The final pair of Candyman Fashion underwear I chose to review was the thong (9512) in red.  This is a fun pair with decorative rings at the waist and three rings in the back, forming a “Y” type of strap.  I was a little concerned about the rings in the back but there was no need for concern at all.  I am not used to thongs but I totally enjoyed these.  They were so comfortable I almost forgot I was wearing a thong.  The material was soft and held everything in place and the strap in the back wasn’t cutting or anything.

I so enjoy the variety of undies out there and the chance to change it up every now and again.  It is fun to try different styles and brands and learn new things and find different fits that I never knew existed.  I am learning that underwear should fit you lifestyle, provide you comfort and give you an all around good feeling.  If all thongs are like this pair, send them my way please!

These undies are sexy, comfortable, and extremely fun.  They are made of 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex.

Thank you, Candyman Fashion, for sending this very sexy thong for us to try.  I really enjoyed them.

Another fun pair of Candyman Fashion underwear I chose to review was a brief.  These have a very supportive black pouch with the rest in a black and white zebra strip pattern.  Everything about this brief was comfortable.  There was no binding and a lot of support.  It was fun wearing them as they are sexy and nobody knew I had them on until later that night when my wife saw me undressing for bed and showed her appreciation.

Some day I hope to take a trip to the African safari and see zebras, elephants, giraffes and lions.  These undies remind me of the things that are wild and free.  Maybe when I go on my safari, I’ll take this awesome pair of undies and show a little bit of my wild side – one never knows. 😉

These undies are made of 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex.  They are stretchy and supportive and oh so comfortable.

Thank you, Candyman Fashion, for sending these amazing briefs for us to try.  I really enjoyed them.

Candid is a new brand to me and as much as new things scare me, I wasn’t afraid at all to try this amazing looking pair of underwear.  Simple and plaid pretty much spell perfect to me.  This pair is pretty dang close to perfect.

New things may scare me, but they are also in some ways exciting.  I guess you would call it the thrill or maybe being blindly bold.  Granted, underwear isn’t life or death, but if you’ve ever had a bad experience with say…zippered underwear, then there is a just cause to be afraid.  The pair I received, black and pink plaid, were not scary looking at all and they felt great as well, thanks to being 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex.

Want to know how they survived during a normal day?  Like normal, I wore the undies before I reviewed them and I also put them through the usual routine.  They passed with flying colors with no bunching.  There was one thing that was intriguing though…the waistband.  I find most waistbands to be pretty stretchy.  This one is not.  It’s set in its way!  I was worried about it before I put them on, but after they were on for a while, there were no problems at all.  Pretty much golden!  Go ahead and give this great pair of underwear a try!

Candid provided me with this pair of underwear to review.

If I say, “costume underwear”, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?  A giant pair of briefs for a Halloween outfit or is it a whole brand of underwear that is unrivaled in its creativity?  If you picked the second one, then there’s a good chance you have heard of Candyman Fashion.  They don’t make your standard underwear.  They make your outrageous underwear.  If you love to be the center of the attention at a party when your pants come down, then I recommend you read on to learn about quite possibly the most exciting underwear known.

What makes up the perfect party underwear you ask?  It’s simple: 92% Polyester, 8% Spandex, some screen-printing, and some foam ears.  Put all of that together and you’ve got yourself the Elephants Tusk underwear.  You may think that foam ears may be uncomfortable or create an awkward bulge in your pants, but they are neither.  I actually found the ears to be arm support when you’re reading or working on your laptop.  Some serious creative points go to Candyman for that.  You probably have one other question.  If it’s elephant themed, where’s the trunk?  Let me answer it this way…there is a hole in the front.  Use your imagination!

When these arrived, I saved them for Friday and decided they would be my casual Friday pair.  For the most part, they were pretty comfortable.  A little loose, especially at the legs, but other than that, there was a fair amount of support.  I do see the screen-printing coming off after a few washes unless you are extremely careful washing them.  The support stitching that connects the ears to the rest of the pair seems skimpy and something to keep an eye on for sure.

Though there are the good and bad points, the goods do make this pair well worth the cost for the smile it will bring to everyone seeing them.  If you enjoy flaunting your underwear, then you NEED these.  If not, these will certainly get you to that point.  Candyman has other pairs that have a little less 3D to them, so be sure to check back at UNB the rest of the week to see the reviews on other underwear styles they have to offer!

