JOR has posted a behind the scenes of the newest collection’s photoshoot. The collection should be out shortly. We will have more info about the new line as soon as it’s released.
We had so much fun doing our Swim Guide this year. Here is a picture featuring Drew in N2N Bodywear Milan Sport swim brief in blue!
I often ponder this question and the double standard of underwear in the mass market. I have written several “double standard” posts. When I go back and read them they are always so negative and are “preaching to the choir” posts. They are more of a way for me to vent and blow off steam.
UNB was founded in 2008 to share great underwear with all guys. Not just gay guys. Over the years I think we have a proven record of doing that. We welcome all guys in UNB regardless of sexual orientation, age, weight or any other factor. We are a group of guys who love underwear and want to be comfortable.
I have really talked to more straight readers over the years than gay readers. Straight guys usually email us about posts we have had on the site. In fact, I have had in depth conversations with these guys. I never come right out and ask, “are you gay/bi/straight?” To me that doesn’t matter. It’s guys bonding over underwear (Sorry I know that sounds gay). Then at some point in the conversation they will mention a wife, gf or ex. How she didn’t or did like what he wore. Many I have kept up with over the years and we email from time to time.
It amazes me how similar our journey into underwear is between gay and straight. Around early teen’s most of us discover, what we call “good underwear.” After that it grows and continues to build. Some gay guys wear what they want and labels be damned. They don’t care. Then there are straight guys who told me they wore their bikinis under their boxers. This is so other guys never knew of their love. This would drive me crazy to do on a daily basis.
In the last ten years we have seen the rise of the Metrosexual guy. One who doesn’t care if you think his love of passion clothes and fashion, equals him being gay. More guys are subscribing to this. We aren’t where I think most readers on this blog, wished we were with society. In Europe and Australia they have sports stars such as Cristiano Reinaldo (Armani & CR7), Dan Cater (Jockey), Thom Evans (D.Hedral), Ben Cohen (CK & BlueBuck), David Beckham (Armani & David Beckham Bodywear) and James Rodriguez (J10).
In the US we haven’t had a sports star since Jim Palmer, actually wear underwear in ads. Tim Tebow became a Jockey Spokesperson. Then never was photographed in anything other than a Jockey T shirt. It was rumored he wouldn’t pose in any type of underwear. Then we have the drama between Frigo and Derek Jeter. I personally have tried Frigo underwear. It was one of the longest reviews I have ever written. I mentioned at the time these were great underwear for sports and athletes. So, if the rumors are true, I don’t think Jeter would have to worry about it being marketed to gays. That is the subject of pending litigation between the brand and Jeter.
It shows here in the US we have a long way to come. Every time you see guys in underwear on TV and movies its always something crazy or butt of a joke. Think of Borat in his green thong. Or guys wearing oversized tighy whities. Rarely are guys in underwear seen as sexy. The only example that comes to mind is Magic Mike.
I think it all boils down to a double standard. We can objectify and ogle women. But, the same cannot be done to a man. This is true in men’s underwear ads. Mainstream ads rarely show any type of bulge or skin. It’s usually boxer briefs and T shirts. One of our readers once described all mainstream underwear ads being worn by eunuchs. As guys we are different and some have a bigger bulge than others. So to show a real guy in undies would be a nice change.
How should we change this view in society? Well it’s not easy but we should all do what we can.
- Let’s keep spreading the word on social media. It’s the easiest place for us to band together. It allows others to find other underwear lovers.
- Speak up when you hear someone say they are “gay” for looking at, wearing or saying they love underwear. First, what does it matter if they are and second, what does it matter to them what anyone else wears.
- Like social media of brands and interact with them. Support the brands you love. Let them know you appreciate them and want more!
- Lastly, wear whatever you want whenever you want. If you feel great in a thong, wear it under your suit or uniform to work.
This will be an ongoing battle. Its getting better but we still have a long way to go on more acceptance of men’s underwear in the bigger society. How do you guys think we should go about having more acceptance in society?
Ergowear is a favorite of some of our guys on the site. I am included in that group. Egowear has a really great pouch. Not just for guys with a big package but for all guys. They designed several pouch designs that will fit a guy, the way underwear should be made! I get off my pouch soapbox now.
The newest edition in the Erogwear line are stripes. This is a limited edition collection of stripes. While not a huge collection it is something different from the line. They haven’t done too many stripes in the past. Actually I don’t recall when they did stripes. I’m not saying they haven’t but I can’t remember when they last had them. They have done some fun prints in previous collections though.
The new stripes are available in the X3D line. The styles are a thong, bikini and trunk. In colors black and white. Like I said it’s not a huge update. I really love these stripes. What is the X3D pouch design? It’s a “nose-shaped pouch has been designed with a lift effect, slightly pushing your genitals up and away for added movement and comfort.”
Another bonus of the X3D collection is it’s made out of Microfiber. The fabric is a super soft Microfiber fabric 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex. This fabric is a moisture-wicking fabric. Making it perfect for the hot summer or an active guy. All the pairs I have had of the X3D, the fabric has always been amazing. It’s soft and feels great against the skin.
If you have never experienced Ergowear now is the time to try. I don’t think you will be disappointed in the brand at all.
It’s been a while since we shared any from Good Boy Gone Bad! We share with you the Aiden Jock Brief in black. It’s also available in white.
Junk UnderJeans furnished the Raw Street Runner for review
Rating: 9.3/10
- Daily Fit: 9/10
- Sizing: 9/10
- Construction: 9.5/10
- Styling: 9.5/10
- Daily Performance: 9.5
Pros: Bold colors, fun pattern, nice material, well built.
Cons: Legs are a little long in length.
UNB pleep recommendations: These are a fun pair of tights, work great at the gym
This was actually the second item I have ever worn from Junk UnderJeans. The first being the Stellar Jock, and these tights are just as well made as the jockstrap.
I have worn these at the gym several times, they hold up quite nicely while working out. The fabric they use is very soft as well as breathable. I don’t feel like I am being suffocated in a heat wave while wearing and working out. Which, some tights I have worn before by other companies prefer to use just spandex and not have sections of it with breathable fabric. This allows you can workout in them for long periods of time.
They have three color choices; Aqua, Green and Pink. I have the Aqua ones. Which as you can see means they are a mid-grey and a dark grey overall color but the accent color is Aqua. Which, I find to be quite nice and sexy.
The sizing to me is spot on for the waist and thighs, however, I found the legs to be a bit long. The Large is exactly what you expect a Large pair of tights to be in the waist and thighs. If you normally wear larges I recommend you snagging up that size. According to their website their sizing charts states that a Large for them is a 32-34″ Waist.
If you’re new to underwear and want to branch out and try a few new things. Where do you go? What should you get? Should you dive right in or get your feet wet first. It all depends on what the fetishwear is about. We divided it up into Spandex, Lingerie, Leather/harness, latex/rubber, Mesh and the list goes on from there. BTW you guys mentioned mesh in our survey results.
Let’s talk about the fetish types that is easier to get. This doesn’t mean can you order them but rather the cost. Some pairs of fetishwear can be a few hundred dollars for a pair. The three of the easiest are spandex, mesh and Lingerie.
SPANDEX
Spandex is a very wide variety of gear. It ranges from swim briefs, runners, bike shorts, bib shorts and singlets. To go farther are full body suits and more. But for the time being lets stick to the first few. You can go one of two ways. You can do the off the shelf athletic gear. It consists of brands like Nike, UnderArmour and the like. You can buy it at any sporting good store or online. The other way to go is the erotic side of spandex. What makes it erotic? The cuts used that accent the pouch and other areas. Mesh can be used to create see through panels. Lastly, cut outs to expose part of the body. Brands that make this type of spandex gear are N2N Bodywear, Slick It Up and Pistol Pete. I personally love both side of spandex. It was probably my second love after underwear.
MESH
Mesh is something you guys pointed out in the survey. Mesh is pretty diverse in the men’s underwear world. You can get pairs that show off everything or just a hint of skin and naughtiness. Since we started UNB 8 years ago, mesh has really evolved. Where it was just something to wear to get laid. Now you have pairs that are meant to be worn to work our out on the town. New technologies have made mesh a more comfortable fabric. It used to be there wasn’t much give in the fabric and the construction always had a seam down the pouch that rubbed you the wrong way. Mesh has branched out of underwear and now can be found in pants, shorts, shirts/tanks and more. However, the underwear seems to be the favorite of you guys. The companies doing some great mesh are Gregg Homme, Bum Chums, and N2N Bodywear.
Men’s Lingerie
Lingerie is one of the most controversial areas of men’s underwear. We aren’t talking about guys wearing women’s underwear. We are talking about lace and satin underwear designed for men. Many guys out there don’t like it at all, but there are those who can’t get enough of the mixing of masculine and feminine. Some of the pairs do resemble women’s underwear. I have seen some recently that are designed to look like a garter belt. Other time its regular men’s underwear just made out of lace. This is rising in popularity and more and more guys are giving it a try. I have tried lace and I actually don’t mind it. Brands that sell men’s lingerie are MaleBasics, BodyAware, PetitQ, Candyman and Male Power.
Let’s talk about the other two real quick. Leather and Rubber/Latex
LEATHER
Leather is growing in popularity in the general population. It used to be relegated to gay bars. Now it’s becoming for everyone who wants to walk on the wild side. Harnesses have become one of the biggest new accessories in the world of underwear. Most of the affordable pieces are made out of a mix of leather and another material. If you want solid leather its best to have it custom made for you. This is some of the most expensive gear you will buy. If you’re at the point where you are getting custom gear made. You love the gear! And, you want something to last. Over the years I have had several pieces made and they have always held up. Its definitely worth the price. If however you want to find leather pieces “off the shelf.” The best places are Nasty Pig, Mr. S Leather to name a few.
Rubber/Latex
Rubber and Latex is the last. We are including neoprene in this as well. Some may argue it deserve a category of it’s on. We won’t deny that argument, but for the sake of this post it will be included. Off the shelf there aren’t too many brands making rubber. There are plenty making rubber looking fabric. Rubber and latex has to be cared for specifically or it will be ruined. More brands are turning to Neoprene. It’s easier to work with and care for over time. I have talked to friends who are really into this and you can easily rip or tear the garment, while putting it on or taking it off. This is not my area of specialty. I have tried everything we have listed in this post except rubber/latex. If you are interested I would suggest finding someone who owns it and tlak to them. To get your feet wet give some neoprene pieces some try. Many of the new harnesses are being made from the neoprene. The current brands making neoprene are Cellblock 13 and Slick It Up!
This is just a primer for you guys wanting to branch out and walk on the wild side. There are a lot more companies making great gear. It will depend on what you discover you love. Once you find something you like, you’ll be able to find other fun brands. Good luck and have fun!
Junk UnderJeans furnished the Junk X Jockstrap for review
Rating: 8.6/10
- Daily Fit: 7/10
- Sizing: 10/10
- Construction: 10/10

