Fetish Friday – Army of Men Pt. 1

Hello kinksters,

Today is a Part 1 of a two-part post. I hope your week has been going well, mine has been quite dandy. More things have arrived, and you will hear about them soon. This week, I am painfully excited to share this post. I’ll save you the tl;dr anxiety, and just tell you off the bat: Today’s post is part 1 of 2, reviewing leather gear by “Army of Men” from Australia. Specifically, the Bulldog Harness in Blue, and the Bulldog Cockstrap. We’ll get back to that in a second, but I want to give some context for the elation (if you just want the damn review, skip the next paragraph).

In the past year or so, I have been undergoing a sexual identity reconstruction. For most of my sexually active life. I was under the very wrong impression that anything beyond the world of vanilla was “other” and “weird”. Thankfully, I have encountered some incredible people who have helped me reexamine the boundaries of my sexuality and discover more about myself than I could have on my own. To a very special trio (whom I will humorously discreetly name the “Vermont Glitch-mob”), I want to give them my love and thanks. One of the things I wholeheartedly accept into my life now is my total kinked out feelings about leather. I am a professional seamster, and sew leather pretty regularly, because I make special boots for trapeze artists. I love the feel of leather, I love its texture, and shine. Now, I can also totally say, a stud in leather (including myself) gets me going. When I knew I was going to be re-structuring Fetish Friday into a weekly column, I started connecting with companies all over the world, and the owner of Army of Men responded very enthusiastically, and here we are.

Derrick, owner of Army of Men, responded to me when I began researching companies and products to discuss on my Fetish Fridays. He was super generous with info about his company, and products, and helped me with my selection. After bouncing back and forth with him, we selected the Bulldog Harness in Blue, the Bulldog Cockstrap, and the Leather Jock Base in Blue, with a Chevron Codpiece (you guessed it, in Blue). Everything is made to order, because Derrick makes each piece to fit your measurements. Today, I’m going to discuss the Harness and Cockstrap.

I have a X shaped harness in Neoprene, but this was going to be my first real leather harness, and I was really excited to get the Bulldog harness. As a pretty chesty guy (read: professional aerialist), the Bulldog harness draws focus to my broad shoulders, and chest. Derrick himself makes everything, and builds harnesses with a three snap amount of “ease” so you can snap the straps one step tighter or looser than your “baseline” (with the snaps being about an inch apart). When I opened my package from him, the first thing you notice right away, is the quality of leather being used. As I said, I work with leather all the time, and he is clearly choosing very top grade hides. This harness has a triple layer of leather: a doubled outer layer, with a single black leather layer lining the inside against your skin. His rings are quality metal and welded shut. Snaps are strong and sturdy (and custom colored to match the different leather colors and thread he uses).

Putting the harness on, this harness is magnificent, Blue straps over the shoulders and around the sides of the torso, with a black straps including centered D rings across the front and back. This D ring is for the second item I got which is the Bulldog Cockstrap. This strap snaps onto the D ring in the front of the harness, and reaches down to a ring which goes around your…read the product name again. It comes with two firm rubber rings, but the strap snaps around the D ring up top, and the ring down below, so you can switch it out to a ring of your choice. The Cockstrap also has an adjustable belt buckle to make it shorter or longer. The leather lining makes everything hug your body so sure and warm.

Being a professional seamster who was “raised” by a group of incredible impeccable seamstresses (thank you Jamie and the Temple University Costume Shop), I can tell you that Derrick puts a lot of love and dedication to his leather work. They are pristine, and bold, and strong. His design eye is also innovative, and not just sticking to the basics.

Fetish Friday – Low Cut Singlets!

Hey all you fetish fantasticos! I hope you had a great week. Something really special to me arrived this week in the mail, but you will hear about that soon enough. This week, the hint (if you read last week’s post) was “WHISTLE”.

Did you guess correctly?

SINGLETS!!!!!!! (Whistle, like the way wrestling matches are cued…too vague?)

This week I wanna focus on a specific cut of singlet. The LOW cut racerback singlet. Essentially, what you get is a pair of booty shorts, with some pouch room up front, and then two suspender-like straps going up the chest, around the neck, meeting at the nape in a junction turning into one suspender strap leading to the back of the short.

As for wrestling, it’s a pretty dumb outfit, but when it comes to ticking the spandex sexytime box, and the sporty sexy time box, it wins. A subtle design aspect of the suspender straps, also ticks the box that “The Notebook” style shirtless hunk in suspenders fits in (come on, don’t tell me a shirtless hunk in suspenders doesn’t do it for ya).

I have a lot of singlets, but only a few of these, it seems like most companies make ONE of these, rather than a whole bunch of different styles. What I love about this style is the way it lifts up the shorts on either side of your pouch, so you get a very nice “weighty” effect to your bulge (no complaints here). The back being racerback also allows you to show a lot of skin, and give a very seductive lead down to your tush.