I was pretty skeptical when asked to review undies from Male Power.  I am not use to extreme undies and, to me, these were EXTREME!  When I received them in the mail and showed them to my wife we were both pretty skeptical.  She thought they were going to be extremely uncomfortable because of the material.  I haven’t tried many thongs but I was given a pair of Grip & Rip Thongs to review from their Extreme Collection.  I thought, “Okay, I’ll give them a try and keep an open mind about the whole thing.”  With one eyebrow raised, I put them on and wore them all day.

I was concerned about the Velcro bothering my skin or getting caught on other articles of clothing and coming undone.  That became a non-issue.  I was also worried about placement, but that was soon dismissed.  The thong fit nicely and, I must say, it was an all around good experience.  The material was a comfortable “cire” – which was new to me.  I had to adjust the way I “ride” in undies as the pouch was a little low and the grab strap did not help keeping things in place.  I would not recommend these for all day wear as they would be best for a special, plan ahead to wear, event.

Put on the Male Power Extreme Grip and Rip Thong, grab a strap, and hang on tight as it will take you for a wild ride!  These are made of matte finished polyester and spandex with an added tear-away front pouch for easy access.

I’m sure at one point in your life, you’ve wanted to be a doctor, nurse, or wear a white coat with the purpose of helping people.  If that career path didn’t work out, there is always hope of being another kind of nurse: a Knockout Nurse, thanks to Candyman Fashion.  Simple, eye-catching, and useful; these three words define the Knockout Nurse underwear to a tee.  From the rhinestones to the pouch and the red and white theme, you can’t go wrong with this pair.

92% Polyester and 8% Spandex and some rhinestones are exactly what the doctor ordered.  When mixed together, you have the perfect cure for boring underwear. They are equipped with a pouch…a very large pouch actually, and to be honest, I wasn’t accustomed to pouches.  You never know how handy pouches are until you don’t have them.  Another feature of this pair is the rhinestone RX on the side, not to mention the White Cross on the opposite side.  This pair has no problem getting attention.

When I tried them on, I noticed that they are pretty snug and there isn’t any riding up.  They are a pretty comfortable pair of underwear.  To my surprise, there wasn’t an issue with the rhinestones, which I actually figured would be a problem.   I was presently surprised when it wasn’t.  This pair survived a full day of class, lying around, and the gym.  They held up like a champ.  I would definitely recommend this Candyman selection.

Male Power is a designer of sexy underwear for the modern man.  We find from their company website that they were created in 1974.  I never would have thought they had been around for that long.  It was only a few months ago that I first saw a pair in a catalog.  They have been shown in various publications during their company lifespan.  Out of their vast collection, I was given the Tattoo Mini Short to review.

This was the first pair made by them that I have worn.  Immediately after putting them on, I realized that sizing was an issue.  I normally wear smalls and that’s what I was supplied.  If you are on the upper end of their size ranges, get the next size up.  Male Power smalls are 28-30.  There were other issues that would have been present other than the size.  Even though they were a little snug, they were fine to wear in the beginning of the day.  I chose to carry on with my review and hope for the best.

As you can tell by the picture, the waistband is almost non-existent.  The waistband measures .86 in (2.22 cm).  I, personally, am used to a wider waistband because of the cut-in issue.  The same material is used in the leg openings.  I, like many of our readers, have thick thighs and need more forgiving material in that area.  Over the period of time I wore this pair, the piping material began to cut into my thighs.  I can’t deal with this on any underwear and so I took them off halfway through a work shift.

The material used to make the mini short was a great choice.  I loved the feel against my skin.  The material is made of 85% nylon and 15% spandex.  This combination allows for a bit of stretch.  There is a pouch design incorporated into the front of the short.  Whether that allows for enough room is per the individual.  It was OK with me.  I’m not really a fan of the print, but that is totally up to the wearer.  Some of the seams should be looked at when producing the product as there were some spots where the stitching was questionable as to how long it would hold out in daily wear.

As long as the size works with the wearer, I don’t see any problems with daily wear.  The material is comfortable and it gives a fair amount under normal circumstances.  The care instructions advise to wash in cool water (no bleach) and tumble dry cool.  It would probably be better to simply hang them to dry.  I don’t know of anyone that drys anything cool.

If you would like to try a pair of Male Power underwear, you can purchase them from many different sites including http://www.abcunderwear.com or you can buy them in retailers in your area.  In the Atlanta area, I know that Poster Hut carries a large selection of Male Power briefs, thongs, and other styles.

