Men’s Underwear

Category

activeman-underwear-sale-email

The bad news is Activeman has stopped production on their phenomenal ergonomically designed, incredibly comfortable and super affordable range of underwear which include a sports brief and fitted modal trunk. The good news is everything we have left is now on clearance for 25% off. For those of you (and there are lots) who have made these your daily underwear, you’re going to want to stock up because they’re not coming back.

Activeman, a company known for it’s affordable traditional jockstraps, broke into the men’s underwear market big time with their brief and fitted trunk. Underwear that puts a guy’s unique anatomy and his comfort up front. While both the Activeman Sports Brief and Modal Liberty Trunk have contoured pouches and stylish comfort waistbands, the two underwear styles are totally unique:

The Liberty Trunk is constructed of one of the most exciting fabrics out there: Modal. Modal is a processed bio-based textile made from the beech tree. In many ways, a modal acts like cotton but with the advantages of rayon. It’s soft, smooth and breathes well. It is cool to the touch and very absorbent with a resistance to shrinkage. Modal is also less likely to fade or to form pills as a result of friction and stays soft through repeated washings. Of course, our favorite feature of modal is simply it’s stretchability and it’s nature to expand adapting to anything that may pop up!

The Activeman Sports Brief is constructed of a sturdy but stretchy cotton with a touch of Elastane for the ultimate fit. The fully formed and roomy ergonomic 3d pouch ensures the utmost in comfort for a guy.

This quality of underwear at this price is unheard of: The Liberty Trunk is now on sale for $11.21 and comes in both white and black. The Sports Brief is now on sale for only $9.71 and comes in black, white and grey. At this price our remaining stock will be gone in no time.

SUKREW JOCKSTRAP AND UNDERWEAR CLEARANCE SALE – 20% OFF THE WORKS

Out with the old and in with the new so they say. We’re getting ready to launch a whole slew of new Sukrew designs so to make room we’ve discontinued all our existing ones and put them on clearance for 20% off until they’re gone. We’ve had a great run with our four existing lines of full-frontal and full-packaged jockstraps and underwear but it’s time to freshen it all up.

In case you’re just tuning in, Sukrew is a UK company who became a sensation when they launched their first U-Trunks and U-Briefs. This high quality, super stylish underwear had a dirty (not so) secret – a front flat panel with a hole to stick your entire package to put it all out on display. They quickly followed with their “conservative” styles, if you can call underwear with a super-sized 3D pouch for maximum bulging and comfort allowing you to hang naturally and comfortably and is especially popular with the big boys! Also of note is their stunning mash-up of a brief and jockstrap that come in both full-frontal or full-package versions.

We have four lines that all include trunks, briefs and jocks that range from the showy Britannia collection using Union Jack or Tartan fabric, to the stylish white and blue or black and red collections right down to a serious all-black collection.

Like the Activeman undies above, all these lines have been discontinued and with the sale our remaining stock will be snapped up very quickly we’re sure so you’ve been warned.

20160323_aelp_aerieman_lgWe ran a post on the American Eagle’s new campaign. It was written by our very on Beau Briefs. It was refreshing to see a company take on having positive body images for men. I, like most of you reading this, are in no way a male model. We don’t have six packs, our body fat isn’t in single digits and have round bubble butts. As a guy who’s considered bigger, I am having a mixed feeling about this revelation from American Eagle.

Why am I having an issue. First I have had a really bad week and don’t want my own issues to cloud this one. While it’s good they brought the conversation forward, April Fools is not the time to do this. Personally, I think the April Fools cheapens the sentiment. Its like “Psyche” we wanted to talk about it but not! Sort of a “I made you look.” Before I go forward here is the official press release from PR News Wire from American Eagle. (Note this is the entire press release and we haven’t edited down any).

NEW YORK, April 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — American Eagle Outfitters proves once again they’re not afraid to take a risk and have a laugh in support of a good cause. Following the successes of the Skinny Skinny Jean in 2013 and American Beagle Outfitters in 2014, the brand reveals today its #AerieMAN campaign, featuring a mix of quirky characters of different sizes and personalities sharing “real life” stories in their skivvies, was all in good fun to parody the #AerieReal campaign by Aerie, a leader in body-positive marketing. This announcement marks the brand’s pledge to forego retouching its male models in its underwear and swim images beginning Holiday 2016. American Eagle Outfitters maximized the brand’s visibility in mid-March due to its history with April Fools hoaxes in order to raise awareness around body diversity.