In my arsenal, i own 2 from N2N Bodywear (2 different kinds of the PX singlet), and one from ManView (a sexy mesh one with neon blue bindings around the edges). I am getting a new one from a different company but it’s still in the mail right now. You will be hearing more about that once it arrives. So many exciting things to share, but can’t do it all at once.

Hello Fetish Friday readers, welcome to the second week of this glorious column. If you didn’t catch last week’s post about the Fort Troff Grunt Jock, it’s definitely worth a read. This week, we’re going in a very different direction (I want Fetish Friday to welcome all kinks and curiosities).

In my recent conversations with gentlemen callers. I have come across a fetish that I’m not that into, and a stimulation that I agree with. The first gentleman was really into women’s lingerie, “panties” was the term he used. While I can say that’s certainly not something I’m into, I’ve heard about it enough to be a presence. The latter gentleman told me what he was most into is seeing a wet bulge (i.e. speedos, showering in undies…etc). Now, this idea I can certainly get behind (or in front of). BodyAware is not a frilly brand. They make sexy contouring shapes that hug the body. No crazy strap configurations, or metallic waistbands. They are sleek and sensual. Their fabric is very thin, but of high quality 90% polyamide/10% spandex blend. The Invisible Shaper Brief is a sexy brief, with a very nicely pushed out pouch. The fabric has a bit of sheerness to it (probably more for the lighter colors). When wet, the fabric doesn’t droop or sag, but all the details get a bit more visible.

While I don’t have anything that would truly satisfy the women’s panty gentleman. I think this would definitely fall into the genre of men’s lingerie. I can also guarantee it was a hit with the Wet Bulge Appreciation Society. It’s silky, it’s skimpy, it’s sheer, and it gives everything a little lift. Fetish Friday: Fort Troff Grunt Jock – Modular Chassis and Pouches.

Hello Kinksters and Curious! Allow me to introduce you to the new and incredible weekly column,“FETISH FRIDAYS”! Each week, we will feature fetish-wear of all kinks and tastes from the best brands around. We will also occasionally have some provocative interviews with fantastic fetish-wear models, designers, celebrators. I have extremely high hopes for just how awesome this column will be. Please share your thoughts in the comments section; I will keep an eye out.

For the inaugural post and I wanted to share a personal favorite in my arsenal; surprise surprise, it’s from Fort Troff. If you don’t know Fort Troff, they are an amazing sex-positive kink-positive hardcore sex toy and gear store located in Atlanta. They don’t have a huge clothing selection, but what they do carry is phenomenal. Today, I’d like to discuss the Grunt Jock Modular Chassis and Pouch system.

What you buy is a jock that has no pouch on the front, with snaps at the top two corners of the pouch area, and one under the balls. Where the pouch would go is a very thrilling Jock Armour Cock Ring (also sold as it’s own cock ring). Then, separately, you have 5 different pouches to choose from that snap onto the front of the jock chassis:

Red Spandex

The built in Armour cock ring is made out of a blend of TPR and Silicone. It is a great size and stretchy-ness especially for the girthy guys out there (represent!). They have redesigned this ring, and I have both the old and new versions. The new version is the comfort equivalent of kinky lounge wear.

The pouches are all cut in the style of more a boxy leather type pouch with a centered vertical strip and curved side walls. The centered strip features the Fort Troff logo. For the neoprene pouch, the sides are textures with little bitty diamonds, which gives it a very hardcore look. The spandex has the same rubber center logo strip with spandex side panels.

I love this jock for many reasons. The first reason is the straps are nice and thick, so they feel firm and steady. The other big feature is the pouch is fully detachable. So when you are ready to reveal the present within, you don’t have an awkward pouch flap hanging between your legs (there should only be one focus between your legs). I personally own the black neoprene pouch and a blue spandex pouch. I like the spandex a little bit more than the neoprene pouch, but love them both for different occasions.

Bodysuits are growing in popularity in the world of men’s fetishwear. They can be worn under jeans out or under your work clothes (suit or uniform). Expose your Masculinity with Maskulo

Finding new fetish brands for you guys is one thing I really love! One of the new brands I just love is Maskulo. You may have seen them at Jockstrap Central. We have promoted them a few times. I wanted to give you guys a more in depth view of this company. Which totally fits our Fetish Friday brand! This is not gear you wear to the grocery store, but for a fun night.

The first thing that stuck me about the company is they are based out of Russia. I wasn’t expecting it, rather I was thinking they were out of Germany. I say this because of all the political issues surrounding being gay in Russia. This brand definitely is after the gay market but anyone wanting to have fun is definitely welcome!