These shorts were provided by Male Power for our review.

Everyone and everything has a modest side and Candyman Fashion is no exception. The 9515 Boxer is one of their more modest pairs and even someone as exciting as me needs a break now and then to enjoy some simple, but enjoyable, boxer briefs. Though I did say simple, they are quite shiny and in the right light, they are a little see-through.  When you have them on, you don’t have to worry about anything being seen.

This pair is made of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex, all of which is again, very shiny, almost a little too shiny for my likings.  Since I wear pants over them, it’s not that big of a deal.  There is a simple design on the front of red horizontal stripes on the legs that connect to a black pouch, all with a bit of glitter to them.  Surround that with a silver background and you have yourself a modest pair of underwear.

When it comes to actually wearing the pair, the 9514 is a little loose and it has an interesting feel.  I can’t really put my finger on it, but it’s a tight feel, even though the pair is somewhat loose.  Don’t let that deter you, however, from giving the 9514 a try.  They are still a great pair of underwear.  If you would like a good fitting, comfortably simple, and modest pair, I would certainly recommend that you go and buy the 9514 Boxer!

Candyman Fashion provided me with this pair of underwear to review

I promised myself back in January that I wasn’t going to purchase any new underwear until after my holiday to Australia in April – kind of needed to do some serious saving! However a 40% weekend extravaganza sale on Calvin Klein underwear soon changed my mind and I went and purchased two pairs of their new X range. I went for two pairs of the cotton trunks version in black and neon pink – the latter colour only appears to be available in the UK at the moment!

I’ve given the underwear a thorough testing on your behalf, having worn them a number of times and in a variety of circumstances (at work, working out, walking round and simply lounging round the apartment) and with a range of clothing (gym gear, work clobber and casual clothing) and all I can say is these are some seriously comfy underwear.

The soft and stretchy cotton/modal material helps shape the trunks to your body whilst keeping everything nicely supported all day long. The wide waistband is made from a soft touch material and feels great against your body. The trunks fit well, although they do suffer from the usual leg rising issue when I was working out in them, but the soft material means they don’t really become uncomfortable. Having said that, it really is a minor niggle on a great pair of underwear.

Overall I was really impressed with these trunks – they are seriously comfy, fit well and are suitable for use in all circumstances. Will I be buying more? Definitely!

There is a still a thunder from down under with Australian underwear.  Tribe is most certainly part of that thunder.  This is the second pair of Tribe underwear I’ve been given to review, and just like the first, this pair does not disappoint.  The trunk brief has a little more fabric and covering than the standard brief, and as someone who likes covering more than the next guy, that’s a very good thing.  So without further a due, here’s my review on the Tribe Trunk Brief in the Cobblestone pattern.

It’s always exciting to get underwear for review, especially when they are from a different country!  When they arrived, of course I tried them on instantly, and it was a match made in heaven!  This is a seriously great pair of underwear!  They have just enough coverage for me, a little more than the previous pair I reviewed (The Print Brief).  With that “just-right” coverage comes a “just-right” feeling, leaving me to be a happy camper.  Like the other pair, the Trunk Brief is comprised of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane, equaling a 100% comfortable pair of underwear!

As with all pairs I am given to review, I put them through my daily test, which pretty much puts them through everything; sitting, walking, and working out.  It’s the whole package…no pun intended.  With no surprises at all, these undies passed with flying colors!  I love the way they feel and how they support, plus the pattern is so simple that it’s more enjoyable than some of the craziest patterned pairs I own.  They are a nice escape to the simple life, which is definitely something everyone needs!

Tribe underwear provided me with this pair of underwear to review

We got a few pairs of Male Power to review, this is one the pairs. More will be coming in the next week or s. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are an underwear company know for some really wild and sexy designs. It can range from mesh, leather looking and traditional. So there is something for everyone.

I got the Male Power Zipper short, size XL, and thought first, that they look really cool. Then I thought, this is not going to be comfy with the zipper in the front. But, being the diligent reviewers and underwear lover I put them on.  I will say that I didn’t even notice the zipper. I thought for sure that it would rub and drive me crazy. The reason is I have had zipper underwear before and it rubbed me the wrong way and had to be taken off. But these really fit well and I didn’t’ notice the zipper.

I wore them for an entire day. I was really surprised by the fit. I have had some undies similar to this and as I have mentioned, and they were designed to not be worn long. These really had a good pouch and held everything in place. The only thing that did annoy me is that they would ride down in the back. Meaning they kept slipping down some. Not a great deal but just enough for me to notice.