- Daily Performance: 7/10
Pros: Great Junk X Pouch, Cool design, fun colors available
Cons: Waistband rolled on me during wear
UNB Tim recommendation: I liked the design of the jock and the pouch made this a good jock. The pair did roll on me I’m not sure if it was the design or just an issue I had. It is a great jock I would recommend.
I have a whole series of Junk X to review. I have already posted the Junk X Brief review. I was looking forward to the jock.
The first is because of the pouch. The second reason is I really enjoyed the brief. One thing that has impressed me with Junk UnderJeans is the quality. They make very well made underwear.
The design of the jock is a bit different than I am used too. It has the straps attached right above the pouch. Rather than on the side, like other jocks. When I slid on the pair on it took me a minute to get it situated. After it was in place, I liked the fit. The pouch of the Junk X line is a really good pouch. It’s a bit bigger than the traditional pouches Junk UnderJeans makes. It fit pretty well through out the day.
I wore this pair to work one day. I felt that a job where I had to be on the go would be perfect for a jock. I wore it and it held up pretty well. I haven’t worn many jocks to my job. After wearing this one it’s making me double think that decision. The only thing that happened with the jock was the waistband kept rolling. Pleep didn’t have this problem with his jock from Junk UnderJeans. I don’t know if its the way I am built or what was going on. I didn’t notice it till later in the day. It wasn’t uncomfortable, sometimes when waistbands roll they get twisted and uncomfortable. This didn’t bother me at all.
The sizing with Junk UnderJeans is pretty spot on. They have standard sizes. The X-Large I received fit pretty well. I don’t think you will have many sizing issues on Junk UnderJeans. Just follow the sizing guide and you should have no issues.