The #AerieMAN campaign, which sparked immediate online chatter and debate, challenged how brands market to the male customer, and portrayed a lighthearted, creative interpretation of the #AerieReal message, a body-acceptance movement launched in 2014 where Aerie, the lingerie and apparel brand from American Eagle Outfitters, stopped retouching its models. In addition to making the pledge to eliminate retouching its male models in its underwear and swim images, American Eagle Outfitters has donated $25,000 to the National Eating Disorders Association, a non-profit that supports those affected by eating disorders and an ongoing partner with Aerie. For more information on NEDA, please visit www.nationaleatingdisorders.com.

“We aren’t afraid of being bold in how we engage our customers, whether through a video that makes you think twice, or challenging the norm in how a brand markets to men,” comments Chad Kessler, American Eagle Outfitters Global Brand President. “We are an all-inclusive brand and we know our male customers respond to humor. We look forward to continuing to innovate and evolve the American Eagle Outfitters product offerings.”

American Eagle Outfitters offers a wide variety of undies for all guys to move, groove and bend in, spanning our classic boxers, briefs and trunks as well as our Flex athletic underwear. Show a little or a lot with key styles from the underwear collection worn throughout the campaign, including the Leaves 6″ Classic Trunk, Southwestern Print 6″ Classic Trunk and the Solid 6″ Classic Trunk. The full collection of men’s underwear is available now at American Eagle Outfitters stores nationwide and online at ae.com®.

It just leases a bad taste in my mouth that it was done on April Fools. I think it’s a total disservice to regular and bigger guys. We definitely need to talk about it. I think companies like BearSkn have done much more to raise awareness than American Eagle. They specifically make underwear for all guys. From size xs/small to 4XL. Their latest shoot has been been bear men not models. One thing that made me laugh is that when BearSkn posted one of our pics from our holiday shoot, they wanted a bigger guy. They said he was too thin.

Other brands are embracing the bigger guy. Junk UnderJeans has branched out the size to XXL. I think this is a conversation we need to have on UNB and it not be an April Fools Joke. Look forward to this soon on UNB.

Hey all you fetish fantasticos! I hope you had a great week. Something really special to me arrived this week in the mail, but you will hear about that soon enough. This week, the hint (if you read last week’s post) was “WHISTLE”.

Did you guess correctly?

SINGLETS!!!!!!! (Whistle, like the way wrestling matches are cued…too vague?)

This week I wanna focus on a specific cut of singlet. The LOW cut racerback singlet. Essentially, what you get is a pair of booty shorts, with some pouch room up front, and then two suspender-like straps going up the chest, around the neck, meeting at the nape in a junction turning into one suspender strap leading to the back of the short.

n2n singlet
N2N PX Singlet

As for wrestling, it’s a pretty dumb outfit, but when it comes to ticking the spandex sexytime box, and the sporty sexy time box, it wins. A subtle design aspect of the suspender straps, also ticks the box that “The Notebook” style shirtless hunk in suspenders fits in (come on, don’t tell me a shirtless hunk in suspenders doesn’t do it for ya).

I have a lot of singlets, but only a few of these, it seems like most companies make ONE of these, rather than a whole bunch of different styles. What I love about this style is the way it lifts up the shorts on either side of your pouch, so you get a very nice “weighty” effect to your bulge (no complaints here). The back being racerback also allows you to show a lot of skin, and give a very seductive lead down to your tush.

manview singlet
Manview singlet.

In my arsenal, i own 2 from N2N Bodywear (2 different kinds of the PX singlet), and one from ManView (a sexy mesh one with neon blue bindings around the edges). I am getting a new one from a different company but it’s still in the mail right now. You will be hearing more about that once it arrives. So many exciting things to share, but can’t do it all at once.

So tell me, do you prefer your singlets higher cut, or are you into the super low cut style?

Tune in next week for more Fetish Friday. As I said, something arrived in the mail this week that I’m very excited about. You will hear part 1 of my excitement next Friday.

Until next time,

TtheAmazing over and out.

