely sure where the name STEAM BRIEF comes from but it could be based on some of the stunning steampunk color combinations but it’s most likely because the open back design displays your bubble butt to perfection and lets you ventilate when things get steaming hot. Here’s the details:

The front is like a mid-rise brief with a generous contoured pouch design. The fabric is mostly cotton with a hint of Elastane so the fit is flawless. The back is a brief-style back but with the ass cut out.

With a solid base color with contrasting piping that edges the pouch and rear-opening showcasing and highlighting everything you’ve got.

If all that weren’t enough, the waistband is pretty spectacular too: It’s got multiple contrasting color horizontal sports stripes with the iconic FK logo front and center.

This is the epitome of sports fetish underwear made with Full Kit Gear’s usual impeccable attention to detail and quality – all this for only $24!

It’s great for everyday underwear, play, or next week’s underwear party – this open back brief is sure to make you feel your best and turn a lot of heads! And speaking of turning heads – head over to Jockstrap Central and check out their hot n’ hairy ginger muscle cub Zack Acland in the new gear – he certainly does that open back justice – grrrr

Hello Kinksters,

I hope you are all doing well. This past week was a great week. I started working on a new and exciting skill with my duo trapeze partner (if you’re new to the game, I’m a professional circus artist). I also got to see Cirque Du Soleil’s Kurios, which I can verify, is quite awesome (the first featured act is my favorite). Lastly, the thing that led me to today’s post, is that I got hired to work (I’ll be vague for fun) a bachelorette party. My coworker and I, both gentlemen of the highest regard, want to dress up fancy and formal for them. At the time, I was also wondering what to write about for Fetish Friday. When I remembered an item I received from Maskulo a couple weeks ago, that I was waiting to write about. Today, I’m going to profile, Maskulo’s Rubber Look Boxer Briefs in Black… What I’d like to rename…

Fetish Friday’s Official L.B.D. (Little Black Drawers).

MaskuloLBD1

Now for those of you who don’t know the L.B.D. It is a term used in women’s fashion to abbreviate the term “Little Black Dress”. It is reserved for simple black dresses that are not too flourishy. But have enough allure to work in any style environment. They cannot be too plain, but they can’t be gowns either. This Maskulo Boxer Brief in my mind is the fetishy Little Black Dress Drawers.  Because while it is simple and elegant. It is still very sexy, and the pouch and fabric give it that extra edge to be elevated from a 4B (Basic Black Boxer Briefs). Ok, maybe I’m just having too much fun with word play.

MaskuloLBD2

Maskulo’s Boxer Briefs are made out of a leather-like spandex material (80% Nylon/20% Spandex). They have their signature white background waistband with Maskulo woven right onto the front and center. The part that is uniquely Maskulo is the pouch. Front and center is their quilted pouch, sewn down the sides and base, but open in the top. This is to give assistance with getting your package through the inner pouch wall. Which sits flat on the body and has a horizontal slit to lift your junk out front and center into the contoured pouch. (See below for diagram)

MaskuloLBD5

I love this pair so much. The fabric while leather-look is super light and breathable. The pouch is super sexy as every Maskulo pouch I have has been. They make my butt look fantastic (I like to say I’m starting with a really high quality canvas, but the art is great too). It could go well in a spandexy look, a leathery look (throw a harness on and call it a day). Maybe a sexy waiter role-play (just add a bow-tie). Or you could just wear it under your dress pants for the day and feel extra sexy.

MaskuloLBD4

The pair goes for $52 USD on the MASKULO site. I need to acknowledge how much I love them. When I first agreed to helm the Fetish Friday column and make it a regular weekly piece. I wrote to every company I could think of, trying to make connections, andBMaskulo was one of the first to write back.  They have been so gracious and helpful, not just in offering products to write about. but to discuss their mission statement and their human rights work. A great A+ for customer service to the Maskulo team.

Ok my kinky lovelies, go out there and feel sexy and fantastic.

Until next time folks,

Keep it kinky!

TtheAmazing, over and out (and proud!)

This pair was furnished for this review by Maskulo.

Beau: We’re back drawing up our perfect drawers on the Pouch Couch. This week Salvatore is painting us a Pouch Perfect Picture.

Beau: What is the most important thing you look for in a pouch?