How many out there love a great pouch in a pair of briefs? I know we have plenty of readers where it is one of, if not, the most important factors in choosing underwear. It also, happens to be at the very top of my list. One that gives you plenty of room and great support. More brands are really focusing on this feature. It’s gone from erotic pairs that show off the bulge to more ergonomical designs.
“Following on from the Enhance Double Lift range, UK mens underwear brand has released Enhance X for guys who like to rise in lo-rise. Tobi, back for his second shoot and with an unshaved chest, models the lo-rise brief designed to enhance for a fuller, rounder fit without any ‘small & pointy’ pouch appearance.” is the description from Curbwear.
The pair is definitely a bikini cut. It has a solid body with a different color trim on each pair. The pouch has been updated to make it more rounder and dare I say natural. Some pouches, as they point out, can be pointy. The colors offered are Black/White, Grey/Black, Navy/Red and White/Blue. Made out of 93% Cotton and 7% Elastane fabric. Which will fill super comfy and fit you very well.
One thing that many of you may rejoice over is the tag. Let’s face it a bad tag can ruin a great pair of underwear. They have created a tear off label. Yes, you want have to break out the scissors or struggle to get the tag off. It will easily tear off and leave you with a comfy fit. This Genius! Good job Curbwear.
I think overall Curbwear did an amazing job on this pair. They are building on an already great line. I say good job Curbwear, keep up the great work!
The PetitQ boys made a great new collection. They shot this with Garrett Bidwell in Las Vegas. They shot it last February when I was there. They teased the shoot but I didn’t see any till now. See the new hot PetitQ collection.