One thing you may notice about the pairs is, they are inspired by Football (American that is). Most of the pairs have a padded section that will remind you of football pants or shoulder pads. My personal opinion is I Love this look. I have always had a thing for this kind of gear. I can’t just break out the UNB budget on the gear. What gear do they have?

Men’s Codpiece JockStrap G-string Thong Underwear – If I had to pick a favorite piece in the collection it would be the jock. I love the football inspired look of the entire collection and the gear geek in me would love to put it all on. The jock to me is HOT. It has a foam rubber cod piece. That detaches from the jock for easy access. Another piece of the jock I like is the waistband. Unlike a lot of leather looking fetish jock, its has a more traditional waistband. Fetish Friday Modus Vivendi Latex Jockstrap

Fetish Friday featuring Pikante Drako Boxer

It’s Fetish FRIDAY! How many of you out there are excited? How many are participating? If you aren’t think about doing it next week or on a date! Most Fetish Friday’s we cover something skimpy and small. Let’s face it there are a lot of us out there who love this type of underwear. Bare as you dare as they say. And there is nothing wrong with that at all!

There are other pairs that are considered fetish that aren’t skimpy. When anything larger comes to mind I think of leather shorts or chaps. The back is a full back (well where the straps end) as well. The waistband is a shiny almost metallic Pikante waistband that really off sets the pair.

The color of the pair is something that may throw you. Each side of the boxer is a different color. The gold is gold in the front but red in the back. Where as the black is black in front and white in the back. This design feature really gets the pair off well. It’s creative and super fun.

Fetish Friday – Should you Buy that Pair?

Should I? We’ve all said it, whether while standing in a great underwear store or clicking through pages online. Should I? I mean, I’ll NEVER actually wear it. Will I? I just don’t see the point if I’m not going to use it. Right?

All I will say is: If you get it, you’ll find a reason, a time, an occasion to wear em if you want to.

Sometimes we come across those pairs, the leather straps, the unsupportive mesh the zippers that we secretly want to have even if it’s just to have it. One of the first pairs like that for me was a leather jockstrap with a zipper right down the pouch. I don’t remember the brand, I don’t remember where I got it and sadly, I don’t have that pair anymore. Did I ever find a time to wear it? You bet I did.

Deciding to buy a piece of what might be called fetish or erotic wear comes down to the same thing as any high quality underwear. Will it make YOU the wearer, feel good? If it will make you feel sexy, then forget about the potential viewer. Forget about a potential situation. If it gives you a spring in your step then it’s 100% worth it. This is about you and what makes YOU feel hotter than the sun.

For those who are really concerned about the usefulness…if there is a willy there is a way-y. Fetish wear or leather is not something that everyone uses or incorporates into their every day or their bedroom time, that’s okay. That does not mean, however, that you shouldn’t let yourself try owning one. Should I? Will I? Right? It’s okay to just, have it. To know that it’s there in a drawer and then one day you’ll mention it to your date, spouse, significant other, as a joke and the joke will become real and even if it’s just for that one time, worth it.

To date I have a handful of those pairs and I like having them. I have some black all mesh Male Basics briefs. I have a Petite-Q c-string. I have a generic zippered speedo. I have a blue and white Pulse jockstrap with mesh pouch, and more. Have I ever used any of them as regular underwear or to spice things up? Absolutely. Do I use them or wear them very often? Absolutely not. But I could, because I have them.

Should you? Sure, why not! Find one that the thought of having secretly excites you and then muster the courage and get it.

So if you’re thinking that Fetish Friday isn’t for you, it could be if you let it.

It’s Fetish Friday! That day we profile something super fun and not your everyday wear! It could be something to wear for a “romantic” night or to a Bar night. These pairs would be for the former unless you are an exhibitionist. The pairs we choose are the Candyman S&M Costumes.

The boxer briefs are mesh, except the pouch, and has a lace up back. The blindfold is made out of the same leather like material with some accents around the edge! It’s super fun and sexy!

The last style is the 99161 which is the same as the 99159 except it has the cuffs instead of the blindfold. Granted the cuffs are not super tight but all these are for fun. If you want both the cuffs and blinforld get the 9915.

If you want the real S&M experience you need to get something a bit more fetishy. But for something fun to spice up the bedroom these could just do the trick. Harnesses are BIG right now. In the world of fetishwear harnesses are the new singlet. Just about every company has one these days. In the years gone by the harness was a piece of clothing you would just find at a leather bar or S&M club. The Perfect Jock is paired with the Tailored Harness. It doesn’t have to be worn with it, but does make a nice combination. The three panel design of the jock has the look of leather. However, its not leather but a spandex material made to look like leather. If you have ever worn a leather jock you know it can be very hot after a while. Its Fetish Friday! Its that day when we bring you a great pair of fetishwear! This week we chose a pair from the Man Store. If you aren’t familiar with the Man Store they are basically like a big candy store for lovers of erotic/fetishwear. They aren’t too well known in the US. Occasionally you will see something but for the most part many out there may not have heard of it before!