These are perfect for a pair of date night undies. They are interesting so when the pants come off, your partner will notice it.

The Extreme Grip and Rip was supplied by Male Power for review. Thanks to Male Power for sending these for us to try.  I really enjoyed the Extreme experience and so did my wife later that evening!

Australia seems to be the happening place for underwear these days, there are quite a few brands putting out some really good stuff. A brand that is going above and beyond is Tribe. In my mind, a company named Tribe would have tropical patterns, and of course, they do. Some of their unique patterns include: Cobblestone, Palm, Jungle, and Skull.  To be quite honest, it is one thing to have a cool design, but to have a cooler name to go with it completes the package.  Now that I’ve given you a brief rundown, let’s focus on the point of the review, the Palm Standard Brief.

This is my second time writing for UNB, and alas, my second pair to review.  If I said I wasn’t super excited to get these, then I would be lying.  When they arrived, I tried them on instantly, and for the most part, I was pretty pleased.  They do seem a tad skimpy, and I felt that there could have been more coverage in the rear, but that could be because of incorrect sizing on my end.  Besides that, everything else about these undies is great.  They feel great as they are made of 94% Polyester.  There is quite a bit of support in the front, something that I find to be rather hit and miss, and it’s so much better when it’s a hit.  These are definitely a hit!

Before I can faithfully write a review, I have to wear the briefs for a normal day and see if they can pass the test.  The next morning, I put them on, went to class, had after-class meetings, and then hung around the pad until bedtime.  The results…an overwhelming pass! I didn’t want to take them off because they were so comfortable.  But, if you love something, you have to set it free to your hamper.  I did set them free, but I plan to reunite myself with them very soon!

Tribe underwear provided me with this pair of underwear to review

One of my goals this year working on the Underwear News Briefs blog is to expose our readers to some brands of underwear that they may not know about. Candyman Fashions is one of those brands that I wanted to bring to our readers.

Candyman Fashions looks to role playing costumes to get inspiration for their underwear. However not all of their undies have a “costume” feel. They have some great undies with a lot of fun, unique, and sexy features that you will not find with any other underwear company. Their fabric is one of a kind and you must experience it to really grasp its uniqueness.

I received the”9516 Zebra Boxer” in a size medium to review. This is one of those styles from Candyman that is not a costume, but just a fun pair of undies. They feature a zebra style pattern on the hips and butt, and a solid black front and inside thigh panel. A solid black logo waistband trims it off and adds a little extra “pop”. When I first pull these undies out of the package, the first thing that I noticed was the fabric. It has a shiny look to it. The black front and inner thigh panel almost looks like leather. However, this fabric feels nothing like leather. It is thin but durable, and it stretches and moves with you without any issues. These undies fit great and looks even better .My first impression of the front pouch wasn’t the best. I found it to be a little small, but as I wore them, they almost conformed and molded to my body and we actually very conformable to wear. The one drawback that I did notice is the leg openings did ride up a little, but not enough for me to really notice too much.

These and many of the other styles from Candyman are great to wear for daily wear, but these undies really shine when you wear them out on the town. The fit is great for all day wear, but the patterns, colors, fabric, and sex appeal of these undies are meant to be noticed. They also can add a little extra spice in the bedroom. I wouldn’t recommend wearing these to the gym or out for a run. I am not saying that you couldn’t, but I believe there are better undies for that. Best to let these eye catching undies be seen in the wild and not full of sweat while you are doing to squat workout.

Overall, I really enjoyed these undies. They add an element of fun and a little “something different” to my ever expanding underwear collection.

I had never really gotten in to jockstraps before I started writing for Underwear News Briefs.  I quickly found what I had been missing for almost 26 years of my life.  Since my first jockstrap purchase a couple of years ago, I have had the opportunity to try a few styles and brands.  I was very excited to find out that I was going to review one of my favorite brands and cuts.

For those of you that are not familiar with Cocksox, they are a men’s underwear company out of Australia.  They have done for men’s underwear what “the push-up bra has done for women”.  Cocksox has expanded its collections to include not only jockstraps but briefs, thongs, and boxers as well.  Their pouch design is unlike any other underwear company out there.  It has been designed and tested to fit your package like…well, a sock!