Pros: Great for summer wear, soft fabric and Xtreme pouch
Cons: Some may not like the loose fit, Not the N-hance pouch
UNB Tim recommendation: This line was made for summer. The amazing fabric and fit are some of the most breathable ever created. The breathability reminded me of the Air line. If you like a looser breathable fit this is for you!
We have had a ton of reviews from N2N Bodywear. We are so thankful they have graced us with so many pairs. It’s something from, I think, every collection, they released. One of the new lines is the Indy Racer. It’s available in brief and trunk. I call them more of a bikini and brief. Their trunks are cut more like a brief, well thats my opinion.
When I first saw the Indy Racer line it reminded me of swimwear. I’m not sure if its the cut or stripe that made me think this. Maybe it was the simplicity of the pair. Unlike swimwear the Indy Racer is a line made out of cotton. The exact fabric is 90% cotton / 10% spandex. It’s a looser cut than other pairs in the collection. Where as the Fresh Line was pretty tight, this allowed your to hang more freely.
The pouch in this one is the Xtremen pouch. My favorite is the N-hance pouch from N2N Bodywear. Like I said above, the pouch is a bit looser. Not too loose that things will get out of control. If you’re a fan of something with more support this pair may not be for you. I was surprised how well I liked it for the day.
I wore this pair out in the southern heat. It was the perfect pair to wear. The light fabric and fit made it very breathable. I was really pleasantly surprised. With the hot summers we have had all over, picking the right underwear is an important daily decision. If I was in an office job I think it would have been great but having to drive around and go out in the heat and humidity was the perfect pair.
Sizing for N2N is pretty spot on. I have never had an issue with them. Being an XL I have even work a few of the Larges I have and they still fit great. They stick to the standard US sizing model. I have never heard any issues with guys buying N2N Bodywear.
I really liked this pair and was glad I got a chance to try it out. Over the summer it will be in heavy rotation this summer. I thank N2N for creating the perfect summer pair.