SUPAWEAR_VL3280These new pairs from SupaWear will have you seeing red! And not in the way you think. SupaWear released the new Crimson line. The start of SupaWear was solid colors. In the last year they have branched out to color panels and lastly a print with the Frutoipia line. The brand is really maturing and growing.

The latest collection builds on new designs. The collection is called Crimson. “Crimson by SW takes urban architecture in a new direction,” said SupaWear about the new line. We agree with this statement. The new collection is red with white stripes. These aren’t solid stripes, as they  said above its a very “architecture” designed. The official description is: “Like the urban jungle, Crimson is designed with form and structure in mind. This is achieved from the panelled styling, the embellished waistband with an industrial finish and the strong bold lines.”

I believe that the new collection will come in a jock, brief and trunk. Which have become pretty much standard for SupaWear.

Features:

  • Panelled design with double stitch finish
  • Vinyl prints
  • Single front lining for natural lift
  • Form fitting
  • Embellished waistband

I love this direction am seeing from SupaWear. They have a great sense of experimentation and fun in the collections. What started as a basic line is now becoming a line about pushing the envelope and seeing what they come up with. One of my favorite pairs I own has been the Fruitopia line. It’s whimsical and fun. Really who would believe that you’re wearing underwear that looks like slice of Watermelon?

This line will be around April 1st! So be on the look out at the SupaWear site and your favorite retailer!

IMG_2846WebTimoteo has done some amazing pictures lately. New model Sebastian Salvino is no exception. Enjoy this series.

This is what Timoteo shared with us about the shoot:

“I have some new pics from a test shoot Timoteo did in San Francisco a few weeks back. New model Sebastian Salvino wanted to give modeling a shot for the first time. He asked around about who to shoot with and Timoteo’s name kept coming up as the best person to ask for an honest opinion about possibly modeling. “Sebastian has great energy and a smoken hot worked out body. I could not say no to such a nice guy looking to break into the modeling world.” -Timoteo. So Sebastian was invited for a quick test shoot in SF. “I was really nervous to shoot for such a big brand, but everyone had told me Timoteo was amazing to work with. Once I got there I relaxed a bit once I saw Timoteo and his team was there to make sure I looked great and we got the best images possible. I had a great shoot and looking forward working with them again”- Sebastian”

jsc-cellblock-13-commando-27

Cellblock 13 has headed back to the trenches with their all new Commando Jockstrap and Commando Slingback Jockstrap (Jock Brief) and they did it with all guns blazing taking the always masculine camouflage motif and adding that hit of edgy style we all expect from CB13 sending this new gear over the top. If the new gear wasn’t hot enough, wait until you see Jockstrap Central’s latest model (and porn star) Caleb King and their handsome standby Brandon in all the jocks over at their website.

Here’s the details on the new gear: The camo fabric is made with a polyester and spandex blend that’s durable yet incredibly soft to the touch with just the right amount of stretch. The stretch and the contoured design ensure you always bulge to perfection. The camouflage is traditional in army green, black, desert sand and brown. Where the style kicks in is in the details; with contrasting piping and the signature two inch wide Cellblock 13 waistband we all love in a matching color scheme, sports stripes and iconic Cellblock 13 logo front and center. The waistband provides the perfect balance between comfort and support.

The Commando Jock is striking in it’s simplicity with all the above and two masculine one inch wide leg straps to finish it all off. The Commando Slingback Jock is a bit more complex with a brief underwear style front with vertical piping to define the pouch and more piping that edges the leg openings, but where things really get interesting is in the treatment of the straps; the brief-like front fabric narrows as it heads around back where it finally meets the one inch wide leg straps. It’s a stunning bit of design which also provides some butt lifting action.

Both styles come in three color variations, each with a consistent camo fabric with contrasting piping in either black, royal-blue or red. Words can only describe so much so be sure to head to Jockstrap Central to see it all for yourself.

Sure it’s camouflage but don’t think you’re going to blend in; head back to the barracks, drop your fatigues and all eyes will be on the prize with Cellblock 13’s latest creations.

53575-5542-ManeuverJock-Blue-Turn-WEB

Stop! I’ve found it! An amazing. No, a fuckin amazing jockstrap everyone can love.