I received the new black Classic Jockstrap in a size medium to review.  I have worn the waistband brief and loved it so I was very excited to try the jock.  The first thing I noticed was the soft pouch material.  It is made of a high quality Supplex fabric that is very soft and very breathable.  The waistband is not huge, which was a plus for me, especially if I am looking for a jock for everyday wear.  The waistband has the Cocksox logo in a contrasting tan color.  The leg straps are also very soft to the touch.  I would have to say that I prefer leg straps that don’t twist or curl when you put the jock on.  My personal preference is a rounded fabric on the leg straps and not a flat piece, but this isn’t enough reasoning for me to not love this jock.  I will say the look of this jock, both on and off, is one of the sexiest pieces of Cocksox gear I have in my underwear arsenal.

I wore this jock a couple of times to the gym.  It held up nicely and kept everything in place.  It also added a little extra bulge in the front of my mesh shorts to make a few heads turn. I am in the middle of a pretty intense cardio program and never once during my workout did I have to adjust my undies.  I also wore this jock to work, and once again, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.  Sitting at a desk all day, I sometimes find my undies cramping the goods in the crotch. The Cocksox jock couldn’t have fit any better. It stayed in place and the specially designed pouch provided enough room for everything to fit and rest comfortably.

UNB has again sent me a new brand of undies to add to my ever expanding collection.  Piss & Vinegar is a brand that, just by its name, is intriguing and according to my boyfriend, fits my personality well.

Piss and Vinegar is actually British slang for “living young at heart”, and made its debut at The Las Vegas Pool Tradeshow at the end of last summer.  Jason Sutherland, designer and creator behind Piss and Vinegar and also the former president of Ginch Gonch, has brought the playfulness of Ginch Gonch to the more grown up arena.  Piss and Vinegar is designed for the guy that doesn’t want to fit into the traditional cultural and conditioned stereotypes.  Piss and Vinegar’s underwear is made of 96% Pima, a very soft and comfortable cotton, and 4% Lycra to give it just enough stretch to mold to and move with your body.  All of their underwear comes with a 1.25 inch microfiber elastic logo waistband.

I received the ”I Love Girls” Cartoon Brief in size 32 (M) to review.  This is one style that is available from the Piss and Vinegar’s “I Love…” Collection, also available with themes like the controversial “I love Jesus” and “I love Buddha” briefs as well as “I love Boys”, “I love Girls” and a few other eye catching styles.  The entire collection comes in briefs, boxer briefs, low rise briefs, and jock straps. I slipped these on right after receiving them, like I do whenever I get undies to review.  The first thing I noticed was that the fabric is very soft and the pattern was fun and colorful.  There was plenty of coverage in the back, but that wasn’t the case in the front.  I thought they could have added a little more fabric to the pouch area, as it felt a little cramped.  I took them off and put them aside to wear the next day… ALL DAY, as that would be the true test.

When I wore them for an extended period of time, I found that the cramped feeling I got in the pouch area wasn’t as noticeable and I didn’t seem to mind it much.  They stayed with me all day and didn’t ride up at all.  I did have a little bunching in the rear towards the end of the day but nothing that would stop me from wearing them again and again.  I also decided to take them one step further and wear them during my cardio workout that night.  They held up really well and even with a little sweat, they did great.  They didn’t offer a lot of support in the front when I was exercising, but I don’t think Piss and Vinegar had that in mind when they designed these.

Ristefsky Macheda Dare Brief

My recent assignment was to try out a new pair of Australian briefs.  We’ve written lately about the emergence of the Australians in the men’s underwear market.  We are very happy to see them since they are bringing about changes in the way we see underwear.  It is also good that the world is getting more choices than the ones we had become so familiar with.  It’s funny that years ago, the slate was clean and underwear had many directions it could take.  Today, that slate has become full of competition as designers from around the world embark on discoveries in new designs and materials to make the modern man comfortable and sexy…all while wearing one pair of underwear.  One of those would be the Ristefsky Macheda Dare Brief.

Started by its founders Stephen Ristefsky and Vincent Macheda in 2005, Ristefsky Macheda (RM) has blended European and Australian style to create a bold line of underwear and beachwear.  Both designers are of European decent and have placed themselves into Australian fashion and expanding their vision to the rest of the world.  We welcome RM to the world of men’s fashion and plead for their creativeness in supplying men with innovative clothing.