Bringing you guys new brand is one of my favorite things to do. One new brand that reached out to us is Adonis Underwear. It was launched in 2015 by Kyhry Taylor. In February of 2016 the success of the brand made them focus just on the brand. They dropped all other brands they carried at that time.
They say this about the line:
“Our products are made of top quality soft and stretchy fabrics to create a body defining, comfortable wearing experience. Our founder, Kyhry, believes that “Men should feel just as sexy in their underwear as woman feel in their lingerie”. This is the foundation of our business; it’s what separates us from other underwear brands.”
What do they currently sell? They have a collection of briefs, boxer briefs and jocks on the underwear side. They also make some socks! Which are pretty awesome. They are bright and colorful. Which, I think, all socks should be.
The pairs in the current line are the Naughty Boy Brief, Perfect Fit Trunks, Show it off Jock, Seduction Jock, Perfect Fit Boxers and Royal boxers
- Naughty Boy Brief – features two sexy slits in the front to show some skin.
- Perfect Fit Trunks – style features our wide elastic waistband for a body defining fit, and comfortable wearing experience
- Show it off Jock – When you put these on, your package will fall naturally into the super soft contoured pouch for a body defining fit and comfortable wearing experience
- Seduction Jock- This unique new style uses mesh fabric in the front to show a teaser of your package, and soft but sturdy straps in the back to support all your booty.
- Perfect Fit Boxers – style features our wide elastic waistband for a body defining, comfortable wearing experience.
- Royal boxers – limited edition Royal Black Boxer Trunks are one of our sexiest pair yet! Complimented by our exquisite ADONIS embossed gold waistband.

- Limited colors
Dustin’s Recommendation: The Stone Wash Brief will definitely be in my regular rotation as it held up very well throughout the day with very little adjustments or fuss
For this round I’m reviewing the N2N Stone Wash Classic Cotton Brief. I love N2N and am a brief guy so I had little doubt these would be great. The Stone Wash line is only available in blue but is available in every style there is – boxer, brief, bikini, g-string, jock and trunk. There is a neon version which seems similar although it’s placed in it’s own category. I was happy with the blue as well as the broken in feel of the fabric. It’s as if they’ve been washed many times over and are already your favorite, well worn pair.
These were worn on a hot, summer day to work where I was planning on being more active than normal. The material is 80% cotton and 20% spandex. They definitely hold their shape. But aren’t your typical “wicking” material that I associate with underwear for working out. I would, however, say these would hold up at the gym, work or lounging around at home.
I wore a medium which fit my 31-32 waist perfectly. The size chart says 30-34 (American) and that feels like an accurate guide for buying. No need to go up or down a size as the material does have plenty of stretch.
When I first pulled these briefs on. I immediately loved the soft fabric and once my package was adjusted into the pouch. Things felt great. The pouch is clearly defined by an elastic piping that goes down the sides and underneath which makes it very clear that everything goes up front and on a bit of display without being obnoxious. The material creates an ergonomic pouch so you’re able to receive support while still hanging in a natural way. I will say that while some structure is great. I might like the piping to be a little more flexible so I didn’t feel the band behind my balls. It wasn’t difficult to get used to but you were aware that it was there.
This brief only solidifies by love for N2N as I have yet to have a pair that I wouldn’t wear regularly. The Stone Wash Brief will definitely be in my regular rotation as it held up very well throughout the day with very little adjustments or fuss. I like sexy undies as much as the next underwear fanatic but I definitely value comfort and these deliver! Next up might be the bikini or G…

UNB pleep recommendations: If you are needing a new jockstrap then I highly recommend this!
This is actually the first item I had ever worn from this company and I greatly enjoy their styling and fabric that they use.
I have worn these pretty much everywhere by now, I very much so enjoy them, and they definitely hold up to a full day of wear and tear. Whether you are sitting around all day, or running errands, or actually running, the bands stay where they are suppose to and the pouch keeps you where you need to be.
They have quite a few color choices for the Stellar Jock; Hot Red, Tangerine, Yellow, Green, Royal, & Black; I happened to go with the yellow one. The Stellar Jock, the pouch and band match in color, and on the pouch are small grey and yellow lines, to give a nice and fun contrast to the pouch.
The sizing to me is spot on; the Large is exactly what you expect a Large jockstrap to be, so if you normally wear larges I recommend you snagging up that size. According to their website their sizing charts states that a Large for them is a 32-34″ Waist.
Hello all you kinksters,
I am back from my vacation! I spent all week doing nothing but playing in a pool at a gay resort in Florida. Oh, and I brought 21 swimsuits (don’t judge me). I wore EVERY single one of them (check my instagram @HoopArtist to see them all and tell me which are your favorites). I also got to go to some fun leather events at some local spots…Fun was had by all. Right before vacation. Cheapundies.com had a sale on some Cellblock 13 wear. I blacked out for a second, and suddenly 3 things were ordered and shipped to my house (I honestly don’t know what happened). One of the items was the Black and Red Ninja Neoprene Jock. I may or may not have worn this out to a bar, may or may not have looked REALLY cute in it. May or may not have gotten a LOT of groping compliments because of it.