Okay, are we all sufficiently hyped now? Well good. This jockstrap lives up to it. I came across this pair at our local leather shop in Seattle and I have loved it. Nasty Pig is a very well-known brand but not one that I am generally instantly drawn too for various reasons. But I had to have this jock. This sport jock (Maneuver Jockstrap) features flexing, breathable mesh that’s made of 90% poly and 10% spandex. Not only does the mesh give it the ability to breath it always gives that lil sexy sneak peek that would drive anyone wild.

Besides the comfort of the pouch (VERY) there is also the cool design and colors. I went with the lime green and I love it. It was a struggle to pick because I do love a good, eye catching blue but the green won my fancy in the end. It pops, really pops. Try to look away! The straps and the band have a cool mix of the color, white and black and the affect is trendy and well designed.

Great support in both the pouch reason and under the legs will have everything hugged and lifted into the right spot. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this pair. The matching socks I passed on because I didn’t think the fabric popped as well as the pouch but they are an option for everyone who is into matching socks and jocks.

So now that you’ve stopped and read that…GO! Go find it!

IMG_8455Yesterday I spent 12 hours working on my computer. To some this may sound like a lot of fun but I’m sure to the most of us it’s sheer hell. Especially when things kept going wrong several times. I won’t bore you with the details but after about 10 hours I was done and wanted to throw it through the window and then stomp on it. I had to remember that if I stopped it I would have no computer for editing video and my business.

The one thing that really was great today was my undies. I wore my N2N Bodywear Mohave bikini from a few collections ago. While a bit skimpy, it felt great on me. During a break today it got me thinking how underwear can make a stressful day better. You may be going, are you insane? Well think about it, when you have a bad day and then wear bad underwear. It’s a loose-loose situation. You already feel miserable and then just down right uncomfortable with ill fitting undies.

On stressful days that I know are coming I purposefully put on a great pair of undies. I want at least one thing to go right and at the end of the day strip down and put on the TV/Netflix and relax. It’s like my secret weapon to combat a stressful day. It may sound a little simple. But, it’s one less thing I have to worry about going wrong. Plus if it’s a favorite pair through the day I realize what I am wearing and it gives me a little smile to go on.

If you have a day that is unexpected and stressful, you can’t always put on your favorite undies. Wear good undies every day. Don’t save them for special occasions. This is true in jobs that are stressful. Jobs such as a lawyer, accountant, consultant, and exec. I can picture many of you guys who are lawyers sporting something from Gregg Homme or Timoteo’s Cellblock 13 under your suit. No one would know, not your judge, client or jury!

Underwear is about making us feel better. Its not always about being sexy all the time. Did I just say that? Great underwear is a lifestyle not something you wear on occasion or a date. You embrace who you are and express it in your undies! How do you guys deal with stress with undies?

ARK_8068-EditIt’s Baskit $12 Tuesday! Why luck they have a jock the day before Jockstrap Wednesday! This is the Luxe Jock from Baskit. What makes this jock so amazing is that is made out of Modal. This is the new fabric for men’s underwear. It’s super soft and keeps you cool through out the toughest work outs or day at the office!

The jock comes in black, grey and white. They are classic colors but feature the /baskit/ waistband! Today only it’s just $12. You can get all three if you want! Shop at the Baskit Website.

8671_White_1_2048x2048

For those underwear lovers who love to slip into something that packs a lot and shows it off. This collection is for you. The heavily black and white color scheme allows for the attention to all be drawn to the goods or depending, the greats. The clingy, stretchy fabric blends hug and showcase every inch of what is being contained in the pouch. As the model featured in most of the new pairs can attest too, these undies will stretch to fit it all in, no matter what state it’s in. These pairs are not for the faint of heart or the shy of pride.

Slightly reminiscent of the fit of many Cocksox pairs, these briefs and jocks put it all out there. The affect, immediate. It would be hard to miss someone in these. Hard.

Other pairs focus more on the backside of life with mesh peak a boo panels over the rear. Again, heavily featured in black and white these pairs would tease any spectator to the point of the extreme. With shimmering fabric and a solid waist brand to frame the upper booty windows the mesh is well framed to draw every eye. Other pairs contain mesh panels that wrap around. Others focus on the front for their big tease.