I, like many others, enjoy the feeling of opening a new package of underwear.  One could say that opening this package meant opening opportunities…for feeling sexy or well supported.  This pair of red/white Dare Briefs did not disappoint in offering those opportunities.  For a size small, the briefs fit true to size.  There was no bunching, no looseness, and no cut marks on either the waist or the leg.  This brief comes with a fly opening for those that chose to use it. I am not a fly user since I feel it causes the underwear to lose much of its pouch shape when stretched out.  If you do use it, be sure to notice the width of material you will be fishing through; it’s rather wide.  The material used in the Dare Brief is 95% cotton and 5% Elastane.  The brief can be washed in the washer (thankfully) and it is not recommended to tumble dry or iron them.

There is no defined pouch used on this brief.  I thought I was going to have to position differently than I normally would, but surprisingly, I was able to dress comfortably downward.  The material is stretchy enough to supply a nice fit to the crotch.  The legs were not tight and the waistband fit perfectly with a width at 1.75 inches (4.45 cm).  The rear had ample coverage and did not move out of place.  If I had gone to the gym, I am sure these would have been perfectly fine while running or lifting weights.

All together, I am very impressed with the RM Dare Brief.  The designers did very well in producing an article of clothing they should be proud for anyone to wear.  The brief satisfied all my expectations in what a great pair of underwear should provide its wearer.

The Ristefsky Macheda briefs can be purchased from their website at www.ristefskymacheda.com for $20.57 US and $22.95 AU. I am sure you will be as delighted with them as I am.  Ristefsky Macheda furnished these briefs for our review.

Being a novice at men’s underwear and loving the opportunity to try different pairs I have learned a lot about what I like, don’t like, want to try, etc.  I have seen different brands and styles and have looked at them with a raised eyebrow of confusion or with an intrigue and longing to try.  Writing for this blog has provided me some great opportunities to “test drive” some undies and report back my thoughts, findings, etc.

I am proud to have had the opportunity to wear a pair of James Tudor underwear.  When I first received them I wasn’t sure about how the button fly and easy access went together but figured I would give them a try and see.  To my amazement it was not difficult to access.  All I had to do is pop the top button and I was able to take care of personal business.  Buttoning them back up was not that difficult either.

The material is 95% cotton and 5% Lycra.  The piping creates an amazing frame around the hips.  The tags are placed in non-irritating locations and are not rough to the touch, indicating great thought and design in the creative process.

We get the third review from Del and Jason. They are reviewing Ginch Gonch. Ginch Gonch is one of my favorites. But, see how Del and Jason thought of them!

This is our 2nd experience with Ginch Gonch. We were on an RSVP cruise a couple of years ago when the line was launched and were given freebies — they were sponsoring the underwear party. That time we both wore bikini camo briefs, which were very hot. Made your body look good and your package look better. We did find that when we returned, they didn’t hold up very well. Weak elastic and the briefs got out of shape quickly. It seems that the new ones we received were made better and are holding up better, but compared to other brands (2Xist, Baskit), they still have a ways to go. They are frankly not our very favorites. The designs with their homage to kid’s underwear, well, we just don’t find that sexy and Jason especially feels they are not nearly as comfortable as they should be.

We were sent two pair — one brief and one square-cut brief. The square-cut brief is slightly more comfortable than the brief. The square-cut has a motor cross bike and rider with some numbers. Not sure exactly. Too gay to know. And the brief has the boy’s trucks. Again, not very sexy in our opinion.

These guys are 95% cotton and 5% lacra. Maybe the lacra is the issue, not sure — but compared to our all cotton of Go Software and Baskit, they are not nearly as soft. They are made in Columbia. They also do not have the pouch room that the others mentioned have — thus your dick is squashed, contributing lack of comfort. I do remember the camo bikini brief were much more comfortable, just didn’t hold up well. We both find that in our “rotation” we skip over them unless we need to do wash. We wanted to like them more.

These underwear were furnished by Ginch Gonch for review.

This is our last of the Unico reviews and these are, I will say, some perfect date night underwear. How many times have we gone on a date and wanted to wear something really fun and with the hopes it would be seen? These are perfect for such an occasion.

These are the Equnioccio boxers that are made of the amazing Unico pouch with mesh sides and back. It is really sexy without being over the top! It’s a very sexy pair as you can see by the picture. Unico stepped outside the box for this pair, making it something I haven’t seen very often from them.

The boxer is made from a nylon mesh. It creates something very sexy, but it doesn’t give much movement. The one thing I missed out of this pair is the Unico fit. The mesh was not as forgiving as other pairs I have worn and reviewed. That is one thing I really love about Unico, but for the sexy look I’ll take the trade off!