The Ninja Neoprene Jock is a really cool item. The pouch being entirely made of neoprene rubber. With nice firm elastic as the waistband and jock straps. This jockstrap is winning in the three departments. The strap tension, pouch room, under-pouch terminal.
The first thing that either makes or breaks a jock for me is strap tension. I do not want to have to fidget and adjust my straps all day as I move around. I am an active guy, bending, twisting…I cannot be fixing my straps. If my straps are either too thin, or too loose (which honestly, makes me KNOW it is a design flaw, cause I definitely give those straps enough booty to work with), I am over it.

Pouch Room, the great thing about this dense textured neoprene rubber pouch is it shows your bulge without vacuum sealing around it. The pouch being made of a more sturdy material. Tt gets pushed out by your junk, but still kind of keeps it’s relative shield shape, like armor. The less vacuum effect material helps give you enough room for all the goodies. Even if they get a little bit rowdy.
Under-pouch terminal. Now, I am sure I’m not the only one with this problem, but I have not actually discussed this with people yet. If an underwear has too much going on (seams meeting) right below the testicles, it chafes me over time. I am sensitive to it, and it bugs me after some time, and then bugs me long after I remove the offending garment. This jock has a beautiful smooth connection, and was bother free all night long.

One last thing that isn’t in my criteria, but I thought was really cool. I found it unusual and pretty comfortable that the jock straps extended all the way to the front pouch instead of nearer to the sides. Putting it on the first time was a little more “hmm” but once I figured out where the straps needed to be, everything was great.

Until next time, keep it kinky.
TtheAmazing, over and out!

Pros: great material, n-hance pouch, great fit.
Cons: Wish they had brighter colors .
UNB Tim recommendation: The Fresh brief is the closest you will get to a “basic” collection from N2N Bodywear. It fits great and is perfect for any active day. Or maybe just a lazy day at home. The N-hance pouch should solve any pouch issues you will have. It’s two thumbs up.
The Pair
I am a big fan of N2N Bodywear. I don’t think that is any secret. Over the course of UNB I have tried I think just about every pair they make. The Fresh Line was released in 2015. I didn’t get a pair from that collection, but did manage to get one this time! I was happy because this is something more of a classic style. The Fresh Brief is, in my opinion, the closest we have to a basics line from N2N.
The pair is made out of 90% cotton / 10% spandex blend. It fits really great. Plus its super comfortable through out the day. One of the features that I love best is it has the N-hance pouch. The N-hance pouch is their own pouch designed. It is a contoured pouch that should fit you pretty darn well.
The Fresh Briefs comes in three colors. They are White, Fresh Dreamy Blue and Fresh Mellon Green. The waistband is simple with the N2N Logo in the front. Around the back it has Made in Los Angeles. Each band matches the color with a white stripe in the middle. Except the white which is grey.
Review Conditions
I wore these to my part time job. Which is a lot of moving and being active. Plus it was super hot in Atlanta. We have had 90+ degrees and 70-80% humidity. Which makes wearing the wrong pair of underwear, a miserable experience. This pair didn’t add to my heat discomfort. The fabric and cut allowed it to breathe and felt great throughout the day. If it could survive this day of being outside and active. It could definitely be a great pair for the gym.
The N-hance pouch was perfect to wear. It gave me a lot of support through out the day. My biggest pet peeves is that a pair looses shape or pouch support through out the day. The Fresh Brief really held up great. All the pairs that have had the N-hance pouch have been really great. It’s a well designed pouch, that should fit most guys comfortably.
The Sizing
Sizing from N2N is pretty solid. They have standard US sizes. Which means a medium is 32 and it’s based around that sizing. I received an XL that fit pretty well. In all the pairs I have had from N2N have been consistent with sizing. You really shouldn’t have any issues with sizing.
Issues with the pair
There were no issues with this pair. I was very happy with the fit and feel. The only thing that I would love is if it came in brighter colors. I am a fan of bold colors in underwear. But, that’s a minor personal preference. The color I received was the blue. They did a great job with this pair!