For those metallic look lovers, this collection has pairs for you too. Very handsome trunks and briefs that mix mesh with metallic can also be found in various pairs, alternating where each is displayed. Whether you wish to glisten in gold or sizzle in silver you’ll be able to mesh together a good collection.

Every cut and style from briefs to trunks, jocks to thongs (and the new combo pairs) can be found in this collection. Singlet lovers can rejoice too with some super sexy singlets to whet your whistle. Fans of singlets and mesh…you’re in luck too, as is whoever will see you in it.

Pikante has covered all of their bases as they attempt to cover, and display, yours

y6PBf2lJIn July of last year I wrote a post about my souvenir habits when I visit other countries.  Namely an excuse to buy underwear on vacation. A link to that article you ask? Well of course: http://www.underwearnewsbriefs.com/2015/07/souvenir-trunks-my-trip-across-europe/

Now sadly, since then I have not ventured far out of the home country. I did visit Whistler for a weekend but wasn’t able to pick up a pair. Perhaps I’ll pop up to Vancouver while the exchange rate is still favorable. Anyway! My travels lately have been domestic, New Orleans and Washington DC, late last year. I was able to grab a pair to commemorate my New Orleans trip. It’s a fun and definitely unique jockstrap that could have only come from the Big Easy… Get it?

Well finally my feet touched foreign soil again.

Instead of my normal Europe focused travel some friends and I went to explore a city down under and a tropical paradise. We went down to Sydney, Australia and to Bali in Indonesia. The purpose of our trip was to go and meet a friend of ours that had been living there for a while.  Oh yeah, and it was Gay Mardi Gras too. What a happy coincidence!

Now as I talked about in the last post (again, link above) buying underwear on your travels as a souvenir has a lot of benefits. 1) You don’t get to routinely wear that magnet or shot gloss that you bought but underwear you get to pick out and smile with memories. 2) CUTE. 3) It gives you a chance to try a brand that you might not have tried before or that you’ve always admired. 4) Buying a pair of underwear in its country of origin is just a bit more special. 5) Searching out the underwear can be a really fun way to spend an hour or two and can lead you into places you wouldn’t have normally visited on vacation. 6) CUTE. Catch my drift?

I have been familiar with multiple Australian brands for years, most notably AussieBum and Cocksox. I was fortunate enough to meet some of the Cocksox team members at a sponsored event that I went to and got to snag a tank-top. Woo woo! They are definitely a fun brand that is really pushing the envelope. AussieBum of course is classic, high end underwear with a big international presence. And then there’s Teamm8.

4tQZaKVG

I learned about Teamm8 from the short time that I was in one of the underwear a month clubs. The first pair of trunks I got from them were cute but not earth shattering. However, the biggest difference between the other two and Teamm8 was that they have a very easy to find, centrally located boutique store in Sydney. For any brands out there that need to know how to organize and decorate a boutique, take note of them.

I was so impressed with the store and their selection. I had NO idea that they had so much active wear, I’m pretty sure they have the world’s most awesome tank top too. Yet I was there for the underwear and I had the hardest time deciding. They have a helpful way to bundle pairs into a package with a price benefit or just buy by the pair. I picked out two briefs and I adore them. Now every time I rock my striped with pink pouch pair I think of that trip and every time TEAMM8 can be read across my bum I think of that beautiful city.

So I was set for Sydney and bound for Bali.

0Pg2cFcd

I had no idea where to begin. To my limited knowledge Bali didn’t have a big brand that I could pick out. Luckily while shopping for some wood carvings one day I stumbled across a store in Seminyak that sold underwear, swimsuits and t-shirts. Bingo! Plus it was full of my favorite kinds, cute and semi skimpy briefs.

However, I was caught by an idea. I had been focusing on local or native brands but not necessarily styles. Bali and the rest of Indonesia have some very interesting undergarments that had been used for centuries and I would be a fool for ignoring them. The attendant at the store explained how to “assemble” two different styles and I made my selection.

Now I finally have tried on the pair I bought in Bali and while I don’t see myself wearing it for the full day anytime soon I do like having it. It’s a really awesome look into a country’s history and a great way to remember my time dying from humidity. I loved Bali and this gets to remind me of that.

Memories and photos are great but I’m going to continue my tradition of buying my souvenir underwear, all around the world.