We continue with our reviews from Del and Jason. We are so excited having them review for us and we hope you enjoy reading them! We will have more for you soon! If you know of any company you would like Del and Jason to review let us know!

We both LOVE the underwear that was sent to us from Baskit. Okay, we love two pair and one is a little on the silly side. But first of all, can we just briefly discuss how hot the name of this underwear is. Baskit. Immediately just reeks sexy and conjures up an image of a great package. For two gay men, we already in!

We were sent two pair of briefs and one Jock Brief from the Baskit line. One Pure Bikini, which is white, trimmed in green (Tim, please correct if “green” is more fancy LOL) One was the Contrast Bikini, white trimmed in Riviera Blue. And finally the Jock Brief, green trimmed in orange, the only one we didn’t love. The colors were a little extreme on the Jock Brief and it just felt silly too us with the ass cut out, although we can totally understand some guys loving it and finding it extremely hot. Like you have a secret underneath your clothes!

These guys are 100% cotton, very soft and they feel amazing. The fit is perfect, snug, but doesn’t feel tight, with just the right pouch for comfort and framing of your “package”. We really really love the feel and continue to gravitate to them often as one of our favorite lines — and trust us when we say, we have LOTS of underwear. And they are damn sexy to boot! We love to have a variation of underwear and Baskit will continue to be in our rotation.

The reviews continue of Unico. I have to say what is really not to like of Unico. As, I have reviewed underwear by Unico, I have found very few I haven’t liked. Actually, everything I have reviewed I have loved. It goes back to the pouch! There are very few undies with out pouches that I like. The pouch just holds everything the way it should be held.

I put these undies on and they were similar to the Jardin pair. They had a very similar cut, but they were a really bright yellow. It’s awesome to see some really fun colors come back to men’s undies. Although, I have a friend who said “The last thing I want to do is to have to color coordinate my underwear.” I know there are some of you thinking that, but it can be fun to do that from time to time.

These underwear were a bit different then the Jardin pair, they were a spandex/cotton blend. Which I liked, but I found the spandex blend more comfy. These have the same pouch and fit. But I personally love the fit of the spandex best. That doesn’t mean to say I didn’t like these. They still fit pretty awesome. The pouch was the same as in all their undies.

Round 3 of the Unico reviews and one more to go! It has been a blast to try all of these undies. You know each pair fits differently, and I have enjoyed it.  I must say that I’m more of a brief guy then boxer or trunk. But as you  have seen I have really enjoyed the Unico boxers!

Unico’s Mundo Natural line was inspired by the Tropics, the Amazon Jungle, and its wildlife. Luxuriate in seductive textures that will stimulate your senses, exciting prints that captivate your eyes and new fashion details that are sure to have everyone talking.

The new designs incorporate reptilian inspired waistbands and nature inspired prints as well as the always exceptional Unico construction. Indulge yourself in style and comfort. Made out of 93% Cotton, 7% Spandex.

These undies have been great to wear. I wish they would have been in more spandex/nylon material but, the pouch was incredible. They have a unique fit that really holds everything in place. The briefs also gave full coverage and never rode up or bunched. Which to me is a good thing in a brief

Out of France comes Todger, an energetic looking company ready to apply style “to the everyday tough guy.”  The designer, Patrick Kon, created Todger after realizing there was not much difference in overpriced remakes of original styles and the old trusty briefs.  The following was taken from the company itself in describing their product:

“TODGER is about sexy wearable cuts with high quality fabrics and sense of humour (the brand has a slick and chic logo with a twist in the name understandable only to the British). The secret is all in the underwear. It is a fashionable tool for men to feel and look sexy. It is not an intimidating image you must follow. That’s why our packaging is as simple as it is: we do not want to tell our clients how they should look. Actually, each man should be allowed to do what he wants with his own TODGER!”

The Slimer brief is made from 97% cotton and 3% Lycra.  The waistband is slightly over 1.5 inches (38.1 mm).  The lining and trimming is made of 93% bamboo and 7% elastane.  The care instructions are a bit picky as they recommend washing them at a maximum of 104°F (40°C), do not tumble dry, and do not have the dry cleaned or try to bleach them….I know you will not do either if you expect to own them for very long!