The Zippered is one that has the look of latex. If you are familiar with latex it’s a material that is not the easiest to care for or the cheapest. It takes a lot of special care for latex clothing. This pair has the look of latex but actually made out of micro fiber. Meaning it will be easier to care for and maintain. There is nothing worse than spending big money on a pair of gear only to have issues with it later!

Fetish Friday – Give Lace a Try

When I first found out there was a whole world of undies for men outside of boxers and breifs for men. In an odd way I should thank my parents oddly enough for my love of sexy undies, you see as a child (middle school aged) we took many trips to Las Vegas. It was here that I saw hunderds upon hundreds of signs…like a double dipped ice cream cone. The one thing I noticed that struck me as odd. The men on these adverts, they were in undies I’d never seen before. Men! Massive men, Grown men who looked like they should be doing construction, cutting logs in the deepest darkest rain forest. Just standing there on massive bilbords in thongs, boy shorts. Made of silk, velvet, lace and more fabrics than I could shake my head at.

A few years later, something else had happend, a true realization…I am Bisexual. It had been ever so apperent in my art (very provocitive), That I liked both men and women. However I knew that I would never be big and hunky like those men on the adverts, so…I wanted to show some way that I could be just as sexy. As I moved from town to town and entered my High School years, I took theater. One day putting props away I found a lepord print thong! If I may borrow a quote from one of my heros “Oh my” to be that close and be able to feel them and see the design of such sexy undies. However the fabric was all wrong.

Later that summer I got a job and a prepay amazon card, When I had the house to myself…sitting there in front of the computer picking out ever so carefully what style of undies, the fabric, the prices, and everything else down to the colour. The weeks following were to say the least, Heavy with antisipation. Then it happend, Oh that glorious day came…my lace undies came in. I don’t think I have ever put on undies so quick yet so slowly. As those lace undies slid up my legs and on, I had to savour the moment. Being as shy and nervous as I was when I was a that young, Only wearing them around the house, maybe a day or two every week or so. I finally got some courage and wore them to school once and I’ve never been more scared or felt so confident and sexy at the same time. People noticed my boost in confidence, I began talking to everyone more. These magical lace undies had boosted my confidence so much I got out of my shell and was comfortable in my own skin, so much so that I began to talk more openly to everyone.

There are many things I could tell you about various undies, in good time I shall. However I want to talk about my love for one of the best fabrics…Lace!

My main reasons are few but very good:
1. Lace is truly breathable.
2. Thin, I never (personally) liked the fact that boxers bunch up or breifs hold everything to tightly.
3. Great for feeling sexy.
4. Not to intimidating for beginers.

Now if you were like me, wanting to take that first true step into a life outside of boxers, breifs, or boxer breifes. I would highly recommend a pair of Joe Snyder Mini Cheek Lace or Lacie BoyShort by MaleBasics, or if you’re feeling extra brave and sexy (I know these aren’t lace but hey isn’t variaty the spice of life?)

It may be intimidating at first when you try them on, however if you give them a good walk around in the house to get used to the feeling. Once you get over that “new undie” feeling and take them out on the town I can personally give you my word you will not just feel sexy but exceptionally more confident.

Welcome to Fetish Friday! After our reader survey we realize how much you guys like fetish/eroticwear. So the Fetish Friday will be returning. The Suspend-It Jock is pretty self explanatory. Its a jock that has a hole in it so you can “suspend your manhood.” The fabric of the jock is cotton/lycra blend with the hole opening has a pleather trim that will stretch to fit any size. So you won’t have to worry you are too big for this pair. The pair also has a newly designed 1 1/2 inch waistband with the Hard Core name on it. Gluteus Brief – You maybe asking what is a Gluteus Brief? It’s what Go Softwear is calling a jock brief. I will admit the name is very descriptive and interesting. This pair has the same fabric as the Jock. It’s a cotton/lycra blend with a pleather trim. Also, there are pleather inserts on each side of the pouch. The brief also has the same 1 1/2 waistband. Retails for $27.50.

Gluteus Boxer – If you figured out the Gluteus brief is a jock brief you will know this is a jock boxer. The newest hybrid in the world of men’s underwear. This has the same as above in fabric and waistbands. The thing that is different is the boxer has a 10 inch side seam. This is a longer boxer brief. It should come to your mid thigh. So if you’re looking or something shorter I would suggest the brief. Retails for $28.50

The colors that are available in this line are black and charcoal. I would say get the black. The first is it looks like leather and the second its HOT! But get the color you like best! The line mixes both the traditional fabric with pleather accents. This would be a great starter for those venturing into the world of fetish wear.