Salvatore: Because I am totally into the anatomical pouch—actually obsessed, this is key and crucial for my selection of underwear.  Certain brands specialize in this natural feel and look. Other brands sometimes stumble upon the same affect accidentally.

Beau: What defines the perfect pouch in your mind?

Salvatore: Synonyms for “perfect pouch”—Anatomical, Ergonomical, Natural: These words define my perfect pouch.

Beau: Do aesthetics play a role in picking out a pair/pouch?

Salvatore: I’d have to say that aesthetics plays a small role.  Everyone wants to look great in underwear.  However, the comfortable feel of hanging naturally in your underwear is the key selling point for me.

Beau: What are some examples of great pouches?

Salvatore: One discovery that I made several months ago was N2N’s Lounge Brief was on clearance, so I bought a pair. N2N has an anatomical line known as NHance.  The Lounge Brief does not belong to that line. I expected to not be able to wear the Lounge Brief, but they were so cheap, so I bought a pair anyway. When I put them on, the modal fabric was so slinky that the anatomical affect happened. I was shocked and went and bought every other color that they had in the brief. This is probably one of my top 10 briefs of all time. I discovered their awesomeness by accident. The N2N 2016 Spring Line added three new colors. I’m sure I will be making the purchase soon.

Beau: Which brands make your favorite pouches?

Salvatore:

  • N2N NHance
  • Anything Obviously
  • Anything Ergowear (Awesomeness!)
  • John Sievers is incredible!
  • Agacio
  • Bodyaware has some great anatomical undies (I like some of their more skimpy tangas)
  • Andrew Christian Almost Naked
  • Clever has a couple of pairs
  • Sukrew

TO NAME A FEW

Beau: Yaass! I love a good Pouch List.

Beau: Where do you stand on structure vs. flexibility?

Salvatore: Anatomical pouches are designed to give your boys the natural structure the way they were created to hang.  The flexibility comes in the type of fabric used in the underwear. This is not an either/or for me.  It is a both/and.  Excellent anatomical pouches are both structured and flexible.

Beau: Have your pouch preferences changed at all over time?

Salvatore: Definitely! 25 years ago, when I started my underwear collecting obsession, I bought whatever I could get my hands on. About 6 or 7 years in, I was introduced to Undergear’s Contour Collection. This led to 2(x)ist and Calvin Klein’s contoured pouches. I thought I was in pouch heaven.  In 2011, I received my first pair of truly Anatomical Pouch Briefs from the Andrew Christian Almost Naked line.  I WAS TOTALLY HOOKED.  Since then, I have ditched nearly 100 pairs of non-anatomical pouch underwear and replaced nearly my entire collection.  I AM AN ANATOMICAL POUCH EXPERT!

Beau: Are there examples of pouches that aren’t functional but “fun” that you own?

Salvatore: No.  I don’t own anything but Anatomical Pouches.

Beau: Some people would classify those under “fun” so we’ll call that even!

Beau: Anything else you’d like to add to the pouch?

Salvatore: I recently met someone on Twitter that asked about my expertise in Anatomical Pouches.  He decided to order a pair. Upon receipt, he threw all of his underwear away and has started exclusively owning anatomical pouches. They have a way of driving you to do insane things.

If you are interested in the journey, I recommend buying one of each of the three pouches that Ergowear makes.  They know pouches, do them as well as anyone else, and give you enough variety to test your limits.

You can follow me on Twitter @manatomicallyme and pick my brain about my obsession.  Thanks for reading!

Beau: Alright, whoever gets Salvatore for Secret Santa this year knows exactly what kind of undies to get him. This continues to add to the great conversations we’re having on the Pouch Couch. I myself tend to not favor the anatomical pouches so it is so great to hear much more about them.

Next week we’re joined by the one and only Nate, right here on the Pouch Couch.

Well not exactly but their new collection is called Poseidon. It brings a mesh pair into the line up. But don’t worry, it’s a mesh pouch not fully mesh. Jason at 2EROS just creates amazing color combinations and styles. Every line builds from what he’s learned in previous ones. And I really love this line.

Here is what 2EROS says about the new new collection.