I was supplied with a pair of small baby blue Slimer briefs to review.  I wore them for a day of school, walking around campus and the mall, and then lounging around the house.  I was surprised at the great feel of the material.  It’s ribbed and soft at the same time.  I would not say that it is forgiving in the crotch area.  To be descriptive, I dress pointing downward and to the right.  I couldn’t do this in these briefs, finding that it compressed everything next to my body and making things uncomfortable.  I was forced to dress pointing upward and to the left.  This isn’t flattering in any kind of jeans and being totally honest, does not allow for any “happiness” while wearing them.  But, I am one person…and obviously not the model in the picture above.

The briefs sit low on the waist to the point of not exactly being on the waist.  If you aren’t used to the feeling of a low-lying brief, the Slimer brief may take a bit to get used to.  I am one of those people and it felt like I needed to pull my underwear up during the day.  I had to remind myself that if I made this mistake, I would be talking a few octives higher than normal.

In the design realm of things, I am being led to believe, from the recent briefs I have reviewed, that European companies love placing the care tags on the bottom of the waistband so that they hang down into the back of the underwear.  How loudly do I need to scream from Mount Elbrus in Europe that it is uncomfortable to have a care tag sliding across the top of your crack?  The first thing that will happen with many men is they will grab the first knife or pair of scissors they can find and cut the tag out of their new underwear….leaving no care instructions if the question of proper washing techniques arises.  Resolution: Place the tags along the waistband or no tag at all.  Stamp the instructions on the material just underneath the waistband.  The problem would be immediately solved.

Overall, the underwear feels great to wear.  Thinking that everyone who tries this brief will fall in love with it is totally ludicrous.  It will fit different people in different ways.  It will work perfectly on those with slimmer bodies and like a lower sitting waist.  It would not be advisable for those who enjoy more room in the crotch or, like me, dress downward.  The only way I can grade this brief is how it fits on me.  Take my recommendation with a grain of salt and judge it for yourself.

The Todger Slimer brief can be purchased from the Todger website, located at http://www.thetodger.com.  While there, you can view their other styles by clicking the “SHOP” option at the top and clicking on the photo with the heading “New Basic.”  This line contains a brief, trunk, and traditional boxer.  Also, its brief and trunk feature the horizontal fly.  Todger, I believe, does a good job in supplying a choice of cuts for the everyday man.

I love it when UNB sends me brands that I don’t know much about. It allows me to broaden my underwear horizons further than they are. Bend the Rules is one such brand.  When I found out that I was getting a pair of their Boxer Briefs, I immediately hit the internet to do a little research. I was very impressed with what I found.

Bend the Rules is a fairly new underwear company located in Beverly Hills, California. The company was founded by Markus Bender who is also their designer and CEO. Bend the Rules spent over a year perfecting the fabric they use in their underwear and you can surely tell. This is one of the most amazing fabrics I have felt. The fabric is called Tencel, a fiber that is 130% more absorbent then cotton. According to their website, it’s more breathable, antibacterial, and is a natural fiber that is ecologically sound for the environment. It really is the perfect fabric for undies. Markus is quoted on their website as saying, “You will find Bend the Rules to be the finest, most comfortable boxer briefs you have ever worn.  You have my word on it!” That is a pretty big promise to stand behind…and they delivered!

When I first received my Bend the Rules Urban Crusade brown boxer briefs in size medium, they didn’t look like anything special.  Sure, the print on the left thigh and the right butt cheek was pretty cool, and fun, and the rhinestone set in the middle of the pattern on the left thigh added a little extra “bling”, but it was the feel of the fabric that drew me in.  The material is amazing and is so hard to describe.  It is flexible and stays in place. The waistband and leg openings are wrapped in the same fabric, making them very comfortable and not too restrictive. The sizing was right on. The mediums fit me like they were made just for my body.

I have worn these boxer briefs a couple of times now, and can say they are defiantly a pair that will stay in my top drawer with the rest of my favorite undies.  I have worn them all day at work and out for a quick jog afterwards. They were consistently amazing for both. The design isn’t geared to workout wear in my opinion, but if you forget your workout undies at home and this is all you have…you will be just fine!

You can purchase any of the Bend the Rules boxer briefs directly from their website.  Remember – these are marketed at Luxury Apparel, so they are a little pricey.  The reviewed boxer briefs retail for $72.00. Bend the Rules does have a lot of other boxer brief styles that range in price from $49.00 to $72.00. You can get these boxer briefs in size small (waist size 29) up to XXX-Large (waist size 46).   While you are at their website, make sure you also check out their tees. Bend the Rules provided me with these boxer briefs to review.