Poseidon features 2EROS CURV Technology which offers unrivalled comfort and an enhanced but natural lift. This collection has fishnet like mesh, exposing parts of your V line and a single layer front pouch. Poseidon’s bold colour palette combined with its daring and revealing design is alluring and seductive and not for the faint hearted.

What is the 2EROS CURV Technology? More brands are starting to pay attention to the pouch. This is partly, I feel, the brands want great underwear and customers are wanting a great pouch. The official definition is “is designed with a single layered scoop which lifts, contours and shapes everything in a natural way. The CURVed shape of the bodywear pouch is designed to not only give you a natural lift but to create a ‘contact-less’ support to reduce chaffing and sweating. Every pair of 2EROS is ergonomically designed to give you the right amount of room and support in all the right places.” This is an initiative we fully agree.

The new collection comes in brief, jock and trunk. These are pretty standard styles for 2EROS. Each pair has a mesh panel. The brief has a panel that goes around the back. It shows off just enough at the top. This design element they have used in some of their swimwear. It’s a signature of the brand. The trunk has mesh sides that go around the back but leaves a lot more to the imagination. Lastly is the jock. It just has two mesh panels on the side.

This is a super fun line. It will be released in the next week! Stay tuned for more!

The Bottom Drawer Underwear Collection and ManagementA reader asked about the size of our collections and how we manage them in terms of deciding what to keep, what to wear on a daily basis, etc. Here’s kind of how I handle mine. First off, I use to think I had a large collection of underwear. That perception changed some, since I started blogging. I’ve heard the amount of what others have and it seems I need to go on a buying binge. At the moment I’m approaching 175 pairs of bikinis and thongs. I’m slightly weighted more towards bikinis than thongs, but not by much.

I first separate my underwear into what I call old, but still good to wear and then my good ones. So I have about 125 I consider good and 50 I consider old. Now the old pairs I wear more when I’m planning on getting sweaty, since sweat can be hard on the material and elastic. The good obviously would be my everyday pairs. When does good become old and old become retired? Basically old underwear gets retired if the elastic is shot or develops a hole. Good underwear becomes old if it has been around a while, fades, or gets discolored. Also any general signs of wear or one I don’t really wear much and don’t care about.

What I choose to wear for the day normally just depends on my mood in the morning. If I’m in the mood for a thong I go for it otherwise it will be a bikini. Some days I want a real nice snug fitting pair; other days just whatever. If I know I’m going to be active like playing a sport then it will be a great supporting pair. If I know I might be seen in my undies then I most likely won’t go too crazy with my choice. Typically that means no thong and nothing too loud or sheer. I’m finally past the point that I don’t care too much if I’m seen in a bikini that is a little on the skimpy side. Now it doesn’t mean I try to let the world see, but if someone gets a peek so be it. Next step is to get to that point with a thong. I’m not one to match my underwear to my outfit. I have enough trouble matching tops and bottoms as is. I try to match for the holiday or occasion, since my wife points out when I don’t. That’s the general idea on how I manage my undies.

The Billy line from aussieBum has become a staple of the brand. Since the release of the first pair, the Billy has been known for really fun prints. Now the range comes in Eternity and Skulls. These definitely live up to the past pairs of the style. Remember the 80’s inspired prints?

The Billy is for the guy who wants a minimal waistband. I know we have plenty of readers who are not big fans of a waistband. It also has one of the best examples of a modern bikini. The cut has no fly, in a brief cut and the minimal waistband makes it complete. The hipster was released shortly after the brief. It has the same minimal waistband as the brief.

The Eternity line is a bandana print. Meaning it looks like a classic bandana. At least that’s the way I see it. You could say it is sort of a paisley print as well. It’s one type of print that is rarely used in underwear. We see it pop up every now and then. aussieBum really put their spin on it and it came out great! Colors are Black, Navy, Ice and red.

If you aren’t a fan of the Eternity maybe the Skulls is for you. It’s not as morbid as you might think. Skulls in underwear can be very hit or miss for me. The ones I tend to like are the Day of the Dead inspired ones. These are more traditional but not too creepy. I would say it takes a certain kind of guy to pull these off! Colors are Blue, Black, Aqua and Red

The pairs retail $13.50 for the brief and $14.25 for the hipster. Also you can find the Billy in other colors and prints on the aussieBum site. Now go shop for some awesome undies from down under! Also be sure to check out the new swim ranges!
